Abstrak :
Perawat diharuskan untuk melaksanakan komunikasi efektif adalam melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan. Situasi, Latar Belakang, Analisis, dan Perencanaan (SBAR) Komunikasi merupakan metode yang memudahkan perawat ataupun tenaga kesehatan yang lain dalam penyampaian informasi perkembangan kesehatan pasien dalam proses timbang terima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap perawat dalam penerapan komunikasi SBAR saat timbang terima. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian analitis dengan desain cross sectional terhadap 55 perawat yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling dari 3 ruangan rawat inap kelas 1, 2 dan 3 (ruangan anggrek, melati dan cempaka) RSUD Pasar Rebo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap perawat dalam penerapan SBAR komunikasi (nilai p=0,113). Akan tetapi secara deskriptif didapatkan hubungan positif antara pengetahuan dengan sikap perawat dalam penerapan SBAR komunikasi (r=0,332) sehingga menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi pengetahuan perawat maka semakin baik juga sikap penerapan SBAR komunikasi. Direkomendasikan untuk pihak RSUD Pasar Rebo agar dapat mengembangkan standar komunikasi SBAR ke seluruh ruangan di RSUD Pasar Rebo sehingga komunikasi yang efektif dapat menjadi budaya di antara tenaga kesehatan di rumah sakit. ...... Situation, Background, Analysis, and Recommendation (SBAR) Communication is a method that facilitates nurses or other health personnel in exchanging the information of patient?s development during handover. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitude of nurses in the SBAR communication application during handover. This research is analytical research with cross-sectional design of 55 nurses taken from 3 inpatient rooms (indoor orchid, jasmine and frangipani) Pasar Rebo. The results showed no significant correlation between knowledge and attitude of nurses in implementing SBAR communication (p value = 0.113). However, there was positive relationship between knowledge and attitude of nurses in implementing SBAR communication (r = 0.332), showing that the higher a nurse's knowledge, the better the attitude in performing SBAR communication. Pasar Rebo Hospital should develop and enhance the SBAR communication standard to all inpatient rooms so that a better effective communication can become a culture among health care professionals.

Abstrak :
Komunikasi merupakan elemen dasar dalam membina hubungan yang baik antara perawat dan klien. Masih banyaknya keluhan terhadap komunikasi perawat (komunikasi verbal perawat dan komunikasi non verbal) menunjukkan kualitas komunikasi perawat yang masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan persepsi klien tentang komunikasi perawat. Desain penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif korelatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, menggunakan sampel sebesar 97 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik stratified sampling, dan instrumen berbentuk kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden yang memiliki persepsi baik tentang komunikasi verbal perawat yaitu berjumlah 67 orang (69.1%). Responden yang memiliki persepsi baik tentang komunikasi non verbal perawat yaitu berjumlah 60 orang (61.9%). Tidak terdapat perbedaan proporsi persepsi tentang komunikasi perawat berdasarkan kelas ruang rawat (p=0,103; α=0,05). Gambaran mengenai persepsi klien tentang komunikasi perawat diharapkan menjadi bahan evaluasi dan motivasi baik perawat maupun mahasiswa keperawatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas komunikasi perawat.
Communication is a basic element of building good relationship between nurse and client. Still many complain about nurse communication (verbal and non verbal) shows lack quality of nurse communication. The aim of this study was to identify the client perception of nurse communication. Descriptive correlative study and cross sectional approach was conducted by using questionnaires among 97 which chosen by stratified sampling method. The result showed that the client had good perception about nurse communication both verbal and non verbal. There are 67 clients (69,1%) had good perception about verbal communication of nurses, and 60 clients (61,9%) had good perception about non verbal communication of nurses. There is no difference about client perception of nurse communication in several class of room (p=0,103; α=0,05). This client perception about nurse communication should become evaluation material and also motivation for both nurse and student to increase the quality of nurse communication

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan efektivitas komunikasi perawat-pasien di ruang rawat inap RS Harapan Mulia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan crossectional yang dilakukan pada periode rawat Maret-Mei 2015 pada 60 pasien dan 30 perawat sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan 53,3% responden pasien menilai komunikasi perawat efektif, analisis lebih lanjut dengan regresi logistik menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara karakter perawat, kelelahan fisik dan mental, bahasa, dukungan pimpinan dan manajemen rumah sakit, fasilitas dan penghargaan dengan efektivitas komunikasi perawat dan pasien.
The study aims to determine the factors associated with the effectiveness of nurse and patient communication at inpatient unit in Harapan Mulia Hospital located in Bekasi Regency. It is a quantitative study with cross-sectional design. Samples are the total population amounted up to 30 nurses with 60 patients as respondents conducted in March - May 2015. The results showed that 53.3% of patients perceived that nurses?s communication was effective, further analysis with logistic regression showed no significant relationship between the characters nurses, physical and mental fatigue, language, leadership and management support for hospitals, facilities and reward with the nurses and patients communication effectiveness.

Penyebaran wabah COVID-19 yang cepat dan terus bertambah menjadikan perawat dan tenaga kesehatan lain sebagai populasi berisiko tinggi penularan COVID-19. Kepatuhan penggunaan APD menjadi kunci utama pemutus rantai penyebaran wabah virus yang menular melalui airborne. Namun dari sudut pandang pasien yang mendapatkan perawatan di unit isolasi COVID-19 mengatakan bahwa berhadapan dengan petugas kesehatan dengan penggunaan hazmat sedikit menimbulkan kecemasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran komunikasi terapeutik perawat terhadap pasien COVID-19 di ruang isolasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 148 perawat di ruang khusus COVID-19 RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Hasil uji univarian didapatkan 95,3% perawat di ruang isolasi COVID-19 melakukan komunikasi terapeutik dengan baik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan program pelatihan komunikasi teraputik bagi perawat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi terapeutik yang baik kepada pasien. ......The rapid and growing spread of the COVID-19 outbreak has made nurses and other health workers a high-risk population for COVID-19 transmission. Compliance with the use of PPE is the main key to breaking the chain of virus outbreaks that are transmitted through airborne. However, from the point of view of patients receiving treatment in the COVID-19 isolation unit, they said that dealing with health workers with the use of hazmat caused a bit of anxiety. This study aims to find out how the description of nurse therapeutic communication with COVID-19 patients in the isolation room. This research uses descriptive research method. The sample of this study was 148 nurses in the COVID-19 isolation room at RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo taken by random sampling technique. The results of the univariant test showed that 95.3% nurses at COVID-19 isolation room had good therapeutic communication. This study recommends a therapeutic communication training program for nurses to improve good therapeutic communication skills to patients.

Metode komunikasi kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pasien adalah komunikasi SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recomendation). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan SBAR terhadap pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan perawat di Rumah Sakit Pelabuhan Palembang tahun 2016. Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest dilanjutkan pendekatan kualitatif (Mixed Research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan komunikasi SBAR dan perawat memiliki reaksi baik sesudah pelatihan. Pelatihan komunikasi SBAR efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan perawat. Saran untuk rumah sakit untuk membentuk unit diklat, membuat post training action plan secara konsisten dan program inhouse training lanjutan. ......Collaborative communication methods to improve patient safety is communication SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation). This study aims to determine the effectiveness of training SBAR to knowledge, attitudes, and skills of nurses at Pelabuhan Hospital Palembang in 2016. The results showed significant differences in the knowledge and skills of nurses before and after training SBAR communication and nurses have a good reaction after training. SBAR communication training effectively improve knowledge and skills of nurses. Suggestions for the hospital to restructurisation a unit training, evaluate a post training action plan consistently and advanced in-house training program.

Breaking bad news berkaitan dengan penyampaian informasi yang tidak menyenangkan bagi pasien dan keluarga yang sering harus disampaikan oleh perawat dalam praktik keseharian. Kurangnya keterampilan dan kepercayaan diri perawat masih ditemukan sebagai hambatan dalam breaking bad news. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi efektivitas metode komunikasi model ABCDE dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dan kepercayaan diri perawat dalam breaking bad news. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experiment pre and post test with control group. Sampel penelitian adalah perawat pelaksana di RS X Depok sebanyak 40 orang, 20 orang dalam kelompok intervensi dan 20 orang dalam kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan metode komunikasi model ABCDE efektif meningkatkan keterampilan (p<0,001(intervensi), p=0,017(kontrol)) dan kepercayaan diri (p<0,001(intervensi), p=0,001(kontrol)) perawat dalam breaking bad news baik pada kelompok intervensi maupun kelompok kontrol. Penerapan model komunikasi ABCDE dalam praktik keperawatan membutuhkan dukungan lebih dalam dimensi advance preparation dan dimensi encourage and validate, reflect emotions. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan keterlibatan manajemen atau head nurse sebagai key person di unit perawatan untuk melakukan monitoring dan menciptakan iklim yang memotivasi. ...... Breaking bad news is related to delivering unpleasant information to patients and their families, which nurses often have to convey in daily practice. Nurses’ lack of skills and confidence is still seen as a barrier to breaking bad news. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the ABCDE model communication method on the skills and confidence of nurses in breaking bad news. This research used a quasi-experimental pre-and post-test design with a control group. The research samples were 40 nurses at X Hospital Depok, 20 nurses in the intervention group, and 20 nurses in the control group. The results showed that the implementation of the ABCDE model communication method effectively increased the skills (p<0,001(intervention), p=0,017(control)) and self-confidence (p<0,001(intervention), p=0,001(control)) of nurses in breaking bad news. The implementation of the ABCDE model communication method in nursing practice requires much more support in the advance preparation dimension and the encourages, validates, and reflects emotions dimension. This can be done by increasing the involvement of management or the head nurse as the key person in the nursing unit to monitor and create a motivating climate.

Recent health service should ti-y to grant comprehensive service, in line with technology demand and society interest, clients have resumed to pay attention to profits of hospital providing qualified service, efficient cost and satisfaction to its clients. A hospital, if dose not pay attention to its client?s satisfaction, will diminish its clients and eventually will suffer a financial loss. One of many factors influencing client?s satisfaction is client-nurse communication. The survey at Karya Bhakti Hospital, Bogor indicated that its clients have felt satisfied, yet they still have complaint on that the communication between nurses and clients in inpatient unit has not been active. In consequence, this research was to prove that there was a relation between nurse-client communication and a level of client?s satisfaction with the nursing service. The used method was descriptive correlation and the data collecting utilized cross sectional. The sample of research was 100 people who were patients of inpatient unit of Karya Bhakti Hospital, Bogor. The research was conducted in June and July 2001. The instrument of this research broke down into three part, namely: first client?s characteristics; second, nurses? communication toward client; and third, client?s satisfaction. Characteristics of respondent were: age between 15-73 years old of age, mostly women educational level ranging from elementary to university, mostly from new patients who got service at first; and length of caring ranging from 3-12 days. The research was conducted at four inpatient units. The result of communication variable implied that the clients often got empathy, involved in planning and decision making lfl controlled caring process, entrusted and often got detail, systematic and transparent information as well as rewarding as an individu in nurse communication (Confirmation). The result finding at satisfaction level showed that the level of corespondent?s satisfaction was high enough. Their characteristic did not indicate a significant relation with the level of satisfaction There was a significant Connection between nurse-client COflhrfltiflication (confirmation) and client?s satisfaction on detail-systematic information granting (transparency) as well as attitude to appreciate client as an indivìdu (confirmation). Based on the research, it is recommended that policy makers of the hospital should remain this achievement. And ¡t should be enhanced so the entire staffs of the hospital could run communication well and it could be remained by rewarding to executing nurse whom has carried his/her communication well, emphasizing to all hospital to do so. And they should establish teamwork that handles matter of communication in a hospital and compose a program which focuses on information restructuring such as health education through discharged planning that is adjusted with individual needs. It is suggested that nurses should carry out nursing care using excellent communication. And create a program that control and facilitate communication program in environment of care. For further research, it is recommended that this result should be base of the following research using more complete method such as experiment equation or by direct-qualitative-interview on factors influencing clients? satisfaction. Due to the fact that this research had analyzed the content of communication, so the further research is recommended to ilivestigate some relations between nurse-client communication techniques and achievement of nursing service quality.

Telah terjadi penurunan kinerja perawat di RS Santa Elisabeth Batam dari tahun 2019 sampai dengan semester I tahun 2023. Penurunan kinerja perawat ini dapat menimbulkan dampak yang tidak baik terhadap rumah sakit terutama pada keselamatan pasien. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh coaching pada asuhan keperawatan dan komunikasi perawat terhadap kinerja perawat serta dipengaruhi oleh faktor demografi perawat. Metode penelitian bersifat kuantitatif melalui rancangan penelitian quasi experiment dengan pendekatan pre and post control group. Hasil penelitian dengan uji paired sample T test antara kelompok intervensi sebelum coaching dan sesudah coaching adalah 0,000 dan uji paired sample T test antara kelompok kontrol sebelum coaching dan tanpa coaching adalah 0,081. Untuk hasil penelitian dengan uji independent sample T test antara kelompok intervensi setelah coaching dan kelompok kontrol tanpa coaching adalah 0,000. Dengan uji statistik deskriptif pada faktor demografi perawat setelah coaching terhadap kinerja perawat dengan hasil menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna dari jenis kelamin, usia, tingkat pendidikan, lama kerja dan status penikahan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah intervensi coaching pada asuhan keperawatan dan komunikasi perawat dapat meningkatkan kinerja perawat. ......There has been a decline in the performance of nurses at Santa Elisabeth Batam Hospital from 2019 to the first semester of 2023. This decline in nurse performance could have an adverse impact on the hospital, especially on patient safety. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of coaching on nursing care and nurse communication on nurse performance and is influenced by nurse demographic factors. The research method is quantitative through a quasi-experimental research design with a pre and post control group approach. The results of research using the paired sample T test between the intervention group before coaching was 0.000 and the paired sample T test between the control group before coaching and without coaching was 0.081. For research results using the independent sample T test between the intervention group after coaching and the control group without coaching was 0.000. With descriptive statistical tests on nurse demographic factors after coaching on nurse performance, the results showed that there were no significant differences in gender, age, education level, length of work and marital status. The conclusion of this research is that coaching interventions in nursing care and nurse communication can improve nurse performance.
