"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur hubungan antara tingkat 'self-compassion dengan intensitas perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan pada mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia. Desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional dipilih untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel. Pengukuran tingkat 'self-compassion menggunakan Skala Welas Diri dan intensitas perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan menggunakan 'Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II, dilakukan pada 187 mahasiswa (Laki-laki: 'N = 39, 20,9%; Perempuan: 'N = 148, 79,1%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 'self-compassion memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan ['r(187) = 0,593, 'p < 0,01].
Kemampuan mahasiswa menunjukkan kasih sayang pada dirinya beriringan dengan peningkatan intensitas perilaku sehat dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari. Temuan ini semakin diperkuat dengan ditemukannya perbedaan rata-rata intensitas perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan yang signifikan di antara tiga tingkatan 'self-compassion, yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah ['F2(184) = 45,403; 'p = 0,000]. Di mana, mahasiswa dengan tingkat 'self-compassion tinggi menunjukkan intensitas perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan yang lebih tinggi, diikuti secara berurutan oleh mahasiswa dengan tingkat 'self-compassion sedang dan rendah.

This research measured the relationship between self-compassion and health promoting behaviors among undergraduate students at Universitas Indonesia. Quantitative research design and correlational methods were used to answer the research question. The level of self-compassion measured by Skala Welas Diri and the intensity of health-promoting behaviors measured by Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II. 187 participants participated in this research (Male: N = 39, 20,9%; Female: N = 148, 79,1%), shows that there is a significant positive relationship between self-compassion and health-promoting behaviors among undergraduate students [r(187) = 0,593, p < 0,01].
Student's ability to be kind to themselves is followed by an increase in the intensity of displaying healthy behavior in their daily lives. This finding is strengthened by ANOVA test results that compute the mean difference of HPLP-II score between the level of self-compassion (high, moderate, and low). The result shows that there is a significant mean difference between the level of self-compassion [F2(184) = 45,403; p = 0,000]. Students with a high level of self-compassion show a higher intensity of health-promoting behavior, followed sequentially by students with moderate and low levels of self-compassion.

This study aims to investigate the positive and significant correlation between dimensions of health promoting behavior and self compassion in emerging adulthood. Respondents in this study consist of 805 emerging adulthood from various regions in Indonesia. "Tingginya tuntutan akademik akibat Revolusi Industri 4.0 mempengaruhi stres akademik yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa sarjana saat ini. Salah satu kemampuan yang dapat membantu mahasiswa menghadapi stres akademik adalah learned resourcefulness Terkait dengan situasi sulit, kehadiran self-compassion diprediksi berperan dalam menjelaskan kekuatan hubungan antara learned resourcefulness dan stres akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara learned resourcefulness dan stres akademik pada mahasiswa sarjana di Indonesia dengan self-compassion sebagai moderator. Pengambilan data pada penelitian dilakukan secara daring melalui penyebaran kuesioner yang memuat alat ukur Perception of Academic Stress Scale (PASS), Self Control Schedule (SCS), dan Self Compassion Scale (SCS). Berdasarkan hasil analisis terhadap 151 partisipan, self-compassion tidak memberikan peran signifikan pada hubungan antara learned resourcefulness dan stres akademik, F(3,147) = 14.712, p > .05. Namun demikian, hasil analisis juga menemukan adanya hubungan langsung dari  variabel learned resourcefulness (b = -.073, p < .05) dan self-compassion (b = -3.3984, p < .05) terhadap stres akademik. Diskusi mengenai hasil dan implikasi penelitian ini akan dibahas lebih lanjut.

The high academic demands due to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 affect the academic stress experienced by undergraduate students. Learned resourcefulness is one of the skills that can help students deal with academic stress. Related to difficult situations, the presence of self-compassion is predicted to play a role in explaining the strength of the relationship between learned resourcefulness and academic stress. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between learned resourcefulness and academic stress in Indonesian undergraduate students, with self-compassion as a moderator. The data used for the research was collected online through the distribution of questionnaires containing Perception of Academic Stress Scale (PASS), Self Control Schedule (SCS), dan Self Compassion Scale (SCS). Based on the analysis of 151 participants, self-compassion did not significantly influence the relationship between learned resourcefulness and academic stress, F(3,147) = 14.712, p > .05. However, the results of the analysis also found a direct relationship between learned resourcefulness (b = -.073, p < .05) and self-compassion (b = -3.3984, p < .05) on academic stress. The research's findings and implications will be discussed further."

"Tuntutan perkuliahan yang tinggi terutama dalam konteks pembelajaran daring dapat
menyebabkan academic burnout pada mahasiswa. Academic burnout dapat berdampak
pada kesejahteraan psikologis dan kelancaran perkuliahan mahasiswa, sehingga selfcompassion
diprediksi dapat menjadi strategi coping yang efektif. Penelitian ini menguji
hubungan antara self-compassion dan academic burnout pada mahasiswa program
sarjana, dengan menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale versi adaptasi bahasa Indonesia
(Sugianto dkk., 2020) dan Oldenburg Burnout Inventory Student Version (Reis dkk.,
2015). Partisipan berasal dari Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, dan
Universitas Gadjah Mada (N=291). Hasil penelitian mendukung hipotesis penelitian ini.
Ditemukan bahwa self-compassion memiliki hubungan negatif yang signifikan dengan
academic burnout (r = -0,43, p <0,01). Artinya, mahasiswa yang memiliki selfcompassion
yang tinggi, akan memiliki kecenderungan yang rendah untuk mengalami
academic burnout. Mahasiswa pada penelitian ini termasuk pada kategori kelompok yang
burnout (M=2,79, SD=0,45), dimana metode pembelajaran daring berperan pada hal
tersebut.

High study demands at college especially in online learning can make an impact on
academic burnout for the students. Academic burnout can affect the psychological wellbeing
and the smoothness journey of student's college life, thus self-compassion is
predicted to be the effective coping strategies for them. This study examines the
relationship between self-compassion and academic burnout in undergraduate students,
using Self-Compassion Scale Indonesian adaptation version (Sugianto et al., 2020) and
Oldenburg Burnout Inventory Student Version (Reis et al., 2015). The participants were
from Universitas Indonesia, Institut Teknologi Bandung, and Universitas Gadjah Mada
(N=291). The result of this study supports the hypothesis of this study. Namely, selfcompassion
has the negatively significant relationship with academic burnout (r = -0,43,
p <0,01). That means, student who have high self-compassion, would likely have a low
tendency of academic burnout. The students in this study is categorized in burnout group
(M=2,79, SD=0,45), whereas online learning method could take a role in this.

"Pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ) di perguruan tinggi Indonesia menghadirkan sejumlah tantangan besar, terutama di tengah masa pandemi Covid-19. Self-efficacy dalam pembelajaran daring diketahui menjadi komponen penting bagi mahasiswa untuk menghadapinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara self-compassion dengan self-efficacy dalam pembelajaran daring pada mahasiswa program sarjana yang tengah menjalani perkuliahan daring secara penuh. Partisipan penelitian (N=290) merupakan mahasiswa S1 dari UI, ITB, dan UGM yang berusia 18-23 tahun. Mereka diukur menggunakan Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Online Learning (SeQoL) dan Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). Ketiga institusi pendidikan ini dipilih atas dasar klasterisasi perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang melihat adanya perbedaan kualitas dalam pembelajaran daring. Hasil pengujian korelasi Pearson menunjukkan bahwa self-compassion yang dimiliki mahasiswa berhubungan secara signifikan dan positif dengan self-efficacy dalam pembelajaran daring (r(290) = 0,42, p < 0,01). Hubungan positif dan signifikan terkuat ditemukan pada komponen self-kindness dengan dimensi self-efficacy dalam berinteraksi sosial dengan teman sekelas. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman baru mengenai kondisi mahasiswa dalam konteks pembelajaran daring.

The implementation of distance learning among higher education institutions in Indonesia presents a number of challenges, especially in the midst of Covid-19. Self-efficacy in online learning context is known to be one of core component for students to deal with it. This study aimed to examine the relationship between self-compassion and online learning self-efficacy among undergraduate students who are undergoing full online lectures. Research participants (N= 290) are undergraduate students from UI, ITB, and UGM, aged between 18-23 years old. They were measured using Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Online Learning (SeQoL) and Self-Compassion Scale (SCS). These three institutions were selected on the basis of a clusterization among universities in Indonesia, which saw differences in the quality of online learning. The Pearson correlation’s result showed that the students' self-compassion had a significant and positive relationship with online learning self-efficacy (r(290) = 0,42, p < 0,01). The strongest positive and significant relationship was found in self-kindness with dimension self-efficacy in social interaction with classmates. This study presents a new understanding of the students’ conditions in the context of online learning."

"Penerapan perilaku sehat seperti konsumsi makanan sehat, olahraga, penting untuk dikembangkan sejak usia remaja, salah satunya pada Mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia untuk meminimalisir konsekuensi negatif jangka panjang yang akan terjadi di masa yang akan datang. Terdapat hal yang mempengaruhi penerapan perilaku sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek moderasi dari self-compassion terhadap hubungan antara perceived stress dan perilaku sehat. Penelitian ini melibatkan 352 partisipan dengan usia berkisar 18-22 tahun. Pengukuran perilaku sehat dilakukan melalui alat ukur perilaku sehat yang dikembangkan oleh tim payung penelitian perilaku sehat Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia tahun 2016 berdasarkan indikator dari Sarafino dan Smith (2011). Pengukuran perceived stress dilakukan melalui adaptasi alat ukur perceived stress scale (PSS) oleh Cohen et al., (1983). Pengukuran self-compassion dilakukan melalui adaptasi self-compassion scale oleh Neff (2003). Data dianalisis menggunakan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) dan Pearson Correlation. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived stress berpengaruh signifikan dengan perilaku sehat. Hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa terdapat efek moderasi yang signifikan dari self-compassion terhadap hubungan antara perceived stress dan perilaku sehat.

Healthy behaviors such as consumption of healthy food and exercise are important to be developed by people in their young age, ones of which are students at Universitas Indonesia, in order to minimize the long-term negative consequences that may occur in the future. There are things that affect the implementation of healthy behavior. This study aims to determine the moderating effect of self-compassion on the relationship between perceived stress and healthy behavior. This study involved 352 participants with ages ranging from 18-22 years. The measurement of healthy behavior was carried out through a healthy behavior measurement tool developed by the umbrella team for healthy behavior research at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia in 2016 based on indicators from Sarafino and Smith (2011). Perceived stress measurement was conducted using the adaptation of the perceived stress scale (PSS) measurement tool by Cohen et al., (1983). Measurement of self-compassion was carried out through an adaptation of the self-compassion scale by Neff (2003). Data were analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) and Pearson Correlation. The results showed that perceived stress had a significant effect on healthy behavior. The results also showed that there is a significant moderating effect of self-compassion on the relationship between perceived stress and healthy behavior."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah self-compassion memediasi hubungan antara perceived social support dengan gejala depresi. Menimbang hasil penelitian bahwa gangguan psikologis terutama depresi paling rentan dialami oleh individu usia 18 hingga 25 tahun, maka gejala depresi penting untuk diperhatikan pada periode emerging adulthood. Desain penelitian ini yaitu korelasional. Jumlah partisipan 803 partisipan usia 18 hingga 25 tahun, dengan ketentuan belum menikah dan belum mempunyai anak. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MPSS), General Health Questionnaire-1 2 (GHQ-12), dan Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form (SCS-SF). Hasil pengujian statistik membuktikan bahwa self-compassion memediasi secara parsial hubungan antara perceived social support dan gejala depresi, dengan indirect effect(β = - .067, p = 0.0000) dan direct effect(β = - .081, p = 0.0000) yang signifikan. Hasil analisis mediasi menunjukan perceived social support dapat langsung melewati gejala depresi atau melewati self-compassion terlebih dahulu. Individu yang mempersepsi mendapatkan perceived social support yang tinggi, akan merasa dirinya berharga dan berusaha menoleransi kondisi sulit yang dialami, sehingga memunculkan pemberian kebaikan pada diri sendiri dan mengurangi gejala depresi.

This study aims to determine whether self-compassion mediates the relationship between perceived social support and depressive symptoms. Considering the results under study that psychological disorders, especially depression, are the most susceptible to individuals aged 18 to 25 years, whose symptoms of depression are important to pay attention to what appears. The design of this study is correlational. Number of participants 803 participants aged 18 to 25 years, provided that they were single and had no children. The instrument in this study is Multidimensional Scale of Social Perception Support (MPSS), Public Health Questionnaire-12 (GHQ-12), and Self-Compassion Scale-Short Form (SCSSF). Statistical test results have shown that self-compassion partially mediates the relationship between perceived social support and depressive symptoms, with significant indirect effects (β = - .067, p = 0.0000) and direct effects (β = - 081, p = 0.0000). The results of the mediation analysis show that perceived social support can directly influence depressive symptoms or affect self-compliance = first. Emerging adults who feel they have high perceived social support, will feel themselves worthy and try to tolerate difficult conditions that are experienced, thus providing good for themselves and reducing symptoms of depression."

"Self-efficacy perguruan tinggi penting untuk diperhatikan pada masa-masa awal perkuliahan karena menentukan kegigihan dan keberhasilan akademik siswa kedepannya. Kemanjuran diri perguruan tinggi didefinisikan oleh Solberg et al. (1993) sebagai tingkat kepercayaan siswa memiliki kemampuan untuk melakukan tugas-tugas terkait dengan perkuliahan. Studi ini melihat hubungan antara efikasi diri perguruan tinggi dengan melibatkan welas asih, yaitu wujud kepedulian individu dalam caring dirinya saat dia kurang, membuat kesalahan, gagal, atau mengalami situasi menyakitkan dalam hidup (Neff, 2003). Analisis statistik digunakan adalah korelasi Pearson. Sebanyak 213 siswa berusia 18-21 tahun tahun pertama (perempuan = 157 dan laki-laki = 56) menjadi peserta dalam penelitian ini ini. Belas kasihan diukur menggunakan SCS-26 dan kemanjuran diri perguruan tinggi diukur menggunakan CSEI. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif yang signifikan antara belas kasihan dan efikasi diri perguruan tinggi pada siswa tahun pertama (r (213) = .498, p <.001), sehingga dapat dikatakan semakin tinggi rasa kasih sayang yang dimiliki siswa tahun pertama semakin tinggi kemanjuran diri perguruan tinggi yang dimiliki.

Higher education self-efficacy is important to pay attention to in the early days of lectures because it determines the persistence and academic success of students going forward. College self-efficacy defined by Solberg et al. (1993) as the level of confidence students have the ability to do tasks related to lectures. This study looked at the relationship between college self-efficacy and involving compassion, which is a form of individual care in caring for himself when he is lacking, makes mistakes, fails, or experiences painful situations in life (Neff, 2003). The statistical analysis used was Pearson correlation. A total of 213 students aged 18-21 years of the first year (girls = 157 and boys = 56) participated in this study. Compassion was measured using the SCS-26 and college self-efficacy was measured
using CSEI. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between compassion and college self-efficacy in first-year students (r (213) = .498, p <.001), so it can be said that the higher the feeling of affection that year students have. first, the higher the self-efficacy of the university.

"Dewasa muda usia 18 hingga 29 tahun merupakan tahap perkembangan yang memiliki berbagai tugas tuntutan perkembangan, penting untuk para dewasa muda melakukan perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan. Semestinya, pada periode dewasa muda seseorang sudah mulai menetapkan kebiasaan hidup sehat, karena kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang dilakukan pada masa periode ini, akan membentuk pola kebiasaan dan kesehatannya di kemudian hari. Pada nantinya perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan tersebut dapat memengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektifnya.
Penelitiaan ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dimensi perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan subjektif pada dewasa muda. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 806 orang yang berasal dari berbagai daerah yang ada di Indonesia. Perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan diukur dengan Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II HPLP II dan kesejahteraan subjektif diukur dengan Subjective Happiness Scale SHS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dan diolah menggunakan teknik analisis partial correlation. Kedua alat ukur tersebut telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dimensi perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan perkembangan spiritual dan manajemen stres berhubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kesejahteraan subjektif. Sedangkan, dimensi perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan tanggung jawab kesehatan, aktivitas fisik, nutrisi, dan hubungan interpersonal tidak berhubungan signifikan dengan kesejahteraan subjektif. Dengan demikian, semakin tinggi perkembangan spiritual dan manajemen stres yang dimiliki individu maka akan semakin tinggi pula kesejahteraan subjektif yang dimiliki seseorang.

Emerging adulthood 18 ndash 29 years old are developmenta stages that have various tasks of developmental demands, important for emerging adulthood to implement health promoting behavior. Supposedly, in the period of emerging adulthood, a person has begun to establish healthy life habits, because the habits performed during this period, will form the pattern of habits and health in the future. In the future, health promoting behavior can affect subjective well being.
This study aims to find out the relationship between health promoting behavior and subjective well being in emerging adulthood. Respondents in this study amounted to 806 emerging adulthood from various regions in Indonesia. Health promoting behavior were measured by Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II HPLP II and subjective well being were measured by Subjective Happiness Scale SHS. This study was a correlation study using a partial correlation method. Both of the instrument has been adapted in Bahasa Indonesia.
The result indicated that spiritual growth and stress management are significant positive correlations with subjective well being. Meanwhile, health responsibility, physical activity, nutrition, and interpersonal relationship are not significantly correlated to subjective well being.Thus, the higher of spiritual growth and stress management then the higher of subjective well being.

"Bergesernya usia penderita penyakit tidak menular seperti jantung, stroke dan lain-lain ke individu usia dewasa muda menjadi perhatian. Dewasa muda yang berusia 18-29 tahun memiliki beragam tugas perkembangan rentan melakukan kebiasaan tidak sehat yang berujung pada timbulnya penyakit. Perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan penting dilakukan untuk dapat meningkatkan kesehatan. Perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan dapat dipengaruhi oleh beragam faktor salah satunya health locus of control.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki hubungan antara perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan dan health locus of control pada dewasa muda. Penelitian dilakukan kepada 800 orang responden berusia 18-29 tahun. Perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan diukur menggunakan Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II HPLP II dan health locus of control diukur menggunakan Multidimensional Health Locus of Control MHLC.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan dimensi tanggung jawab kesehatan dengan health locus of control dimensi powerful others, dimensi perkembangan spiritual dengan health locus of control dimensi internal, dan dimensi manajemen stress dengan health locus of control dimensi internal. Terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan pada perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan dimensi tanggung jawab kesehatan dengan health locus of control dimensi internal dan dimensi manajemen stress dengan health locus of control dimensi powerful others. Selain dari dimensi yang telah disebutkan, tidak terdapat hubungan antara perilaku mempromosikan kesehatan dengan health locus of control.

Shifting age of people with non communicable diseases such as heart disease, stroke and others into young adulthood are of concern. Emerging adults in the age range aged 18 29 years have various developmental tasks vulnerable to unhealthy habits that led to the onset of disease. Health promoting behavior is important to improve health. Health promoting behavior can be influenced by various factors such as health locus of control.
This study aims to investigate the relationship between health promoting behavior and health locus of control in young adults. The study was conducted to 800 respondents aged 18 29 years. Health promoting behavior was measured using Health Promoting Lifestyle Profile II HPLP II and health locus of control measured using Multidimensional Health Locus of Control MHLC.
The results showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between health responsibility dimension of health promoting behavior with powerful others health locus of control, spiritual growth with internal health locus of control, and stress management with internal health locus of control. There is a negative and significant relationship between health responsibility with internal health locus of control and stress management dimensions with powerful others health locus of control. Apart from the mentioned dimensions, there is no relationship between health promoting behavior and health locus of control.
