"This book focuses on innovation in the ASEAN such as Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore to demonstrate that it is contextually different to other geographic regions due to the climate, government structure and history. This book shows that innovation develops based on cultural and societal conditions.
The aim of this book is to focus on how innovation occurs in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Thereby focusing on the unique country elements of each country but also exploring the integrated history of these countries. "Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji pengaruh Oganization Excellence, Learning Organizational, dan Organizational Innovation terhadap Knowledge Management pada Staf Sumber Daya Manusia Mabes Polri. Knowledge Management penting untuk dimiliki oleh organisasi-organisasi yang berbasis pada pengolahan sumber daya manusia sebagai capital-nya atau disebut sebut sebagai "human capital". Hal tersebut disebabkan faktor modal yang paling penting didalam Human Capital adalah pengetahuan. Terkelolanya pengetahuan di dalam "knowledge management" dapat mempengaruhi efektivitas pelayanan Polri kepada masyarakat dengan meningkatnya kemampuan personel Polri. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Sebanyak 260 orang, dari total populasi sejumlah 460 Personel dengan jenjang kepangkatan dari yang terendah hingga pangkat AKBP atau PNS setingkat. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Likert dengan 5 tingkatan skala pengukuran. Analisis SEM-PLE digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh Organizational Excellence, Organizational Innovation, dan Learning Organizational terhadap Knowledge Management pada Staf Sumber Daya Manusia Mabes Polri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Organizational Innovation memiliki hubungan korelasi paling kuat terhadap Knowledge Management dengan nilai r sebesar 0,760. Learning Organizational memiliki hubungan korelasi dengan Knowledge Management denhan nilai r sebesar 0,689. Organizational Excellence memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan nilai r sebesar 0,628. Hubangan antar variabel diatas menunjukkan hubungan yang positif.

This research was undertaken to investigate the effect of Organizational Excellence, Organizational Innovation, and Learning Organizational toward the Knowledge Management in Indonesia National Police Human Resouce Department (SSDM Mabes Polri). Knowledge Management is imperative to be implemented in an Organizational, especially in Organizational which managing human capital as its source. It is becoming very important since the main factor in human-capital is knowledge. Therefore, managing knowledge through knowledge management affect the effectiveness of Polri service toward the society with enhancing the knowledge of its member. Sample for this research was 260 from the total population of 460 Polri members which come from the lowest rank members until Superintendent rank or Civil Servant on commensurate level. Data gathering using likert scale with 5 level of measurement. SEM-PLE analysis was conducted to test the correlation of Organizational Excellence, Organizational Innovation, and Learning Organizational toward the Knowledge Management in Indonesia National Police Human Resouce Department (SSDM Mabes Polri). The study shows that Organizational innovation has the strongest significant correlation with r score of 0,760. Learning Organizational has a correlation score of 0.689. And Organizational excellence with correlation score of 0.628. All of the correlation show a positive correlation."

"Perkembangan dunia teknologi yang sangat cepat, berdampak pada pertumbuhan ekonomi, di mana mendorong banyak perusahaan baru muncul, khususnya perusahaan pada bidang teknologi seperti startup. Untuk dapat tumbuh dan berkembang, startup memerlukan sebuah inovasi yang dapat didukung oleh adanya kemampuan pembelajaran dan kreativitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari organizational learning capability dan organizational creativity terhadap organizational innovation pada PT Kita Bisa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan penarikan data melalui survei yang disebarkan dengan kuesioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan total sampling dengan responden sebanyak 101 karyawan. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara organizational learning capability dan organizational creativity terhadap organizational innovation pada PT Kita Bisa Indonesia.
The technology changes is very fast and it have impacts on economic growth, which encourages many new companies to emerge, especially companies in the field of technology such as startups. To be able to grow and develop, startups need an innovation that can be supported by the ability to learn and creativity. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational learning capability and organizational creativity on organizational innovation at PT Kita Bisa Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods with data collection through surveys distributed by questionnaire. This study uses total sampling with 101 employees. To find out the relationship between variables, this study uses multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between organizational learning capability and organizational creativity on organizational innovation at PT Kita Bisa Indonesia."

Makalah ini mengesplorasi bagaimana Makedonia dari yang hanya menawarkan ruang 'bekerja-bersama' diproyeksikan untuk mengadaptasi budaya makerspace dengan ruang lingkungan bengkel, fasilitas membuat prototype dengan cepat, aktivitas sains informal untuk 'innovasi bersama' dan 'Komersialisasi bersama' dengan jaringan komunitas 'makerspace' dan 'Crowd Innovation'.
Makalah ini merekonstruksi element model bisnis menggunakan 'Menemukan ulang model bisnis' yang dikembangkan oleh Johnson Christensen dan Kagermann. Beberapa element adalah keterkaitan antara 'customer value proposition' dari 'makerspace', proses penting dari rekrutmen anggota, sumber daya penting manusia dan peralatan teknologi serta rumusan profit.

"Inovasi telah menjadi hal vital dalam menjaga keberlangsungan organisasi dalam jangka panjang. Dalam menciptakan inovasi, perguruan tinggi berperan sebagai aktor utama dalam memberikan hasil penelitian dan inovasi dari sumberdaya unggul yang dimilikinya. Sebagai Universitas yang menyandang nama bangsa, UI memiliki tanggung jawab besar untuk berkontribusi dalam penciptaan inovasi di Indonesia. Dalam rangka meningkatkan inovasi di UI, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor pendorong dan penghambat yang mempengaruhi proses inovasi khususnya inovasi produk di UI agar dapat merumuskan strategi dalam peningkatan inovasi.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data mixed method dengan survey dan wawancara kepada aktor inovasi di Universitas Indonesia yang terdiri dari mahasiswa, dosen, dan tenaga  kependidikan.  Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa faktor pendorong proses inovasi yang paling tinggi dirasakan adalah kebebasan dalam berinovasi, munculnya unit khusus terkait inovasi, dan dukungan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pengembangan keterampilan. sedangkan faktor penghambat proses inovasi yang paling tinggi dirasakan adalah praktik manajemen inovasi yang berbeda di tiap fakultas, birokrasi pemerintah yang rumit dan tidak transparan, serta budaya organisasi di UI yang terlalu birokratis.

Innovation has become crucial in maintaining the long-term sustainability of organizations. In creating innovation, universities play a key role as the main actors in providing research results and innovations from their excellent resources. As a university bearing the nation's name, Universitas Indonesia has a great responsibility to contribute to the creation of innovation in Indonesia. In order to enhance innovation at UI, this research aims to analyze the driving factors and barriers that influence innovation process, especially product innovation at UI, to formulate strategies for enhancing innovation. This study utilized quantitative approach with mixed method data collecting method through surveys and interviews to innovation actors at the University of Indonesia, including students, lecturers, and educational staff. The study found that the highest perceived drivers of innovation process are freedom in innovation, the emergence of specialized units related to innovation, and support in the form of training and skill development. Meanwhile, the highest perceived barriers to innovation barriers are differing innovation management practices in each faculty, complex and non-transparent government bureaucracy, and an overly bureaucratic organizational culture at UI.

"Tesis ini membahas tentang bagaimana inovasi yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan startup dapat memberikan pengaruh kepada Venture Capital berminat untuk memberikan dana kepada perusahaan startup tersebut. Perusahaan startup di Indonesia saat ini banyak yang berbasis teknologi.. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan melalui Interview. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 4 perusahaan startup yang didanai oleh Venture Capital yang terdiri dari Tech in Asia, Pedals.id, Taralite, dan perusahaan yang tidak dapat disebutkan namanya (perusahaan XYZ). Interview dilakukan di berbeda waktu dan tempat oleh masing-masing narasumber dari perusahaan tersebut. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah jika perusahaan startup mengimplementasikan inovasinya dengan melibatkan banyak pihak di perusahaan tersebut, maka semakin tinggi juga minat dari perusahaan Venture Capital dalam memberikan pendanaan dan pendampingan manajemen berupa pemantauan dan saran yang dapat membuat perusahaan startup tersebut dapat berkembang.
.....This thesis concerns analysis of the innovation process given by Indonesian Start-ups Invested by Venture Capital Firms or Angel Investor, whether or not the intention of Venture Capital invest, including the requirement from Venture Capitals to the start-ups in order to get the next stage of financing. As awareness of the importance of technology increased, many Indonesian start-ups was established, most of them are technology-based companies. These companies’ needs of funding are not something very easy to met. Therefore, approachment to Venture Capital or Angel Investor can be met as all the startups in order to develop and compete with others in long term. Innovation should be required in the process and could make a consideration for Venture Capital and Angel Investor to fund. This research uses qualitative method by conducting in-depth interviews. The unit of analysis are Indonesian start-ups funded by Venture Capıtals or Angel Investor. Object of analysis are 4 (four) Indonesian startups. Participants of the study are four representatives of four start-ups who occupy a strategic position to be able to understand the innovation process of each start-ups. We found that Indonesian start-ups financed by Venture Capıtals or angel investor implement their innovation by involving all of company’s stakeholder that can trigger willingness of Venture Capıtal or Angel Investor to give advice in all aspects."
