"Saat ini pemerintah Indonesia mulai memberlakukan larangan ekspor bahan tambang mentah. Sehingga banyak perusahaan tambang yang berhenti berproduksi dan banyak karyawan yang merasa khawatir dengan keberlangsungan karir mereka di perusahaan. PT Freeport Indonesia merupakan salah satu perusahaan tambang terbesar di Indonesia yang juga terkena dampak dari peraturan tersebut.
Penelitian ini menganalisis mengenai pengaruh job security terhadap motivasi kerja karyawan di kantor pusat PT Freeport Indonesia dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner dan wawancara tidak terstruktur. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang karyawan tetap kantor pusat PT Freeport Indonesia di Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampelnya adalah non probabilitas dengan teknik purposive sampling.
Metode analisis yang dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Job Security memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja kerja karyawan. Namun, job security bukanlah faktor terbesar yang mempengaruhi motivasi kerja karyawan di PT Freeport Indonesia.

Currently, the Indonesian government is imposing a ban to export raw mining materials. There are many mining companies stopped their production and a lot of employees worried with the sustainability of their careers in the company. PT Freeport Indonesia is one of the largest mining companies in Indonesia, which means that they are also affected by the regulation.
This study analyzed the influence of job security on employee motivation at the headquarters of PT Freeport Indonesia using quantitative approach. Data is obtained from questionnaires and unstructured interviews. The number of samples in this study is 100 permanent employees at the headquarters of PT Freeport Indonesia in Jakarta. The technique of sampling is non-probability with purposive sampling technique.
The method of analysis in this study is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Job Security has a significant influence on employees' work motivation. However, job security is not the biggest factor influencing employee motivation in PT Freeport Indonesia.

"Abstract. This research discusses how far job satisfaction is achieved, the factors that influence job satisfaction, and what needs to be done in order to increase the job satisfaction of Government Employees working at the Bogor Regency Secretariat. The objective of this research is to analyze the level of job satisfaction and the factors that influence job satisfaction, plus recommend what can be done to increase job satisfaction of Government Employees working at the Bogor Regency Secretariat. A criteria range analysis (analisis rentang kriteria) method was used to determine the level of job satisfaction of Government Employees. Results revealed that Government Employees were at a satisfied scale. The results from this research were obtained by using a factor analysis method to analyze the factors of job satisfaction of Government Employees. Eleven dominant factors were the reasons why Government Employees were satisfied with their jobs. These factors include: 1. Salary; 2. Benefits and facilities; 3. Relationship between superiors and subordinates; 4. Relationship among coworkers; 5. Development; 6. Opportunity; 7. Safety at work; 8. Education; 9. Policies within the organization; 10. Conflict resolution; and 11. Career achievements. The results of this research can be used as a suggestion for organization managements to improve the job satisfaction of Government Employees. The management can focus their attention on improving employee job satisfaction by referring to the eleven dominant factors in order to become more efficient and effective in making policies and be able to focus on the improving these job satisfaction factors.
Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisia tingkat kepuasan kerja, dan factor-factor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja, serta merekomendasikan upaya-upaya bagi peningkatan kepuasan kerja SDM Aparatur pada Sekretariat Kabupaten Bogor. Untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan kerja SDM Aparatur digunakan metode analisis rentang kriteria. Hasilnya menunjukkan kepuasan kerja SDM Aparatur berada pada rentang skala puas. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan factor analisis untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor kepuasan kerja SDM Aparatur, berupa sebelas factor dominan yang menjadi sumber kepuasan kerja SDM Aparatur yaitu 1. Gaji; 2. Tunjangan dan fasilitas; 3. Hubungan atasan dengan bawahan; 4. Hubungan antar rekan kerja; 5. Pengembangan; 6. Kesempatan; 7. Keselamatan kerja; 8. Pendidikan; 9. Kebijakan organisasi; 10. Penyelesaian konflik; dan 11. Prestasi kerja. Hasil penelitian tersebut berimplikasi terhadap upaya-upaya manajemen organisasi untuk meningkatkan kepuasan kerja SDM Aparatur."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai pengaruh motivasi pelayanan publik, kepuasan kerja, komitmen afektif, dan keterlibatan kerja terhadap in-role performance pada pegawai Perpustakaan Nasional RI. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 267 responden pegawai Perpustakaan Nasional RI. Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah menggunakan metode Structural Equation Model SEM.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan motivasi pelayanan publik, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen afektif memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap in-role performance. Namun ditemukan pengaruh negatif antara keterlibatan kerja terhadap in-role performance pegawai Perpustakaan Nasional RI.

This study discuss about the effect of public service motivation, job satisfaction, affective commitment, and job involvement on in role performance in employees Perpustakaan Nasional RI. The study conduct 267 respondent in Perpustakaan Nasional RI. Data analysis conducted using Structural Equation Model SEM method.
The results of this study indicate public service motivation, job satisfaction, affective commitment have a significant positive effect on in role performance. But, this study found negative effect job involvement on in role performance employees in Perpustakaan Nasional RI.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh public service motivation terhadap job satisfaction dan organizational citizenship behavior pada pegawai di Satuan Kerja Pusat Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Keuangan, Kementerian Keuangan. Dari hasil data dan pengujian hipotesis yang menggunakan uji analisis SEM, diperoleh hasil bahwa public servise motivation yang terdiri atas public reason, public heart dan public norm secara signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja dan organizational citizenship behavior. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kuantitatif eksplorasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode quota sampling. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan menyebar kuesioner ke setiap bagian/bidang Pusintek secara proporsional. Peneliti menyarankan agar Pusintek mempertimbangkan aspek motivasi dalam proses seleksi/rekrutmen serta membuat program yang mendorong dan merangsang public service motivation pegawai Pusintek melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan secara berkesinambungan.

This study aims to investigate the influence of public service motivation on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior in employees in Pusat Sistem Informasi dan Teknologi Keuangan, Ministry of Finance. From the results of the test data and test hypotheses using SEM analysis, the result that public servise motivation which consists of public reason, public hearts and public norm significantly positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. This research uses quantitative methods of exploration. The sampling technique using quota sampling method. The collection of data used in this study with questionnaires spread to every part / field of Pusintek proportionally. The researchers suggest that Pusintek considering aspects of motivation in the process of selection /recruitment and create programs that encourage and stimulate public service motivation Pusintek employees through training and development on an ongoing basis."
