"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berfokus pada strategi kekerasan yang dipilih oleh kelompokViking Jabodetabek, sebagai upaya mendapatkan dan mempertahankan ruang(persistensi) di wilayah Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Dalam argumentasi peneliti,kelompok ini berada dalam posisi cenderung terpinggirkan, baik secara sosial,maupun geografis. Selain itu, terdapat wilayah yang berdekatan dan kontestasiruang diantara Viking dan juga The Jak Mania. Hal ini membuat mekanismekekerasan kemudian digunakan untuk mendapatkan ruang, memperkuat, sertabertahan di kota Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Penelitian sebelumnya melihat bahwakekerasan di ruang kota mampu merestrukturasi bentuk kota saat dilakukansecara komunal. Selain itu, kontestasi terjadi pada batas perbedaan identitas yangtidak melibatkan kontestasi ruang di dalamnya. Penelitian ini berfokus padadinamika kekerasan yang digunakan kelompok pendukung sepakbola dalamruang urban, baik di pusat kota, maupun area penyangga, dengan kelompok yangmemiliki pola hubungan setara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatanpenelitian kualitatif dengan metode wawancara mendalam serta studi datasekunder berupa jurnal, berita, serta buku sebagai alat untuk mendapatkan analisisdata. Penelitian menunjukan bahwa kekerasan digunakan kelompok sebagaiupaya untuk menunjukan eksistensi kelompok. Migrasi serta perbedaankarakteristik wilayah mempengaruhi perbedaan dinamika kekerasan yangdilakukan pada wilayah tengah kota dan wilayah pinggiran.

ABSTRACTThis study focuses on the strategy of violence that chosen Viking Jabodetabek as an effort toobtain and maintain space (persistence) in Jakarta and surrounding areas. This study has theargument that this group is marginalized, both socially and geographically. In addition, thereis a contestation of the area between Vikings and The Jak Mania. This makes the mechanismof violence then used to get space, strengthen, and survive in Jakarta and surrounding area.Previous research saw that violence in urban areas was able to restructure the shape of citiesthrough communal violence . In addition, contestation occurs at the boundaries of identitydifferences that do not involve the contestation of space in it. This study focuses on thedynamics of violence used by soccer support groups in urban spaces, both in metropolitanareas and in the suburban area, with groups that have an equal relationship pattern. Thisstudy uses a qualitative research approach with in-depth interview methods and secondarydata studies from journals, news, and books as a tool to obtain data analysis. This studyshows that violence is used by groups as an effort to show the existence of groups. Migrationand differences in local characteristics influence differences in the dynamics of violencecarried out in the middle of the city and on the suburban area."

"Pada masa reformasi dengan adanya pemilihan umum secara langsung, kekuatan eksternal, seperti sepak bola sangat diandalkan untuk mampu melakukan suatu mobilisasi massa untuk mendukung suatu pasangan calon. Salah satu contohnya adalah Bobotoh yang diperebutkan suaranya oleh kedua pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden pada Pemilu Umum Presiden Indonesia Tahun 2019. Dengan memiliki basis massa yang cukup besar membuat Bobotoh sebagai suporter sepak bola menjadi objek politik yang menarik dan memiliki nilai tinggi sehingga diperebutkan oleh para pasangan calon untuk memperoleh dukungan suara dari massa yang dimilikinya. Karya ini berusaha menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi dan kondisi internal dari tiga kelompok Bobotoh, yaitu Viking Persib Club, The Bombers, dan The Bomb dalam mengambil sikap politik untuk mendukung pasangan calon Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin pada Pemilu 2019. Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam untuk mengumpulkan data. Dalam partisipasi politik tiga kelompok Bobotoh tersebut, ada peran besar dari para ketua dari kelompok Bobotoh, yaitu Hero Joko selaku Ketua Viking Persib Club dan Nevi Efendi selaku Ketua The Bombs.

During the reform era with direct general elections, external forces, such as football, were relied on to be able to carry out a mass mobilization to support a candidate pair. For example is Bobotoh, whose votes were contested by the two pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates in the 2019 Indonesian Presidential General Election. By having a large enough mass base, Bobotoh as a football supporter becomes an interesting political object and has a high value so that it is contested by the fans. candidate pairs to gain the support of the votes of the masses they have. This work attempts to analyze the influencing factors and internal conditions of the three Bobotoh groups, namely the Viking Persib Club, The Bombers, and The Bomb in taking a political stance to support the Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin candidate pair in the 2019 General Election. This research is a qualitative method with in-depth interview techniques to collect data. In the political participation of the three Bobotoh groups, there was a big role from the leaders of the Bobotoh group, namely Hero Joko as Chairman of the Viking Persib Club and Nevi Efendi as Chairman of The Bombs."
