"Skripsi ini mengadopsi dari penelitian yang pernah dilakukan oleh peneliti di Nigeria. Tujuan utama dari skripsi ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah pengaruh performance appraisal dan career planning yang telah dilakukan PT Lasallefood Indonesia terhadap komitmen organisasional yang dirasakan karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel yang berasal dari divisi produksi PT Lasallefood Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam skripsi ini adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa performance appraisal memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasional. Sedangkan untuk career planning, variabel ini tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasi. Hasil penelitian ini hanya berlaku pada divisi produksi PT Lasallefood Indonesia dan tidak dapat digeneralisasikan.

This thesis is adopted from the study conducted by researchers in Nigeria. The main objective of this thesis is to investigate are the effects of performance appraisal and career planning toward organizational commitment of employee in PT Lasallefood Indonesia. This study used a sample from the production division of PT Lasallefood Indonesia. The method used in this research is a multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that the performance appraisal has a positive effect on organizational commitment. As for the career planning, this variable does not have a positive effect on organizational commitment. The results of this study only apply to the production division of PT Lasallefood Indonesia and can not be generalized."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengembangan karier terhadap komitmen organisasional pada PT XYZ (Kantor Pusat). Pengembangan karier diukur berdasarkan teori Weng (2010) dan komitmen organisasional diukur menggunakan teori Allen & Meyer (1997). Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey yang menggunakan teknik total sampling, yaitu sebanyak 65 responden pegawai PT XYZ (Kantor Pusat). Analisis kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dengan bantuan program aplikasi SPSS versi 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karier memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional pada PT XYZ (Kantor Pusat).

This study aimed to examine the influence of career development towards organizational commitment at PT XYZ (Head Office). Career development is measured based on the theory of Weng (2010) and organizational commitment is measured based on the theory of Allen & Meyer (1997). This study used quantitative approach with survey method that used total sampling technique which held to 65 respondents employee of PT XYZ (Head Office). The data were analyzed by using simple regression method which assisted by application program SPSS version 21.0. The result of this study showed that career growth had a positive and significant impact to organizational commitment at PT XYZ (Head Office).

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pertumbuhan karir yang terdiri dari empat dimensi (kemajuan tujuan karir, perkembangan kemampuan profesional, kecepatan promosi, dan pertumbuhan remunerasi) terhadap komitmen organisasional yang terdiri dari tiga dimensi (komitmen afektif, komitmen kontinuan, dan komitmen normatif) dan kepuasan kerja. Bagi variabel kepuasan kerja sendiri pada penelitian ini juga digunakan sebagai variabel mediasi. Data penelitian didapatkan dari 183 karyawan yang bekerja di empat kantor akuntan publik di daerah DKI Jakarta. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan regresi linear berganda pada SPSS 17.0.
Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemajuan tujuan karir berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap ketiga dimensi komitmen organisasional dan kepuasan kerja. Perkembangan kemampuan profesional berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap komitmen afektif dan komitmen normatif. Kecepatan promosi berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap komitmen afektif dan pertumbuhan remunerasi berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, kepuasan kerja memediasi secara parsial hubungan pengaruh kemajuan tujuan karir terhadap komitmen afektif dan pertumbuhan karir terhadap komitmen organisasional.
Implikasi penelitian ini adalah bahwa kemajuan tujuan karir sangat diperhitungkan oleh para karyawan kantor akuntan publik hingga mampu mempengaruhi komitmen organisasional dan kepuasan kerja mereka. Peran aktif perlu dilakukan oleh kantor akuntan publik untuk meningkatkan komitmen organisasional dan kepuasan kerja karyawan yang tidak terlalu tinggi.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pemanfaatan hasil Penilaian Kinerja terhadap Pengembangan Karir. Penelitian sebelumnya telah dilakukan yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil Penelitian Kinerja digunakan untuk beberapa kegiatan Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia diantaranya adalah untuk pengembangan Karir. Disamping itu, penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adakah perbedaan pemanfaatan hasil Penilaian Kinerja terhadap Pengembangan Karir antara Badan Usaha Mlik Negara (BUMN) dan Badan Usaha Swasta. Sebagai kasus telah diambil sebagai obyek penelitian yaitu PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero)--disingkat Asuransi Jasindo dan PT. Asuransi Bintang Tbk--disingkat Asuransi Bintang.
Data yang digunakan untuk variabel Penilaian Kinerja adalah faktor penilaian pada Asuransi Jasindo, faktor penilaian yang diganakan terdiri dari tujuh belas faktor, meliputi Mutu hasil kerja; Kuantitas hasil kerja; Kemampuan judgement; Kemampuan mengorganisasikan pekerjaan; Kemampuan memberikan instruksi; kepemimpinan; Kerjasama; Kemampuan rnempengaruhi orang lain; Kemampuan mengemukakan pendapat, Karakter, Kreativitas danSikap dan minat terhadap pekerjaan; Kemampuan memelihara disiplin; Wawasan pandangan; Kemampuan membawakan diri; Kemauan dan kemampuan belajar, Pengetahuan/keterampilan teknis. Sedangkan pada Asuransi Bintang, faktor penilaiannya terdiri dari sepuluh faktor, yakni Commitment; Positive thinking; Credible; Responsible; Prudent; Teamwork Integrity Customer service; Quality of work; Innovation. Pengukuran hasil penilaian ini berupa tingkatan dengan Skala Likert, yakni baik sekali, hampir cukup dan kurang. Disisi lain, data yang digunakan untuk variabel Pengembangan Karir adalah berapa kali promosi., berapa kali rotasi/mutasi, lama masa kerja, tingkat pendidikan dan tingkat jabatan. Metode pengumpulan data ini dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner terhadap pemegang jabalan struktural di Kantor Pusat. Alasannya adalah pemegang jabatan struktural ini sudah mengalami promosi atau rotasi/mutasi. Jumlah responden di Asuransi Jasindo sebanyak tigapuluh lima orang di Asuransi Bintang sebanyak tigapuluh orang. Pengumpulan data diperoleh pula dari in-depth interview dengan pejabat yang representatif. Data ini diolah dengan meuggunakan program SPSS, dan analisanya menggunakan descriptive statistics dan cross tabulation.
Perbedaan yang cukup berarti ditemukan, bahwa pada Asuransi Jasindo sebagian besar responden mengatakan ke tujuhbelas faktor penilaian dimanfaatkan dalam keputusan promosi. Sedangkan pada Asuransi Bintang, sebagian besar responden mengatakan kesepulnh faktor penilaian hanya kadang-kadang saja digunakan untuk keputusan promosi. Persamaan dari kedua perusahaan ini adalah hasil penilaian hanya kadang-kadang digunakan untuk keputusan rotasi/mutasi, tidak ada korelasi yang signifikan antara masa kerja dan tingkat pendidikan dengan keputusan promosi dan rotasi/mutasi. Saran bagi kedua perusahaan, hendaknya melihat kembali faktor penilaian yang diberlakukan dan keputusan untuk promosi dan rotasi/mutasi.

The purpose of these observations to make known, is there any uses of performance appraisal for career development. The previous observation has been done and indicated that the result of performance appraisal is used for many human resources management's activities; one of the activity is for the career development. Meanwhile, this observation is to make known is there any differences of the uses performance appraisal's result for the career development between Stale Owned Company (BUMN) and Private Company. As the case, the writer has taken PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) - abbreviated as Asuransi Jasiodo and PT Asuransi Bintang, Tbk - abbreviated as Asrransi Bintang as the object of the observation.
Data, which is used for the performance appraisal variable, is the appraisal factors. In Asuransi Jasindo, the appraisal factors which are used for the performance appraisal consists of seventeen factors, included quality of work results, quantity of work results, the ability of judgment, the ability to organize work, the ability to give instruction, leadership, teamwork, the ability to interplay other people, the ability to convey, characteristic creativity & initiative, bearing & concern for work, the ability of discipline, wide knowledge (insight), the ability of adaptation, willingness and the ability to study, knowledge/technical skill whereas in Asuransi Bintang, the appraisal factors consists of ten factors, included commitment positive thinking, credible, responsible, prudent, teamwork, integrity, customer service, quality of work, innovation. Benchmarking of this appraisal's result is degree of the Lihkert's scale, excellent, good, acceptable and poor. In the other side, the data, which is used for the career development variables, are frequency of promotion, frequency of transfer, length of worm education's degree and position's degree. This collecting data's method is obtained by distribute the questionnaires to the people who have structural position's holders in head office. The reason is because this people have been getting promotion and transfer. The amount of respondents in Asuransi Jasindo are thirty-five people, in Asuransi Bintang are thirty people. Beside the questioner obtains the collecting data obtained from in-depth interview with the representative constituted. This data cultivated by SPSS program and the analysis used descriptive statistics and cross tabulation.
The significant differences is found, that is in Asuransi Jasindo almost all respondents said that the seventeen appraisal factors are used for the promotion decision. In Asuransi Bintang, almost all respondents said that the ten appraisal factors sometimes used for the promotion decision. The equation from this two company is appraisal result sometimes used for transfer decision, there is no significant correlation between length of work and moon's degree with the promotion and transfer decision. The suggestion for both of company, try to look up appraisal factor, which is used, and the decision for promotion and rotation.

"Jumlah sumber daya manusia yang tersedia di dalam suatu organisasi, mengharuskan suatu organisasi untuk melakukan berbagai strategi dalam memanfaatkan dan mengoptimalkan kinerja karyawannya. Tentunya PT Telkom Indonesia dengan visinya The King of Digital Company in Indonesia melakukan penerapan budaya organisasi dengan e-learning, dimana diharapkan akan memberikan dampak secara maksimal terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui komitmen organisasional sebagai variabel intervening.
Atas dasar tersebut penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menganalisa bagaimana pengaruh budaya organisasi melalui komitmen organisasional terhadap kinerja karyawan dan bagaimana pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Peneliti menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif dan path analysis.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa budaya organisasi dengan teknologi e-learning yang diimplementasikan oleh Telkom Group dalam rangka memenuhi visinya sebagai The King Of Digital Company in Indonesia nampaknya masih membutuhkan optimalisasi dalam penerapannya kepada internal karyawan. Namun di sisi lain pada hasil penelitian budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasional dimana variabel ini mendapatkan nilai yang signifikan memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.

The amount of the available human resources in an organization, requires an organization to perform a variety of strategies in utilizing and optimizing the performance of employees. Of course, PT Telkom Indonesia with its vision The King of Digital Company in Indonesia doing the application of organizational culture with elearning, which hopefully will provide maximum impact on performance of employees through high organizational commitment.
On the basis of the current study aimed to analyze how the influence of organizational culture employee performance through organizational commitment and the influence between organizational culture and employee performance. This researchers use quantitative methods with descriptive analysis techniques and path analysis.
The results of this research is that cultural organizations with e-learning technology implemented by Telkom Group in order to meet its vision as The King Of the Digital Company in Indonesia still seems to be in need of optimization in its application to the internal employees. But on the other hand the results of research on organizational culture have a influence on organizational commitment in which the variable is getting significant value has an impact on employee performance.

Maka dari itu, penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh career development terhadap employee performance dengan affective commitment sebagai variabel mediasi (Studi pada PT Pos Indonesia Regional 4). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh affective commitment sebagai variabel mediasi memengaruhi career development terhadap employee performance pada karyawan PT Pos Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menyebar ke 100 orang responden karyawan tetap bagian manajerial dan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam pnelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi dan sobel test untuk menghubungkan variabel independen dengan variabel dependen menggunakan variabel mediasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa career developmet memiliki pengaruh terhadap employee performance. Namun, hasil penelitian career developmet terhadap employee performance lebih besar saat menggunakan variabel affective commitment.

Therefore, this study is to analyze the effect of career development on employee performance with affective commitment as a mediation variable (Study Of PT Pos Indonesia Regional 4). The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of affective commitment as a mediation variable affecting career development on employee performance at PT Pos Indonesia employees.This study uses quantitative methods by spread to 100 respondents as full-time employees of the managerial division and using stratified random sampling techniques. The data analysis technique in this study use regression analysis and sobel test to connect the independent variable with the dependent variable using the mediation variable. The results of this study indicate that career development has an influence on employee performance. However, the results of the career development research on employee performance were greater when using the affective commitment variable.

"The objectives of this research are to analyze the condition of employee ?s mnotivation and factors affecting the work motivation of employee?s. Study used is sensus technique as sampling method in Supervisor level and employees of technique division at PT Lasallefood Indonesia. Respondents participate are twenty five emmzployee ?s. This research is using rank spearmami and analysis perception existence of the work motivation factors of the employee?s. There are 11 imidicators as an object analysis which can be classified on to two dimensions; internal amid external as a motivation constructor. The result of this research shows that conditiomi of the employee?s motivation hasn ?t optimal yet, indicated by low percentation of work motivation of emnployee ?S in Supervisor level amid technique division at PT Lasallefood Indonesia. External factors which can push the motivation work the employee?s of technique division and supervisor level are relation of superior and subordimiate, relationship wit/i fellow worker, regulation and company policy, the work condition, compensation and health allowance, have positive amid real corellation to motivation work the emnployee?s. This means that excelsior mount their satisfaction to various the factors hence motivate the employee?s job even also of excelsior. Real correlation in internal factors with the muotivation work the employees of technique division amid supervisor level is gender that is men. While age factor, the education level, year of experience work at PT Lasallefood Indonesia and suns up the family responsibility do not have the real corelation with the motivation work employees."

"Sebagai salah satu perusahaan teratas dalam sektor asuransi jiwa, PT XYZ tidak luput mengalami salah satu permasalahan SDM, yaitu intention to leave yang tinggi yang dapat disebabkan oleh rendahnya komitmen organisasional karyawan. Di dalam penelitian ini akan dijelaskan mengenai pengaruh dari perceived external prestige, ethical organizational climate, dan leader-member exchange quality pada komitmen organisasional dan komitmen karir karyawan serta pengaruh dari komitmen organisasional dan komitmen karir karyawan pada motivasi untuk mengikuti pelatihan dan intention to leave di PT XYZ. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah 237 orang karyawan PT XYZ di Jakarta. Dengan menggunakan structural equation model, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hanya perceived external prestige dan leader-member exchange quality yang berpengaruh signifikan pada komitmen organisasional dan komitmen karir serta komitmen organisasional dan komitmen karir berpengaruh signifikan terhadap intention to leave dan motivasi untuk mengikuti pelatihan.

As one of top company in life insurance sector, PT XYZ do not miss experiencing one of common HR problem, i.e. high intention to leave that may caused by low organizational commitment. This research explains the impact of perceived external prestige, ethical organizational climate, and leader-member exchange quality to organizational commitment and career commitment on PT XYZ employees and also organizational commitment and career commitment on motivation to participate in training and intention to leave on PT XYZ. The respondents of this study were 237 permanent employee of PT XYZ in Jakarta. By using structural equation model, the result of this study shows that only perceived external prestige and leader-member exchange quality have significant impact to organizational commitment and career commitment and also organizational commitment and career commitment have significant impact to intention to leave and motivation to participate in training.

"Tingginya tingkat persaingan di industri penerbangan saat ini mengakibatkan maskapai penerbangan harus berusaha untuk bisa tetap bertahan. Pemberian pelayanan yang berkualitas merupakan salah satu hal yang dapat menjadi daya saing bagi perusahaan maskapai penerbangan Indonesia untuk tetap dapat bersaing. Pramugari merupakan rekan strategis bagi perusahaan maskapai penerbangan karena merupakan pelaku utama dalam pemberian pelayanan yang berkualitas dan penanganan terhadap keluhan serta masalah penumpang secara efektif.
Pramugari berpotensi menghadapi stres dalam melakukan pekerjaannya yang dapat mengakibatkan perilaku kasar dalam melayani penumpang. Oleh sebab itu, perusahaan maskapai penerbangan harus dapat memotivasi pramugari untuk melakukan pekerjaannya dengan sukses. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan oleh perusahaan adalah menerapkan high-performance work practices. Penerapan high-performance work practices di perusahaan diharapkan akan dapat meningkatkan career satisfaction dan work engagement yang selanjutnya akan mempengaruhi kinerja pramugari.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh high-performance work practices, terhadap job performance dan service recovery performance dengan career satisfaction dan work engagement sebagai mediasi menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara online dan offline terhadap 180 pramugari maskapai penerbangan Indonesia.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa high-performance work practices memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap job performance dan service recovery performance. Hasil-hasil tersebut dibahas lebih jauh dalam penelitian ini.

The high level of competition in the aviation industry currently results in airlines having to try to survive. Providing quality services is one of the things that can be a competitiveness of Indonesian airline companies to remain competitive. Flight attendants are strategic partners for airlines because they are the main actors in providing quality services and handling passenger complaints and problems effectively.
Flight attendants have the potential to deal with stress in carrying out their work which can lead to abusive behavior in serving passengers. Therefore, airline companies must be able to motivate flight attendants to do their jobs successfully. One of the things that can be done by companies is implementing high-performance work practices. The implementation of high-performance work practices in the company is expected to be able to improve career satisfaction and work engagement which will further affect the performance of flight attendants.
This study aims to determine the effect of high-performance work practices, on job performance and recovery performance services with career satisfaction and work engagement as mediation using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online and offline to 180 Indonesian airline flight attendants.
The results show that high-performance work practices have an indirect influence on job performance and service recovery performance. These results are discussed further in this study.
