"Mobile banking adalah salah satu teknologi paling menjanjikan yang telah muncul dalam beberapa tahun terakhir dan terbukti memiliki dampak yang cukup besar baik dari sisi perbankan maupun nasabah. Sementara itu, saat ini industri perbankan saling bersaing dalam hal berinvestasi untuk mengembangkan produk mobile banking. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat penggunaan yang selanjutnya dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan memperkuat loyalitas nasabah pengguna mobile banking di Indonesia menggunakan model the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2). Survei ini diikuti oleh 318 responden (pengguna aplikasi mobile banking di Indonesia). Data dianalisis menggunakan SEM berbasis PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa performance expectancy, effort expectancy, dan habit berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap use mobile banking. Selanjutnya, use mobile banking berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap satisfaction dan loyalty, begitu juga satisfaction terhadap loyalty pengguna mobile banking. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi sebagai bahan pertimbangan perumusan kebijakan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi tingkat penggunaan serta memberikan insight bagi industri perbankan dalam hal optimalisasi investasi untuk meningkatkan adopsi mobile banking dari pengguna lama yang selanjutnya dapat memberikan keunggulan kompetitif di pasar.

Mobile banking is one of the most promising technologies that have emerged in recent years and is proving to have quite an impact on both the banking and customer side. Meanwhile, currently the banking industry is competing with each other in terms of investing to develop mobile banking products. Thus, this study aims to analyze the level of usage which can further increase customer satisfaction and strengthen customer loyalty using mobile banking in Indonesia using the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) model. This survey was attended by 318 respondents (users of mobile banking applications in Indonesia). Data were analyzed using PLS-based SEM. The results of the study show that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and habit have a positive and significant effect on mobile banking use. Furthermore, the use of mobile banking has a positive and significant effect on satisfaction and loyalty, as well as satisfaction with the loyalty of mobile banking users. This study is expected to contribute to policy formulation considerations to identify factors that influence usage rates and to provide insights for the banking industry in terms of investment optimization to increase mobile banking adoption from existing users, which in turn can provide a competitive advantage in the market.

"Karya akhir ini mengkaji faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi penerimaan aplikasi mobile banking Mandiri Online. Penelitian ini menggunakan model UTAUT2 dengan Trust, Perceived Security, Personal Innovativeness, dan User Involvement sebagai faktor yang memengaruhi penerimaan aplikasi tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan secara daring kepada pengguna Mobile Banking Mandiri Online. Sampel yang terkumpul dari 192 orang responden, kemudian diolah menggunakan metode Partial Least Squared Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti Habit, Social Influence, Perceived Security, dan Trust berpengaruh positif terhadap intensi penggunaan aplikasi tersebut. Selain itu penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa Personal Innovativeness berpengaruh positif terhadap tingkat kemudahan yang diharapkan, sedangkan User Involvement berpengaruh positif terhadap harapan kinerja aplikasi. Dampak yang diharapkan dari rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah organisasi dapat meningkatkan jumlah pengguna Mobile Banking Mandiri Online, dengan mengoptimalkan upaya pemasaran kepada nasabah yang menjadi pengguna aplikasi. Hal ini dilakukan melalui pemberian insentif kepada penggguna yang menyampaikan rekomendasi kepada nasabah lainnya, promosi fitur baru, dan pengingat keamanan akun. Selain itu bank perlu memperbaiki kinerja aplikasi berdasarkan masukan pengguna pada application store (toko aplikasi), seperti integrasi sistem pembayaran elektronik serta percepatan interaksi antar muka aplikasi.

 


This research examines factors influencing the acceptance of the Mandiri Online mobile banking application. It utilized the UTAUT2 model with Trust, Perceived Security, Personal Innovativeness, and User Involvement as factors affecting the acceptance of the application. The data were collected using online questionnaires distributed to Mandiri Online Mobile Banking users. There were 192 responses analyzed with the Partial Least Squared Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) method. This research found that factors such as Habit, Social Influence, Perceived Security, and Trust positively affect the intention to use the application. Besides, this study also shows that Personal Innovativeness has a positive effect on the effort expectancy. Moreover, User Involvement has a positive impact on application performance expectancy. This research provides suggestions to increase the number of Mandiri Online Mobile Banking users by optimizing marketing efforts to the users. Examples are granting incentives to users giving recommendations to other Mandiri customers, promoting new features, and providing account security reminders. In addition, the bank should improve application performance based on users’ input at the application store, such as the integration of electronic payment systems, as well accelerated interaction of the application interfaces.

"Tingkat literasi dan inklusi keuangan syariah yang masih rendah mengharuskan Bank Syariah menerbitkan produk dan layanan yang berbasis digital sebagai langkah adaptif terhadap transformasi teknologi. Kemunculan bank digital telah memperkuat pentingnya menyediakan layanan perbankan digital yang lebih mudah, lebih efisien dan lebih nyaman. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisa pengaruh intensi nasabah dalam penerimaan dan penggunaan layanan digital Bank Syariah yang ada di wilayah DKI Jakarta dengan menggunakan model teori UTAUT 2. Pemilihan wilayah DKI Jakarta dinilai penting karena memiliki tingkat literasi dan inklusi keuangan syariah yang paling tinggi dibandingkan wilayah lainnya. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, dan hedonic motivation memiliki pengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap behavioral intention layanan digital Bank Syariah, sedangkan effort expectancy tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Performance expectancy dan price value tidak berpengaruh terhadap behavioral intention, sementara behavioral intention memiliki pengaruh secara langsung terhadap use behavior. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi tambahan literatur akademik dan masukan bagi Bank Syariah untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan menjaga loyalitas nasabah.

The weak level of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion requires Islamic banks to issue digital-based products and services as an adaptive step towards technological transformation. The emergence of digital banks has reinforced the importance of providing digital banking services that are easier, more efficient, and more convenient. The study was conducted to analys the effect of customer intentions in accepting and using Islamic Bank digital services in Jakarta using the UTAUT 2 theory model. The selection of the Jakarta area is considered important because it has the highest level of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion compared to other regions. The research methodology used in this study was quantitative descriptive with Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) techniques. Based on the results of this study, it was found that social influence, facilitating conditions, habit, and hedonic motivation have a positive and significant influence on behavioral intention of Islamic Bank digital services, while effort expectancy has no significant effect. Performance expectancy and price value have no effect on behavioral intention, while behavioral intention has a direct influence on user behavior. The results of this study are expected to be additional academic literature and input for Islamic banks to improve service quality and maintain customer loyalty."

Tingginya pertumbuhan pengguna internet dan smartphone di Indonesia berdampak pada munculnya berbagai perusahaan start up digital. Inovasi yang mereka tawarkan telah banyak mengubah kebiasaan masyarakat, salah satunya adalah kebiasaan berdonasi secara daring. Walaupun demikian, wakaf, sebagai salah satu bentuk donasi dalam agama Islam belum banyak diminati oleh masyarakat. Platform digital wakaf yang telah tersedia dirasakan belum berhasil membudayakan wakaf khususnya pada generasi Milenial yang akan  mendominasi 70% angkatan kerja di Indonesia pada 2020-2030. Penelitian ini mencoba menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi intensi Milenial dalam menggunakan teknologi wakaf. Sebuah video pemasaran digunakan untuk membangun persepsi awal responden terhadap wakaf dan inovasi digital yang ditawarkan. Efektivitas penggunaan video tersebut kemudian diukur menggunakan EPIC Model. Modifikasi dari teori penerimaan teknologi UTAUT2 dipilih untuk menganalisis determinan digital wakaf. Analisis kuantitatif berbasis PLS SEM menunjukkan variabel Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, dan Sosial influence berpengaruh signifikan terhadap intensi generasi milenial menggunakan teknologi digital wakaf uang. Video edukasi dan pemasaran produk digital wakaf yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini juga terbukti sangat efektif menarik minat generasi Milenial dalam berwakaf.

 


High growth of internet and smartphone users has resulted in the emergence of various digital start-up companies. Those innovation has changed people’s habit, one of which is the online donation habit. However, waqf as a form of Islamic endowment has not been much in demand by the public. Today’s existing digital waqf platform has not succeeded in cultivating waqf in communities, specifically for Millennials which will dominate 70% Indonesia’s workforce in 2020-2030. This research aims to find Millennials determinants of waqf technology adoption using modified UTAUT2 model. To build respondent perception of waqf and innovation proposed, a short video was used since its rise as marketing tool. This research also examines video marketing effectiveness using EPIC model. Result from data analysis using PLS SEM model shows that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, and Social Influence are major determinants toward waqf technology acceptance. Video marketing is also found to be very effective as a marketing tool for digital waqf.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat dan pengadopsian layanan Buy Online Pick-up in Store (BOPS) pada konsumen di Indonesia. Faktor-faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan pada modifikasi Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) dan beberapa dimensi lainnya. Studi ini merupakan cross-sectional dengan melakukan survey kepada 340 konsumen yang pernah menggunakan layanan BOPS sebelumnya dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat konsumen untuk menggunakan kembali layanan BOPS adalah motivasi hedonis, kompatibilitas, orientasi untuk berhemat, inovasi personal, dan kepercayaan. Selain itu, kepercayaan dan niat konsumen merupakan prediktor penggunaan layanan BOPS di Indonesia.

This study aims to identify the factors influencing customers' intention and usage of the Buy Online Pick-up in Store (BOPS) service in Indonesia. The factors examined in this study are based on modifying the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) and expanded with additional dimensions. The research surveyed 340 existing BOPS customers in Indonesia. The result shows hedonic motivation, compatibility, price-saving orientation, personal innovativeness, and trust are predictors of the customer's intention to use the BOPS service in the future. Moreover, trust and continuance intention were found to be the factors that influence customers to adopt BOPS service. Meanwhile, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence do not significantly affect customers' intention to use the BOPS service. The output of this study adds the existing knowledge that explains customer behavior, BOPS explicitly as one of omnichannel service."

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi UTAUT2 dan Hedonic Motivation, Price Value dan Perceived Risk berpengaruh secara langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap use intention pada pengguna QRIS. Desain survei digunakan untuk menguji 4 hipotesis penelitian yaitu pengaruh interactivity terhadap konstruk UTAUT2 dan habit, Pengaruh intelligent terhadap konstruk UTAUT2 dan Habit, Pengaruh convenience terhadap konstruk UTAUT2 dan habit, Pengaruh konstruk UTAUT2 dan Hedonic Motivation, Price Value dan Perceived Risk terhadap use intention. Dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, data dikumpulkan dari 324 responden yang belum pernah menggunakan QRIS. Selanjutnya, model penelitian dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM. Hasil pengolahan data memperlihatkan 4 hipotesis signifikan. Terbukti bahwa interactivity memiliki dampak langsung terhadap konstruk UTAUT2 dan habit. Intelligent terbukti memiliki dampak langsung terhadap konstruk UTAUT2 dan habit. Convenience terbukti memiliki dampak langsung terhadap konstruk UTAUT2 dan habit. Selanjutnya UTAUT2 dan Hedonic Motivation, Price Value dan Perceived Risk terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap use intention produk QRIS. Dengan demikian, hasil ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pengembangan dan pemasaran produk QRIS, menyoroti pentingnya memperhatikan faktor-faktor seperti performance expectancy, effort expectancy, subjective norms, facilitating conditions, habit, hedonic motivation, price value, dan perceived risk dalam merancang strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan adopsi dan penggunaan QRIS. Selain itu, fitur-fitur seperti interaktivitas, kecerdasan, dan kenyamanan juga dapat dianggap sebagai faktor penting yang berkontribusi pada peningkatan penerimaan dan penggunaan QRIS.

The aim of this research is to identify UTAUT2 and Hedonic Motivation, Price Value and Perceived Risk which have a direct and indirect influence on use intention of QRIS users. A survey design was used to test 4 research hypotheses, namely the influence of interactivity on the UTAUT2 construct and habit, the influence of intelligence on the UTAUT2 and Habit constructs, the influence of convenience on the UTAUT2 construct and habit, the influence of the UTAUT2 construct and Hedonic Motivation, Price Value and Perceived Risk on use intention. Using purposive sampling techniques, data was collected from 324 respondents who had never used QRIS. Next, the research model was analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results of data processing show 4 significant hypotheses. It is proven that interactivity has a direct impact on the UTAUT2 construct and habit. Intelligent is proven to have a direct impact on the UTAUT2 construct and habits. Convenience is proven to have a direct impact on the UTAUT2 construct and habit. Furthermore, UTAUT2 and Hedonic Motivation, Price Value and Perceived Risk were proven to have a positive and significant effect on use intention for QRIS products. Thus, these results provide important insights for the development and marketing of QRIS products, highlighting the importance of paying attention to factors such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, subjective norms, facilitating conditions, habit, hedonic motivation, price value, and perceived risk in designing effective strategies to increase the adoption and use of QRIS. Additionally, features such as interactivity, intelligence, and convenience can also be considered important factors contributing to the increased acceptance and use of QRIS

"Indonesia memiliki populasi yang besar dan pertumbuhan pengguna smartphone dalam beberapa tahun terakhir menciptakan pasar potensial untuk produk digital. Perkembangan internet dan teknologi menciptakan inovasi pada berbagai industri yang memungkinkan konsumen untuk mengakses produk dan layanan dengan mudah dan mulus. Dengan adanya perubahan perilaku konsumen, penyedia layanan berbasis digital mengembangkan platform online, yang dapat diakses kapan saja dan di mana saja, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginan konsumen dalam bentuk aplikasi On-Demand Services. Produk atau layanan dapat dengan mudah dipesan oleh konsumen dalam "satu klik" melalui aplikasi pada smartphone dan akan segera dikirimkan kepada konsumen. Seiring berjalannya waktu, perusahaan pengembang aplikasi On-Demand Service mengembangkan portofolio bisnis mereka ke high-contact services dengan beberapa kategori baru yaitu housing atau cleaning, laundry, repair services, health, dan beauty. Kategori ini juga menawarkan layanan yang terpersonalisasi. Studi ini menganalisis intensitas konsumen untuk menggunakan aplikasi On-Demand Service dengan menganalisa variabel dalam Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2). Data dari responden dianalisis menggunakan teknik pemodelan persamaan struktural (SEM). Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh positif yang signifikan yang disebabkan oleh habit, immediacy, effort expectancy, dan performance expectancy. Namun, penerimaan konsumen terhadap teknologi seperti ini juga dipengaruhi oleh perceived privacy konsumen ketika mereka mulai khawatir tentang pertukaran informasi pribadi yang terjadi selama menikmati layanan. Studi ini menemukan bahwa niat konsumen untuk menggunakan aplikasi On-Demand Service tidak dimoderasi oleh perceived privacy mereka.

Indonesia has a large population and the growth of smartphone user in recent years defines a potential market for digital products. Establishment of the internet and technology advances creates innovations in various industry that allow consumers to access product and services easily and seamlessly. As consumer behavior is changing, digital service provider develops an online platform, which can be accessed anytime and anywhere, to fulfill consumer's needs and wants in the form of On-Demand Services application. Products or services can be easily ordered by consumers in "one-click" on the mobile application and will be delivered to the consumers immediately. By the time, On-Demand Services application provider scale up their business portfolio to high-contact services in several new categories namely housing or cleaning, laundry, repair services, health, and beauty. These new categories offer personalized services as well. This study analyzes the consumer's intention to use On-Demand Services application by examining variables in Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2). Data collected from respondents were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) technique. The findings of this study indicate significant positive impact caused by habit, immediacy, effort expectancy, and performance expectancy. However, consumer's acceptance of this kind of technology is also affected by their perceived privacy as they start to concern about personal information exchanging is occurred during consumption of the services. This study found that the consumer's intention to use On-Demand Services Application is not moderated by their perceived privacy."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, habit, self-efficacy, dan trust terhadap behavioral intention siswa di DKI Jakarta dalam menggunakan Zenius. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode survei berdasarkan purposive sampling terhadap populasi. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 orang yang didapatkan melalui online questionnaire. Data yang didapatkan diolah menggunakan SPSS dan Microsoft Excel 2016 melalui analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa performance expectancy, habit, dan trust memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap behavioral intention. Sementara itu, ditemukan bahwa effort expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, dan self-efficacy tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap behavioral intention

The purpose of this study is to analyse the effect of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, habit, self-efficacy, and trust on behavioral intention of students in DKI Jakarta in using Zenius. The study used a quantitative approach through survey method based on purposive sampling of the population. The number of respondents in this study was 100 people who were obtained through an online questionnaire. The data obtained were processed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel 2016 through descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the relationship between performance expectancy, habit, and trust has a significant and positive influence on behavioral intention. Meanwhile, it was found that effort expectancy, social influence, hedonic motivation, and self-efficacy did not have a significant effect on behavioral intention.

"This study investigates what factors persuade consumers to purchase e-money via syariah m-banking applications. Researchers extended the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT 2) to find new information as well as to accommodate the limitations and discussions of previous studies. A purposive sampling technique was adapted to select respondent criteria. The collected data from 120 respondents were analyzed using Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), supported by WarpPLS 8.0, through three main stages of analysis: measurement model, structural model, and hypothesis testing. Additional analysis was undertaken to produce robust findings by explaining multicollinearity, common method bias, and multigroup analysis by categorizing two groups of respondents (male and female). Researchers found that only social influence and hedonic motivation have a significant effect on trust from the UTAUT 2 model. On the other hand, two exogenous constructs in the mobile service quality model proved to have a significant effect on trust, security (privacy), and practicality. Furthermore, the research showed that trust is a fundamental factor in influencing continuance intention because it produces the largest effect size (f-square) and significant path coefficient value. The findings should encourage all Islamic banking stakeholders and practitioners to increase individual trust by creating educational and innovative programs connected with consuming digital banking services, especially e-money purchases."

"Industri fintech di Indonesia tumbuh pesat didorong oleh percepatan digitalisasi selama pandemi dan pendanaan yang positif pada kategori Fintech di ASEAN. Sebagai negara berkembang dengan jumlah populasi unbanked yang tinggi, penggunaan m-payment berpotensi membantu tercapainya inklusi keuangan melalui kemudahan akses terhadap layanan keuangan yang bermanfaat dan terjangkau. Studi ini menggabungkan UTAUT2 dan ECM untuk memahami faktor yang secara signifikan memengaruhi intensi penggunaan m-payment secara berkelanjutan di kalangan Gen Z sebagai target pelanggan potensial di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa intensi penggunaan m-payment berkelanjutan secara positif dipengaruhi oleh Habit, Hedonic Motivation, Satisfaction, Facilitating Condition. Terdapat pula pengaruh tidak langsung dari Performance Expectancy terhadap intensi penggunaan berkelanjutan melalui mediasi variabel Satisfaction. Selain itu, studi menemukan peran mediasi Performance Expectancy pada hubungan Effort Expectancy dan Confirmation terhadap Satisfaction.

Indonesia’s fintech industry is rapidly growing, driven by the acceleration of digitalization during the pandemic and positive investor engagement in the Fintech category in ASEAN. As a developing country with a large unbanked population, the use of m-payments has the potential to help improve financial inclusion through better access to useful and affordable financial services. This study combines UTAUT2 and ECM to investigate factors that significantly influence the continuance intention in using m-payments among Gen Z as potential target customers in Indonesia. The findings showed that continuance intention to use mpayments was positively influenced by Habit, Hedonic Motivation, Satisfaction, Facilitating Condition. There is also an indirect effect of Performance Expectancy on continuance intentions through the mediation of the Satisfaction. In addition, the study found the mediating role of Performance Expectancy in the relationship between Effort Expectancy and Confirmation on Satisfaction."
