Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pemanafaatan perpustakaan oleh siswa dengan menggunakan metode survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang pemanfaatan perpustakaan SMAN 77 Jakarta Pusat yang ditinjau dari segi koleksi, layanan, dan fasilitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kesimpulan yang didapat adalah pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah SMAN 77 Jakarta Pusat masih rendah, maka dari itu perpustakaan seharusnya dapat meningkatkan kualitasnya dari segi koleksi, layanan, sikap pustakawan, dan fasilitas serta mengadakan kegiatan yang mendukung pemanfaatan perpustakaan SMAN 77 Jakarta Pusat.

ABSTRACT
This research examines how students utilize library school, using survey method. The data gathered by spreading questionaires to students at SMAN 77 Jakarta. This research to describe the utilization of SMAN 77 library school from various aspects: books collection, service, and facilities. The result shows that the utilization of SMAN 77 library school is still low, thus the library need to improve its quality in collection, service and facilities as well as create an activity which can support the utilization of SMAN 77 library school.

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa yang tercantum di dalam Kurikulum 2013. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa yang sudah tercantum di dalam kurikulum 2013. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam meningkatkan minat baca penggunanya adalah berupa mengadakan program-program hiburan di dalam perpustakaan dan mengadakan kegiatan belajar di dalam perpustakaan.

ABSTRACT
This study discusses the role of school libraries in increasing students' interest in the curriculum listed in 2013. Methods used in this study is a case study. This study aims to describe the role of school libraries in improving students' interest already included in the curriculum of 2013. Researchers concluded that the role of school libraries in improving its reading is in the form of entertainment programs held at the library and conduct learning activities in the library.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode semiotik yang dikemukakan oleh Roland Barthes, yakni mencakup analisis sintagmatik terhadap alur dan pengaluran, serta analisis paradigmatik terhadap tokoh dan latar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan Umum Alexandriaville merepresentasikan perpustakaan umum yang menjalankan fungsi rekreasi. Hal itu tampak dari berbagai jenis koleksinya, ruangannya yang berteknologi tinggi, pustakawannya yang cerdas, serta layanannya kreatif dan bernilai edukasi bagi anak. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada representasi perpustakaan dalam serial animasi Avatar: The Last AirBender. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan metode semiotik yang dikemukakan oleh Roland Barthes yaitu hubungan analisis sintagmatik dan paradigmatik yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi perpustakaan dalam serial animasi Avatar: The Last AirBender dengan memahami gambaran komponen perpustakaan dan pemanfaatan informasi yang ditampilkan dalam serial animasi tersebut. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah perpustakaan yang ditampilkan dalam serial animasi Avatar: The Last AirBender adalah sebuah pusat informasi yang tidak mudah untuk dikunjungi oleh pengguna. This study focus on representation of libraries in the serial animation Avatar: The Last Airbender. This study applying qualitative research method with semiotic method stated by Rolad Barthes namely analysis relationship of syntagmatic and paradigmatic which intend to describe representation of libraries in the serial animation Avatar: The Last AirBender by understanding the library component and information usage which shown in the serial animation. The conclution of this study that the library which shown in the serial animation was an information center that was hard to be visited by the user. The library have a planetarium that have a major influence in the entire story.

Penelitian ini membahas representasi atau gambaran kepustakawanan yang dikaitkan dengan lima poin hukum kepustawanan dari S.R. Ranganathan dalam film pendek The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore karya William Joyce pada tahun 2012. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi makna kepustakawanan melalui hukum kepustakawanan Ranganathan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotik sintagmatik-paradigmatik Roland Barthes melalui analisis alur, tokoh, dan latar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hukum kepustakawanan Ranganathan tergambar dalam cerita fantasi ini melalui gambaran kegiatan yang dilakukan tokoh utama dalam film pendek.

ABSTRACT
This study discusses the representation of librarianship that associated with five points of librarianship laws by S.R Ranganathan in The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore short film by William Joyce in 2012. The purpose of this thesis is to identify the meaning of librarianship through Ranganathan librarianship laws. This study is using the qualitative method with Roland Barthes rsquo syntagmatic paradigmatic semiotic approach to analyzing plot, character, and settings. The result of this thesis shows that Ranganathan librarianship laws are portrayed in this fantasy story through the representation of activities that carried out by the main character in the short film.

Penilaian unstructured data sebagai bagian dari rekod Perpustakaan UI dipilih sebagai topik berdasarkan perubahan terbaru dalam dinamika manajemen informasi seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi. penggunaan media sosial sebagai cara untuk berkkomunikasi dengan publik menambahkan elemen baru untuk dipertimbangkan dalam pengambilan keputusan di perpustakaan. Tujuan dari topik ini adalah untuk menganalisis fungsi penilaian unstructured data sebagai bagian dari rekod yang dipertimbangkan di dalam pengambilan keputusan. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah analisis. Data akan didapatkan melalui wawancara dan studi literatur. Penilaian unstructured data berdasar pada apakah unstructured data diperlakukan sama seperti rekod yang mana digunakan sebagai memori kolektif organisasi dan pertimbangan mereka dalam pengambilan keputusan.

ABSTRACT
Unstructured data appraisal as a part of the record of University of Indonesia rsquo s central library is selected as the paper rsquo s topic based on the recent changes in the dynamic of information management in accordance to the development of information technology. The activity of using social media as a mean to communicate with the public adds a new element to be considered in the decision making of the library. The objective of this topic is to analyze the function of appraising unstructured data as a part of record that is considered in the decision making. The method used in this paper is analytical. The data will be acquired through interview and literature studies. The appraisal of the unstructured data is based on whether it is treated the same as record which is used as a collective memory of an organization and their assessment in the decision making.

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Tangerang Wilayah Mauk oleh pemustaka. Penelitian ini menggambarkan pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Tangerang oleh pemustaka ditinjau dari pemustaka memanfaatkan layanan perpustakaan, koleksi, serta temu kembali perpustakaan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat pesisir Kabupaten Tangerang khususnya wilayah Kecamatan Mauk. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Perpustakaan Daerah Kabupaten Tangerang Wilayah Mauk dimanfaatkan oleh pemustaka yaitu masyarakat sekitar, pelajar, serta mahasiswa sebagai sarana penunjang belajar dan juga sarana rekreasi pengganti perpustakaan sekolah pada siswa. Sarana temu kembali yang masih belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh pemustaka karena ketidaktahuan pemustaka. Sebagai saran untuk membuat poster mengenai tata cara penggunaan katalog.

ABSTRACT
This study his talking about the used of public library of Mauk in Tangerang by users. This study describe the used of public library of Mauk in Tangerang for how the users using library services, collections, and also retrieval system of library for increasing community knowledge of Tangerang especially Mauk regency. The study is FGD qualitative research. The users this library are community people, student and college student as tools of study and recreation. That replace school library for student. Retrieval tools is still unuseful optimal by users. as a suggestion to make a poster about the manner of use of the catalog.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Keberadaan rubrik Ensiklobobo sebagai salah satu bacaan anak yang terdapat di majalah Bobo, memiliki kesamaan pelayanan seperti yang dilakukan oleh perpustakaan, yaitu pelayanan jasa rujukan. Kesamaan ini disebut juga dengan quasi layanan rujukan. Keberadaan rubrik Ensiklobobo di Taman Bacaan Anak Melati dapat memberikan manfaat yang besar untuk menambah wawasan pengetahuan anak-anak karena isi informasinya lebih ringan dan sesuai dengan pengalaman sehari-hari anak. ...... The focus of this study is about children’s opinion towards Ensiklobobo rubric in Taman Bacaan Anak Melati, Pitara Depok. The research uses qualitative method by Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Ensiklobobo as one of children rubric in Bobo magazine has the same reference services as library. This services we can called with quasi reference services. The existence of Ensiklobobo rubric in Taman Bacaan Anak Melati would give great benefits to broaden children's knowledge because the light content of the information in accordance with kids daily experiences.

Skripsi ini membahas tentang pemanfaatan arsip Pura Pakualaman sebagai sumber daya pengetahuan bagi masyarakat melalui memori kolektif yang terdapat dalam arsip. Objek Penelitian ini adalah pengelolaan dan pemanfaatan arsip di pusat arsip Pura Pakualaman. Penelitian berfokus pada pemanfaatan arsip tersebut sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber daya pengetahuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pusat arsip Pura Pakualaman telah mengupayakan pendekatan kepada masyarakat melalui kegiatan sosialisasi arsip yang dilakukan seperti penerbitan naskah sumber arsip, pameran, dan seminar pendidikan. Namun, masyarakat masih jarang memanfaatkan arsip sebagai sumber daya pengetahuan mereka. Hal ini dikarenakan publikasi arsip masih jarang dilakukan; minimnya informasi mengenai pusat arsip; dan arsip belum diolah seluruhnya. ......This thesis describes about utilization of archives Pura Pakulaman as knowledge resources for the society through the collective memory which is found in the archives. The object of this research is management and utilization of archives in Central Archives Pura Pakualaman. The research focuses on the utilization of archive so that it can be utilized as a resource of knowledge. This research using a qualitative approach with case study research methods. The result showed that the central archives Pura Pakualaman had made an approach to the society through the socialization of archives activities such as public publication source archives, exhibition, and educational seminars. However, the society still rarely make use of the archive as a resource of knowledge. This is because the publication archives still rarely done; the lack of information regarding the central archives; and the archives have not been processed completely.

Skripsi ini membahas penerapan Jadwal Retensi Arsip yang dilakukan di Kementerian Pertanian dalam pelaksanaan penyusutan arsip. Kegiatan penyusutan arsip terdiri dari tiga kegiatan, yaitu pemindahan arsip dari unit pengolah ke unit kearsipan, pemusnahan arsip yang dilakukan di unit pengolah dan unit kearsipan, dan penyerahan arsip Kementerian Pertanian ke Arsip Nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran kegiatan pelaksanaan penyusutan dalam menerapkan Jadwal Retensi Arsip di Kementerian Pertanian dan memahami kendala-kendala yang muncul pada permasalahan penerapan Jadwal Retensi Arsip mencakup identifikasi permasalahan yang timbul dalam proses penerapan Jadwal Retensi Arsip. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kegiatan penyusutan arsip belum dilakukan secara maksimal sesuai pedoman, petugas tidak memiliki pengetahuan tentang penyusutan arsip, pemusnahan yang dilakukan secara manual (disobek) yang masih dapat terbaca, dan Sumber Daya Manusia di luar Bagian arsip yang tidak mengerti tentang siklus hidup arsip. ......This thesis is about application of achieve retention schedule. It is conducted in the ministry of agriculture, specifically in the implementation of archives shrinkage. The activities of archive shrinkage consist of three activities such as archive transference from archival processing unit into archive unit, archive destruction which is held in archival processing unit and archive unit, and archive submission of ministry of agricultural to the national archives. The intentions of this study is provide an overview about the implementation of activities in applying shrinkage records retention schedule in the ministry of agriculture and get to know about the constraints that arise in the application of problem records retention schedule includes identifying problems that appear in the process of applying archives retention schedule. This research is a qualitative study which is used case study method. The result of the study indicates that the activities of archive shrinkage have not done optimally as the guidelines. The officers didn’t have rich information about archive shrinkage. The archive destruction is done manually that can still be read. The human resources outside archives department don’t understand about the life cycle of archives.
