"ABSTRAK
Penyakit Psoriaris dapat mengganggu penderita dari segi fisik, karena mengalami perubahan kulit berupa sisik yang tebal, sehingga secara psikologis dapat berdampak menurunkan kualitas hidup penderita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran kepercayaan diri remaja perempuan penderita Psoriasis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif (studi kasus) dengan tiga orang remaja perempuan yang menderita Psoriasis sejak kecil, dan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan wawancara. Hasil ini mendapatkan gambaran mengenai kepercayaan diri remaja perempua penderita Psoriasis terhadap penampilan fisiknya agar bisa diterima dalam lingkungan. Kepercayaan diri ini menjadi penting bagi remaja penderita Psoriasis untuk dapat beradaptasi dan diterima oleh lingkungan sosialnya."

Jumlah remaja kelurahan Sindang Barang Bogor adalah 20 % dari jumlah penduduknya
Pada masa remaja terjadi berbagai perubahan baik fisik maupun psikologis dan social.
Dalam perkembangannya, remaja mengalami berbagai stress psikologis, tekanan dari
teman sebaya dan gejolak emosi akibat perubahan dalam dirinya. Remaja memerlukan
kegiatan mental untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan sosial dalam menghadapi setiap
permasalahan hidup yang dihadapinya melalui suatu latihan mengembangkan
kepercayaan diri. Penelitian yang dilakukan berjudul “ pengaruh latihan membangun
rasa percaya diri” bertujuan mengembangkan rasa percaya diri remaja.Metode
penelitian ini dengan desain quasi experiment melalui pendekatan pre dan post test dan
tehnik pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling, responden berjumlah 90 orang
remaja yang dibagi dalam tiga kelompok latihan. Latihan kelompok pertama diberi
buku pedoman , dilatih serta dibimbing dua kali, kelompok kedua diberi buku pedoman,
dilatih dan tanpa dibimbing serta kelompok ketiga hanya diberi buku pedoman tanpa
dilatih dan dibimbing. Rasa percaya diri diukur sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan
menggunakan kuesioner. Kemudian hasil ini dianalisis secara statistik . Hasil penelitian
membuktikan ada perbedaan peningkatan rasa percaya diri secara bermakna sebelum
dan sesudah intervensi pada ketiga kelompok. Rasa percaya diri remaja yang diberi
buku pedoman, dilatih dan dibimbing dua kali lebih meningkat dari dua cara lainnya.
Usia remaja berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan rasa percaya diri. Disarankan kegiatan
mengembangkan rasa percaya diri remaja dengan memberi buku pedoman, dilatih dan
dibimbing

ABSTRACT
Adolescent at Sindang Barang Village Bogor City are about 20% of total population. In
their development, adolescent are having various physic, psychologic and social changes
and facing various psychologic stresses, pressure from their peer and emotional
fluctuation due to the changes in their body. Thus, adolescent need mental activity to
improve their social capability in facing every problem they have through a self
confidence development training.This research was aimed to develop adolescent self
confidence. Method used was quasi experiment design using pre and post test approach.
90 adolescents were selected by porpusive sampling, devided into three groups. Training
given was differed into three groups, first group given guideline book, trained and guided
twice, second group given guideline book, trained without being guided, and the third
group only given guideline book without being trained and guided. Self confidence was
evaluated before and after intervention using questionaire, and analized statistically. The
result revealed that there was a significant difference in increased self confidence before
and after intervention given to the three groups. Self confidence of adolescent who given
guideline book, trained and guided twice have increased compared to the two other
groups. Adolescent age have an influence on increased self confidence. It is suggested to
develop adolescent self confidence by giving guideline book, training and guidance."

"Background: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Mental skill training (PST) to enhance self-confidence of PPLP DKI Jakarta taekwondoin athletes in competition preparation phase. Methods: Eight athletes, a coach and his asisstant are the participants of this study. Eight taekwondoin athlete were given a PST program, and self-confidence measurement were conducted before and after intervention bas completed. The coach and his assistant were asked to give their evaluation by completing Athlete’s Self-Confidence Evaluation Form. Results: This study shows that PST influences self-confidence. The results of this Study also suggests that PST should be integrated in the preparation phase; using breathing technique, positive self-talk, and imagery training before exercise, as well as breathing and relaxation after a training exercise."

"This stuy investigated the effect of cooperative learning techniques (Jigsaw II and STAD) on speaking competency viewed from students' self-confidence (high and low). ' Posttest only control group' design with 2x2 factorial arrangement using two-way ANOVA and Turkey Test was employed. The second semester students majoring in English education in Mahasaraswati University were sampled and involved in the experiment. The findings indicated that there was a significant effect of cooperative learning techniques (Jigsaw II and STAD) on students' speaking competency. The students with high self-confidence speak better after they were treated using Jigsaw II than using STAD. However, no difference was found when the low self-confidence were treated using the two techniques. This study provided an empirical evidence of the importance for taking self-confidence into consideration when a teacher decided to implement a new teaching technique in his/her class."

Media sosial menjadi sarana bagi orang untuk berbagi dan mengonsumsi konten yang terkonstruksi secara sosial oleh individu yang menggunakannya. Konstruksi sosial dapat mempengaruhi wanita milenial yang menggunakan media sosial secara ekstensif untuk berpikir kembali terhadap kepercayaan diri mereka, terutama dalam citra tubuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan Symbolic Interaction Theory, dimana makna yang terkonstruksi dapat mempengaruhi diri, pikiran, dan masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana wanita milenial mencari kepercayaan diri melalui media sosial, dan juga untuk mengungkap dampak media sosial pada gagasan kepercayaan diri di seluruh citra tubuh wanita. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari wawancara dengan wanita yang lahir pada tahun 1990-2000 yang tertarik pada ide Body Positivity. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media sosial juga dapat menjadi platform motivasi bagi perempuan untuk memiliki tempat di mana mereka dapat menjadi dirinya sendiri.

ABSTRACT
Social media become a platform for people to share and consume contents that are socially constructed by individuals who use it. Social construction may influence millennial women who use social media extensively to think about their self-confidence, especially their body image. This research is using Symbolic Interaction Theory, where constructed meaning can influence the self, mind, and society. The objectives of this research are to explore how millennial women seek for self-confidence through social media, and also to uncover the impact of social media on the idea of self-confidence across women rsquo;s body image. This research collects data from interviews with women who are born in 1990-2000 that are interested in Body Positivity. Therefore, this study suggests that social media can also become a motivational platform for women to have a place where they belong "

"Pada era globalisasi saat ini dapat kita ketahui bahwa semakin banyak perempuan yang memilih untuk berkontribusi dan mengembangkan karier mereka di suatu organisasi atau perusahaan. Namun, perempuan memiliki hambatan tersendiri ketika ingin mengembangkan karier mereka peristiwa ini biasanya disebut dengan fenmena glass-ceiling atau adanya langit-langit kaca yang tidak terlihat namun menjadi hambatan bagi perkembangan karier perempuan. Faktor-faktor glass-ceiling dapat berasal dari lingkungan eksternal maupun hambatan yang tercipta dari individu itu sendiri, perkembangan zaman dan juga penyuaraan tentang kesetaraan gender membuat lingkungan masyarakat seharusnya lebih peka terhadap perkembangan karier perempuan pada masa ini. Salah satu upaya yang sudah terealisasi dalam upaya pengembangan karier perempuan adalah sistem gender quota yaitu sistem penetapan kuota tertetu atas keterlibatan perempuan di tempat kerja. Namun, sistem ini tidak akan berjalan dengan baik apabila perempuan memiliki barriers yang muncul dalam diri mereka sendiri. Indivdual barriers perempuan juga dapat menjadi hambatan dalam perkembangan karier mereka seperti rendahnya efikasi diri (self-efficacy) dan juga percaya diri (self-confidence) yang membuat mereka merasa tidak mampu untuk mengembangkan karier mereka di tempat kerja. Penelitian yang berbentuk studi eksplorasi ini akan menguji pengaruh self-efficacy, self-confidence dan gender quota terhadap fenomena glass ceiling di lingkungan sektor pendidikan khususnya perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini akan meggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mewwancarai 10 narasumber yang memiliki profesi sebagai dosen, dekan, wakil dekan, kepala departemen dan guru besar perempuan di universitas negeri dan swasta di daerah Jawa.

In the current era of globalization, we can see that many women are choosing to contribute to the development of a company. However, women have their own obstacles when they want to develop their careers, this event is usually called the glass-ceiling phenomenon or the existence of an invisible glass ceiling that becomes an obstacle to women's career development. glass-ceiling factors can come from the external environment as well as barriers created by the individual himself, the development of the times and also the voice about gender makes the community environment should be more sensitive to career development at this time. One of the efforts that have been realized in efforts to develop women's careers is the gender quota system, namely the determination of certain quotas for women's involvement in the workplace. However, this system will not work well if women have obstacles that arise within themselves. Women's individual barriers can also be obstacles in their career development such as self-efficacy and self-confidence which makes them feel unable to develop their careers at work. This research in the form of an exploratory study will examine the effect of self-efficacy, self-confidence and gender quota on the glass ceiling phenomenon in the education sector, especially universities. This study will use a qualitative method by interviewing 10 resource persons who have professions as lecturers, vice deans, heads of departments and female professors at public and private universities in Java."

"Makalah ini membahas fenomena geng remaja dari perspektif komunikasi. Secara khusus, mengkaji konsep konformitas dan kepercayaan diri dengan fokus pada remaja anggota geng di Jakarta: kesenangan dan kesulitan remaja menjadi bagian dari geng demi pengakuan dan rasa hormat dari orang lain, motif di balik kenakalan remaja sebagai hasil dari konformitas selama proses penyesuaian, juga konformitas dan kepercayaan diri remaja dalam geng. Melalui analisis penelitian sebelumnya (tinjauan pustaka), penelitian ini menunjukkan hal-hal berikut sehubungan dengan fenomena geng remaja: (a) geng remaja adalah fenomena yang diakui secara luas yang memiliki peran positif dan negatif; (b) terdapat memiliki faktor internal dan eksternal yang memotivasi remaja untuk bergabung dengan geng; (c) konformitas adalah upaya remaja dalam mengurangi ketidakpastian; (d) kenakalan remaja merupakan salah satu akibat konformitas; dan (e) kepercayaan diri remaja anggota geng disumbangkan dalam konformitas selama proses penyesuaian.

This paper addresses the phenomenon of adolescent gangs from a communication perspective. Specifically, it examines the concepts of conformity and self-confidence with a particular focus on adolescents gang members in Jakarta: adolescents’ excitement and difficulty in being part of a gang for the sake of validation and respect from others, the motives behind juvenile delinquency as a result of conformity during the adjustment process, also adolescents’ conformity and self-confidence in gangs. Through the analysis of previous research (literature review), this research indicates the following with respect to the adolescent gang phenomenon: (a) adolescents gang are a widely recognized phenomenon that has both positive and negative roles; (b) adolescents have internal and external factors that motivate them to join gangs; (c) conformity is adolescents’ effort in reducing uncertainty; (d) juvenile delinquency is one of the outcomes of conformity; and (e) the confidence in adolescents gang members are contributed in conformity during the adjustment process."
