"ABSTRAK
Jenis umpan balik yang berbeda akan memberikan efek yang berbeda pula
terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Jenis umpan balik deskriptif lebih efektif
digunakan untuk membantu siswa meningkatkan prestasi belajarnya (Tunstall
& Gipps, 1996). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan persepsi
siswa terhadap manfaat umpan balik dalam hubungan antara jenis umpan balik
terhadap prestasi belajar pada siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan
adalah metode eksperimen. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 101 siswa
kelas X SMA 3 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara pemberian
ulangan harian pelajaran mata pelajaran Kewarganegaraan dan kuisioner single
item mengenai persepsi manfaat umpan balik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan
bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara jenis pemberian umpan balik
terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan t(101)=2,753, p<0,05. Selanjutnya
terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara persepsi siswa atas manfaat umpan
balik terhadap prestasi belajar siswa dengan t(101)=2,234, p<0,05. Selain itu
tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara interaksi jenis umpan balik dan
persepsi siswa atas manfaat dari umpan balik terhadap prestasi belajar siswa
t(101)=-1,106, p>0,05. Selain itu dilakukan pula analisis tambahan yang
menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara usia, jenis
kelamin, durasi belajar, nilai uas dan kesukaan terhadap pelajaran
Kewarganegaraan dengan prestasi belajar siswa.

"Performa akademik siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor eksternal dan internal. Penelitian eksperimen dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh antara jenis pemberian umpan balik sebagai faktor eksternal dan academic self-efficacy sebagai faktor internal terhadap performa akademik siswa. Penelitian eksperimen terhadap 101 siswa SMA kelas X dalam setting alamiah di kelas. Siswa diminta untuk mengerjakan soal ulangan harian pelajaran Kewarganegaraan. Selanjutnya, hasil ulangan harian akan dikoreksi dan diberikan umpan balik.
Siswa dibagi menjadi dua kelompok secara acak yaitu sebagian mendapat umpan balik deskriptif berisi tentang informasi spesifik mengenai apa yang sudah benar dan kurang dari hasil ulangan harian yang dikerjakan dan siswa lainnya akan mendapat umpan balik evaluatif berisi tentang ringkasan mengenai seberapa baik siswa dalam mengerjakan ulangan, diberikan dalam bentuk poin nilai dan komentar singkat. Selanjutnya siswa diminta untuk merevisi hasil ulangan berdasarkan umpan balik yang diberikan. Setelah melakukan revisi, siswa diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner yang mengukur academic self-efficacy dari skala Academic Self-Efficacy Subscale from Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Children (SEQ-C) dengan koefisien Cronbach?s Alpha sebesar α = 0.725.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis umpan balik signifikan mempengaruhi performa akademik siswa F (101)= 45.28, p < .05. Sedangkan, tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan dari academic self-efficacy terhadap performa akademik siswa F (101)= 0.01, p > .05, begitu juga interaksi antara jenis umpan balik dan academic self-efficacy terhadap performa akademik F (101)=0.146, p>.05. Hasil analisis tambahan menunjukkan jenis kelamin, durasi belajar, nilai UAS semester lalu, dan kesukaan terhadap pelajaran kewarganegaraan berkorelasi dengan performa akademik.

Student's academic performance is influenced by external and internal factors. Experimental research was conducted to determine whether there is influence between the type of feedback as external factors and academic self-efficacy as an internal factor of the student's academic performance. The participants of this experiment are 101 high school students of class X conducted in a natural setting. Students were asked to do an essay test of Citizenship lessons. Furthermore, the results of tests will be corrected and given feedback.
Students were divided into two groups randomly, students who get descriptive feedback contains specific information about how to improve the answer and the others receive evaluative feedback contains a brief comment and point on each answers. Furthermore, students were asked to revise the test based on the feedback given. Once revised, students were asked to fill out questionnaires that measure academic self-efficacy on a scale of Academic Self-Efficacy subscale from Self-Efficacy Questionnaire for Children (SEQ-C) with Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of α = 0.725.
The results showed that the type of feedback significantly effect a student's academic performance F (101) = 45.28, p <.05. Meanwhile, there was no significant effect on academic self-efficacy on student's academic performance F (101) = 0.01, p> .05. Also, there is no significant effect interaction between the type of feedback and academic self-efficacy on academic performance F (101) = 0146, p> .05. Results of additional analyzes indicate gender, duration of study, score final exam in last semester, and interest in Citizenship lessons correlated with academic performance.

"Pemberian umpan balik dan social comparison erat kaitannya dalam menentukan performa akademik siswa di sekolah. Penelitian eksperimental di sebuah SMA Di Jakarta dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis umpan balik, jenis social comparison mana yang paling mempengaruhi performa akademik dan apakah social comparison memoderasi efek dari perbedaan jenis umpan balik terhadap performa. Penelitian dilakukan pada anak SMA kelas X (N=102). Partisipan dibagi atas dua kondisi yaitu yang mendapat umpan balik deksriptif (berisi komentar berupa informasi tentang apa yang sudah sesuai dan belum sesuai, mengapa sudah sesuai, apa yang perlu ditambahkan agar sesuai) atau umpan balik evaluatif (komentar singkat apakah jawaban sudah atau belum tepat, serta poin dari jawaban tersebut). Siswa diminta mengerjakan ujian pelajaran kewarganegaraan dalam bentuk esai 5 soal, lalu diberikan umpan balik. Dari hasil ujian tersebut, partisipan yang mendapat nilai tinggi akan diberi tanda bintang dan melakukan downward comparison, dan yang tidak mendapat bintang akan melakukan upward comparison. Lalu, partisipan diminta merevisi ujian berdasarkan umpan balik yang diberikan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan partisipan yang mendapat umpan balik deskriptif memiliki performa akademik yang signifikan lebih tinggi dibanding partisipan yang mendapat umpan balik evaluatif dengan F (102) = 30,645, p"<.05, begitu juga dengan siswa yang melakukan upward comparison dengan F (102) ="11,648, p <.05. Namun, tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan dari interaksi antara jenis umpan balik dan jenis social comparison terhadap performa akademik dengan F (102) = 0,181, p>.05. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa jenis kelamin, rasa suka terhadap pelajaran Kewarganegaraan, dan nilai UAS di semester sebelumnya memiliki korelasi yang signifikan dengan performa akademik.

Feedback and social comparison closely related in determining student's academic performance at school. An experimental study in high school in Jakarta was conducted to determine the type of feedback, the kind of social comparison which most effect on academic performance and whether social comparison moderating the effects of different types of feedback on performance. The study was conducted on first grader (N""= 102). Participants were divided into two conditions; participants received descriptive feedback (content an information about which one is correct and incorrect, why it is correct, what needs to be added to make it correct) or evaluative feedback (comments whether the answer is correct or not, as well as the points of the answer). Participants will be asked to take an essay test about Citizenship, and given feedback. From the results of the test, participants who get high scores will be marked with a star and do downward comparison and student who did not get the star will do upward comparison. Then, participants will be asked to revise the exam based on the feedback given.
As a result, participants who receive descriptive feedback perform at a significantly higher than participants who receive evaluative feedback F (102) = 30.645, p <.05, as well as students who perform upward comparison F (102) = 11.648, p <.05. However, no significant effect interaction between the type of feedback and the kind of social comparison on academic performance F (102) = 0.181, p >.05. In addition, the results of the study found that gender, interest towards Citizenship lessons, and the results of UAS in the previous semester are significantly correlated with academic performance.

"Penelitian terdahulu menemukan hasil yang tidak konsisten terhadap hubungan proaktivitas dan kreativitas. Penelitian terdahulu juga menunjukkan terdapat interaksi antara faktor individual dan lingkungan akan memengaruhi hubungan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat interaksi faktor individual yaitu proaktivitas dan perilaku pencarian umpan balik serta faktor lingkungan yaitu umpan balik tugas dalam mempengaruhi kreativitas dengan menggunakan teori impression management sebagai kerangka teori. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dari karyawan pemasaran dari tujuh perusahaan di Indonesia (N = 256) dan dianalisis menggunakan PROCESS SPSS.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku pencarian umpan balik berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan proaktivitas dan kreativitas karyawan dan umpan balik positif berperan sebagai moderator dalam hubungan proaktivitas dan perilaku pencarian umpan balik. Namun, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umpan balik positif dan negatif tidak berperan sebagai moderator pada efek tidak langsung proaktivitas pada kreativitas melalui perilaku pencarian umpan balik.

Previous research found inconsistent results on the relationship between proactivity and creativity. Previous research also showed that the interaction between individual and environmental factors determined Employee creativity. Thus, the current research aimed to investigate the interaction effect between individual factor, namely proactivity and feedback-seeking behaviour, and environmental factor, namely task feedback, on employee creativity. Impression Management Theory was employed as the framework theory. Data were collected using paper-and-pencil survey from seven companies in Indonesia (N = 256). Data were analysed using Hayes' PROCESS macro on SPSS.
The results indicated that feedback-seeking behavior mediated the relationship between proactivity and creativity. Moreover, positive task feedback moderated the relationship between proactivity and feedback-seeking behavior. However, task feedback did not moderate the indirect effect of proactivity and creativity through feedback-seeking behavior. Theoretical and practical implications were further discussed.

"Umpan balik dikenal sebagai salah satu faktor yang dapat meningkatkan
kinerja. Seseorang cenderung menggunakan umpan balik untuk mencari informasi di lingkungannya untuk mencapai tujuannya, misalnya dalam perkuliahan. Beberapa studi telah menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang memperkuat umpan balik pada kinerja some one. Namun penelitian tentang hubungan antara faktor keragaman individu dengan pencarian feedback yang masih sangat sedikit. Locus of Control tidak berfungsi salah satu faktor keragaman individu yang diduga peneliti mungkin terkait karena melibatkan upaya seseorang dalam mencapai tujuan untuk menghindari kegagalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara Locus of Control dan tipe umpan balik pencarian. Penelitian dilakukan pada 255 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia menggunakan Tindakan Mencari Umpan Balik (Gong et al., 2017) untuk mengukur skor untuk jenis pencarian umpan balik peserta (diri positif, negatif diri, other-positive, and other-negative) dan Internal-External Locus of Control Scale (Rotter, 1966) untuk mengukur skor Locus of Control peserta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Locus of Control internal
dengan keempat jenis pencarian umpan balik. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mencari variabel yang dapat menjadi mediator atau moderator dalam hubungan kedua variabel tersebut.

Feedback is known as one of the factors that can improve
performance. Someone tends to use feedback to find information in their environment to achieve their goals, for example in lectures. Several studies have described the factors that reinforce feedback on some one's performance. However, there is very little research on the relationship between individual diversity factors and the search for feedback. Locus of Control does not function as a factor of individual diversity that researchers suspect may be related because it involves one's efforts to achieve goals to avoid failure. This study aims to see the relationship between Locus of Control and the type of search feedback. The study was conducted on 255 students at the University of Indonesia using the Action of Seeking Feedback (Gong et al., 2017) to measure the scores for the types of participant feedback seeking (positive self, negative self, other-positive, and other-negative) and Internal-External Locus. of Control Scale (Rotter, 1966) to measure participants' Locus of Control scores. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between internal Locus of Control
with all four types of feedback search. Further research is recommended to look for variables that can be a mediator or moderator in the relationship between these two variables.

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat gambaran peran moderasi konsep diri akademik terhadap hubungan antara prestasi akademik dan adaptabilitas karir pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama SMP di Kota Depok. Pengukuran adaptabilitas karir dilakukan dengan alat ukur Career Adapt-Abilities Scale CAAS Savickas Porfeli, 2012 . Prestasi akademik diukur melalui nilai rata-rata rapor semester lima partisipan saat duduk di bangku SMP. Sedangkan, konsep diri akademik diukur menggunakan Academic Self Concept for Adolescence ASCA Scale Ordaz-Villegas, Acle-Tomasini, Reyes-Lagunes, 2013 . Partisipan berjumlah 704 orang yang berasal dari dua sekolah di Kota Depok.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari konsep diri akademik terhadap hubungan antara prestasi akademik dan adaptabilitas karir p = .250, LOS = .05 . Artinya, kuat-lemahnya hubungan antara prestasi akademik dan adaptabilitas karir individu tidak dipengaruhi oleh seberapa positif konsep diri akademik yang ia miliki. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penting dilakukan pengembangan adaptabilitas karir pada siswa SMP, dengan memperhatikan prestasi akademik dan konsep diri akademik yang dimilikinya.

This study aimed to find the moderating role of academic self concept towards the relationship of academic achievement and career adaptability among Junior High School Students in Depok City. Career adaptability was measured using modification of Career Adapt Abilities Scale CAAS Savickas Porfeli, 2012 . Students rsquo average score of 5th semester report used to measure academic achievement. Academic self concept was measured using modification of Academic Self Concept for Adolescence ASCA Scale Ordaz Villegas, Acle Tomasini, Reyes Lagunes, 2013 . This study involve 704 participants from two schools in Depok City.
The result found that there is no significant effects of academic self concept towards the relationship of academic achievement and career adaptability. It means, the strength of academic achievement and career adaptability rsquo s relationship not affected by how positive a person rsquo s academic self concept. Based on this study, its important for Junior High School Students to develop their career adaptability, regard their academic achievement and academic self concept.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kebutuhan berprestasi dan perilaku pencarian umpan balik pada mahasiswa pengusaha. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan mahasiswa pengusaha dari berbagai perguruan tinggi di Indonesia berjumlah 100 orang dan telah memiliki profit stabil dalam nominal tertentu. Kebutuhan berprestasi diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur yang dikembangkan oleh Steers dan Braunstein yaitu Manifest Needs Questionnaire MNQ. Sementara itu perilaku pencarian umpan balik diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur yang dikembangkan oleh Gong, Wang, Huang, dan Cheung yaitu Feedback Seeking Measures FSM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kebutuhan berprestasi berhubungan signifikan dengan perilaku pencarian umpan balik self negative, self positive, other negative, dan other positive.

This study was conducted to examine the correlation between need for achievement and feedback seeking behavior of entrepreneur college students. The participant of this study were 100 Indonesia's entrepreneur college students that have stable profit in a certain nominal. Need for achievementwas measured using Steers and Braunstein's Manifest Needs Questionnaire MNQ. "[ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang: Umpan balik memiliki peran penting pada proses pembelajaran
seseorang. Konsep mengenai perilaku mencari umpan balik telah banyak diteliti
tetapi masih terdapat gambaran yang belum lengkap mengenai berbagai aspek
terkait perilaku mencari umpan balik tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengeksplorasi perilaku mencari umpan balik mahasiswa kedokteran di Fakultas
Kedokteran Universitas Lampung (FK Unila) secara mendalam.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan
fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui FGD (focus group
discussion) dengan mahasiswa FK Unila Angkatan 2012, 2013 dan 2014.
Triangulasi data dilakukan melalui FGD dengan staf pengajar, wawancara dengan
ketua tim Medical Education Unit dan studi dokumen yang dilakukan selama
bulan April sampai dengan Mei 2015. Hasil FGD dan wawancara dituliskan
dalam bentuk transkrip verbatim lalu dilakukan analisis tematik dan koding.
Selanjutnya dilakukan reduksi dan penyajian data.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mahasiswa dan staf
pengajar mengenai umpan balik masih belum tepat. Motivasi mahasiswa untuk
mencari umpan balik disebabkan oleh keinginan untuk mendapatkan informasi
yang berguna bagi dirinya dan mengontrol kesan orang lain. Faktor penghambat
tersering mahasiswa dalam mencari umpan balik kepada staf pengajar adalah rasa
segan dan takut untuk mendapatkan komentar negatif mengenai dirinya.
Mahasiswa akan mencari umpan balik kepada orang yang memiliki hubungan
kedekatan dan kredibilitas yang baik dalam konteks lingkungan yang privat.
Kesimpulan: Belum adanya pemahaman yang sama mengenai pengertian umpan
balik menyebabkan proses pencarian dan pemberian umpan balik di FK Unila
belum berjalan secara efektif. Sistem pendidikan kedokteran yang hirarkis, faktor
budaya dan kesibukan staf pengajar merupakan beberapa faktor penghambat.
Institusi perlu membuat suatu kebijakan yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan
kesadaran dan menciptakan atmosfer bagi mahasiswa dan staf pengajar akan arti
penting umpan balik.

process. The concept of feedback-seeking behaviour has been widely studied but
there is still lack of information on the aspects related to it. This study is aimed to
explore feedback-seeking behaviour of undergraduate medical students at Faculty
of Medicine University of Lampung.
Method: This study used qualitative research methods with phenomenological
approach. Data was collected through focus group discussion (FGD) with students
in Faculty of Medicine University of Lampung class of 2012, 2013 and 2014.
Similar method was used with faculty members to triangulate the data, and also an
in-depth interview with the head of Medical Education Unit and document
analysis. The result of FGD and interview were transcribed verbatim, analysed
thematically and coded, to reduce and present the data.
Result: The results obtained in this study indicate that the understanding of
students and lecturers of feedback is still incorrect. Students are motivated to seek
feedback because they want useful information and have the desire to control the
impressions of others. One of the biggest factors that inhibit students to seek
feedback from the lecturer is their fear in getting negative comments. Students
will look for feedback from people who have close relationships with them and
good credibility in the context of a private environment.
Conclusion: The absence of a common understanding of the meaning of feedback
causes the feedback-seeking and feedback-giving process on FK Unila not run
effectively. Hierarchical system of medical education, cultural factors and
lecturers? busy schedule are some factors that hinder feedback-seeking process.
Institutions need to make a policy to raise awareness and create an atmosphere for

"Penelitian ini mengukur hubungan antara planned happenstance dan career decision-making self-efficacy pada siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini juga mengukur peran kepribadian proaktif sebagai moderator pada hubungan antara planned happenstance dan career decision-making self-efficacy. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 839 siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas. Variabel penelitian ini diukur menggunakan kuisioner penelitian dari Career Decision Self-Efficacy- Short Form CDSE-SF, Planned Happenstance Career Inventory PHCI dan Proactive Personality Scale PPS, yang kemudian diadaptasi sesuai dengan konteks Indonesia. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan regresi ganda dan PROCESS dari Hayes dengan menggunakan model moderator sederhana Model 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: a planned happenstance berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan career decision-making self-efficacy dan b kepribadian proaktif tidak berperan sebagai moderator dalam hubungan planned happenstance dan career decision-making self-efficacy.

This study measures relationship between planned happenstance and career decision making self efficacy on high school students. This study also measures the role of proative personality as a moderator of relationship between planned happenstance and career decision making self efficacy. Data were collected from 839 high school students. Variables were measured using a research questionnaire in the form of Career Decision Self Efficacy Short Form CDSE ndash SF, Planned Happenstance Career Inventory PHCI, and Proactive Personality Scale PPS, which were adapted to the Indonesian context. The data were analyzed using multiple regression and Hayes rsquo PROCESS 2013 simple moderator model Model 1. The result showed a Planned happenstance is positively and significantly correlated with career decision making self efficacy and b proactive personality does not act as a moderator of the relationship between planned happenstance and career decision making self efficacy.

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara persepsi siswa terhadap kehangatan guru dan keterlibatan emosi dalam belajar pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 121 partisipan yang merupakan siswa kelas 4 dan 5 sekolah dasar di beberapa sekolah dasar yang terletak di Jakarta Selatan. Berdasarkan analisis perhitungan data, ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara persepsi siswa terhadap kehangatan guru dan keterlibatan emosi dalam belajar pada siswa sekolah dasar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin siswa merasakan adanya kehangatan dari gurunya maka semakin siswa merasa nyaman dalam belajar. Selain itu, ditemukan pula hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara persepsi siswa terhadap kehangatan guru dan disafeksi emosi siswa dalam belajar. Fakta ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin siswa merasa guru tidak menunjukkan kehangatan maka semakin siswa merasa tidak nyaman dalam belajar. Implikasi dari penelitian ini didiskusikan lebih lanjut.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to investigate if there is any relationship between student perception of teachers’ warmth and elementary school students’ emotional engagement in learning. There are 121 participants in this study, who are going through elementary education in the 4th and 5th grade. Through data analysis, result shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between student perception of teachers’ warmth and emotional engagement in learning. This shows that when students feel the warmth of their teachers, they will feel happy at learning in the classroom. Further analysis shows that there is a negative and significant relationship between student perception of teachers’ warmth and disaffected emotion which shows that if students doesn’t feel their teachers’ warmth, they will feel more uncomfortable at learning in class. Implications of this study will be discussed.
