ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas mengenai analisis pengelolaan proyek berbasis IT di PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM). Saat ini, pengelolaan proyek berbasis IT di AHM belum optimal karena belum standarnya pengelolaan proyek di AHM, tidak adanya kriteria untuk memilih dan mengevaluasi proyek sehingga proyek yang dikerjakan berada diluar kapasitas perusahaan sehingga penggunaan sumber daya menjadi tidak efektif, waktu pengerjaan proyek menjadi semakin lama yang terlihat beberapa proyek terhambat dan tidak selesai dikerjakan setiap tahunnya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa AHM perlu menerapkan metode
Project Portfolio Management dalam mengelola proyek berbasis IT di AHM dengan membuat suatu rerangka khusus yang didesain untuk diterapkan di AHM. Rerangka tersebut mencakup dari apa saja yang harus dilakukan sebelum melakukan implementasi Project Portfolio Management, termasuk pihak-pihak yang terlibat beserta peran dan tanggung jawabnya masing-masing dan aktivitas yang dilakukan di setiap fase Project Portfolio Management yang telah didesain.
ABSTRACTThis study focuses on the analysis of IT-based project Management at PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM). Currently, the management of IT-based project in the AHM is still not optimal because the implementation of most of the projects is not following the standard of project management. It reflects on the absence of selecting and evaluating all project initiatives which resulted in lack of project resource, project delay, and so on. This thesis is using qualitative research with case study. The results of this study suggest that AHM need to apply the Project Portfolio Management method in managing IT-based projects in AHM by designing a framework that specially designed to be implemented in AHM. The framework covers of what should be done prior to the implementation of Project Portfolio Management, including the parties involved and their roles and responsibilities and also the activities performed in each phase of the method."

"Manajemen klaim adalah proses penggunaan dan koordinasi sumber daya untuk memajukan klaim dari identifikasi dan analisis melalui persiapan, dan presentasi, sebelum melanjutkan ke negosiasi dan penyelesaian. Kasus klaim di Indonesia masih cukup banyak yang mengalami beberapa kendala dalam proses pengajuan klaim. Persentase nilai klaim yang disetujui atau tingkat keberhasilan klaim masih sangat rendah. Karena banyaknya klaim dalam beberapa proyek, diperlukan strategi untuk memprioritaskan klaim yang akan diajukan sesuai dengan kriteria yang ditentukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor Manajemen Portofolio Proyek (PPM) yang diterapkan untuk memprioritaskan klaim dalam manajemen klaim multi proyek guna untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan klaim yang diajukan oleh kontraktor. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur dan metode survei yang dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden kontraktor spesialis di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor & kriteria Manajemen Portofolio Proyek (PPM) dapat diterapkan dalam memprioritaskan klaim dalam manajemen klaim untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan klaim.
Claims management is the process of using and coordinating resources to advance claims from identification and analysis through preparation, and presentation, before proceeding to negotiation and settlement. There are still quite a number of claims cases in Indonesia where there are several obstacles in the claim submission process. The percentage of approved claim value or claim success rate is still very low. Due to the significant number of claims in multiple projects, a strategy is needed to prioritize claims that will be submitted according to the specified criteria. This study aims to determine the factors of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) that are applied to prioritize claims in multi-project claim management in order to increase the success of claims submitted by contractors. This study uses a literature study and survey method conducted by distributing questionnaires to respondents in specialist contractors in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) factors & criteria can be applied in prioritizing claims in to increase the success of claims."

"Many researchers assess the tools and techniques to optimize the project portfolio management. Most of those tools treat each project within a portfolio as an independent entity. Starting in 2010 onwards, many researchers considered the importance of Project Interdependencies (PI) in defining the Project Portfolio (PP); however, those researchers treated PI as a static condition. Organization strategy has dynamic characteristics caused by internal dynamics as well as external forces. Since the PP is a bridge between organization strategy and the program/project, the PP has to have a dynamic ability, in order to support the organizational strategy dynamics. This research applies an interactive approach using System Dynamics (SD) modelling to represent the PI dynamics as well as a project selection tool/technique within a project portfolio. A case study was conducted with the Bandung Urban Waterworks (PDAM Tirtawening). The outcomes of this research suggest that the model developed by the SD approach is: 1) one of the tools and techniques is to specify the PI dynamics; 2) to determine project priority in order to optimize the project portfolio. SD approach has the ability to challenge an organization’s perception of their project portfolio interdependencies and to enhance strategic decision making capabilities. PI on this research is driven by project outcomes. PI that driven by other reasons, such as by market, resources, knowledge, etc., should be leveraged more, to figure out a complete picture of the PI importance within Project Portfolio Management (PPM)."
