Tesis ini membahas mengenai perumusan strategi operasi PT. XYZ dalam optimalisasi fungsi layanan mobile branch (kas mobil) sebagai perpanjangan tangan cabang permanen. Mobile Branch Operational & Enhancement Division sebagai unit yang mengembangkan layanan kas mobil belum memiliki strategi operasi yang dapat dijadikan acuan untuk mengoptimalkan dan mengembangkan fungsi layanan ini. Selama ini layanan kas mobil lebih banyak difungsikan sebagai service point. Strategi operasi dirumuskan dengan menggunakan pendekatan model Slack. Hasil dari perumusan strategi operasi menunjukkan bahwa PT. XYZ perlu melakukan peningkatan kapasitas dan pengembangan organisasi untuk mengoptimalkan fungsi kas mobil, tidak hanya sebagai service point, tetapi juga acquisition channel.

ABSTRAK
This thesis focused on the PT. XYZ operation strategy formulation in optimizing mobile branch service as the extension of permanent branch. Mobile Branch Operational & Enhancement Division as a unit who developed mobile branch service do not yet have an operation strategy that can be used as a reference in optimizing the function of this service. During this time the mobile branch service was functioned only as a service point. Operating strategy was formulated using Slack model. The results of operation strategy formulation suggests that PT. XYZ needs to improve capacity and organizational development to optimize mobile branch service, not only as a service point, but also acquisition channel.

Penelitian pada tesis ini membahas mengenai perumusan strategi operasi dari Divisi Jaringan Teknologi Informasi terkait adanya investasi dengan melakukan integrasi vertikal infrastruktur jaringan komunikasi. Divisi Jaringan Teknologi Informasi sebagai unit kerja yang dibentuk terkait adanya integrasi vertikal ini belum memiliki prioritas dan tahapan implementasi strategi operasi yang dapat dijadikan acuan untuk mengoptimalkan dukungan terhadap layanan bisnis dalam mencapai efisiensi operasional. Perumusan strategi operasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan model strategi operasi Slack and Lewis. Hasil dari perumusan strategi operasi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan strategi operasi Divisi secara formal dalam bentuk matriks strategi operasi dan tahapan implementasi untuk digunakan sebagai arahan dalam kegiatan operasional unit kerja.

ABSTRACT
The research on this thesis discusses the formulation of the operation strategy of the Information Technology Network Division related to the investment by doing vertical integration of communications network infrastructure. The Division of Information Technology Network as a work unit that is formed related to the existence of vertical integration has no priority and implementation stage of operational strategy yet which later can be used as a reference to optimize support for business services in achieving operational efficiency. The formulation of an operating strategy is done using the Slack and Lewis strategy model approach. The results of the operation strategy formulation of this research are expected to give the Division 39 s strategic strategy formally in the form of operational strategy matrix and implementation stages to be used as a direction in the operational activities of the work unit.

Kegiatan bongkar muat di pelabuhan Tanjung Priok dari tahun ke tahun semakin bertambah mencapai 14 juta ton. Akan tetapi hal ini tidak diikuti dengan produktivitas dari pelabuhan yaitu dwelling time yang sangat lama dibandingkan dengan negara lain. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai strategi untuk menambah produktivitas pelabuhan, yaitu dengan strategi Yard Truck Operation dan Yard Allocation. Penelitian ini menggunakan discrete event simulation untuk mencoba kombinasi strategi single cycle dan dual cycle pada Yard Truck Operation dengan strategi separation on each block, diamond separation, horizontal separation on each block dan vertical separation on each block pada strategi Yard Allocation. Hasil penelitian memberikan bahwa strategi twin cycle (strategi alokasi truk) dan strategi separation on each block memberikan produktivitas yang tinggi di Tanjung Priok. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menambah produktivitas dari pelabuhan di Indonesia.

Loading and unloading activities at Tanjung Priok port from year to year is increased up to 14 million tons. However, this is not accompanied with the productivity of the port, and cause dwelling time become long . Therefore, it is necessary to do research on strategies to increase the productivity of the port, which is the strategy Yard Yard Truck Operation and Allocation. This study uses a discrete event simulation to try a combination of single-cycle strategy and dual cycles in Yard Truck Operation with separation strategy on each block, diamond separation, horizontal separation on each block and each block of vertical separation on the Yard Allocation strategy. From the results of the research give that strategy a twin cycle (truck allocation strategy) and strategy of separation on each block gives high productivity in Tanjung Priok. This study is expected to increase the productivity of ports in Indonesia.

Tesis ini membahas tentang perumusan strategi operasi pada Divisi Syariah Reasuransi Jiwa di PT. Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia Tbk yang menyediakan produknya berupa jasa reasuransi. Pertumbuhan bisnis asuransi syariah meningkat 30% per tahun secara nasional namun pertumbuhan rata-rata Divisi Syariah Resuransi Jiwa di Marein hanya sebesar 17% per tahun. Sebagai satu-satunya perusahaan reasuransi swasta di Indonesia, dengan persaingan pasar yang ketat, Divisi Syariah Resuransi Jiwa di Marein perlu merumuskan strategi operasi dalam menjalankan bisnisnya. Perumusan strategi operasi pada tesis ini menggunakan model Slack dan Lewis, dimana hasil strategi operasi dibedakan ke dalam area produktivitas dan kapasitas, arearantai pasok, area teknologi proses, serta area perkembangan dan organisasi. Hasil strategi dipetakan untuk dilaksanakan selama 3 tahun ke depan dan disusun berdasarkan skala prioritas untuk mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan, yaitu peningkatan hasil underwriting sebesar 20% dari pencapaian produksi tahun sebelumnya.

This thesis discusses the formulation of operation strategy in Sharia Reinsurance Division in PT. Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia Tbk that provides reinsurance services. The growth of sharia insurance business increased by 30% per year nationally, but Marein Life Sharia Division?s increase approximately only 17% per year. As the only private reinsurance company in Indonesia, with intense market competition, Marein need to formulate a strategy in its business operations. Operations strategy formulation in this thesis uses Slack and Lewis model, where the results of operations strategy differentiated into areas of productivity and capacity, supply chain area, the area of process technology, as well as the areas of development and organization. Strategy mapped to be implemented over the next 3 years and compiled based on priorities to achieve the stated goal, namely to increase the underwriting result amounted to 20% from the previous year's production.
