Kecemasan merupakan hal yang sering dilaporkan ketika anak dihadapkan pada proses operasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dampak penggunaan buku cerita bergambar terhadap kecemasan sebelum operasi. Design Penelitian adalah quasi eksperiment:Post test-only non equivalen control group. Sampel penelitian adalah 34 anak usia sekolah yang akan menjalani operasi, dipilih dengan teknik Consecutive sampling. Kelompok intervensi diberikan informasi dengan buku cerita bergambar dan kelompok kontrol mendapatkan informasi rutin rumah sakit. Hasil penelitian menunjukan anak yang mendapatkan persiapan dengan buku cerita bergambar mengalami kecemasan sebelum operasi lebih rendah (p=0,003). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pemberian informasi dengan buku cerita bergambar sebagai salah satu intervensi persiapan operasi

Anxiety is often reported among preoperative children. This study aimed to identify the impact of story book on preoperative anxiety among school-age children. Research design was quasi experiment: Post test -only non equivalent control group toward 34 which were selected with consecutive sampling technique. Children on intervention group were prepared with pictured story book, while children on control group were prepared with hospital routine information. The result showed that children whose prepared with pictured story book experienced less preoperative anxiety (p=0,003). This research recommends pictured story book as one of interventions for preoperative preparation;Anxiety is often reported among preoperative children. Mencuci tangan dapat dilalcukan oleh anak yaitu sebelum dan sesudah beraktifitas sebagai upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian infeksi di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan unhrk mengidentifikasi efektivitas permainan terapeutik: Cuci tangan dengan flannelgrapft kombinasi demonstrasi terhadap ketepatan anak dalam mencuci tangan. Desain pada penelitian ini menggunakan quasi elcsperiment: post test-only non equivalent control group terhadap 96 anak usia 3-12 tahun yang dibagi menjadi kelompbk intervensi dan kontrol dengan consecutive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjulJcan bermain terapeutik: cuci tangan menggunakan flannelgraph kombinasi demonstrasi efektif terhadap ketepatan anak mencuci tangan (p < 0,001). Hasil penelitian dapat diaplikasikan sebagai intervensi berrnain terapeutik di rumah sakit. ...... This study aims to identifu the effectiveness of therapeutic play: Handwashing with flannelgraph combination of demonstrations toward the accuracy of children in hand washing . The design of this research uses a quasi experiment: post-test-only non equivalent control group towards 96 aged 3-12 who were divided into the intervention group and the control goup with consecutive sampling. The results showed that the therapeutic play: Handwashing with flannelgraph combination demonstration is effective toward the children accuracy of hand washing (p <0.001). The results of this study can be applied as an interventions of therapeutic play in hospitals.

Pemasangan infus adalah prosedur yang sering dilakukan di rumah sakit. Komplikasi yang sering terjadi pada pemasangan infus adalah flebitis. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya flebitis adalah karena fiksasi yang tidak tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas model fiksasi U terhadap komplikasi pemasangan infus. Penelitian ini menggunakan quasi experimental dengan rancangan post test only non equivalent group design dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan model U efektif untuk mengurangi kejadian flebitis pada anak (p<0,05). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan model fiksasi U untuk mencegah kejadian flebitis.

ABSTRACT
Peripheral intravenous insertion is the most commonly performed procedures in hospital. One factor that influences the occurrence of phlebitis is improper fixation. This study aimed to clarify the effectiveness of U model fixation to the occurrence of complications. This study used a quasi experimental design with post test only non equivalent group design. The sample was 32 respondents which were collected with consecutive sampling technique. The result showed that U model fixation was effective for reducing the incidence of phlebitis among children (p<0.05). This research recommends U model fixation to be used for intravenous catheter fixation.
