Abstrak :
Lean adalah suatu prinsip untuk menghilangkan pemborosan (waste), secara continuous improvement dengan meningkatkan nilai tambah (value added) produk, dan memberikan nilai kepada pelanggan. Value stream mapping merupakan salah satu penerapan dari konsep lean, yaitu untuk memvisualisasikan, memetakan proses produktif atau seluruh jaringan rantai pasok aliran material beserta informasi, dan dapat meningkatkan pengendalian terkait operasional secara keseluruhan. Industri pulp dan kertas termasuk dalam sektor yang berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan perekonomian Indonesia. Terutama dalam aspek ekspor, bahwa industri pulp dan kertas terus meningkat, sehingga industri ini berpotensi untuk terus berkembang, dan dapat meningkatkan devisa negara. Oleh karena itu, industri pulp dan kertas dituntut untuk terus berkembang agar performa perusahaannya tetap terjaga dan kepuasan pelanggan dapat terus terpenuhi. Hal ini terlihat dari peningkatan jumlah demand yang dialami oleh PT. XYZ, sehingga perusahaan perlu untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan efisiensi proses. PT. XYZ belum beroperasi dengan efisien yang ditunjukkan dari proses pergudangan yang masih ditemukannya keberadaan waste. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menerapkan lean warehousing dengan metode value stream mapping untuk meminimalkan waste dan meningkatkan efisiensi keseluruhan proses pergudangan, yang dilanjutkan dengan pemeringkatan waste kritis dan analisis akar permasalahan dengan ishikawa diagram. Hasil dari penelitian ini, menunjukkan bahwa rancangan future state map dapat meningkatkan kinerja proses pergudangan PT. XYZ dengan pengurangan total process time sebesar 40.48%, total waktu pemborosan berkurang sebesar 32.93% dan peningkatan value added ratio proses pergudangan sebesar 34%. Rancangan perbaikan untuk mengeliminasi waste dalam penelitian ini adalah perancangan penempatan tata letak, penerapan sistem FIFO dan flow mobilisasi pergerakan, pembentukan standard operating procedure (SOP) dan sistem penjadwalan, dan lean 5S. ......Lean is a principle aimed at eliminating waste, continuously improving by increasing the value added to products, and delivering value to customers. Value stream mapping is one of the applications of the lean concept, which involves visualizing and mapping productive processes or the entire supply chain network, including material flows and information. This practice can enhance overall operational control. The pulp and paper industry significantly contributes to Indonesia's economic growth, particularly in exports. As the pulp and paper industry continues to grow, it possesses the potential for further expansion, thereby increasing the country's foreign exchange. Consequently, the pulp and paper industry must continue growing to maintain company performance and satisfy customer satisfaction. This can be observed through the increasing number of requests experienced by PT. XYZ, necessitating performance and process efficiency improvements. PT. XYZ needs to be operating more efficiently, as evidenced by the waste in the warehousing process. Therefore, this study applies lean warehousing with the value stream mapping method to minimize waste and enhance the overall efficiency of the warehousing process. Additionally, the study employs Ishikawa diagrams to classify critical waste and conduct root cause analysis. The findings indicate that the future state map design can improve PT. XYZ's performance by reducing total process time by 40.48%, reducing total wastage time by 32.93%, and increasing the value-added ratio of the warehousing process by 34%. The improvement plans outlined in this study encompass layout placement design, implementation of the FIFO system and movement mobilization flow, establishment of standard operating procedures (SOP) and scheduling systems, and the implementation of lean 5S.

Konsep Lean Warehouse merupakan penerapan metode ramping pada pergudangan dengan mengidentifikasikan waste apa saja yang ditemukan pada proses pergudangan, dalam hal ini ialah waste berupa pemborosan pada proses pergudangan perusahaan logistik. Saat ini, pada gudang perusahaan logistik sebagai objek penelitian masih ditemukannya potensi ketidaktepatan pemenuhan Service Level Agreement (SLA) berupa lead time kepada pelanggan. Maka dari itu, inisiatif yang diambil dalam menginvestigasi hal tersebut adalah dengan memetakan alur nilai proses pergudangan perusahaan logistik, yang berfokus pada Central Warehouse, dan mengidentifikasikan pemborosan proses pergudangan lebih lanjut menggunakan salah satu alat lean, yaitu Value Stream Mapping. Dari analisis terhadap Current State Map proses pergudangan perusahaan logistik, didapatkan bahwa pemborosan yang ditemukan pada proses tersebut adalah waiting atau menunggu, transportation atau transportasi, dan overprocessing atau memproses berlebih. Kemudian, usulan rancangan perbaikan pun akhirnya dikembangkan untuk menyelesaikan pemborosan ini, dengan pembuatan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) yang lebih jelas, mini relayout, dan standarisasi serta automasi. Dengan demikian, pada Future State Map proses pergudangan perusahaan logistik dengan mengimplementasikan usulan rancangan perbaikan dapat mereduksi lead time proses pergudangan perusahaan logistik sebesar 0,26% dan mereduksi waktu proses pergudangan perusahaan logistik sebesar 4,94%. ......The concept of Lean Warehouse is the application of lean methods in warehousing by identifying wastes found in warehouse processes. In this case, the waste refers to inefficiencies in the logistics company's warehousing processes. Currently, in the logistics company's warehouse, which is the research object, there is still potential for non-compliance with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) in terms of lead time to customers. Therefore, the initiative taken to investigate this issue involves mapping the value stream of the logistics company's warehouse processes, focusing on the Central Warehouse, and identifying further warehouse process waste using one of the lean tools, Value Stream Mapping. From the analysis of the Current State Map of the logistics company's warehouse processes, it was found that the waste identified in the process includes waiting, transportation, and overprocessing. Consequently, an improvement plan was developed to address these wastes, including the creation of clearer Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), mini relayouts, and standardization and automation. As a result, the Future State Map of the logistics company's warehouse processes, after implementing the proposed improvements, shows a reduction in warehouse process lead time by 0.26% and a reduction in warehouse process time by 4.94%.

Persaingan industri daur ulang sampah plastik yang semakin kompetitif menuntut perusahaan untuk terus berkembang dan melakukan improvement agar dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya. Persaingan yang sangat kompetitif ditambah dengan meningkatnya permintaan plastik daur ulang saat masa pandemi menekan pabrik manufaktur untuk meningkatkan dimensi operasional mereka. Salah satu dimensi operasional yang sangat penting adalah gudang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu perusahaan daur ulang sampah plastik di Indonesia dengan pendekatan lean warehouse untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang masih terjadi pada gudang bahan baku dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mengeliminasi pemborosan agar tercapai proses pergudangan yang efisien. Setelah dilakukan identifikasi waste diketahui bahwa terdapat 3 pemborosan kritis yang terjadi pada gudang bahan baku yaitu overprocessing, waiting, dan transportation. Setelah itu beberapa rekomendasi perbaikan diusulkan untuk menghilangkan pemborosan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lead time proses pergudangan yang terbatas pada gudang bahan baku terjadi penurunan sebesar 42% dari 12661 detik menjadi 7314 detik dan terjadi pengurangan rasio non-value added activity dari 33% menjadi 8%. ......The increasingly competitive plastic waste recycling industry requires companies to continue to develop and make improvements in order to maintain their existence. The intense competition coupled with the increasing demand for recycled plastic during the pandemic has pressured manufacturers to increase their operational dimensions. One very important operational dimension is the warehouse. This research was conducted at one of the plastic waste recycling companies in Indonesia with a lean warehouse approach to identify waste that still occurs in raw material warehouses and provide recommendations for improvements to eliminate waste in order to achieve an efficient warehousing process. After identifying waste, it is known that there are 3 critical wastes that occur in the raw material warehouse, namely overprocessing, waiting, and transportation. After that several recommendations for improvement are proposed to eliminate the waste. The results showed that the lead time of the warehousing process which was limited to the raw material warehouse decreased by 42% from 12661 seconds to 7314 seconds and there was a reduction in the ratio of non-value added activity from 33% to 8%.
