"Penyebab kematian penyakit tidak menular terbesar peringkat tiga di propinsi Yogyakarta adalah stroke. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan dukungan spiritual keluarga dengan tingkat kecemasan lansia paska stroke di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mergangsan Kota Yogyakarta. Desain penelitian analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional . pengambilan sampel secara sampling jenuh atau total sampling dengan responden berjumlah 80. Sampel penelitian ini adalah lansia dengan paska stroke dan anggota keluarga yang merawat lansia dengan paska stroke. Hasil analisa chi square menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan intrapersonal, interpersonal, dan transpersonal dengan tingkat kecemasan lansia paska stroke. Dukungan spiritual yang dominan adalah dukungan transpersonal. Peran perawat komunitas dibutuhkan untuk mendukung keluarga dalam memberikan dukungan spiritual pada lansia paska stroke.

The third rank common cause of the death on non communicable diseases in Yogyakarta was stroke. This study was conducted to determine the association between spiritual support of family caregiver and the level of anxiety in the older people with post stroke disease in Mergangsan health center Yogyakarta. A analytic correlation with cross sectional approach was used in this study. Saturated sampling technique or total sampling was held in the study with the sample size of the study was 80.

The Results showed that there is association between intrapersonal, interpersonal, transpersonal support and the levels of anxiety in the older people with post-stroke. The dominant variable of spiritual support was transpersonal support. The Community Health Nursing is needed to support families in providing the spiritual support to decreased anxiety for older people with post stroke in the community."
