"Rendahnya kehananan pangan masih menjadi permasalahan yang belum terselesaikan, baik pada tingkat global maupun nasional. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, berbagai studi menunjukkan hubungan penting modal sosial terhadap Ketahanan pangan. Namun, studi tersebut di Indonesia masih belum komprehensif karena hanya mencakup provinsi, kabupaten, kecamatan, bahkan kelurahan/desa tertentu. Untuk itu, penelitian ini berkontrubusi dengan menggunakan sample yang lebih komprehensif, yaitu meliputi 68.304 rumah tangga sampel Susenas BPS 2018. Hasil pengujian menggunakan estimasi Two-Stage Least Square menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial bonding maupun bridging berkorelasi signifikan terhadap Ketahanan pangan. Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa korelasi modal sosial bridging lebih kuat dibandingkan dengan bonding. Penjelasan atas hal tersebut adalah terkait dengan karakteristik dari setiap modal sosial tersebut. Modal sosial bonding merupakan interaksi diantara masyarakat yang homogen sedangkan modal sosial bridging heterogen. Sebagai akibatnya, interaksi dalam modal sosial bridging dapat memfasilitasi berbagai informasi maupun sumber daya dari dari anggota yang berasal dari golongan ekonomi yang lebih tinggi kepada anggota yang lain. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, penelitian ini merekomendasikan perbaikan terhadap program-progam pemerintah dalam rangka perbaikan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga dengan melibatkan peran modal sosial bridging.

Food security is still one of the unresolved global and national issues. Various studies conducted in this field have confirmed the crucial influence of social capital on food security. Nevertheless, these studies were still not thorough enough in Indonesia since these studies only covered households in a particular area, such as a province, district, subdistrict, or even a village. Accordingly, this study contributes to the existing literature by employing a more comprehensive sample consisting of 68,304 households obtained from Statistic Indonesia’s Susenas 2018. Based on the Two-Stage Least Square regression test, this study suggests that social capital bonding and bridging statistically correlate to food security. Furthermore, this study shows that bridging social capital has a more substantial influence on food security. An explanation for this situation is related to each social capital’s nature. Bonding social capital involves social interactions among people with a homogenous background. Conversely, bridging social capital covers the interaction of people from various backgrounds. In other words, people actively engaged in bridging social capital might earn benefits from a higher-level economy member or transfer knowledge from people across the various community. Therefore, based on this evidence, this study recommends enhancing the existing government programs to address household food security issues by involving bridging social capital"

"Pemberian bantuan sosial merupakan salah satu rekomendasi dari FAO untuk mengatasi permasalahan terkait ketahanan pangan. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bantuan sosial mampu meningkatkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga penerimanya. Penelitian ini berkontribusi melengkapi penelitian terdahulu dengan menganalisis peran bantuan sosial yang dibedakan antara pangan dan nonpangan (tunai) terhadap ketahanan pangan rumah tangga miskin yang diukur melalui dimensi akses terhadap makanan dan pemanfaatan makanan. Dimensi akses terhadap makanan diukur menggunakan proporsi pengeluaran makanan dan konsumsi kalori per kapita yang menunjukkan kuantitas konsumsi. Dimensi pemanfaatan makanan diukur menggunakan proporsi pengeluaran untuk karbohidrat, protein/lemak, dan rokok yang menunjukkan kualitas konsumsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode propensity score matching pada data Susenas Maret 2022. Hasil penelitian membuktikan adanya dampak positif bantuan sosial baik pangan maupun nonpangan terhadap kuantitas konsumsi makanan rumah tangga miskin yang ditunjukkan dari peningkatan proporsi pengeluaran makanan dan konsumsi kalori per kapita. Bantuan sosial pangan dan nonpangan juga berdampak pada ketiga variabel pada dimensi pemanfaatan, tetapi arah koefisien yang dihasilkan menunjukkan tidak adanya peningkatan kualitas makanan. Pengeluaran makanan rumah tangga miskin masih didominasi oleh komoditas padi-padian serta makanan jadi yang tinggi kandungan karbohidratnya. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bantuan sosial apa pun jenisnya meningkatkan kuantitas makanan rumah tangga miskin, tetapi peningkatan kuantitas tersebut tidak diiringi dengan peningkatan kualitas makanan.

The provision of social assistance is one of the FAO's recommendations to address problems related to food security. Several studies indicate that the provision of social assistance improves the food security of the recipient households. This research aims to complement previous studies by analyzing the role of social assistance, differentiated between food and non-food (cash) assistance, on the food security of poor households, measured through the dimensions of access to food and food utilization. The dimension of access to food is measured using the proportion of food expenditure and calorie consumption per capita, which indicates the quantity of consumption. The dimension of food utilization is measured using the proportion of expenditure on carbohydrates, proteins/fats, and cigarettes, which indicates the quality of consumption. This research uses the propensity score matching method on Susenas data of March 2022. The results demonstrate the positive impact of both food and non-food social assistance on the quantity of food consumption of poor households, as shown by an increase in the proportion of food expenditure and calorie consumption per capita. Food and non-food social assistance also impact the three variables in the utilization dimension, but the direction of the resulting coefficient shows no increase in food quality. Food expenditure of poor households is still dominated by grain commodities and ready-made foods that are high in carbohydrate content. Thus, it can be concluded that social assistance of any type increases the quantity of food for poor households, but the increase in quantity is not accompanied by an improvement in food quality."

"Kabupaten Karawang telah ditetapkan sebagai daerah pengembangan kawasan industri dimana hal ini berdampak kepada alih fungsi lahan pertanian pola hidup masyarakat dan modal sosial petani . Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan dua hal , pertama modal sosial terhadap ketahanan pangan petani dan kedua peran kepemimpinan seorang kepala daerah yang berorientasi pada ketahanan pangan di era industri yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap modal sosial petani di daerah tersebut . Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam dan studi literatur. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa modal sosial petani di Kabupaten Karawang di era industri ini berada pada tingkatan yang relatif rendah baik dari segi norma yang bersifat informal, networking yang relatif terbatas dan kepercayaan yang belum tumbuh baik dari segi internal maupun eksternal sehingga hal ini berpengaruh terhadap ketahanan pangan dan tingkat kesejahteraan dari petani . Kepemimpinan Bupati Karawang dalam era industri menunjukkan adanya potensi upaya dukungan pada modal sosial petani yang diharapkan dapat mewujudkan ketahanan pangan. Hal ini dapat terus ditingkatkan dengan mengeluarkan kebijakan-kebijakan yang berorientasi pada peningkatan modal sosial petani.

Karawang regency has been designated as a development of industrial areas where this has an impact to agricultural land conversion, lifestyle and social capital of farmers. This study describes two things, first is social capital of farmers and the leadership role of a regent oriented food security in the industrial era can affect the social capital of farmers . The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method by using indepth interviews and literature studies. The analysis finds that social capital of farmers in Karawang regency are at relatively low levels both in terms of norms that are informal, networking is relatively limited and trust that has not been grown in the internal and external so that it affects the food security and the welfare of farmers. Karawang Regent in the industrial era suggest the potential for supportive efforts on social capital of farmers who are expected to achieve food security. This can be improved by issuing policies oriented to build the social capital of farmers.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Program Jaminan Sosial yaitu Raskin dan BLSM yang berpengaruh terhadap ketahanan pangan rumah tangga. Dalam penelitian digunakan data cross section yang didapat dari hasil Survei Aspek Kehidupan Rumah Tangga (Sakerti) 2014 dengan sampel rumah tangga penerima Program Jaminan Sosial.  Analisis logistik biner digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Program Jaminan Sosial yaitu Raskin dan BLSM terhadap ketahanan pangan rumah tangga. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Program Raskin dan BLSM berpengaruh negatif terhadap ketahanan pangan rumah tangga. Sementara terdapat faktor lain yang mempengaruhi ketahanan rumah tangga diantaranya gender kepala rumah tangga, pendidikan kepala rumah tangga, jumlah anggota rumah tangga, pendapatan rumah tangga, daerah tempat tinggal, dan akses kredit.

This study aims to analyse the effect of Social Security programs (Raskin and BLSM) on households food security. In this sudy used cross section data from Indonesia Family life Survey (IFLS) 2014, with a sample of household receiving Social Security program. Binary logistic analysis was used to find the effect of social security programs on households food security. The result of this research indicated that Social Security programs (Raskin and BLSM) negative effect on household food security. While, there are other factors that affect household food security include gender of household head, education of household head, household size, income household, residential area and access to credit.

"Studi ini mengeksplorasi peran modal sosial sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan ketahanan masyarakat Desa Teletubbies, yang rentan terhadap bencana, khususnya gempa bumi. Penelitian ini menyoroti bagaimana modal sosial memfasilitasi koordinasi selama bencana dan memperkuat pengelolaan pariwisata masyarakat untuk adaptasi ekonomi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, kuesioner, dan diskusi kelompok terfokus. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa modal sosial yang tinggi memungkinkan mobilisasi sumber daya lokal yang efektif, mendorong pemulihan dan ketahanan. Namun, tantangan seperti masalah kepemilikan tanah dan dukungan pemerintah yang terbatas menghambat kesiapan jangka panjang masyarakat. Rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan ketahanan masyarakat melalui praktik modal sosial yang berkelanjutan diberikan.

This study explores the role of social capital as a strategy to enhance the resilience of Teletubbies Village communities, which are vulnerable to disasters, particularly earthquakes. The study highlights how social capital facilitates coordination during disasters and strengthens community tourism management for economic adaptation. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and focus group discussions. The study findings reveal that high social capital enables effective mobilization of local resources, fostering recovery and resilience. However, challenges such as land tenure issues and limited government support hamper the long-term preparedness of communities. Recommendations for enhancing community resilience through sustainable social capital practices are provided."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini mempelajari peranan pemberdayaan perempuan dalam ketahanan pangan keluarga. Perempuan dapat mengalokasikan waktunya dengan mengikuti kegiatan pemberdayaan perempuan seperti kegiatan dasa wisma, koperasi, PKK, PNPM, posyandu balita dan posyandu lansia selain tanpa meninggalkan kewajiban rumah tangga. Dengan menggunakan data IFLS 2014, keikutsertaan perempuan dalam kegiatan dasa wisma, koperasi, dan posyandu balita terbukti mempengaruhi pengeluaran makanan rumah tangga. Artinya, rumah tangga yang perempuannya mengikuti kegiatan dasa wisma, koperasi, dan posyandu balita memiliki pengeluaran makanan keluarga yang lebih tinggi daripada rumah tangga yang perempuannya tidak mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Sedangkan keikut sertaan perempuan dalam kegiatan koperasi, PNPM, PKK dan posyandu balita terbukti mempengaruhi ketahanan pangan keluarga. Dengan kata lain, keikut sertaan perempuan dalam kegiatan koperasi, PNPM, PKK dan posyandu balita dapat meningkatkan probabilitas ketahanan pangan keluarga.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to study the role of women empowerment in family food security. Women could allocate their time to participate in women empowerment activities such as dasa wisma, cooperative, PKK, PNPM, posyandu balita and posyandu lansia without leaving their household obligations. In fact, by implementing IFLS 2014 data, women 39 s involvement in dasa wisma, koperasi, and posyandu balita proved to affect household food expenditure. That is, households whose women follow the activities of dasa wisma, koperasi, and posyandu balita have higher family food expenditure than households whose women do not participate in anything. While the participation of women in koperasi, PNPM, PKK and posyandu balita proved to affect family food security. In other words, the participation of women in koperasi, PNPM, PKK and posyandu balita can increase the probability of family food security."

"Bagi beberapa individu di banyak negara, makanan yang sehat dan cukup sudah menjadi salah satu tantangan yang harus dihadapi. Satu dari tiga orang di seluruh dunia tidak memiliki akses makanan yang memadai; oleh karena itu, sangatlah penting untuk mencari cara untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan. Faktanya, Pendapatan dari individu bukanlah faktor yang dapat meningkatkan ketahanan pangan, dan bisa dikaitkan dengan tabungan dari seorang individu. Studi ini mengkaji peran tabungan terhadap ketahanan pangan dan dampak penggunaan berbagai jenis tabungan, termasuk tabungan formal dan non-formal dengan menggunakan Propensity Score Matching (PSM) untuk memastikan komparabilitas kelompok tabungan dan non-tabungan terhadap ketahanan pangan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa status ketahanan pangan individu berdasarkan Food Consumption Score (FCS) telah meningkat karena partisipasi menabung, yang meningkatkan status ketahanan pangan mereka menjadi upper-bound borderline atau food-secure lower-bound. Dari sisi tabungan formal, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tabungan formal hanya berdampak kecil terhadap ketahanan pangan. Hasil dari penelitian menganjurkan rekomendasi kebijakan untuk mendorong masyarakat menabung selain memiliki tabungan formal dengan meningkatkan literasi keuangan masyarakat Indonesia. Selain itu, program jaminan sosial seperti Bantuan Sosial (Bansos) dapat difokuskan untuk mendorong masyarakat menabung daripada mendukung masyarakat untuk memiliki rekening tabungan formal.

Achieving sufficient and healthy food has been one of the challenges faced by many countries. Around one out of three people worldwide do not have access to adequate food; hence, it is crucial to figure out ways to improve food security. High income is not the determinant of food security, and it can be related to financial products such as savings. This study examines the role of saving on food security and the impact of using different types of savings, including formal and non-formal savings using Propensity Score Matching (PSM) to ensure the comparability of saving and non-saving groups on food security. The research found that the individuals' food security status based on Food Consumption Score (FCS) had been improved due to saving participation, which increases their food security status to be upper-bound borderline or food-secure lower-bound. In terms of formal saving, the result demonstrated that formal saving only has a small impact on food security. The study's findings advocate for policy recommendations to encourage people to save despite having formal savings by improving the financial literacy of Indonesian people. Moreover, social security programs such as Bantuan Sosial (Bansos) could focus on encouraging people to save instead of supporting low-income people to have formal saving accounts."

"[Tesis ini menganalis tentang bauran pemasaran produk daging sapi potong PD Dharma Jaya yang terdiri dari variabel produk, harga, promosi, distribusi dan personil dalam rangka revitalisasi peran PD Dharma Jaya berdasarkan persepsi pelanggan dan pegawai. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang diperkuat dengan observasi dengan jumlah sampel total 96 orang, wawancara
terbuka dan wawancara mendalam (in deepth interview). Uji beda 2 sampel menggunakan uji U Mann Whitney dipakai untuk menguji perbedaan persepsi antara pelanggan dan pegawai PD Dharma Jaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan persepsi antara pelanggan dan pegawai untuk variabel produk, harga, promosi dan distribusi PD Dharma Jaya yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai probabilitas masing-masing variabel sebesar 0,000 atau di bawah level signifikansi sebesar 0,050. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kuesioner, observasi dan wawancara dengan pelanggan, pegawai dan pihak terkait, jika variabel bauran pemasaran diperbaiki, maka akan dapat mendukung upaya revitalisasi peran PD Dharma Jaya sebagai unsur Dewan Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi DKI Jakarta yaitu mewujudkan Ketahanan Pangan Daerah sebagai bagian dari Ketahanan Nasional.

With analysis result from questionaires, observation and interview with customers, employees and related parties, improvement of marketing mix is needed to support the role revitalization effort of PD Dharma Jaya as the member of Food Security Board in Special Capital Region of Jakarta that is achieving Regional Food Security as a particulary of National Resilience.
