"ABSTRACT

ABSTRACT
Career decision making is not only important for students or students, because employees are also faced with various career decisions. These career decisions can trigger career doubts or career indecision, which can then have a negative impact on employees. This study aims to look at the role of neuroticism and extraversion in predicting career indecision of employees. The participants of this research are employees aged 22-44 years and have worked at the company at least six months. The results of this study indicate that neuroticism has a significant positive effect (B = .19, SE B = .066, p <.01), while extraversion has a significant negative effect (B = -.21, SE B = -.229, p <.01) in predicting career indecision. These findings can be useful to enrich the existing literature around career indecision, extraversion, and neuroticism."

A new scale of Obsessive Compulsive Behavior (OCB) has been developed. This study aimed to assess the

Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour (OCB).

The aim of this study is to test validity and reliability of the new scale of neuroticism. We made the new neuroticism scale and another three scales, which are original neuroticism scale, anxiety, and relationship. There were 129 students of University of Queensland. We found that there was positive significant correlation between original scale of neuroticism and new scale of neuroticism, and positive significant correlation between the new scale of neuroticism and anxiety.
The result also shows there is validity in our new scale and original scale of neuroticism. However, we found that there was no positive significant correlation between our new scale of neuroticism and relationship. We also found that our new scale has good reliability M 46.32, SD 6.38 , and item discrimination indices are consistent. Further uses should be considering the low items in discrimination indices.

The presence of an audience could impact an individual`s sporting performance. Individuals with personalities such as high self-esteem and extraversion are often found to perform well in sporting tasks where the audience is present. Because there is a lack of studies on the effects of neuroticism on audience effects, the current study aimed to investigate the effects of neuroticism on audience effects in a simple sports-related task. 39 university students were asked to perform a ball throwing task in an audience or no audience condition. Neuroticism level was measured using the Eysenck Personality Test. The current study hypothesised that participants with lower neuroticism would perform better in audience condition, while participants with higher neuroticism will have impaired performance output. Results showed that there was a significant effect of the presence of an audience in both higher and lower neuroticism, suggesting that despite the level of neuroticism, participants perform better in no audience condition. Thus, only one hypothesis was supported, suggesting that future research should address more careful study on this topic."
