Artikel ini membahas konstruksi habitus dan pergeseran posisi sosial tokoh Driss dalam film Intouchables oleh Olivier Nakache. Intouchables adalah film yang didasarkan pada kisah nyata seorang pria kaya yang cacat fisik dengan perawat pribadinya bernama Driss. Kedatangan Driss di rumah majikannya mengubah ruang sosialnya dan sedikit demi sedikit membentuk habitus baru di dalam dirinya. Menggunakan metode kajian sinema, analisis dimulai dengan memaparkan strategi naratif film yang mencakup elemen alur , penokohan , dan latar ruang-waktu. Alur film ini digerakkan oleh perkembangan hubungan Driss dan Philippe yang melibatkan dua latar belakang budaya yang berbeda. Dengan menggunakan konsep habitus dan kapital Pierre Bourdieu, hasil pembacaan lebih dalam menunjukkan konstruksi habitus baru Driss dalam relasinya dengan tokoh-tokoh lain di lingkungan sosial yang baru. Terlihat bahwa pembentukan habitus baru tidak dapat dipisahkan dari akumulasi kapital baru yang diperoleh Driss, dan kemampuannya untuk mengelola kapital ini, terutama kapital budaya. Peningkatan akumulasi kapital ini membuat posisi sosial Driss bergeser lebih tinggi.

ABSTRACT
This article discusses the construction of habitus and the shift in the social position of the figure Driss in the film Intouchables by Olivier Nakache. Intouchables is a film based on the true story of a rich man with a physical disability and his personal nurse named Driss. Driss' arrival at his employers house changed his social space and gradually formed a new habitus within him. Using the cinema study method, the analysis begins by presenting a film narrative strategy that includes flow elements, characterizations, and space-time settings. The flow of the film is driven by the development of the relationship between Driss and Phillipe which involves two different cultural backgrounds. By using Pierre Bourdieus concept of habitus and capital, the results of reading more deeply show the construction of Driss new habitus in relation to other figures in the new social environment. It is seen that the formation of a new habitus cannot be separated from the new capital accumulation obtained by Driss, and its ability to manage this capital, especially cultural capital. This increase in capital accumulation made Driss' social position shift higher.

Film Capernaum karya Nadine Labaki menunjukkan isu sosial yang dialami oleh masyarakat kelas bawah di Beirut, Lebanon. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat ketangguhan diri tokoh atau resiliensi dengan latar belakang berbeda yakni dari sudut pandang anak, imigran gelap serta komunitasnya dalam bertahan hidup dan menghadapi ancaman sekitar demi mencapai kebebasan dalam menentukan pilihan serta kebahagian baik secara materiel maupun morel. Dalam mencapai tujuan, digunakan metode kualitatif dengan menganalisis unsur naratif dan sinematografis menggunakan teori kajian film menurut Boggs dan Petrie yang kemudian diperdalam dengan konsep resiliensi sosial menurut Patrick dan Saldaporak. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan resiliensi dicerminkan secara signifikan oleh tokoh Zain. Penjenjangan tersebut tidak selalu berjalan berurutan, terdapat pula sikap resisten dalam prosesnya, namun sebagai satu kesatuan, komunitas Beirut memiliki tingkat resiliensi rendah karena didominasi oleh sikap penerimaan sebagai mekanisme pertahanan. Selain itu, ancaman utama yang menjadi penyebab adalah kondisi ekonomi dan malafungsi lembaga sosial khususnya keluarga sebagai institusi pertama bagi setiap anak. Lain halnya dengan keluarga, terlepas dari ketidakterturan yang ada, institusi sosial yakni pengadilan berhasil berjalan sesuai fungsinya ......Capernaum by Nadine Labaki exhibits social issues that prevails amongst the lower class in Beirut, Lebanon. This article aims to showcase the actors’ resilience from different backgrounds, which vary from the point of view of children, illegal immigrants as well as their communities in hope to face and survive the threats that surrounds them. In achieving the objective, a qualitative method by Boggs and Petrie is used by analyzing its narrative and cinematographic elements. This is then supported by social resilience theory by Patrick and Saldaporak. The results show that the development of resilience is significantly reflected by a character named, Zain. The progression is not always sequential, as there are also some resistant attitudes. However, as a unity, the Beirut community has a low level of resilience which can be attributed to their high coping capacities. Additionally, the main threats that caused their low level of resilience are the poor economic conditions and the malfunction of social institutions in the country, especially the family as the first institution for every child. Despite the existing disorganization, the social institution, namely the court, has succeeded in functioning properly according to its obligations.

Artikel ini membahas mengenai homoseksualitas yang ditampilkan dalam film J rsquo;ai r v sous l rsquo;eau. Artikel ini mengangkat mengenai permasalahan orientasi seksual yang terjadi pada tokoh Antonin. Faktor dari dalam dirinya merupakan pemicu utama terjadinya perubahan orientasi seksualnya, yaitu kesedihan karena ditinggal seseorang yang dicintainya, Alex. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa perubahan identitas seksual yang digambarkan melalui film J rsquo;ai r v sous l rsquo;eau disebabkan dari faktor internal yaitu perasaan sedih yang dirasakan karena kehilangan seseorang yang dicintainya. Selain itu, faktor lain yang juga sangat mempengarhi perubahan orientasi seksual Antonin adalah hadirnya sosok Juliette dan Baptiste yang memberikan perhatian, kasih sayang serta kedekatan secara intim yang menyebabkan adanya perubahan-perubahan identitas seksual pada Antonin. Film J rsquo;ai r v sous l rsquo;eau diteliti dan dianalisis berdasarkan unsur alur, tokoh, dan setting.

ABSTRACT<>br> This article discusses homosexuality featured in the film J 39 ai r v sous l 39 eau. This article raises the issue of sexual orientation that occurred on the character Antonin. Factor from within himself is the main trigger of the change of his sexual orientation due to the sadness of losing someone he loves, Alex. The results of this study show that the change in sexual identity in the film J 39 ai r v sous l 39 eau is caused by internal factors, such as the feeling of losing and the sadness due to the death of someone he loves. In addition, the other factor that affects the change of Antonin 39 s sexual orientation is the presences of Juliette and Baptiste who give attention, affection and intimate closeness that cause the changes of sexual identity to Antonin. The film J 39 ai r v sous l 39 eau is studied and analyzed through its aspects plot, character, and setting.

Artikel ini membahas penggambaran dominasi tokoh Ibu dan gugatan yang terdapat dalam film J`ai Tué Ma Mère karya Xavier Dolan melalui aspek naratif dan sinematografis film. Analisis yang dibuat didukung dengan konsep kekuasaan Michel Foucault untuk melihat bentuk dominasi sosok ibu yang terjadi dalam film. Kekuasaan merupakan landasan dari terbentuknya dominasi yang menimbulkan adanya represi terhadap orang lain, termasuk di dalam lingkup keluarga. Hasil analisis melalui aspek naratif dan sinematografis film menunjukkan bahwa dominasi terbentuk akibat adanya kegagalan komunikasi yang terjalin antartokoh dan menyebabkan terbentuknya resistensi yang dilakukan oleh tokoh yang terdominasi, dalam hal ini tokoh anak laki-laki. Kekuasaan dan dominasi sosok ibu yang sangat besar dalam kehidupan tokoh anak laki-laki tersebut menyebabkan masalah dan konflik yang terjadi diantara keduanya, sehingga hal tersebut menimbulkan jarak dalam hubungan antara ibu dan anak. Resistensi yang dilakukan oleh tokoh yang terdominasi bertujuan untuk menggugat kekuasaan atas dominasi yang diterimanya. Dominasi yang ada juga diperkuat oleh faktor budaya matriarkal di dalam budaya masyarakat Qu ? bec yang merupakan latar dalam film J`ai Tué Ma Mère

ABSTRACT
This article discusses the depiction of Mother domination and the lawsuit contained in J`ai Tué Ma Mère by Xavier Dolan through the narrative and cinematographic aspects of the film. The analysis made is supported by the concept of power by Michel Foucault to see the form of dominance of the mother figure that occurs in the film. Power is the cornerstone of the formation of dominance that gives rise to repression against others, including within the family. The results of the analysis through the narrative and cinematographic aspects of the film show that the dominance is formed due to communication failure that exists between forces and causes the formation of resistance by dominated figures, in this case is figure of a son. The very great power and dominance of mother figure in the life of the son causes problems and conflicts between them, thus causing distance in the relationship between mother and child. Resistance by dominated figure aims to sue power over domination that he recieves . The dominance is also reinforced by matriarchal cultural factors within the culture of the Qu ? bec community which is the setting in the film J`ai Tué Ma Mère

Artikel ini akan membahas tentang sebuah film yang berjudul Marguerite 2015 karya Xavier Giannoli yang sangat kuat menampilkan simbolisasi warna putih. Simbol-simbol tersebut akan dianalisis menggunakan konsep pengkajian sinema yang dikemukakan oleh Denis Petrie dan Joe Boggs dalam bukunya yang berjudul The Art of Watching Films. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwa alur pada film ini digerakkan adanya tema besar kebohongan pada umumnya dan white lies pada khususnya. Selain itu, ditemukan juga simbolisasi warna putih yang berkaitan erat dengan watak polos dan naif yang dimiliki oleh tokoh utamanya, Marguerite Dumont.

ABSTRACT
This article will discuss about a film titled Marguerite 2015 by Xavier Giannoli that strongly shows white symbolization. The symbols will be analyzed using the concept of cinema review proposed by Denis Petrie and Joe Boggs from their book, The Art of Watching Films. The results of the analysis show that the flow in this film is driven by a major theme of lies in general and white lies in particular. In addition, also found a symbol of white color that is closely related to the plain and na ve character possessed by the main character, Marguerite Dumont.

Penelitian kualitatif ini dianalisis melalui aspek naratif dan sinematografis film dengan menggunakan teori Boggs dan Petrie 2011. Sementara itu, artikel ini menggunakan konsep heroisme oleh Taha 2002. Hasil analisis menentukan status hero pada tokoh-tokoh yang meliputi status hero, semi-hero dan anti-hero yang dilihat melalui motivasi, tekad, kemampuan, perjuangan serta keberhasilan tokoh dalam menyelesaikan misi utama. ......This article focuses on analyzing the heroism of female characters in a movie titled Les Femmes de L rsquo;Ombre by Jean Paul Salom which is based on true story. This movie depicts how women struggled against German durning World War II by joining espionage organization called Special Operations Executive SOE. This research is a qualitative research and analyzed through narrative and cinematrography aspect from Boggs and Petrie 2011. Meanwhile, the values of heroism in this movie is reviewed by using heroism concept by Taha 2002. The result of this research distinguishes the three conceptions of heroism, namely hero, semi-hero, and anti-hero as seen through each character rsquo;s motivation, will, ability, execution, and outcome.

Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian kualitatif dengan ruang lingkup aspek sinematografis dan aspek naratif yang ditampilkan dalam film tersebut, yang kemudian dikaitkan dengan teori psikologis Borderline Personality Dissorder. Hasil penelitian memaparkan bagaimana gangguan kepribadian ambang Borderline Personality Dissorder ditunjukan pada dua tokoh utama yang diperankan oleh Jean Reno dan Vincent Cassel.
