ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami persepsi pemustaka terhadap tata ruang pada perpustakaan SMAN 47 Jakarta Selatan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus deskriptif. Masalah yang ada dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetaui bagaimana persepsi pemustaka, yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, pembina perpustakaan, guru, staff perpustakaan dan siswa terhadap penerapan tata ruang pada perpustakaan setelah direnovasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemustaka sudah merasa nyaman dan cukup puas dengan tata ruang yang baru namun masih ada kendala yaitu kurangnya luas ruang perpustakaan.
Abstract The objective of this research is to understand the users perception about interior design in Library of 47 Senior High School, South Jakarta. This research is qualitatif research with descriptive case study method. The problem of this research is to know how perception of users whom are the principle, coordinator of library, teacher, library staff and student, on the design of the library room after had been renovated. The result of the study shows that users become to feel comfortable and satisfield with the new design, but there is still a lack of the size necessary of the library room.

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran perpustakaan SD dan SMP Al-Izhar Jakarta dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pengguna. Permasalahan penelitian ini adalah peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran perpustakaan SD dan SMP Al-Izhar Jakarta dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa peran perpustakaan sekolah Al-Izhar Jakarta dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi penggunanya berupa program semester kebutuhan materi sekolah Al-Izhar. Perpustakaan sekolah Al-Izhar merupakan wadah yang digunakan penggunanya untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dan pengetahuan yang mereka cari. ......The Study discusess the role of the Al Izhar and elementary school libraries in Jakarta in serving the needs of information of its users. The isssue of this study is on the role of the school library in fulfilling the need of its users. The study aims to illustrate the role of Al Izhar‟s Elementary and Junior High school libraries in fulfilling the need for information by the library users. The method of this study uses the qualitative method with case studies. The researcher can summarize that the role of the school Library of Al Izhar Jakarta is is to fulfill and meet the semesterial program of the school called kebutuhan materi sekolah. The Al Izhar Library is the place for users to obtain the needs for information and knowledge that they are searching for.
