"Skripsi ini membahas tentang sistem internal dan penerapan atas program etika di suatu perusahaan swasta, PT. DuPont Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif dengan metode perolehan data melalui wawancara dan studi literatur atas dokumen perusahaan. Penelitian mencakup analisa metode pendekatan, ruang lingkup kode etik, pembahasan dari masalah etik. Masalah etik terkait ialah pendekatan yang digunakan, ruang lingkup kode etik, pelaporan biaya perjalanan karyawan, dan kecenderungan atas korupsi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa perusahaan objek studi kasus perlu menentukan pendekatan atas etika yang digunakan. Dari ketetapan pendekatan tersebut, manajemen perusahaan dapat mengembangkan program etika, metode internalisasi nilai, dan kode etik yang sesuai.

The focus of this study is internal system and ethics programs application in a company, PT. DuPont Indonesia. This study using qualitative method and descriptive design with interview and literature study of company’s document as the method of data acquisition. The study covered strategy method analysis, scope of company ethic codes, employees’ travel expense report, and the risk of corruption. The result of this study recommend management to decide the ethic strategy method. From the ethic strategy method, company can develop ethic programs, value internalization method, and ethic codes that match."

"Akhir-akhir ini sering ditekankan perlunya sikap profesional dalam pekerjaan. Seiring dengan hal tersebut, sikap profesional telah melahirkan aspek etika sebagai dasar moral bagi pelaku-pelakunya. Dan peran etika semakin penting artinya, mengingat kemajuan-kemajuan dalam ilmu dan teknologi telah memberikan peluang bagi manusia untuk memanfaatkan celah-celah yang ada. Secara sederhana etika dapat dijabarkan sebagai sesuatu yang baik atau benar. Kemudian profesi-profesi yang telah baku harus menyertakan standar etika bagi anggota-anggotanya, tidak terkecuali profesi akuntan di dalamnya. Sayangnya beberapa kejadian telah mencoreng nama profesi akuntan. Untuk itu ingin dilihat prinsip-prinsip etika pada mahasiswa akuntan. "ABSTRACTDavid Hume menulis dua buku yang membahas moral secara filosofis dan komprehensif yaitu A Treatise of Human Nature dan An Enquiry Concerning the Principle of Morals. Hume mendapat kritik dari Jeremy Bentham dan Immanuel Kant bahwa kajian filosofisnya terhadap moral tidak memberikan pedoman untuk membuat putusan moral etika normatif . Robert Shaver dan Nicholas Capaldi membantah kritik tersebut. Keduanya mengatakan bahwa Hume memiliki teori putusan moralnya sendiri yang unik. Namun, pembelaan mereka tidak menunjukkan teori moral Hume yang bisa digunakan membuat putusan moral. Penelitian tulisan ini akan memaparkan pemikiran moral Hume yang dilandasi oleh teori epistemologinya yaitu empirisme, lalu dengan menggunakan enam kriteria putusan moral dari B. C. Bostow sebagai alat analisis, tulisan ini memperkuat argumentasi bahwa Hume memiliki teori putusan moral sendiri yaitu etika kebajikan.

ABSTRACTDavid Hume wrote two philosophy books that concern about moral A Treatise of Human Nature dan An Enquiry Concerning the Principle of Morals. Hume gets criticism from Jeremy Bentham and Immanuel Kant that his philosophical theory of morals does not provide guidance for making moral judgments normative ethics . Robert Shaver and Nicholas Capaldi denied the criticism. Both say that Hume has his own unique moral judgement theory. However, their defense does not show Hume 39 s moral theory that can be used to make moral judgments. The study of this paper will describe Hume 39 s moral thinking based on his epistemology theory empiricism and then using the six criteria of the moral ruling by B. C. Bostow as an analytical tool. This paper reinforces the argument that Hume has his own moral judgment theory, that is virtue ethics. "
