"Setiap tenaga kerja membawa kemampuan yang unik ke pasar tenaga kerja, tetapi kemampuan tersebut mungkin telah terbentuk sejak masa kecil. Maka, penguasaan kemampuan kognitif pada masa kecil dianggap berkontribusi dalam mencapai penghasilan yang lebih tinggi di masa depan. Anak-anak Indonesia, akan tetapi, mencetak performa yang relatif rendah dalam berbagai penilaian yang terstandardisasi. Padahal, sebagian besar anak-anak tersebut akan menjadi tenaga kerja nasional di masa depan. Penelitian ini mengangkat isu tersebut dengan menguji pengaruh kemampuan kognitif masa kecil terhadap pendapatan tenaga kerja di Indonesia, dengan menggunakan data dari IFLS3 dan IFLS5 pada model seleksi Heckman. Studi menemukan inteligensi pada masa kecil memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara statistik terhadap pendapatan. Selain itu, besar efeknya agak lebih tinggi daripada besarnya efek inteligensi saat dewasa terhadap pendapatan. Kemampuan matematika masa kecil juga berpengaruh, meski terbatas, untuk meningkatkan kesempatan memperoleh pendapatan karena bekerja. Oleh sebab itu, studi ini dapat menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan kognitif masa kecil dapat berkontribusi pada kesuksesan masa depan di pasar tenaga kerja.

Every workforce brings a unique set of abilities to the labor market, but those abilities may have emerged ever since childhood. Mastery of cognitive ability at childhood, thus, has been considered to contribute to achieving higher earnings in the future. Indonesia rsquo s children, however, score a relatively low performance in various standardized assessments. Whereas, a majority of the children will become the nations workforce of the future. This study takes up the issue by examining the effect of childhood cognitive ability on earnings of workforces in Indonesia, using data from IFLS3 and IFLS5 on the Heckman selection model.

The study finds childhood general intellect has a statistically significant and positive effect on earnings. Furthermore, its effect magnitude is slightly higher than the magnitude of the effect of adulthood general intellect on earnings. Childhood mathematics ability also contributes, yet limited, to increase the chances of obtaining earnings because of working, while adulthood mathematics ability does not. Therefore, the study may infer that childhood cognitive ability contributes to future success in the labor market."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental yang bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan number sense anak usia 3 hingga 5 tahun. Seluruh partisipan terbagi ke dalam tiga kelompok: 1 belajar menggunakan media pembelajaran audiovisual; 2 belajar menggunakan media pembelajaran visual; dan 3 tidak belajar menggunakan media pembelajaran. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 48 anak. Kemampuan number sense anak diukur menggunakan Number Knowledge Test sebelum dan sesudah penelitian berlangsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah skor rata-rata number sense yang diperoleh pada tiga kelompok penelitian berbeda secara signifikan, F 2, 45 = 13.232, p < .05, ?2 = 0.37. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran, terutama media pembelajaran audiovisual efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan number sense anak.

ABSTRACTThis experimental research has aimed to examine the effectivity of instructional media usage towards number sense ability for children aged 3 to 5 years old. All participant dividid into three groups 1 learning with audiovisual instructional media 2 learning with visual instructional media 3 learning without instructional media. Children rsquo s number sense ability was measured using Number Knowledge Test before and after experiment. The result showed that the mean from three groups signifficantly different, F 2, 45 13.232, p .05, 2 0.37. From this research we can conclude that instructional media, especially audiovisual instructional media can increase children rsquo s number sense effectively. "

"Permasalahan terkait hak asuh anak yang tidak menemukan jalan keluar disebabkan karena peraturan yang tidak secara jelas dan rinci mengatur terkait syarat pertimbangan dalam menentukan pihak yang berhak atas hak asuh anak serta terkait pelaksanaan eksekusinya. Penetapan hak asuh anak pasca perceraian serta eksekusinya tersebut sering kali bertentangan dengan hak-hak anak yang dijamin oleh negara. Adanya ketidakseragaman antar peraturan tersebut (pasca perceraian) menimbulkan permasalahan-permasalahan yang pada akhirnya paling merugikan pihak anak. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka perlu diketahui bagaimana pengaturan terkait hak asuh anak di Indonesia dan apakah pertimbangan hakim dalam Putusan Nomor 2295 K/Pdt/ 2020 telah sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan khususnya UU Perkawinan. Peraturan perundang-undangan di Indonesia yang kurang memfasilitasi dan kurang memperhatikan sisi anak membuat penulis merasa bahwa diperlukan suatu peraturan yang secara khusus dan rinci mengatur terkait hak asuh anak termasuk dalam hal eksekusinya. Dengan demikian, skripsi ini disusun dengan menggunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif.

The issue of child custody disputes that fail to reach a resolution is caused by regulations that do not clearly and comprehensively define the criteria for determining the party entitled to custody and the execution of such decisions. The determination of child custody after divorce and its execution often conflicts with the rights of the child guaranteed by the state. The inconsistency among post-divorce regulations results in issues that ultimately harm the child the most. Based on these concerns, it is necessary to examine how child custody regulations are governed in Indonesia and whether the judicial considerations in Verdict Number 2295 K/Pdt/2020 align with the applicable laws, particularly the Marriage Law. The lack of comprehensive legal provisions in Indonesia that consider the best interests of the child has led the author to believe that a specific and detailed regulation on child custody, including its execution, is urgently needed. Accordingly, this thesis is prepared using normative legal research methods."
