"Konstipasi fungsional merupakan salah satu masalah gastrointestinal yang paling umum terjadi. Penelitian baru-baru ini menunjukkan bahwa konstipasi fungsional juga banyak dialami oleh kelompok mahasiswa. Dampak konstipasi fungsional pada mahasiswa tidak dapat diabaikan, seperti menimbulkan perasaan tidak nyaman secara fisik dan psikososial yang berakibat pada menurunnya produktivitas dan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui proporsi kejadian konstipasi fungsional dan hubungan antara beberapa faktor risiko dengan kejadian konstipasi fungsional pada mahasiswa S1 Reguler FKM UI tahun 2023. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini yaitu kejadian konstipasi fungsional. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini antara lain asupan serat pangan, asupan cairan, aktivitas fisik, jenis kelamin, stres, dan kualitas tidur. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai Juli-Desember 2023 dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan desain studi cross-sectional. Responden penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa aktif S1 Reguler FKM UI angkatan 2020-2022 sejumlah 122 orang yang dipilih melalui teknik simple random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner secara daring melalui Google Form. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan Fisher-Exact. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, didapatkan proporsi konstipasi fungsional sebesar 18,9%. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan bermakna antara asupan serat pangan, asupan cairan, aktivitas fisik, jenis kelamin, stres, dan kualitas tidur dengan kejadian konstipasi fungsional pda mahasiswa S1 Reguler FKM UI 2023. Meskipun begitu, terdapat kecenderungan bahwa kejadian konstipasi fungsional lebih banyak dialami oleh mahasiswa yang memiliki asupan serat pangan kurang dan asupan cairan kurang. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa diharapkan meningkatkan konsumsi serat pangan dan cairan serta menerapkan gaya hidup yang lebih sehat.

Functional constipation is one of the most common gastrointestinal disorders. Recent research shows that funstional constipation also occurs in student groups. The impact of functional constipation on students cannot be ignored, as it causes feelings of physical and psychosocial discomfort, resulting in decreased productivity and quality of life. This study aims to determine the proportion of functional constipation and the relationship between several risk factors with functional constipation among undergraduate students of the Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia, in 2023. The dependent variable of this study is functional constipation. The independent variables in this study include dietary fiber intake, fluid intake, sex, physical activity, stress level, and sleep quality. This research was conducted from July to December 2023 using quantitative methods and a cross-sectional study design. Respondents for this study were 122 active regular undergraduate students of FKM UI form the class of 2020-2022, selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were obtained by filling out online questionnaires via Google Forms. Data were analyzed through univariate and bivariate analyses using the Chi-Square test and Fisher-Exact test. Based on the results, it was found that the proportion of functional constipation was 18,3%. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between dietary fiber intake, fluid intake, sex, physical activity, stress level, and sleep quality with functional constipation in regular undergraduate students at FKM UI in 2023. However, this research suggests that there is a tendency for functional constipation to be more frequent in students with lower dietary fiber intake and less fluid intake. Therefore, students are encouraged to increase their consumption of dietary fiber and fluids and adopt a healthier lifestyle. "

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, asupan serat, asupan cairan, dan gaya hidup (aktivitas fisik, stres, konsumsi kopi, konsumsi minuman probiotik, dan posisi saat buang air besar) dengan konstipasi fungsional. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross sectional dan dilakukan pada 99 orang mahasiswi FKM UI tahun 2013. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan April sampai Mei 2013. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui pengisian kuesioner, Food Recall 2 x 24 jam, dan Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi-square. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode acak stratifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prevalensi kejadian konstipasi fungsional di FKM UI sebesar 52,5%. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian konstipasi fungsional (p value = 0,014), ada hubungan yang bermakna antara asupan serat dengan kejadian konstipasi fungsional (p value = 0,045), dan ada hubungan yang bermakna antara posisi saat buang air besar dengan kejadian konstipasi fungsional (p value = 0,043). Diharapkan mahasiswi dapat meningkatkan kualitas kesehatannya sehingga dapat mengurangi kejadian konstipasi fungsional.

This study aim’s to know the relationship between knowledge, fiber intake, fluid intake, and lifestyle (physical activity, stress, coffee consumption, probiotic consumption and body position on defecation) with functional constipation. This study used cross sectional design and the data were collected from 99 FKM UI students in 2013. The study was conducted from April to Mei 2013. Data collected with self administered questionnaire, Food Recall 2 x 24 hour, dan Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ). Data was analyzed by Chi-square. Sample was selected by stratified random sampling method. The result showed that the prevalence of functional constipation was 52,5%. The results of bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant association between knowledge with incidence of functional constipation (p value = 0,014), there was a significant association between fiber intake with incidence of functional constipation (p value = 0,045), and there was a significant association between body position on defecation with incidence functional constipation (p value = 0,043). Students is expected to further improve the quality of their health so as to reduce the incidence of functional constipation."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian mengenai asupan karbohidrat dan serat pangan dengan proporsi mikrobiota usus pada anak masih belum banyak di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan profil jumlah asupan karbohidrat dan serat pangan pada anak serta hubungannya dengan mikrobiota usus. Mikrobiota usus yang diperiksa adalah Bifidobacterium spp dan Lactobacillus spp mewakili mikrobiota usus baik serta Eschericia dan Clostridium spp mewakili mikrobiota patogen usus.Studi potong lintang dilakukan pada 68 siswa TK usia 4-6 tahun dilakukan selama Januari-Februari 2017 di Jakarta. Data jumlah asupan energi, karbohidrat, serta serat pangan dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan food recall form selama 2x24 jam. Subjek terdiri dari 33 anak perempuan 48 dan 35 anak lelaki 52 , sebagian besar dengan gizi baik dan perawakan normal. Median asupan energi, karbohidrat, dan serat pangan berturut-turut sebanyak 1230 kalori, 158 gram dan 2,4 gram. Tidak didapatkan hubungan bermakna antara asupan karbohidrat dan serat pangan terhadap proporsi mikrobiota ususAsupan karbohidrat dan serat pangan subjek penelitian ini di bawah angka kecukupan gizi AKG yang dianjurkan untuk usia 4-6 tahun. Perbedaan kandungan prebiotik pada asupan karbohidrat maupun serat pangan subjek penelitian ini, mungkin merupakan penyebab perbedaan hasil penelitian ini dengan penelitian diluar negeri. Data yang didapat diharapkan dapat dipergunakan sebagai dasar untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

ABSTRACT
There are not many studies in Indonesia related to gut microbiota, especially in relation with carbohydrate and dietary fiber intake. The objectives of this study are to gain profiles on the amount of carbohydrate and dietary fiber intake in children, and its relations with gut microbiota. The gut microbiota being studied are Bifidobacterium spp and Lactobacillus spp, representing the good microbiota, and Eschericia and Clostridium spp as the pathogen gut microbiota.Cross sectional study was conducted on 68 kindergarten students aged 4 6 years old during the period of January ndash February 2017. The data on energy, carbohydrate and dietary fiber intakes were compiled using food recall form for 48 hours. Subjects consisted of 33 girls 48 and 35 boys 52 majority of them are well nourished and normal stature. Median of the energy, carbohydrate and fiber intake were 1,230 calories, 158 gram and 2.4 gram, consecutively. There was no significant relation between carbohydrate and dietary fiber intakes on the composition of gut microbiota.The intake of carbohydrate and dietary fiber for the subjects of this study was below the Daily Dietary Requirement for children aged 4 6 years old. The discrepancy of prebiotic amount on the carbohydrate and fiber intake might impact the results of this study compared with similar studies abroad. However, the acquired data can be used for basis of future studies in this field."

"Konstipasi mengganggu aktivitas harian penderita namun tidak dianggap sebagai masalah yang serius walaupun kenyataannya menimbulkan komplikasi kesehatan yang dapat mengancam nyawa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kejadian konstipasi fungsional pada mahasiswa S1 Reguler Fakultas Ilmu Keperawatan Universitas Indonesia. Desain yang digunakan adalah deskriptif cross sectional dengan sampel mahasiswa berjumlah 86 orang, diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Instrumen dari penelitian ini adalah kriteria ROME III yang telah dimodifikasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 55,8% mahasiswa mengalami konstipasi fungsional. Promosi kesehatan dengan meningkatkan intake cairan dan asupan serat pada mahasiswa direkomendasikan untuk menurunkan angka kejadian konstipasi fungsional.

Most people overlook constipation despite the fact that It may disrupt daily life. It, furthermore, can lead to serious health problems that will threaten life. This study aimed to identify the incidence of functional constipation amongst undergraduate nursing students at faculty of Nursing Universitas Indonesia. The study employed cross sectional design, involving 86 respondents who were selected by using stratified random sampling. The instrument of the study was modified ROME III criteria. The results showed that 55,8% of total respondents had functional constipation. This study recommended health promotion by increasing fluid intake and fiber intake targeting students to reduce the incidence of functional constipation."

"Skripsi ini membahas hubungan antara indeks massa tubuh (IMT), persen lemak tubuh (PLT), asupan zat gizi makro (kalori, karbohidrat, lemak dan protein), asupan zat gizi mikro (thiamin, riboflavin, piridoksin, vit.C dan Fe), dan aktivitas fisik dengan VO2max. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional yang dilakukan pada 81 mahasiswa Reguler Gizi Kesehatan Masyarakat FKM UI angkatan 2010 dan 2011. VO2max diukur dengan menggunakan alat Fitmate Med Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan negatif antara IMT (r= -0,231) dan persen lemak tubuh (r= -0,447) dengan VO2max pada responden keseluruhan. Terdapat hubungan positif antara asupan Fe (r=0,231), dan aktivitas fisik (r=0,338) dengan VO2max pada responden keseluruhan. Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan sampel yang lebih besar pada atlet dengan pengendalian yang lebih ketat terhadap faktor-faktor lain yang berpotensi menyebabkan bias dalam penelitian agar korelasi variabel indepenen dengan data VO2max dapat merepresentasikan kekuatan hubungan yang sebenarnya.

This thesis discusses the relationship between body mass index (BMI), body fat percent (BFP), the intake of macro nutrients (calories, carbohydrates, fats and proteins), the intake of micro nutrients (thiamin, riboflavin, pyridoxine, vit. C and Fe), and physical activity with VO2max. The study was a quantitative study with cross sectional design conducted in 81 undergraduate students of Public Health University of Indonesia majoring Nutrition in 2012. VO2max was measured by using Fitmate Med. The result of correlation test showed a negative relationship between BMI (r= -0,231) and percent body fat (r= -0,447) with VO2max in the overall respondents. Artifacts positive association between intake of Fe (r=0,231) and physical activity (r=0,338) with VO2max in the overall respondents. There were no significant relationship between other independent variables with VO2max. Further research is needed with larger samples in athletes with a more strict control of other factors that could potentially lead to bias in the study so that the data correlation with VO2max independen variables can represent the real strength of the relationship."

"Energi yang berasal dari zat gizi makro dibutuhkan untuk melakukan metabolisme tubuh, kegiatan fisik, dan pertumbuhan. Kebiasaan konsumsi energi dan zat gizi yang tidak seimbang dengan pola makan yang tidak tepat akan menyebabkan masalah gizi. Sebaliknya, asupan energi dan zat gizi seimbang serta berkualitas dapat mempertahankan kesehatan fisik dan stabilitas mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran asupan energi serta apakah terdapat hubungan dengan mindful eating dan faktor lainnya pada mahasiswa S1 Reguler Gizi FKM UI tahun 2022. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah mindful eating, pengetahuan gizi, uang jajan untuk membeli makanan dan minuman, stress, konsumsi makanan selingan, konsumsi minuman manis, dan durasi tidur. Variabel dependen penelitian ini adalah asupan energi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Juni 2022 kepada 136 mahasiswi tahun angkatan 2019-2021. Data yang digunakan didapatkan dari pengisian kuesioner serta food record weekday dan weekend yang diisi mandiri oleh responden. Sebesar 8.1% mahasiswi S1 Reguler Gizi FKM UI memiliki asupan energi tinggi yaitu > 80% AKG. Analisis statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara stres, konsumsi makanan selingan, dan konsumsi minuman manis dengan asupan energi. Peneliti menyarankan kepada pihak universitas untuk dapat memberikan edukasi terkait pedoman gizi seimbang.

Energy derived from macronutrients is needed to carry out body metabolism, physical activity, and growth. Nutritional problems brought on by inappropriate eating patterns or unbalanced energy and nutrient consumption habits. On the other hand, a balanced and quality intake of energy and nutrients can maintain a person's physical health and mental stability.  The aim of this study was to analyze the relationship between mindful eating and other factors with energy intake in Students of Nutritional Programs at FKM UI. The dependent variable of this study was energy intake, while the independent variables were mindful eating, nutritional knowledge, allowance, stress level, snack consumption and Sugar-sweetened beverages (SSBs) and sleep duration. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from March to June 2022 for 136 nutrition students of class 2019 to 2021. Data was obtained from food record 2x24 hours and online questionnaire. The result show that as many as 8.1% of student consumed high energy intake (fulfilled > 80% of Recommended Dietary Allowances). The result also showed that stress level, snack consumption and SSBs were related to students’ energy intake. Researcher suggest to university to provide education related to balanced nutrition guidelines."

"Serat pangan memiliki banyak manfaat salah satunya mencegah risiko obesitas dan penyakit degeneratif. Mahasiswa yang masih dalam masa remaja menuju dewasa, dianggap masa yang rentan dalam mengonsumsi makanan tinggi kalori dan rendah serat pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan ketersediaan, sikap dan faktor lainnya dengan asupan serat pangan pada mahasiswa kesehatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi cross-sectional dengan total sampel 290 (usia 17-20 tahun) Mahasiswa S1 Reguler Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Indonesia (RIK UI) angkatan 2013 pada tahun 2014. Analisis hubungan menggunakan uji chi square dan regresi logistik ganda. Sebanyak 87,9% responden tidak mencukupi kebutuhan serat pangan perhari dengan rata-rata asupan serat pangan hanya 12,8 g/hari. Faktor yang berhubungan dengan asupan serat pangan responden adalah ketersediaan, sikap dan perilaku diet. Namun tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara pengetahuan gizi, jenis kelamin, preferensi, frekuensi konsumsi makanan berserat pangan, keterpaparan media massa, uang saku dan status tempat tinggal dengan asupan serat pangan harian responden. Ketersediaan makanan berserat pangan adalah faktor dominan yang memengaruhi asupan serat pangan pada mahasiswa S1 Reguler RIK UI angkatan 2013.

Dietary fiber has many benefits in diet, one of which reduced risk of obesity and degenerative diseases. College student who still in emerging adulthood considered in consuming high in calories and low in fiber food. This study aims to determine the relationship of availability and other factors with dietary fiber intake among college students of Rumpun Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Indonesia, angkatan 2013, in 2014. This study used a cross-sectional design with a total sample was 290 (aged 17-20 y.o) students of S1 Regular RIK UI angkatan 2013 in 2014. Relationship analysis using chi square test and multiple logistic regression. A total of 87.9% of respondents did not meet the needs of dietary fiber per day with an average intake of fiber is only 12.8 g/day. The result of bivariat analysis showed that factors that associated with fiber intake in college student was the availability of fibrous foods, attitudes and dieting behaviors. But there is no significant relationship between knowledge, gender, preferences, frequency of consumption of fibrous foods, mass media exposure, pocket money and residency status with daily fiber intake of respondents. Availability of fibrous food is the dominant factor affecting dietary fiber intake among S1 Regular college student of RIK UI, angkatan 2013 in 2014."

ABSTRACT
Fast disintegration film was the solid dosage form which dissolve or
disintegrate in 1 minute with saliva without water or chewing. The purposes of
this research were to prepare and characterize of salbutamol fast disintegration
film containing maltodextrin succinate as an excipient. Maltodextrine succinate
was obtained from succinilation of maltodextrine using succinat anhidride. The
maltodextrine succinate had the characterized as follows : degree of substitution
(DS), 0.18 ± 0.01; pH (5% in aquadest), 6.76 ± 0.03; moisture content, 7.33 ±
0.21%; particle size, 355-710 µm; flow rate, 4.51 ± 0.31 g/secon; swelling index
17.99% and viscosity (25%) 29.14 cps. The fast disintegration film that
containing maltodextrine succinate 5% had weight 24.16 ± 2.1 mg; thickness,
101.5 ± 5.025 µm; disintegration time, 41.5 ± 5.5 secon; moisture content, 50.66 ±
0.09%; assay, 2.10 ± 0,03 mg/film; pH, 5.87 ± 0.03; in vitro drug release, 1
minute, 105.43 ± 0.68 %; tensile strength, 7.007 ± 0.582 kg/cm²; elongation, 1.5
± 0.1%; penetration flux 1.314 µg/cm2.minute. According to hedonic test,
66.67% like the film appearence , 13.33% like the flavour, and disintegration time
were 13.47 ± 3.23%. The result of this study showed that maltodextrine succinate
can be used as excipient for fast disintegration film ."

"Tablet cepat hancur merupakan suatu bentuk sediaan padat yang larut atau hancur dalam 1 menit dalam rongga mulut dengan adanya air liur tanpa minum atau dikunyah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat dan mengkarakterisasi sediaan tablet cepat hancur ketoprofen menggunakan maltodekstrin suksinat sebagai eksipien. Maltodekstrin suksinat yang diperoleh dari suksinilasi maltodekstrin menggunakan anhidrida suksinat memiliki derajat substitusi 0,18 ± 0,01; pH (5% larutan dalam akuadest) 6,76 ± 0,03; kadar air 7,2275 ± 0,21%; ukuran partikel 355 – 710 μm; laju alir 4,51 ± 0,301 g/detik; indeks mengembang selama 4 menit 17,99%; viskositas (25%) 29,14 cps. Tablet cepat hancur yang menggunakan maltodekstrin suksinat 25% memberikan bobot 98,70 ± 3,91 mg; ketebalan 2,99 ± 0,04 mm; diameter 6,08 ± 0,02 mm; kekerasan 2,75 ± 0,54 Kp; keregasan 0,60 ± 0,12%; waktu hancur 15,67 ± 1,37 detik; kadar 104,53 ± 0,002%; pelepasan obat 83,57 ± 8,20% dalam 20 menit; fluks penetrasi rata-rata 0,5473 μg/cm2.menit, sesuai uji kesukaan 70% responden menyukai penampilan tablet; 6,67% responden menyukai rasa tablet serta waktu hancur rata-rata sebesar 225,47 ± 16,16 detik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa eksipien maltodekstrin suksinat dapat digunakan sebagai eksipien utama tablet cepat hancur.

According to hedonic test, 70% like the tablet appearence, 6.67% like the flavour, and disintegration time were 225.47 ± 16.16%.
