Abstrak :
Proyek Terminal Bandara XYZ dibangun untuk mengatasi kelebihan kapasitas pada bandara tersebut. Proyek ini menggunakan kontrak Design and Build yang umumnya dipilih untuk efisiensi dan efektivitas pekerjaan proyek, tetapi dalam pekerjaannya masih didapati adanya klaim yang terjadi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan klaim konstruksi pada proyek Design and Build dan mengembangkan sistem manajemen klaim untuk meningkatkan kinerja waktu dan biaya pada proyek tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data melalui survei kuesioner dan wawancara terkait proyek Design and Build. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor-faktor penyebab klaim yang dominan dan ditolak oleh owner serta tindakan korektif berupa sistem manajemen klaim untuk meminimalisir klaim pada proyek konstruksi. ......Project Terminal of XYZ Airport built to cope with the excess capacity at the airport. This project uses a Design and Build contract are generally chosen for the efficiency and effectiveness of project work, but during the operation there still found the claims which occurs in the process. This study aims to identify the factors that led to the claim construction on the project Design and Build and develop a claims management system to improve the performance of the time and cost of the project. The study was conducted by collecting data via survey questionnaires and interviews related to Design and Build projects. Results shows the factors that cause the dominant claims and rejected by the owner as well as corrective measures in the form of claim management system to minimize claims on construction projects.

Abstrak :
Tesis ini merupakan pembahasan dari studi kasus perbankan yang terjadi pada salah satu bank yang sedang berkembang di Indonesia. Analisis ini terfokus pada kinerja sistem operasional Bank ABC sebagai bank lokal baik dari segi waktu maupun biaya yang dibutuhkan. Sistem operasional yang dibahas dalam tesis ini akan direfleksikan melalui proses transfer LLG dan RTGS (Activity Diagram dan CPM). Hasil analisis ini diharapkan dapat memperbaiki kinerja proses transfer pada sistem operasional sehingga kinerja waktu dan biaya yang digunakan dapat ditingkatkan.

This thesis is a discussion about banking case study that occurred at one of a growing bank in Indonesia. This analysis focused on the performance of Bank ABC operational system as a local bank in terms of both time and cost required. Operating systems discussed in this thesis will be reflected through the LLG and the RTGS transfer process (using activity diagram and CPM). The results of this analysis are expected to improve performance on the transfer process so that the performance of operational systems can be increased.

Perkembangan transportasi di Indonesia saat ini khususnya di DKI Jakarta masih kurang memadai. Transportasi di Jakarta memerlukan suatu terobosan baru untuk mengatasi kemacetan tersebut. Terobosan tersebut yaitu proyek monorail Jakarta. Sebelum proyek tersebut dilaksanakan perlu didapatkan hasil penyelidikan tanah secara menyeluruh pada lintasan monorail. Penyelidikan tanah sendiri bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi secara menyeluruh pada kondisi tanah guna merancang fondasi dan konstruksi lintasan monorail. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mencari optimasi dalam kinerja waktu dan biaya sehingga didapat hasil yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode yang dilakukan adalah menggunakan fuzzy inference system dan fuzzy linear programming. Kedua hasil tersebut kemudian dibandingkan dan diharapkan mendapatkan hasil optimasi lebih dari 50%.

ABSTRACT
The development of transportation in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta is still inadequate. Transportation in Jakarta needs a new breakthrough to overcome these bottlenecks. The breakthrough is the monorail project in Jakarta. Prior to the project needs to obtain the results of investigations conducted thorough land on the monorail track. Soil investigation itself aims to obtain comprehensive information on the condition of the soil in order to design the foundation and construction of the monorail track. In this study conducted to search for performance optimization in time and cost in order to get results more effectively and efficiently. The method is to use fuzzy inference system and fuzzy linear programming. Both results are then compared and it is expected to get the optimization of more than 50%.

Kondisi industri galangan kapal di Indonesia saat ini masih kurang menggembirakan dikarenakan daya saing galangan kapal nasional yang rendah atau tidak kompetitif, ha ini disebabkan harga kapal produksi dalam negeri yang lebih mahal dan waktu pembangunan yang lebih lama dibandingkan dengan kapal produksi galangan kapal di luar negeri. Disamping itu, masih banyaknya proyek-proyek pembangunan kapal yang dilaksanakan oleh galangan kapal nasional mengalami keterlambatan dalam penyelesaiannya. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, dilakukan evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan pembangunan kapal di Indonesia dengan pendekatan lean shipbuilding berbasis risiko dalam rangka meningkatkan kinerja waktu. Dari hasil kuisioner pada beberapa galangan kapal nasional diketahui bahwa waste (pemborosan) dominan yang merupakan faktor risiko yang mempengaruhi kinerja waktu pembangunan kapal di galangan kapal Indonesia adalah : adanya bahan baku dan komponen yang masih harus diimpor dari luar negeri, lamanya proses yang terkait dengan prosedur Bea Cukai (Customs Clearance), keterlambatan dalam pengesahan gambar-gambar serta kedatangan bahan baku dan komponen yang terlambat. Pada studi kasus didapatkan hasil bahwa penerapan prinsipprinsip lean dalam metode pembangunan kapal dapat memperbaiki kinerja waktu penyelesaian pembangunan kapal di galangan kapal Indonesia sebesar 50% dan menurunkan jam orang sebesar 16,43%. ......The condition of shipbuilding industries in Indonesia at the moment is still less enlivening due to the fact that national shipyards have low competitiveness or even not competitive. This results from that the price of ships produced domestically is more expensive and the construction periods until the delivery time take longer than those abroad. Besides, there are many shipbuilding projects performed by national shipyards which undergo tardiness in the accomplishment. Based on that condition, an evaluation on the shipbuilding implementation in Indonesia is conducted with the approach of lean shipbuilding based on risk in order to enhance the performance of time. The result of the questionnaire at some national shipyards shows that dominant waste constituting the risk factor which influences the time performance of shipbuilding process at Indonesian shipyards are the presence of imported raw materials and components from abroad, the processing time in connection with customs clearance, the lack of punctuality in endorsement on the component drawings/designs as well as the late arrival of raw materials and components. In a case study, the result obtained is that the application to lean principles in shipbuilding method can improve the time performance of accomplishing shipbuilding process at Indonesian shipyard by 50% and decrease man hours by 16,43%.

Abstrak :
Proyek EPC memiliki tingkat risiko yang cukup tinggi. Permasalahan yang biasanya terjadi dalam proyek EPC adalah keterlambatan dan cost overrun. Pada proyek konstruksi, pengadaan material memiliki 50-60% dari total biaya. Angka tersebut cukuplah besar sehingga pengadaan material ini memiliki pengaruh yang cukup besar terhadap risiko yang mungkin saja terjadi dalam proyek EPC. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi faktor risiko yang berpengaruh, penyebab risiko dominan dan rekomendasi risiko.Data yang didapatkan akan dilakukan analisa risiko, analisa korelasi, analisa faktor dan analisa regresi. Hasil penelitian berupa faktor risiko dominan yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja waktu yaitu "Perubahan Spesifikasi yang Mempengaruhi Pembuatan" dan "Ketidaktersediaan Material" sedangkan untuk kinerja biaya "Perubahan Spesifikasi Material" dan "Perencanaan dan estimasi biaya tidak dilakukan dengan tepat". ......EPC project has high risk level. Problems that usually happen in EPC project are delay and cost overrun. On the construction project, 50-60 % of project work to be performed by material procurement.
