"Penentuan struktur modal perusahaan yang optimal menjadi hal yang penting untuk diputuskan oleh manajemen karena dapat mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan. Selain itu, faktor eksternal perusahaan yakni kondisi makroekonomi suatu negara juga akan memberi dampak pada nilai perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan pengaruh struktur modal, yang dicerminkan dengan rasio Debt to Equity (DER), serta faktor makroekonomi, yang diwakili oleh tingkat suku bunga, terhadap penciptaan economic value added (EVA), Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) dan nilai pasar perusahaan yang dicerminkan dengan rasio Tobin’s Q. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi regresi data panel dengan sampel data yaitu BUMN Infrastruktur. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa DER berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap EVA dan ROIC dan tidak berpengaruh terhadap Tobin’s Q, serta tingkat suku bunga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap EVA, ROIC dan Tobin’s Q.

Determining the optimal capital structure of the company becomes an important thing to be decided by the management because it can affect the value of the enterprise. In addition, the external factors of the company, i.e. the macroeconomic conditions of a country, will also affect the company’s value. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the influence of capital structures, reflected in the Debt to Equity ratio (DER), as well as macroeconomic factors, represented by interest rates, on the creation of economic added value (EVA), Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) and the company’s market value reflected by Tobin’s Q ratio. This research uses a panel data regression methodology with data samples from Infrastructure SOE. The results of the assessment showed that DER had a negative and significant impact on EVA and ROIC and had no impact on Tobin’s Q, while the interest rate level had a positive and significant effect on EVE, ROIC, and Tobin's Q."

"The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of human capital in term ofthe share government expenditure on health sector to GDRP on regional economic growth in Indonesia. The method which used to examine the relationship between dependent and independent variables is cross-section OLS regression by regressing data into three parts, which are five years and ten years in order to see the impact of independent variables especially the share of government expenditure on health sector to GDRP on economic growth as a dependent variable at both of short term and long term. Data used on the regression process is from twenty-four provinces in Indonesia There are in- relevances of data in two provinces, Aceh and Maluku. In these provinces, economic growth during period 1994-2003 is much less than other provinces. It can be caused by the conflicts and political situation in those provinces during that period. Therefore, this paper only regresses the data of 24 provinces by omitting Aceh and Maluku. In general, the share of government expenditure on health sector to GDRP is statistically significant in influencing economic growth, except at period 1994-1997 at the first estimation and period 1994- 1999 at the third estimation. It can be caused by economic not conducive in 1997 condition that had been crisis, because of economic crisis."

"Karyawan merupakan suatu investasi yang sering diabaikan di perusahaan. Keberadaan mereka seringkali dianggap sebagai biaya oleh perusahaan. Padahal jika direliti lebih lanjut, mereka sebenarnya merupakan asset terbesar didalam perushaan dikarenakan mereka memberikan pemasukan serta keuntungan terhadap perusahaan, penelitian ini berfokus pada investasi yang didapat oleh karyawan dilihat dari kinerja dan kompetensinya, dengan cara perhitungan nilai tingkat pengembalian investasi atao Return On Investment (ROI). Faktor yang dimasukan dalam perhitungan nilai ROI adalah keuntungan dari penjualan, serta biaya dan investasi yang dikeluarkan perusahaan untuk karyawan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode perbandingan berpasangan untuk menentukan bobot dari masing-masing kriteria kinerja karyawan. Dari metode perbandingan berpasangan diperoleh suatu fungsi perhitungan Human Capital yang akan digunakan untuk mengitung tingkat ROI penelitian. Dan dari ROI aktual dan ROI penelitian yang berdasarkan Human Capital dapat dibandingkan dan didapatkan bahwa 83% karyawan tenaga penjual telah memberikan Revenue bagi perusahaan dan 17% memberikan kerugian bagi perusahaan.

Employee is one of investment in company, which is sometimes neglected. They are usually used to be assuming as an expense by the company. If we look further, they are biggest asset in company, because they give contribution income and profit to company. This research is focus to how much investment that one's employee can get based on performance and competency, with calculating value of Return On Investment (ROI). The factors that required for calculating value of ROI are revenue of sales, cost and investment from company to employee.
The research is using pair-wise comparison method to determine the point of each criteria of employee performance. From this method, we can get a model of human capital, which is use for calculating of new value ROI. We can get result that 83% of employee have complete the target to give good revenue or advantage to company, and 17% of employee have harmed to company.

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang adanya hubungan antara Net Operating Profit after Tax (NOPAT), Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) dan Economic Value Added (EVA) terhadap Rasio Profitabilitas yang diwakilkan dengan Return on Assets (ROA) dan Return on Equity (ROE) dan Market Value Added (MVA) pada perusahaan manufaktur yang telah memenuhi syarat sebagai sample dengan periode pengamatan selama tahun 2009-2011. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang diuji dengan menggunakan metode regresi tunggal dan berganda, dan diolah dengan menggunakan SPPS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa NOPAT dan EVA memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan hubungan yang positif terhadap variabel MVA, ROA, ROE, sedangkan WACC memiliki hubungan yang negative dengan variabel ROA, ROE dan MVA.

This study discusses the relationship between Net Operating Profit after Tax (NOPAT), Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) and Economic Value Added (EVA) to Profitability Ratios represented by Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) and MVA at a manufacturing company that has been qualified as a sample with a period of observation during the years 2009-2011. This research is a quantitative study which tested using single and multiple regression method, and processed using SPPS. The results of this study indicate that the NOPAT and EVA have a significant and positive relationship to the MVA variable, ROA, ROE, while the WACC has a negative relationship with the variable ROA, ROE and MVA."
