"Pustakawan referensi merupakan seorang pustakawan yang memiliki tugas untuk memberikan bantuan kepada pemustaka dalam menelusur sebuah informasi dalam berbagai subjek. Salah satu jenis pemustaka yang mereka layani di lingkungan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi ialah dosen sebagai aktor utama dalam ekosistem perkuliahan di kampus. Dosen diharuskan untuk memiliki sebuah publikasi karya ilmiah untuk menunjang profesi mereka serta dapat menciptakan sebuah pengetahuan baru. Dalam penulisan karya ilmiah dosen, seorang pustakawan referensi memberikan sebuah layanan penelusuran informasi yang menjadi bagian dari sebuah proses komunikasi ilmiah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus yang mengambil lokasi penelitian di Universitas Negeri Malang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana peran pustakawan dalam komunikasi ilmiah untuk menunjang produktivitas karya ilmiah dosen. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan analisis dokumen yang dilakukan mulai bulan Juli hingga November 2024. Observasi dilakukan secara langsung untuk melihat interaksi yang terjadi antara pustakawan dengan dosen. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap tiga orang dosen Universitas Negeri Malang dan satu orang pustakawan referensi di Perpustakaan Universitas Negeri Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran pustakawan pada sub dimensi product lebih menonjol karena, komunikasi antara pustakawan dan dosen terjadi ketika dosen sedang membutuhkan bantuan untuk mengakses e-journal milik perpustakaan serta pustakawan berperan sebagai seseorang yang dapat mencegah adanya pelanggaran hak cipta suatu karya ilmiah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa peran pustakawan dalam sebuah proses komunikasi ilmiah hanya terlihat pada sub dimensi property dan problem. Hal ini terjadi karena dosen menganggap pustakawan hanya bekerja secara adminitratif dan merasa bahwa dosen tidak percaya kepada pustakawan untuk melakukan kolaborasi karena, dosen merasa mereka yang paling menguasai dan mengetahui ilmu di bidangnya.

A reference librarian is a librarian who has the task of providing assistance to users in searching for information in various subjects. One of the types of users they serve in the university library environment is lecturers as the main actors in the lecture ecosystem on campus. Lecturers are required to have a scientific publication to support their profession and create new knowledge. In writing scientific papers, a reference librarian provides information search services that are part of a scholarly communication process. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach that takes place at the State University of Malang. The purpose of this research is to describe how the role of librarians in scientific communication to support the productivity of lecturers' scientific work. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews and document analysis conducted from July to November 2024. Observation was done directly to see the interaction that occurs between librarians and lecturers. Interviews were conducted with three Malang State University lecturers and one reference librarian at Malang State University Library. The results showed that the role of librarians in the product sub-dimension is more prominent because, communication between librarians and lecturers occurs when lecturers need help accessing e-journals owned by the library and librarians act as someone who can prevent copyright infringement of a scientific work. The conclusion of this study explains that the role of librarians in a scientific communication process is only seen in the property and problem sub dimensions. This happens because lecturers think that librarians only work administratively and feel that lecturers do not trust librarians to collaborate because, lecturers feel that they have the most expertise and knowledge in their field."

"Scholarly communication and academic environment are interelated and interdependent to each other. Academic environment is where scholars consisting of faculty members, researchers and student meet. They produce most of scholarly writing and access to scholay resources as their references. They are both author and reader components. In library perspective, they are users. Libraries in academic environment will function well in the support of information technology. Information technology supports scholarly communication as well. Internet, if you like, has provided a significant support on scholarly communication process. Access to scientific writings in any formats is easier and faster using internet than other tools. Searching current articles and sending email to authors can be done directly in second. It is clear that the use of information technology is a must in supporting scholarly communication. Library as an established institution that has long supported scholarly communication needs continues reformation. Sustainable action of reform to scholarly communications have to be done. There are many factors to be paid attention to such as university policies; partnership between library and working units in university; involvement of civitas academica; use of handbook; information library sites; human resources development."

"Era globalisasi yang memberikan dampak besar pada bidang industri dan organisasi, termasuk perguruan tinggi. Era globalisasi mendorong organisasi untuk terus memaksimalkan aset yang dimiliki guna dapat berkembang dan bertahan. Salah satu aset yang dimiliki oleh organisasi adalah pengetahuan yang ada pada tiap individu sebagai angota organisasi. Oleh karena itu penting bagi perguruan tinggi untuk mengelola pengetahuan antara lain melalui perilaku berbagi pengetahuan.
Faktor individu dinilai dapat mempengaruhi bagaimana perilaku berbagi pengetahuan pada dosen perguruan tinggi. Faktor individu tersebut diantaranya adalah kepercayaan interpersonal dan persepsi terhadap iklim psikologis. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 289 dosen dari beberapa perguruan tinggi di Indonesia melalui kuesioner online.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim psikologis diketahui memprediksi secara positif dan signifikan kepercayaan interpersonal. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa kepercayaan interpersonal memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara iklim psikologis dan kegiatan berbagi pengetahuan pada dosen perguruan tinggi.

The globalization era has a profound impact on industry and organizations, including higher education organizations. Globalization era encourages organizations to continue maximize their assets to grow and survive. One of the assets owned by the organization is knowledge that exists for each individual as an organizational member. It is important for higher education organizations to manage their knowledge.
Individual factors assessed can affect how knowledge sharing on higher education lecturer. The individual factors including interpersonal trust and the perception of psychological climate. This research was conducted on 289 lecturers from several higher education organizations in Indonesia through an online questionnaire.
The results showed that psychological climate are known predict positive and significantly against interpersonal trust. In addition, interpersonal trust found partially mediated the relationship between psychological climate and knowledge sharing in higher education lecturer.

"Upaya meningkatkan kinerja penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah di Universitas Terbuka (UT) masih menjadi tantangan. Berbagai persoalan masih sering dihadapi dan menjadi faktor penghambat, salah satunya adalah kurangnya kompetensi dosen. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan UT untuk meningkatkan kompetensi penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah dosen adalah melalui program pelatihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis desain program pelatihan dalam mengembangkan kompetensi penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah dosen di UT dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan post-positivisme dengan metode pengumpulan data kualitatif dan bersifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses perancangan pelatihan dalam mengembangkan kompetensi penelitian dan publikasi ilmiah dosen di UT belum dilakukan secara optimal, khususnya pada tahap analisis kebutuhan, memastikan kesiapan peserta, transfer of training, dan evaluasi pelatihan. Tahap analisis kebutuhan pelatihan belum dilakukan secara komprehensif, dimana analisis kebutuhan belum didasarkan atas kesenjangan kinerja dan kesenjangan kompetensi yang terjadi. Disamping itu, UT juga belum mengembangkan model, kamus, dan metode pengukuran kompetensi dalam bidang penelitian dan publikasi. Dalam memastikan kesiapan peserta, belum ada penilaian secara khusus yang dilakukan untuk memastikan sejauhmana motivasi dan kemampuan dasar yang dimiliki sebagai prasyarat agar mereka bisa berhasil atau tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam pelatihan. Upaya mencapai keberhasilan transfer of training terkendala oleh kompleksitas dan beban kerja dosen yang cukup tinggi. Selain berkewajiban menjalankan fungsi tridharma perguruan tinggi, para dosen UT juga terbebani dengan pekerjaan administrasi akademik yang cukup banyak. Tahap evaluasi pelatihan belum dilakukan secara mendalam dan menyeluruh. Tidak ada model evaluasi tertentu yang sepenuhnya digunakan untuk mengevaluasi program pelatihan, seperti model empat tahap Kirkpatrick atau model CIPP. Evaluasi hanya mengukur level reaksi peserta saat mengikuti pelatihan dan mengukur ketercapaian target program pelatihan. Adapun, beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi proses perancangan (desain) pelatihan di UT, yaitu: 1) dukungan dan komitmen penuh dari pimpinan UT, dibuktikan dengan besarnya alokasi pendanaan kegiatan pelatihan dan pengembangan; 2) kompleksitas pekerjaan dan tingginya beban kerja dosen UT membuat para dosen tidak memiliki focus dan waktu yang cukup untuk menerapkan hasil pelatihan (transfer of training) dalam kegiatan penelitian dan publikasi; 3) Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah mendorong dosen untuk mempelajari aplikasi-aplikasi perangkat lunak pendukung kegiatan penelitian dan publikasi serta mendukung UT dalam menggunakan metode blended learning; 4) kesesuaian gaya belajar individu dengan metode pelatihan yang digunakan, mempengaruhi sejauhmana tingkat penerimaan materi pelatihan; 5) kebijakan rekrutmen dan pengembangan dosen di masa awal pendirian UT yang kurang selaras dengan kebutuhan program studi membuat para dosen memerlukan intervensi pelatihan dan pengembangan yang tepat dan efektif; 6) penerapan penilaian kinerja dosen yang cenderung toleran, membuatnya tidak dapat dijadikan dasar untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan kinerja dan kesenjangan kompetensi yang sebenarnya terjadi.

Efforts to improve the performance of research and scientific publications at the Open University (UT) are still a challenge. Various problems are still often faced and become an inhibiting factor, one of which is the lack of lecturer competence. One of the efforts taken by UT to improve the competence of lecturers' research and scientific publications is through training programs. This study aims to analyze the design of training programs in developing research competencies and scientific publications of lecturers at UT and the factors that influence them. This study uses a post-positivism approach with qualitative data collection methods and is descriptive research. The results showed that the process of designing training in developing research competencies and scientific publications for lecturers at UT has not been carried out optimally, especially at the stage of needs analysis, ensuring participant readiness, transfer of training, and training evaluation. The training needs analysis stage has not been carried out comprehensively, where the needs analysis has not been based on the performance gaps and competency gaps that occur. In addition, UT has not yet developed models, dictionaries, and methods for measuring competence in the field of research and publication. In ensuring the readiness of participants, no specific assessment has been carried out to ascertain the extent of the motivation and basic abilities possessed as prerequisites so that they can succeed or not experience difficulties in training. Efforts to achieve successful transfer of training are constrained by the complexity and high workload of lecturers. In addition to being obliged to carry out the tridharma function of higher education, UT lecturers are also burdened with quite a lot of academic administrative work. The training evaluation stage has not been carried out in-depth and comprehensively. There is no specific evaluation model that is fully used to evaluate training programs, such as the model of Kirkpatrick four-level or the CIPP model. Evaluation only measures the reaction level of participants when participating in the training and measures the achievement of the training program targets. Meanwhile, the factors that influence the training design process at UT are: 1) full support and commitment from the leadership of UT, as evidenced by the large allocation of funding for training and development activities; 2) the complexity of the work and the high workload of UT lecturers make lecturers not have enough time to apply the results of the training (transfer of training) in research and publication activities; 3) The development of information and communication technology has encouraged lecturers to study software applications to support research and publication activities and to support UT in using blended learning methods; 4) the suitability of individual learning styles with the training methods used, affects the level of acceptance of training materials; 5) the policy of recruitment and development of lecturers in the early days of the establishment of UT that was not in line with the needs of the study program made lecturers need appropriate and effective training and development interventions; 6) the implementation of performance appraisal of lecturers who tend to be tolerant, making it unable to be used as a basis for identifying performance gaps and competency gaps that actually occur."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tentang penilaian pemustaka terhadap kegiatan komunikasi antar pribadi pustakawan dengan pemustaka dan ingin mengetahui korelasi dari kegiatan ini terhadap kepuasan pemustaka Perpustakaan Umum Freedom. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode survey. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui kuesioner. Dari hasil kolerasi di dapatkan skor sebesar 0.412 komunikasi antar pribadi yang dilakukan pustakawan kepada pemustaka mempunyai keterkaitan dengan kepuasan pemustaka . Dengan demikian hubungan antara variabel termasuk cukup kuat, artinya bila penggunan komunikasi antar pribadi ditingkatkan atau dipergunakan secara baik maka akan diikuti dengan kepuasan pemustaka Perpustakaan Umum Freedom.

This study aims to determine the correlation of the assessment user interpersonal communication activities with librarian and want to know correlation of these activities to the user?s satisfaction Freedom Public Library. The study uses a quantitative approach, with a survey method. While the technique of data collection through questionnaires. From the correlation results in a score of 0.412 get the interpersonal communication that do librarians to user user satisfication is linked with satisfaction. Thus the relationship between variables including strong enough, meaning that if the use of interpersonal communication improved or used properly it will be followed by user?s satisfaction Freedom Public Library."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai persepsi pengguna terhadap kompetensi komunikasi yang dimiliki oleh pustakawan pada layanan sirkulasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan sifat deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa persepsi pengguna terhadap kompetensi komunikasi pustakawan layanan sirkulasi di Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia adalah negatif. Diharapkan pihak Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia mempertimbangkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi pustakawannya dengan memberikan pelatihan-pelatihan di bidang komunikasi ataupun kebijakan-kebijakan yang dapat membantu pustakawan dalam memperbaiki kualitas layanan khususnya dalam berkomunikasi dengan pengguna.

This study discusses about the user's perception of communication competence in circulation services librarian at the Library of the University of Indonesia. This research is descriptive quantitative approach. These results generally indicate that the user perception of communication competence circulation services librarian at the Library of the University of Indonesia is negative. It is expected that the Indonesian University Library librarians consider upgrading communication by providing training on interpersonal communication or policies that can assist librarians to improving the quality of services, especially in communicating with users."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana peran growth mindset dalam memprediksi Praktik Universal Design for Learning (UDL) pada Dosen di Perguruan Tinggi Indonesia. Penelitian melibatkan 250 partisipan yang berprofesi sebagai dosen di Perguruan Tinggi Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini, partisipan mengisi kuesioner yang berisi dua alat ukur, yaitu DI-Quest pada skala growth mindset untuk mengukur growth mindset, dan Inclusive Teaching Strategies Inventory (ITSI) untuk mengukur praktik UDL. Untuk menguji hipotesis, analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear sederhana. Namun, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa growth mindset tidak terbukti memprediksi Praktik UDL pada Dosen di Perguruan Tinggi Indonesia (R2 = .000, F(1, 249)= .078, p= .781). Dari hasil penelitian ini, terdapat sumbangan temuan untuk menambah wawasan dan informasi mengenai pendidikan inklusif di pendidikan tinggi Indonesia.

This research aims to understand the role of growth mindset in predicting Universal Design for Learning (UDL) practices among Faculty Members in Indonesian Universities. The study involved 250 participants who work as lecturers at Indonesian Universities. In this study, participants filled out a questionnaire containing two measuring tools, namely the DI-Quest on the mindset scale to measure growth mindset, and the Inclusive Teaching Strategies Inventory (ITSI) to measure UDL practices. As for the analysis, the author used Simple Linear Regression to test the hypothesis. However, the result showed that the growth mindset is not proven to predict UDL practices among college lecturers in Indonesian Universities (R2 = .000, F(1, 249)= .078, p= .781). From this result, the findings can contribute to increasing insight and information regarding inclusive education in Indonesia higher education."
