"Persaingan industri daur ulang sampah plastik yang semakin kompetitif menuntut perusahaan untuk terus berkembang dan melakukan improvement agar dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya. Persaingan yang sangat kompetitif ditambah dengan meningkatnya permintaan plastik daur ulang saat masa pandemi menekan pabrik manufaktur untuk meningkatkan dimensi operasional mereka. Salah satu dimensi operasional yang sangat penting adalah gudang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu perusahaan daur ulang sampah plastik di Indonesia dengan pendekatan lean warehouse untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan yang masih terjadi pada gudang bahan baku dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk mengeliminasi pemborosan agar tercapai proses pergudangan yang efisien. Setelah dilakukan identifikasi waste diketahui bahwa terdapat 3 pemborosan kritis yang terjadi pada gudang bahan baku yaitu overprocessing, waiting, dan transportation. Setelah itu beberapa rekomendasi perbaikan diusulkan untuk menghilangkan pemborosan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lead time proses pergudangan yang terbatas pada gudang bahan baku terjadi penurunan sebesar 42% dari 12661 detik menjadi 7314 detik dan terjadi pengurangan rasio non-value added activity dari 33% menjadi 8%.

The increasingly competitive plastic waste recycling industry requires companies to continue to develop and make improvements in order to maintain their existence. The intense competition coupled with the increasing demand for recycled plastic during the pandemic has pressured manufacturers to increase their operational dimensions. One very important operational dimension is the warehouse. This research was conducted at one of the plastic waste recycling companies in Indonesia with a lean warehouse approach to identify waste that still occurs in raw material warehouses and provide recommendations for improvements to eliminate waste in order to achieve an efficient warehousing process. After identifying waste, it is known that there are 3 critical wastes that occur in the raw material warehouse, namely overprocessing, waiting, and transportation. After that several recommendations for improvement are proposed to eliminate the waste. The results showed that the lead time of the warehousing process which was limited to the raw material warehouse decreased by 42% from 12661 seconds to 7314 seconds and there was a reduction in the ratio of non-value added activity from 33% to 8%.

"ABSTRAK
Kualitas sampah kemasan plastik yang rendah menjadi kendala bagi kualitas hasil proses daur ulang mekanikal dan sebaliknya kapasitas produksi daur ulang menjadi pembatas saat bahan baku berlebih. Penciptaan nilai kualitas sampah plastik dengan paradigma perbaikan kualitas sampah diubah dengan paradigma konservasi nilai material melalui rancangan kemasan ramah daur ulang dan kepedulian pemangku kepentingan. Peningkatan jumlah bahan baku berkualitas tinggi diantisipasi dengan kehadiran sistem manufaktur terintegrasi berbasis wilayah dengan dukungan pemangku kepentingan dan komunitas. Skema pengembangan sistem manufaktur terintegrasi di sembilan kota di Jawa Barat berpotensi meningkatkan pemanfaatan sampah kemasan plastik kaku hingga tersisa hanya 6% di tahun 2025 dengan volume produksi 270 ton bijih plastik hasil daur ulang berkualitas tinggi setiap hari. Pengusahaan yang layak secara finansial dan ekonomi serta membantu pengurangan sampah plastik yang tidak terkelola ini memerlukan dukungan regulasi serta penerapannya secara konsisten dan berkelanjutan. Serangkaian rencana implementasi program dan jadwal pelaksanaannya diajukan dalam penelitian ini.

ABSTRACT
Low quality of plastic waste is a constraint of mechanical recycling product quality, while limitation of capacity is a counter-productive within a surplus of higher quality raw materials. Quality value creation with plastic waste quality improvement paradigm should be shifted to material value conservation paradigm through design for recycling of plastic packaging and awareness of its stakeholders. Surplus of higher quality of plastic waste anticipated with integrated manufacturing systems for a region and stakeholders as well as community awareness. A development scheme of this system for nine cities in West Java will increase rigid plastic waste utilization with only 6% unmanaged waste in 2025 and produce 270 metric tons/day of high quality recycled plastic pellets. Viability of business both in financial as well as economic measures and its role in unmanaged waste reduction need a proper regulation with a consistent and sustainable implementation. A set of program implementation plans as well as its time schedule proposed in this research."

" Cold recycling is one of technology alternative which can be prefered in selecting the strategy alternative for road rehabilitation project. Learning about the development technology, we also learn about the weaknesses of it. The pavement assessment condition, which sustain heavy traffic load in the road trial, has been identified. In order to evaluate the performance of recycling technology, laboratory testing for material and mixture as well as field observation have been conducted. The evaluations consist of material properties , mixture construction and pavement performance since the the opening traffic until the age of construction in approximately 2 years. The result of laboratory test shows that the mixture strength criteria meet the specification , whereas the field assessment based on functional condition and from structural pavement indicates that pavement performance decreases, this shown by occurring rutting in the some parts of the wheel track. Based from this result , it is predicted that there is a correlation between material, mixture and construction methods and pavement service life. The construction method should be developed in the future to minimize early deterioration. This paper describes about the evaluation result for recycling technology with binder material of a foam bitumen which have been used in road link with heavy traffic load Jatibarang- Palimanan, Pantura, West Java. "

"Konsep lean merupakan salah satu prinsip dalam lean yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dengan mengeliminasi pemborosan sehingga berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan proses kerja yang lebih efektif dan efisien. Konsep lean dapat dipetakan menggunakan value stream mapping. Value stream mapping merupakan teknik memvisualisasikan aktivitas yang menambah nilai dan tidak menambah nilai dalam aliran proses dan informasi. Salah satu industri manufaktur yang telah memberikan kontribusi secara signifikan terhadap perekonomian adalah industri alas kaki. Akan tetapi, sejak akhir tahun 2022, industri alas kaki mengalami penurunan order yang membuat persaingan yang ketat antar industri alas kaki untuk tetap dapat mempertahankan eksistensinya. Persaingan yang kompetitif membuat perusahaan ingin meningkatkan proses produksinya. Salah satu elemen yang cukup berpengaruh dalam peningkatan produktivitas proses produksi adalah proses pergudangan. Proses pergudangan pada PT Sepatu Y saat ini masih memiliki lead time yang tinggi. Lead time merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam performa gudang. Lead time yang tinggi dapat terjadi karena masih terdapatnya proses pemborosan pada pergudangan terutama pada pemborosan transportation, overprocessing dan waiting. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menggunakan konsep lean dan metode value stream mapping dengan tujuan untuk mengurangi pemborosan dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses pergudangan. Penggunaan value stream mapping yang dilanjutkan dengan identifikasi pemborosan dan analisis fishbone dapat membantu untuk mendapatkan akar masalah yang akan digunakan untuk membuat usulan perbaikan. Failure mode and effect analysis diperlukan untuk membantu dalam memprioritaskan akar masalah berdasarkan nilai RPN. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kinerja gudang bahan baku yang ditandai dengan pengurangan lead time sebesar 29,96%, pengurangan processing time sebesar 31,59%, pengurangan waktu non-value added activity sebesar 70,12%, pengurangan waktu non-value added but necessary activity sebesar 66,47% dan peningkatan rasio value-added activity sebesar 26,55%. Rencana perbaikan yang diusulkan dalam rangka mengeliminasi pemborosan adalah pembuatan standar operasional prosedur pada sistem penjadwalan dan gudang, penerapan lean 5S, penerapan sistem FIFO dalam aliran pergudangan, perancangan standar pengemasan, dan penerapan digitalisasi data.

The notion of lean is one of the concepts of lean that strives to enhance processes by removing waste so that they impact the improvement of work processes that are more effective and efficient. Value stream mapping may be used to map Lean ideas. Value stream mapping is a technique for visualizing actions that contribute and do not add value in process and information flow. The footwear industry is one of the manufacturing businesses that has contributed considerably to the economy. However, since the end of 2022, the footwear business has witnessed a fall in orders, resulting in fierce rivalry among the footwear sector to sustain its survival. Companies are motivated to enhance their manufacturing processes as a result of competitive pressure. One significant factor that is quite influential in increasing the productivity of the production process is the warehousing process. The warehousing process at PT Sepatu Y currently still has a high lead time. Lead time is a crucial metric for measuring warehouse performance. High lead times can occur because warehousing still has inefficient procedures, namely waste of transportation, overprocessing, and waiting. As a result, this research employs lean ideas and value stream mapping methodologies in order to reduce waste and improve the efficiency of the warehousing operation. The use of value stream mapping followed by identification of waste and fishbone analysis can help to get to the root of the problem which will be used to make suggestions for improvements. Failure mode and effect analysis is needed to assist in prioritizing the root of the problem based on the RPN value. According to the results of this study indicate that, raw material warehouse performance has improved, as evidenced by a reduction in lead time of 29.96%, a reduction in processing time of 31.59%, a reduction in non-value added activity time of 70.12%, a reduction in non-value time added but necessary activity of 66.47%, and an increase in the value-added activity ratio of 26.55%. The proposed improvement plan in order to eliminate wastes includes the development of standard operating procedures in scheduling and warehouse systems, the implementation of lean 5S, the use of the FIFO method in warehousing flow, the establishment of packaging standards, and the use of data digitalization."

"Dewasa ini pencemaran lingkungan akibat sampah di Indonesia kian mengkhawatirkan, satu dari sekian banyak sampah tersebut adalah sampah wadah berbahan PET (polyethylene terephthalate), yakni jenis plastik transparan yang umumnya digunakan sebagai botol atau gelas sekali pakai untuk air minum kemasan. Salah satu penyebab pencemaran sampah wadah PET adalah tingginya tingkat konsumsi masyarakat yang tidak dibarengi dengan kebiasaan untuk melakukan pengelolaan dan daur ulang sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang dialami masyarakat terkait pengelolaan sampah wadah PET serta faktor-faktor yang dapat mendorong kesediaan warung kelontong untuk turut berperan sebagai mitra tempat penukaran sampah wadah PET. Warung kelontong dipilih sebagai mitra tempat penukaran mengingat luasnya jaringan warung kelontong yang dapat dengan mudah dijangkau oleh masyarakat. Pada penelitian ini, digunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengidentifikasi masalah dan kebutuhan dengan melakukan studi literatur, wawancara terhadap masyarakat dan warung kelontong, serta analisis kompetitor terhadap beberapa penyedia layanan pengelolaan sampah yang ada saat ini. Data dan informasi yang telah diidentifikasi kemudian dianalisis hingga menghasilkan tema-tema yang dipetakan menjadi solusi dalam bentuk fitur dan alur sistem. Berdasarkan solusi dan rancangan business model canvas sebagai landasan bisnis, penelitian ini berhasil mengembangkan waste management system berbasis aplikasi mobile dan web yang dinamakan Trastic (Trade Plastic). Sistem Trastic terdiri dari aplikasi mobile untuk masyarakat menukarkan sampah wadah PET, aplikasi mobile untuk mitra warung kelontong menerima dan mengelola penukaran sampah, serta aplikasi web untuk admin mengelola dan memonitor keseluruhan operasional aplikasi. Setelah sistem berhasil dikembangkan, dilakukan pengujian fungsionalitas sistem melalui user acceptance test (UAT) terhadap masyarakat dan pihak warung kelontong. Diperoleh bahwa seluruh skenario pengujian berhasil dilakukan dan sistem Trastic berhasil memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat dalam menukarkan sampah wadah PET serta memenuhi kebutuhan pihak warung kelontong untuk menerima dan mengelola penukaran sampah. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu mengurangi pencemaran sampah wadah PET, sekaligus meningkatkan pengunjung dan memberikan pendapatan tambahan bagi warung kelontong yang menjadi mitra tempat penukaran.

Nowadays, environmental pollution due to waste in Indonesia is getting worse. One of the many kinds of waste is PET (polyethylene terephthalate) container waste, a type of plastic that is transparent and commonly used for packaged disposable drinking bottles or cups. One of the causes of PET container waste pollution is people’s high consumption of PET containers without being accompanied by the habit of managing and recycling waste. This research aims to identify the problems of managing PET container waste faced by society and the driving factors of grocery stalls’ readiness to take parts for PET container waste exchange partners. Grocery stalls were chosen as the exchange partners because of the vast network of grocery stalls, which makes them easily reachable by the community. This research identifies problems and needs using qualitative methods by conducting a literature study, interviews with the community and grocery stalls, and competitor analysis of several existing waste management service providers. The identified data and information are then analyzed to produce themes and mapped to solutions in the forms of features and system flows. Based on the solution and business model canvas as the business foundation, this research successfully developed a mobile application and web-based waste management system named Trastic (Trade Plastic). he Trastic system consists of a mobile application for the community to exchange PET container waste, a mobile app for the grocery stall partners to receive and manage waste exchange, and a web application for the admin to manage and monitor the whole application operation. After the system has been successfully developed, the system functionality is tested through a user acceptance test (UAT) to the community and the grocery stall. It was found that all tests were successful, and the Trastic system has succeeded in meeting the community’s needs in exchanging PET container waste and meeting the needs of grocery stalls to receive and manage the waste exchange. The results of this study are expected to contribute to reducing environmental pollution due to PET container waste that is not appropriately managed, as well as helping to increase visitors and provide additional income for grocery stalls that become exchange partners."

"The implementation of lean concepts is to reduce or eliminate the wastes that occur during production process. One common form of waste that occurs frequently is waste caused by
product defects. The object of this research is packaging process at a company that specializes in the processing of milk powder. The objective of this research is to find out the sources of
defects due to sealing failure, and then develop the proposed remedial action plan to reduce these defects. Research data has been collected and analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively by
quality control tools. It was found there are 11 known causes of failed
seals, and the main causes are the condition of the sealer, cutting knife, and the characteristics of semi-finished products. The study concluded 13 corrective action plans, focused on increasing skills and awareness of operators, standardization and size of packaging machinery, and machine maintenance. It is also estimated
that the remedial actions will result in reduction of defective products
due to failed seals by 71.5% or a savings of 10.75 tons of powdered milk per month."

"Penelitian bertujuan mengkaji kuantitas. Kualitas, kelayakan ekologis dan ekonomis pembuatan nata de pina limbah cair nanas (LCN). Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan yaitu (A) LCN tanpa penambahan nutrisi; (B) LCN dengan penambahan nutrisi dan (C) LCN penyimpanan 6 bulan dengan penambahan nutrisi. Produk nata meliputi berat, tebal, warna, kecerahan. Kandungan serat dan sisa limbah dianalisis dengan Anova. Analisis deskriptif untuk kelayakan ekologis dan ekonomi. Hasil penelitian terdapat perbedaan yang sangat nyata perlakuan fermentasi LCN. Ketebalan nata berturut-turut dari dari tinggi kerendah perlakuan B 1,58 cm A 1,24 cm, dan C 0,88 cm. Berat nata B 889 gr, A 616,4 gr, dan C 477, 8 gr. Kadar serat C 9,3%, B 7,6% dan A 6,9% dengan kualitas warna, kecerahan, dan serat, sesuai standar untuk makanan. Pembuatan nata de pina mengurangi volume LCN 46,2-89,1% (Sig. 0,001). Berdasarkan baku mutu limbah, biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD) dan total suspended solid (TSS) di bawah ambang batas yang dipersyaratkan kecuali pH. Secara ekonomi pembuatan nata depina layak (BC ratio 4,7). Secara keseluruhan pembuatan nata de pina dari LCN menghasilkan nata yang baik serta layak secara ekologis dan ekonomis.

This research aims to study the quantity, quality, ecological and economic feasibility of nata de pina production (NP) from pineapple liquid waste (PLW). The design of the study employs complete random design (CRD) with three treatments: PLW without nutrients addition (A), PLW nutrients addition (B), and PLW stored for six months with nutrients addition (C). The nata de pina?s production factors measured were weight, thickness, fiber content, color, brightness, and residual waste. The highest weight was reached in treatment B (899 grams), followed by treatment A (616.4 grams), and C (477.8 grams). The thickness of NP of the height and low as in treatment B (1.58 cm) followed by treatment A (1.24 cm) and C (0.88 cm), respectively. The highest fiber content was found in treatment C (9.3%) followed by treatment B (7.6%) and A (6.9%), respectively. Th e fiber content, along with color quality and brightness fit with food standards. The production of NP may reduce the volume of the PLW from 46.2% to 89.1% (p=0.001). Based on the standard value of biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), total suspended solid (TSS) below to the required threshold except pH. The production of NP is economically feasible to 4.7 BC ratio. The overal manufacture of nata de pina from PLW produces better and feasible product ecologically and economically."

"Tren pendapatan pasar logistik meningkat secara signifikan karena didorong oleh peningkatan kebutuhan masyarakat saat pandemi dan tren berbelanja secara daring. Oleh karena itu, industri logistik dituntut untuk terus berinovasi agar performa perusahaannya tetap terjaga dan kepuasan pelanggan dapat terus terpenuhi. Pengiriman barang dalam waktu yang singkat dan barang yang tetap terjaga kualitasnya merupakan nilai utama dalam pemenuhan kepuasan pelanggan. Peningkatan permintaan jasa juga dialami oleh oleh PT X Indonesia sebagai industri jasa Courier, Express, and Parcel (CEP) sehingga perusahaan perlu untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses dan kinerja proses pergudangannya. Hal ini dapat dicapai dengan mengurangi pemborosan yang ada pada proses dan mengeliminasi aktivitas yang tidak memberikan nilai (non value added activity). Value stream mapping sebagai metode penerapan konsep lean memiliki tujuan untuk memetakan aliran material dan informasi dalam suatu proses. Dalam penelitian ini, value stream mapping dapat membantu untuk menggambarkan proses secara menyeluruh dan mengidentifikasi pemborosan pada proses pergudangan. Kemudian dilakukan analisis akar masalah menggunakan ishikawa diagram dan analisis risiko yang ditimbulkan dengan tools FMEA untuk menemukan pemborosan kritis dan merancang usulan perbaikan untuk mengurangi pemborosan tersebut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lead time proses pergudangan berkurang 37,9%, processing time berkurang 12,5%, dan value added ratio proses pergudangan meningkat menjadi 21,95%.

The trend of logistics market revenue increased significantly because it was driven by the increase in people's needs during the pandemic and the trend of shopping online. Therefore, the logistics industry is required to continue to innovate so that the company's performance is maintained and customer satisfaction can be continuously met. Delivery of goods in a short time and goods that are maintained in quality are the main values in fulfilling customer satisfaction. The increase in demand for services was also experienced by PT X Indonesia as a Courier, Express, and Parcel (CEP) service industry, so the company needed to improve process efficiency and warehousing process performance. This can be achieved by reducing waste in the process and eliminating non-value added activities. Value stream mapping as a method of applying the lean concept has the aim of mapping the flow of material and information in a process. In this study, value stream mapping can help to describe the overall process and identify waste in the warehousing process. Then the root problem analysis is carried out using Ishikawa diagrams and analysis of the risks posed by FMEA tools to find critical waste and design improvement proposals to reduce the waste. The results of this study indicate that the lead time of the warehousing process is reduced by 37.9%, the processing time is reduced by 12.5%, and the value added ratio of the warehousing process is increased to 21.95%."

"ABSTRAK
Riset ini akan membahas mengenai bagaimana mengungkit nilai material limbah kertas HVS Houtvrij Schrijfpapier yang banyak digunakan di perkantoran ataupun instansi lainnya agar bisa menjadi suatu produk yang lebih bernilai dibandingkan dengan produk kertas HVS baru. Produk baru tersebut merupakan papan partikel yang hasil akhirnya bisa digunakan untuk membuat furniture rumah tangga yang selama ini menggunakan kayu hasil menebang pohon sebagai bahan bakunya. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan mempertimbangkan end-of-life suatu produk sehingga bisa dilakukan cara selanjutnya yaitu desain untuk penggunaan lainnya design for other usage . Hasil penelitian ini akan membuktikan bahwa limbah kertas HVS bisa menjadi bahan baku utama untuk membuat furniture rumah tangga yang sudah sesuai dengan standar industry yang berlaku di Indonesia maupun di dunia.

ABSTRACT
This study will discuss how to leverage the value of HVS Houtvrij Schrijfpapier paper waste material that is widely used in offices or other industrial works in order to become a product that is more valuable than the new HVS paper products. The new product is a fibreboard that the end result can be used to make household furniture that has been using wood from cutting trees as raw materials. The method that will be used is to consider the end of life of a product so that it can be done way of design for other usage. The results of this study will prove that HVS paper waste can be a main raw material to make household furniture that is in accordance with industrial standards applicable in Indonesia and in the world. "
