"The main purpose of the article is to increase understanding in some personal characteristics affecting creative performance among Indonesian radio station manager's leadership context. Using creativity-relevant personal characteristics and motivation as input model, the authors identified that both of these two variables are positively related to creative performance. The study hypothesized that Leader-member exchange (LMX) moderate the relationship between personal characteristics and creative performance. Among a sample of 283 Indonesian radio station managers, results found that creativity-relevant personal characteristics and intrinsic motivation were positively related to creative performance when managers perception of followers work contribution toward them (as the second dimensions of LMX) was high."

"Penelitian sebelumnya menemukan korelasi kecil pada  hubungan antara kepribadian proaktif dan kreativitas karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peran mediasi perilaku menyuarakan pendapat dalam hubungan antara kepribadian proaktif dan kreativitas karyawan berdasarkan pendekatan trait activation theory. Survei dilakukan terhadap 289 karyawan dan 24 supervisor yang bekerja di divisi marketing dari 7 organisasi (manufaktur, perbankan, layanan fasilitas, dan ritel) di Indonesia. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan self-report untuk variabel prediktor dan supervisor-rating untuk variabel kriterion. Analisis mediasi sederhana menggunakan macro PROCESS dari Hayes pada program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efek utama dari kepribadian proaktif pada kreativitas tidak signifikan. Selanjutnya, perilaku suara secara signifikan memediasi hubungan antara kepribadian proaktif dan kreativitas karyawan. Efek tidak langsung dari kepribadian proaktif pada kreativitas melalui perilaku suara signifikan. Implikasi teoretis dan praktis dari studi ini dibahas lebih lanjut.

Previous research found small correlation on the relationship between  proactive personality and employee creativity. The present study aims to investigate the mediating role of voice behavior in the relationship between proactive personality and employee creativity based on trait activation theoretical approach. A survey was conducted on 289 employees and 24 supervisors who were working in marketing division from 7 organizations (manufacture, banking, service facility, and retail) in Indonesia. The simple mediation analysis used Hayes PROCESS macro on SPSS program. The results revealed that main effect of proactive personality on creativity was nonsignificant. Furthermore, voice behavior significantly mediated the relationship between proactive personality and employee creativity as the indirect effect of proactive personality on creativity via voice behavior was significant. Theoretical and practical implications of the study are discussed."

"Penelitian terdahulu menemukan hasil yang tidak konsisten terhadap hubungan proaktivitas dan kreativitas. Penelitian terdahulu juga menunjukkan terdapat interaksi antara faktor individual dan lingkungan akan memengaruhi hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat interaksi faktor individual yaitu proaktivitas dan perilaku pencarian umpan balik serta faktor lingkungan yaitu umpan balik tugas dalam mempengaruhi kreativitas dengan menggunakan teori impression management sebagai kerangka teori. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dari karyawan pemasaran dari tujuh perusahaan di Indonesia (N = 256) dan dianalisis menggunakan PROCESS SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku pencarian umpan balik berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan proaktivitas dan kreativitas karyawan dan umpan balik positif berperan sebagai moderator dalam hubungan proaktivitas dan perilaku pencarian umpan balik. Namun, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umpan balik positif dan negatif tidak berperan sebagai moderator pada efek tidak langsung proaktivitas pada kreativitas melalui perilaku pencarian umpan balik.

Previous research found inconsistent results on the relationship between proactivity and creativity. Previous research also showed that the interaction between individual and environmental factors determined Employee creativity. Thus, the current research aimed to investigate the interaction effect between individual factor, namely proactivity and feedback-seeking behaviour, and environmental factor, namely task feedback, on employee creativity. Impression Management Theory was employed as the framework theory. Data were collected using paper-and-pencil survey from seven companies in Indonesia (N = 256). Data were analysed using Hayes' PROCESS macro on SPSS.
The results indicated that feedback-seeking behavior mediated the relationship between proactivity and creativity. Moreover, positive task feedback moderated the relationship between proactivity and feedback-seeking behavior. However, task feedback did not moderate the indirect effect of proactivity and creativity through feedback-seeking behavior. Theoretical and practical implications were further discussed.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya efek mediasi kepribadian proaktif dalam pengaruh kecerdasan emosi terhadap efikasi diri keputusan karier siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Siswa SMK diketahui mengalami kesulitan dalam membuat keputusan karier di akhir masa studinya, padahal mereka telah menentukan kejuruan mereka sejak memasuki SMK. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah siswa kurang memiliki efikasi diri keputusan karier. Untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut, efikasi diri keputusan karier siswa perlu ditingkatkan melalui faktor lain yang memengaruhinya, seperti kecerdasan emosi. Kepribadian proaktif dipilih sebagai variabel mediator. Studi kuantitatif ini dilakukan terhadap 833 orang siswa SMK kelas 12 di sembilan sekolah wilayah Depok dan Jakarta Selatan, dengan menggunakan metode non-probability sampling jenis accidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (CDSES-SF), Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire-Short Form (TEIQue-SF), serta Proactive Personality Scale (PPS), dengan masing-masing alat ukur memiliki reliabilitas > 0,7. Analisis mediasi dilakukan menggunakan PROCESS oleh Hayes, dengan hasil kepribadian proaktif mampu memediasi pengaruh kecerdasan emosi terhadap efikasi diri keputusan karier secara partial (ab = 0,10, c' = 0,12, p<0,01). Hasil studi ini dapat digunakan pada program intervensi untuk meningkatkan efikasi diri keputusan karier siswa, dengan memperhatikan faktor kecerdasan emosi dan kepribadian proaktif pada siswa.

ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to examine proactive personality as mediator in the influence of emotional intelligence on vocational high school student's career decision self efficacy. Vocational high school students are known to have difficulty in making career decisions because they have lack on career decision self-efficacy. To overcome this, students career decision self-efficacy needs to be improved through other factors, such as emotional intelligence. Proactive personality chosen as a mediator variable. This quantitative study was conducted on 833 vocational high school students from Depok and Jakarta Selatan, and were recruited using non-probability sampling method with the type of accidental sampling. The measuring instruments are Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (CDSES-SF), Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire-Short Form (TEIQue-SF), and Proactive Personality Scale (PPS), with a reliability of > 0.7. Mediation analysis was used as the data analysis technique, using PROCESS by Hayes. The results showed that proactive personality was partially mediate the effect of emotional intelligence on career decision self efficacy (ab = 0.10, c' = 0.12, p <0.01). The results of this study can be used in intervention programs to improve students career decision self-efficacy, taking into account emotional intelligence and proactive personality factors in students."

"At the same time he emphasized the 'appalling neglect' of the study of creativity by psychologists. Examining the index of the Psychological Abstracts since its origin, he found that of the approximately 121.000 titles listed in 23 years, only 186 were indexed as definitely bearing on the subject of creativity. The major interest in the creativity disposition and the recognition of its importance for knowledge came from the fields outside of psychology. Large industries recognized the enormous value of new ideas. Various branches of the government are asking for individuals who have inventive potentialities. These needs have found psychology ill prepared.
One of the major conceptual blocks for the study of creativity has been the conception of creativity as an inherited property of the genius (Razik 1967): 'Assumebly ... creativity is where one finds it, and little can be done through education to affect it' (p. 301). Another conceptual block for the 'creativity movement' centered in the measurement instruments commonly used in the schools: the traditional intelligence tests to assess the capacity of students for learning and the achievement tests to judge the progress students make on their way through the school program. Both intelligence and achievement tests were mostly limited to tasks for which there were single, predetermined 'right' answers (convergent thinking). "

"Karyawan pelayanan jasa yang kreatif berperan penting dalam menampilkan kemampuan organisasi. Berbagai penelitian berhasil menginvestigasi antiseden dari kreativitas karyawan pelayanan jasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh faktor-faktor kontekstual pekerjaan yang meliputi kompleksitas pekerjaan dan hubungan dengan atasan, rekan kerja dan pelanggan, dengan kreativitas karyawan, dengan konflik dan ambiguitas peran serta motivasi intrinsik sebagai mediator.
Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa hubungan dengan rekan kerja berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap ambiguitas peran (role ambiguity). Sementara variabel-variabel lain tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan kreativitas karyawan. Hal ini dapat disebabkan karena penelitian dilakukan di sebuah perusahaan perbankan yang memiliki karakteristik highly regulated, di mana selalu terdapat pembatasan-pembatasan berupa aturan-aturan untuk melindungi kepentingan nasabah serta untuk menjaga stabilitas sistem keuangan. Aturan-aturan inilah yang justru membatasi karyawan Bank dalam menggunakan kreativitasnya.

Creative service employees may be crucial in ensuring organizational performance. However, scant research has investigated the antecedents of service employee creativity. This study aims to analyze the influence of contextual factors include job complexity and job relationships with supervisor, co-workers and customers, with the creativity of employees, with conflict and role ambiguity, and intrinsic motivation as a mediator.
This study found that the relationship with co-workers in a positive and significant effect on role ambiguity. While other variables have no significant relationship with employee creativity. It can be caused due to the research carried out in a banking company that has the characteristics of "highly regulated", where there are always limitations in the form of rules to protect customers' interests and to maintain the stability of the financial system. The rules is what actually limits the Bank's employees in using creativity.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh peningkatan kualitas leadermember exchange terhadap perilaku inovatif pada karyawan kantor pusat PT BB melalui pemberian pelatihan coaching pada atasan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT BB, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri mining. Responden penelitian ini adalah 46 orang karyawan level staf. Pengukuran perilaku inovatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan alat ukur Innovative Work Behaviour dari Janssen (2000), sedangkan leader-member exchange diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur LMX-M dari Wu (2009). Pengolahan data awal menjelaskan bahwa leader-member exchange secara signifikan mempengaruhi perilaku inovatif (r2 = 0.422) dengan dimensi affect dan exchange sebagai dua dimensi yang memiliki kontribusi terbesar.
Berdasarkan pengolahan data awal, ditentukan intervensi yang dilakukan adalah intervensi pelatihan coaching pada atasan. Responden intervensi adalah 4 orang atasan langsung dari karyawan yang memiliki skor leader-member exchange dan perilaku inovatif dalam kategori rendah. Efektifitas intervensi diukur melalui evaluasi reaksi, pembelajaran, dan tingkah laku. Pengukuran posttest dilakukan 8 hari setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan kepada 6 orang bawahan dari atasan yang mengikuti pelatihan. Hasilnya terdapat peningkatan skor leadermember exchange yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah pelaksanaan pelatihan (Z= -2,041, p =0.041). Namun demikian, tidak terdapat peningkatan skor perilaku inovatif yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah atasan diberikan pelatihan (Z= -1,095, p = 0.273).

This research aims to determine the influence of leader-member exchange enhancement on innovative behavior in PT BB's employee by providing coaching training for supervisor. This research was conducted at PT BB, a mining company. Respondents were 46 employees from staff level. Innovative behavior was measured using innovative work behavior scale by Janssen (2000), whereas leader-member exchange was measured using LMX-M scale by Wu (2009). Pretest data showed that leader-member exchange influences innovative behavior significantly (r2=0.422), furthermore affect and exchange found to have the biggest contribution.
Based on the result, researcher design a coaching training for supervisor as an intervention to enhance leader-member exchange so it predicts to enhace innovative behavior too. Intervention gived to 4 supervisor whom their subordinate had low score on leader-member exchange and innovative behavior. Effectivity of coaching training was measured by evaluate the reaction, learning, and behavior changing. Post-test was measured to 6 subordinates, 8 days after the intervention. The result showed there was significant improvement on leadermember exchange score after the intervention (Z = -2,041, p =0.041). For instance, there was not significant improvement on innovative behavior (Z = -1,095, p = 0.273).

"Pada era globalisasi, persaingan peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia antar negara semakin ketat. Pendidikan formal sampai saat ini masih menjadi sarana utama terwujudnya bangsa mandiri yang memiliki daya saing tinggi. Salah satu bentuk dari pendidikan formal adalah universitas. Berhubungan dengan ini, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Creative Self-Efficacy CSE, motivasi intrinsik, dan prestasi akademik pada mahasiswa. Creative self-efficacy memiliki dua dimensi yaitu, Creative Thinking Self-Efficacy CTSE, dan Creative Performance Self-Efficacy CPSE. Pengukuran CSE menggunakan alat ukur Revised Model of CTSE II and CPSE II Abbot, 2010. Pengukuran motivasi intrinsik menggunakan Academic Motivation Scale khususnya pada dimensi motivasi intrinsik yang dikembangkan oleh Vallerand dan Bissonnette 1992, serta prestasi akademik dilihat melalui indeks prestasi kumulatif IPK pada mahasiswa. Responden penelitian berjumlah 245 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Dari hasil uji statistik Pearson Correlation membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif signifikan antara motivasi intrinsik dan prestasi akademik r=0,199.

In the era of globalization, the competition among countries to improve the quality of its human resource seems to be more competitive. Until now, formal education is still the main source for the realization of an independent nation with high competitiveness. One form of a formal education is university. Correspondingly, this present study was conducted to examine the relationship between creative self efficacy CSE, intrinsic motivation, and academic achievement in college students. There are two dimensions of CSE, which include Creative Thinking Self Efficacy CTSE and Creative Performance Self Efficacy CPSE. To measure CSE, the Revised Model of CTSE II and CPSE II instrument was used Abbot, 2010. To measure intrinsic motivation, Academic Motivation Scale particularly in the dimension of intrinsic motivation developed by Vallerand dan Bissonnette 1992 was used, and academic achievement was measured using grade point average GPA. The study participants consisted of 245 college students enrolled in Universitas Indonesia. Pearson Correlation analysis revealed that there is a significant positive correlation between intrinsic motivation and academic achievement r 0,199."

"Ruang kreatif personal merupakan ruang yang dirancang untuk memfasilitasi penggunanya dalam berpikir dan bekerja kreatif secara individual. Salah satu caranya adalah dengan memberikan stimulasi visual spasial yang merangsang proses kreatif pada penggunanya. Dalam kajian ini saya ingin mengkaji dan memaparkan mengenai pemahaman bagaimana stimulasi visual spasial pada ruang kreatif personal bekerja. Oleh karena itu, saya mencoba untuk melihat keterhubungan dan pengaruh stimulasi visual spasial dan proses kreatif yang ada di dalamnya. Penulisan skripsi ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dan didukung dengan studi kasus kualitatif. Hasil penulisan ini menjelaskan bahwa pertama, visual spasial dapat menstimulasi pengguna dalam merangsang kreatifitasnya pada ruang kreatif personal. Kedua, stimulasi visual spasial pada ruang kreatif dapat dibagi menjadi dua jenis, yaitu referensial dan non referensial. Ketiga, melalui studi kasus dan didukung oleh sumber literatur dapat dipelajari jika intensitas waktu, posisi dan komposisi ruangan mempengaruhi stimulasi visual spasial pengguna, dimana stimulasi ini bersifat subjektif.

Personal creative space is a space designed to facilitate its users in thinking and working creatively individually. One way is to provide spatial visual stimulation that stimulates the creative process of its users. In this study I would like to examine and explain the understanding of how spatial visual stimulation in personal creative spaces works. Therefore, I try to see the connection and influence of spatial visual stimulation and the creative process in it. This thesis writing uses a descriptive design and is supported by qualitative case studies. The results of this paper explain that first, spatial visuals can stimulate users in stimulating their creativity in personal creative spaces. Second, spatial visual stimulation in creative space can be divided into two types, namely referential and non-referential. Third, through case studies and supported by literature sources, it can be learned that the intensity of time, position and composition of the room affect the user's spatial visual stimulation, where this stimulation is subjective."
