Abstrak :
Nutritional cosmetics is an emerging area of intense research and marketing and encompasses the concept that orally consumed dietary products can support healthier and more beautiful skin. There are numerous dietary ingredients now being marketed for their potential skin health and beauty benefits and many of these are supported by growing scientific evidence. The purpose of this book is to compile the scientific evidence showing the potential benefits of some of the more extensively researched ingredients. As far as possible, information about the benefits of ingredients consumed orally for skin health is presented. The information contained in this book will help provide insights into an emerging research area and provide scientific background for the potential clinical effectiveness for some of the better researched nutricosmetic ingredients. Xerosis dan pruritus merupakan masalah kulit yang paling sering dikeluhkan oleh lansia. Terdapat faktor ekstrinsik dan intrinsik yang menyebabkan terjadinya masalah tersebut. Faktor ekstrinsik diantaranya paparan sinar ultraviolet, debu, polusi udara, dan kebersihan diri dan lingkungan lansia yang kurang diperhatikan. Faktor intrinsik diantaranya pertambahan usia seseorang yang bersamaan dengan penurunan fisiologis pada sistem integumen. Karya ilmiah ini menjelaskan mengenai asuhan keperawatan gangguan integritas kulit melalui intervensi perawatan kulit: perawatan topikal dengan pelembab mengandung colloidal oatmeal. Asuhan keperawatan dilakukan selama 5 minggu dengan hasil yang menunjukkan terjadinya penurunan tingkat kekeringan, penurunan rasa gatal, dan peningkatan kepuasan klien terhadap perawatan yang diberikan. ......Xerosis and pruritus is a skin problem that is most often complained by the elderly. There are extrinsic and intrinsic factors that cause these problems. Extrinsic factors include ultraviolet light, dust, air pollution, personal hygiene and the environment of the elderly that are less noticed. Intrinsic factors include increasing age followed by physiological decline in the integumentary system. This scientific work explains skin care through an intervention in skin care: topical treatments with moisturizers containing colloidal oatmeal. Nursing care is carried out for 5 weeks with results that show a decrease in the level of dryness in the skin, decreased itching, and increased client satisfaction with the treatment provided.

Berbagai macam penyakit kulit yang terjadi pada pasien dengan PGK salah satunya adalah dermatitis. Karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa kasus perawatan kulit pada pasien PGK. Case study ini dilakukan pada pasien PGK dengan hemodialisa yang mengalami komplikasi gangguan kulit dermatitis. Hasil case study ini menunjukkan bahwa perawatan kulit dengan pemberian emolien yaitu Vaselin Album yang harus diberikan 30 menit sebelum pemberian kortikosteroid topikal yaitu Mometasone furoate 0,1% dapat mengurangi gangguan integritas kulit pasien yang dibuktikkan dengan penurunan skor Scoring Atopic Dermatitis (SCORED) dari 31,1 ke 19,2. Hasil karya ilmiah ini menunjukkan bahwa perawatan kulit dengan menggunakan emolien yaitu Vaselin Album yang diberikan 30 menit sebelum pemberian kortikosteroid topikal yaitu Mometasone furoate 0,1% dapat efektif mengurangi gangguan integritas pada kulit pasien. Rekomendasi dari penulisan ini bahwa intervensi tersebut dapat terbukti efektif guna mengurangi kondisi inflamasi kulit pada pasien PGK. Various types of skin diseases occur in patients with CKD, one of which is dermatitis. This scientific work aims to analyze cases of skin care in CKD patients. This case study was carried out on CKD patients with hemodialysis who experienced complications of dermatitis skin disorders. The results of this study show that skin care with emollient administration, Vaseline Album which must be given 30 minutes before topical corticosteroid administration, namely Mometasone furoate 0.1% can reduce the disturbance of patients skin integrity as evidenced by a decrease in Scoring Atopic Dermatitis score (SCORED) of 31,1 to 19,2. The results of this scientific work show that skin care using emollients, namely Vaseline Album, which was given 30 minutes before topical corticosteroid administration, namely Mometasone furoate 0.1%, can effectively reduce integrity disorders in the patient's skin. The recommendation of this paper is that these interventions can be proven effective in reducing skin inflammatory conditions in CKD patients. It is proven by the reduced signs and symptoms of dermatitis in patients.
