This thesis discusses Physiolates Therapy, a therapy that combines physiotherapy with the Pilates approach and vice versa. The research method used is doctrinal with qualitative method. The results show that Physiolates Therapy is conceptually legitimate within the scope of physiotherapy, especially if applied with a focus on the use of Pilates modalities as part of rehabilitation or health improvement efforts in physiotherapy. Legal protection for physiotherapists and non-physiotherapist instructors is closely related to licensing and professional status, it is important for Physiolates instructors to be aware of it in order to reduce uncertainty and provide protection in providing health services. The implementation of Physiolates Therapy in a clinical environment demands compliance with health regulations and enhanced service standards, ensuring proper use according to scientific standards. Ikatan Fisioterapi Indonesia plays an important role in supervising, guiding and ensuring appropriate qualifications, while remaining open to further scientific development. The results of this study conclude that Physiolates Therapy, which is now trending and popular in Indonesian society that brings great positive impacts, requires proper direction and compliance with regulations to maintain its optimal benefits, so that its application is within the corridors of proper scientific standards and professional ethics."

ABSTRACT
This quasi experimental research was aimed to identifying the effect of aromatherapy massage on cancer pain by reducing the perception level of pain. Seventeen participants was employed, each has control period for 6 days and intervention period for 6 times. The tool used for measuring pain was Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) combined with Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) in 1-10 scales. Aromatherapy product used in this study was essential oil mixed with base oil, the mixture comparation was 8 drops of essential oil and 15 ml base oil. The data was collected by data collector and analized in univariate and bivariate approach using paired t-test and independent t-test. The result showed eventhough the pain perception level was reducing at both periods, the pain reduction was significant at intervention period than control period (p= 0,00, α=0,05). Analgesic therapy combined with aromatherapy massage is more effective compared to analgesic therapy as a single therapy in reducing cancer pain perception level. This study is expected to give benefit for the improvement in nursing service, education and nursing science development. It is suggested to the policy maker to use aromatherapy in professional nursing practice. It is recommended for further research in this therapy to use this therapy in anxiety reduction, sleep pattern improvement and post surgery pain relief in quantitative and qualitative study."
