Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara strategi coping stres dan compassion satisfaction, serta menguji coping fokus masalah dan emosi sebagai mediator antara coping fokus spiritual dan compassion satisfaction. Menggunakan Purposive sampling, Kuesioner Proqol R-IV (Stamm, 2010) Brief COPE (Carver dkk, 1989), WCC (Dahlan, 2005) dan Brief RCOPE (Pargament dkk, 1998) diisi oleh 102 perawat UGD, ICU dan Bedah Umum di Makassar. Analisa regresi berganda signifikan untuk hubungan coping fokus masalah dan coping fokus emosi dengan compassion satisfaction (F = 3.459, p = .002<.05), coping fokus masalah dan coping fokus spiritual dengan compassion satisfaction (F = 4.016, p = .000<.05), dan ketiga coping stres dan compassion satisfaction (F = 3.656, p = .001<.05). Hasil uji mediasi menunjukkan hubungan antara coping fokus spiritual dan compassion satisfaction tidak dimediasi oleh coping fokus masalah (jalur a, β = .012, p = .906>.05) dan coping fokus emosi (jalur d, β = -.037, p = .708>.05 dan jalur e, β = .161, p = .093>.05). Penemuan menunjukkan coping fokus spiritual berhubungan langsung dengan compassion satisfaction.

The aim of this study was to explore the relationships of coping and compassion satisfaction, and examine the problem and emotion focused coping as mediator between spiritual focused coping and compassion satisfaction. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah self-compassion merupakan prediktor resiliensi pada penyintas erupsi Gunung Kelud. Penelitian sebelumnya telah menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara self-compassion dan resiliensi, namun belum ada studi yang meneliti mengenai self-compassion dan resiliensi pada konteks bencana. Self-compassion diukur dengan menggunakan Self Compassion Scale-Short Form SC-SF , sementara resiliensi diukur dengan Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale CD-RISC . Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 115 warga Desa Puncu, Kec. Puncu, Kab. Kediri. Desa Puncu dipilih sebagai tempat pengambulan data karena merupakan salah satu desa yang terkena dampak terparah akibat erupsi Gunung Kelud 2014 lalu. Analisis regresi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion meningkatkan resiliensi pada penyintas erupsi Gunung Kelud.
This research was conducted to determine self compassion as a predictor for resilience among Kelud eruption survivor. Previous research have shown a link between self compassion and resilience, but there is no study yet about self compassion and resilience in disaster context. Self compassion is measured by Self Compassion Scale Short Form SC SF , while resilience is measured by Connor Davidson Resilience Scale CD RISC . Participants in this research are 115 people lived in Desa Puncu, Kec. Puncu, Kab. Kediri. Desa Puncu is chosen for data retrieval because it was one of the area that has the most severe impact from Kelud eruption. Linear regression statistical techniques showed that self compassion contribute to increase resilience among Kelud eruption survivor.

Para awardee program IISMA yang diharuskan untuk menjalani perkuliahan selama satu semester di host university sangat mungkin mengalami berbagai tantangan akademik yang berpotensi memunculkan kegagalan sehingga dibutuhkan kemampuan resiliensi akademik yang baik agar awardees dapat bangkit dan menunjukkan performa yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara self-compassion dan resiliensi akademik dengan perceived social support sebagai moderator. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner daring yang berisi tiga alat ukur (ARS-Indonesia, Self-compassion Scale (SCS), dan The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS)) kepada awardees program IISMA batch 1 dan 2. Hasil analisis data pada 157 partisipan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat korelasi positif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dan resiliensi akademik (r = .646 (p < .001) serta antara perceived social support dan resiliensi akademik (r = .311 (p < .001). Akan tetapi, perceived social support tidak dapat memoderatori hubungan antara self-compassion dan resiliensi akademik F(3,153) = 37.4749 p > .05. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam mengevaluasi program IISMA khususnya dari segi psikologis para awardee saat berada di host country. ......IISMA awardees who are required to attend lectures for one semester at the host university may encounter a variety of academic difficulties that could lead to failure. Therefore, awardees need strong academic resilience skills to overcome these difficulties in order to perform well. The aim of this study is to look at the relationship between self-compassion and academic resilience with perceived social support as the moderator. The study was conducted online by giving out questionnaires that include three measurement tools (ARS-Indonesia, Self-compassion Scale (SCS), The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to IISMA alumni from batch 1 and 2. The result from data analysis on 157 participants showed a positive significant correlation between self-compassion and academic resilience (r = .646 (p < .001) as well as between perceived social support and academic resilience (r = .311 (p < .001) ) However, perceived social support cannot moderate the relationship between self-compassion and academic resilience F(3,153) = 37.4749 p > .05. This study is expected to be useful as a reference in evaluating the IISMA program, specifically in terms of the psychological factors of the awardees during the study program in the host country.

Penelitian ini membahas nilai welas asih dalam lagu Kidung Gaza “Palestina” ciptaan Pancal15 yang dinyanyikan oleh Sindy Purbawati. Lagu Kidung Gaza “Palestina” merupakan lagu berbahasa Jawa yang dirilis pada 21 Mei 2021. Penelitian terhadap lirik lagu Kidung Gaza “Palestina” dilakukan untuk mengkaji makna yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu dan menjelaskan nilai welas asih dalam lagu Kidung Gaza “Palestina”. Tulisan ini dapat membantu pembaca memahami pesan yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu Kidung Gaza “Palestina”. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana nilai welas asih yang digambarkan dalam lagu dan makna apa saja yang terkandung dalam lirik lagu Kidung Gaza “Palestina”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teori semiotika Roland Barthes (1915-1980) yang mengembangkan dua tingkatan pertanda, yaitu tingkat denotasi dan konotasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna yang terkandung dalam tiap lirik lagu merupakan gambaran situasi yang terjadi di Gaza, Palestina dan nilai welas asih yang terdapat dalam lagu Kidung Gaza “Palestina” mengarah kepada doa dan harapan pengarang tehadap peristiwa yang terjadi di Gaza, Palestina. Kesimpulan berlandaskan hasil penelitian ini adalah lagu Kidung Gaza “Palestina” merupakan lagu yang menggambarkan situasi dan kondisi yang terjadi di Gaza, Palestina. Lagu ini juga merupakan bentuk dukungan dan harapan yang disampaikan pengarang terhadap warga Palestina agar masalah atau konflik yang terjadi segera berakhir. Nilai welas asih dari lagu ini diwujudkan dalam bentuk doa yang disampaikan pengarang kepada Tuhan sebagai entitas Ilahiah agar penderitaan rakyat Palestina segera berakhir dan mendapat kemerdekaan. ......This study discusses the value of welas asih in the song Kidung Gaza “Palestina” by Pancal15 sung by Sindy Purbawati. This paper can help readers understand the message contained in the lyrics of Kidung Gaza “Palestine”. The problem raised in this research is how the value of welas asih is described in the song and what meanings are contained in the lyrics of Kidung Gaza "Palestina". This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with the semiotic theory of Roland Barthes (1915-1980) which develops two levels of signs, namely the level of denotation and connotation. The results of this study indicate that the meaning contained in each song's lyrics is a description of the situation that occurs in Gaza, Palestine and the value of welas asih contained in the song Kidung Gaza "Palestina" leads to the author's prayers and hopes for the events that occurred in Gaza, Palestine. The conclusion based on the results of this study is that Kidung Gaza “Palestina” is a song that describes the situation and conditions that occur in Gaza, Palestine. This song is also a form of support and hope that the author conveys to the Palestinian people so that the problems or conflicts that occur will end soon. The welas asih value of this song is manifested in the form of a prayer that the author conveys to God as a divine entity so that the suffering of the Palestinian people will end soon and gain independence.

Di masa pandemi COVID-19, keluhan psikologis masyarakat meningkat, sehingga mengakibatkan peningkatan permintaan konsultasi dengan psikolog klinis. Padahal jumlah psikolog klinis di Indonesia sangat terbatas, sehingga peningkatan permintaan konsultasi psikologis tersebut berpotensi membuat psikolog klinis mengalami keletihan emosional pasca memberikan layanan psikologis kepada klien, yang disebut sebagai compassion fatigue. Berdasarkan literatur, beberapa faktor kepribadian memiliki peranan dalam kemunculan compassion fatigue. Di sisi lain, studi juga menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion dapat mempromosikan kesehatan mental di kalangan psikolog klinis. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat peran neurotisisme, perfeksionisme, dan self-compassion dalam kaitannya pada kemunculan gejala compassion fatigue di kalangan psikolog klinis. Alat ukur yang digunakan di antaranya Secondary Traumatic Stress Scale, dimensi emotional stability dari IPIP BFM – 50, Multidimentional Perfeksionisme Scale, dan Self-Compassion Scale - Short Form. Partisipan penelitian dihimpun melalui metode convenient sampling, dan pengisian data dilakukan dengan survei daring kepada psikolog klinis yang berpraktek selama pandemi Covid-19 (N=126). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dan moderasi pada Makro PROCESS dari Hayes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perfectionism dan neurotisisme secara bersama-sama memprediksi kemunculan gejala compassion fatigue di kalangan psikolog klinis. Sementara self-compassion tidak berperan sebagai moderator, baik dari hubungan perfeksionisme dengan compassion fatigue maupun hubungan neurotisisme dengan compassion fatigue. ......In Indonesia, during COVID-19 pandemic, psychological complaints are increasing, making demand for psychological consultation also increases. Meanwhile, number of clinical psychologists in Indonesia is very limited. This condition potentially make clinical psychologists experience emotional exhaustion after providing psychological services to clients, known as compassion fatigue. Previous studies show several personality factors are associated with the emergence of compassion fatigue. Another studies also show that self-compassion promote mental health for clinical psychologists. Therefore, this study aims to examine the role of neuroticism, perfectionism, and self-compassion in relation to the symptoms of compassion fatigue among clinical psychologists. Measuring instruments used in this research are Secondary Traumatic Stress Scale, emotional stability dimension of IPIP BFM – 50, Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, and Self-Compassion Scale - Short Form. Respondents collected through convenient sampling method, and data gathered via online survey from clinical psychologists who did psychological practices during Covid-19 pandemic (N=126). Data analysis performed using multiple regression analysis and moderation on the PROCESS Macro from Hayes. The results showed that perfectionism and neuroticism together predict symptoms of compassion fatigue among clinical psychologists. Meanwhile, self-compassion does not act as a moderator, both in relationship between perfectionism and compassion fatigue, and in relationship between neuroticism and compassion fatigue.

Masa dewasa awal yang ditandai dengan eksplorasi dan pembentukan identitas, sering kali melibatkan penggunaan aplikasi kencan seperti Bumble untuk memulai hubungan romantis. Terlepas dari niat untuk mengurangi rasa kesepian, penggunaan aplikasi ini secara tidak sengaja dapat memperburuk perasaan kesepian karena fenomena seperti ghosting dan breadcrumbing. Penelitian ini menyelidiki korelasi antara kesepian dan welas diri di antara individu dewasa awal yang menggunakan aplikasi kencan Bumble. Terdapat 160 partisipan berusia 18-29 tahun (M = 23.23, SD = 2.37) yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menggunakan Skala Kesepian UCLA (Versi 3) dan Skala Welas Diri (SWD). Temuan menunjukkan korelasi positif yang signifikan antara kesepian dan welas diri, dimana tingkat kesepian yang tinggi dikaitkan dengan tingkat welas diri yang tinggi. Secara spesifik, kesepian berkorelasi negatif terhadap komponen positif welas diri dan berkorelasi positif terhadap komponen negatif welas diri. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperluas wawasan pembaca dan menjadi pedoman untuk dewasa awal pengguna aplikasi kencan Bumble untuk memahami pentingnya peran welas diri sebagai faktor protektif terhadap kesepian. ......Emerging adulthood, characterized by exploration and identity formation, often involves using dating apps like Bumble to initiate romantic relationships. Despite the intention to reduce loneliness, using these apps can inadvertently exacerbate feelings of loneliness due to phenomena such as ghosting and breadcrumbing. This study investigates the correlation between loneliness and self-compassion among emerging adults using the Bumble dating app. There are 160 participants aged 18-29 years (M = 23.23, SD = 2.37) who participate in the study. The results are obtained using the UCLA Loneliness Scale (Version 3) and the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). The findings show a significant positive correlation between loneliness and self-compassion, where high levels of loneliness are associated with high levels of self-compassion. Specifically, loneliness negatively correlates with the positive components of self-compassion and positively correlates with the negative components of self-compassion. This study aims to broaden readers' understanding and serve as a guide for emerging adults using the Bumble dating app to recognize the importance of self-compassion as a protective factor against loneliness.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kontribusi self-compassion terhadap subjective well-being pada remaja panti asuhan di Jakarta. Salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi subjective well-being adalah tercapainya tujuan atau goal dan harapan Diener Scollon, 2003. Permasalahan di kehidupan panti asuhan menunjukkan kemungkinan tidak tercapainya tujuan dan harapan remaja saat mereka masuk ke panti asuhan. Saat tujuan dan harapan tersebut tidak tercapai, maka akan muncul emosi negatif yang dapat menurunkan subjective well-being Zessin, Dickhauser, Garbade, 2015. Self-compassion dapat mengurangi pengaruh emosi negatif yang ditimbulkan oleh kegagalan tersebut sehingga tingkat subjective well-being tetap baik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan jumlah partisipan 100 orang 51 perempuan berusia 14-18 tahun yang tinggal di panti asuhan di Jakarta. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Self-Compassion Scale Neff, 2003 untuk mengukur self-compassion, The Satisfaction with Life Scale Diener, Emmons, Larsen, Griffin, 1985, dan Positive and Negative Affect Schedule Watson, Clark, Tellegan, 1988 untuk mengukur subjective well-being. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion tidak berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan hidup R2 = 0.006, p =0.445, berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap afek positif R2= 0.091, p = 0.002 dan afek negatif R2= 0.155, p = 0.000 pada remaja panti asuhan di Jakarta.
This research was conducted to investigate the self compassions contribution to subjective well being among orphanage adolescents at Jakarta. The factor that could influence subjective well being are goals and expectations Diener Scollon, 2003 . The troubles that occur in daily life of orphanages show the possibility of goals and expectations which do not achieved. When one experienced failure on goal achievement, negative emotion would appear and lowered the subjective well being Zessin, Dickhauser Garbade, 2015. Self compassion could alleviate the negative emotional influence of failure, so the subjective well being stayed positive. There were 100 participants 51 female from orphanages at Jakarta aged 14 to 18 for this study. The data were collected using Self Compassion Scale Neff, 2003 to measure self compassion, The Satisfaction With Life Scale Diener, Emmons, Larsen, Griffin, 1985 and Positive Negative Affect Schedule Watson, Clark, Tellegan, 1988 to measure subjective well being. Result from this study indicated that self compassion does not significantly contribute to life satisfaction R2 0.006, p 0.445, significantly contributes to positive affect R2 0.091, p 0.002 and also to negative affect R2 0.155, p 0.000 of subjective well being among orphanage adolescents in Jakarta.

Mahasiswa baru Universitas Indonesia seringkali dihadapkan dengan berbagai tuntutan dan perubahan di lingkungan barunya sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan distres psikologis. Self-compassion merupakan sumber kekuatan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mahasiswa baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dan distres psikologis pada mahasiswa baru program sarjana Universitas Indonesia dan penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari payung penelitian distres psikologis, dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 393 mahasiswa baru Universitas Indonesia berusia 18-24 tahun. Variabel distres psikologis diukur dengan menggunakan Self Report Questionnaire 20 (SRQ-20), sedangkan variabel self-compassion diukur dengan menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale Short Form (SCS-SF). Hasil pengujian statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dan distres psikologispada mahasiswa baru program sarjana Universitas Indonesia r(393) = -.391, p < 0,01, one-tailed. Hal ini menunjukkan ketika self-compassion tinggi, maka tingkat distres psikologis yang dialami individu rendah. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kesadaran individu untuk menggunakan pendekatan self-compassion ketika dirinya memiliki kecenderungan untuk mengalami distres psikologis.
First-year student of University of Indonesia faced with various demands and transformation in their new environment, so that they can potentially raises psychological distress. Self-compassion is a source of strength that can be used to overcome various problems faced by first-year student. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-compassion and psychological distress in first-year undergraduate student of University of Indonesia and part of psychological distress research with correlational study design. The research participants consisted of 393 first-year undergraduate student of University of Indonesia aged 18-24 years. Psychological distress variables are measured using Self Report Questionnaire 20 (SRQ-20), while the self-compassion variable is measured using the Self-Compassion Scale Short Form (SCS-SF). The results of statistical tests show that there is a significant negative relationship between self-compassion and psychological distress among first-year student of University of Indonesia r (393) = -.391, p <0.01, one-tailed, means that as self-compassion level increased, psychological distress may decreased. The results of this study are expected to increase individual awareness to use the self-compassion approach when they tend to experience psychological distress.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dan social withdrawal pada dewasa muda penyintas perundungan. Partisipan merupakan dewasa muda (18-25 tahun) yang pernah menjadi korban dari perundungan ketika masa SMP dan/atau SMA. Alat ukur Multidimensional Offline and Online Peer Victimization Scale (MOOPVS) digunakan untuk mengetahui pengalaman perundungan partisipan dan juga sebagai alat pembuat kategori pengalaman perundungan. Data yang diperoleh secara keseluruhan berjumlah 805 namun hanya 546 data partisipan dengan skor MOOPVS menengah hingga tinggi yang akan diolah untuk hasil utama penelitian ini. Self-compassion diukur menggunakan menggunakan Self Compassion Scale-Short Form (SCS-SF) dan social withdrawal diukur menggunakan Emerging Adult Social Preference Scale-revised yang diadaptasi sesuai kebutuhan penelitian ini. Hasil temuan menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan yang bersifat negatif antara self-compassion dan social withdrawal pada dewasa muda penyintas perundungan.
