This study is focusing to an imperative need of monitoring project system that provide better tools for project manager, or executive level, to plan the mitigation action by detecting any risks in its early stage. The multiple case studies have been performed to engineering projects that been closely monitor in the aspect of project technicalities, but not particularly from the aspect of project management.
The study recommends audit framework in the form of; self-audit (a control based of self-assessment by the internal project team) and audit (a control by the external project team). Proper implementation of that two recommended audits will minimize the overall project risk.

"Customer-driven supply chains : strategies for lean and agile supply chain design reviews the concept of lean thinking and its relationship to other key initiatives associated with supply chain management. Detailed industrial case studies based on the authors’ experience illustrate the principles behind lean supply chains. Moreover, a series of diagrams are used to illustrate critical concepts and supply chain architectures. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of transferring lean principles from the organisational level to the supply chain level. The theory and principles behind lean supply chains are reviewed. Other concepts related to lean supply chains discussed in the book include, mass customisation, agility, information sharing and the bullwhip effect. A methodology used to measure the performance of supply chains is introduced. This methodology comprises the tools of decision timeline, data-flow diagramming, supply chain value stream mapping and a performance measurement scorecard."

"Maintenance management information systems are essential to ensure control, gain knowledge and improve-decision making in companies dealing with network infrastructure, such as distribution of gas, water, electricity and telecommunications.
Divided into three major sections, maintenance management in network utilities defines a series of stages which can be followed to manage maintenance frameworks properly. Different case studies provide detailed descriptions which illustrate the experience in real company situations. An introduction to the concepts is followed by main sections including :
- A literature review : covering the basic concepts and models needed for framework design, development and implementation.
- Framework design and definition : developing the basic pillars of network utilities maintenance management framework.
- Performance evaluation & maturity : focusing on the reliability concept and maturity models from different viewpoints."

"This book offers a comprehensive guide to implementing a company-wide management system (CWMS), utilising up-to-date methodologies of lean-six sigma in order to achieve high levels of business excellence. It builds the foundation for quality and continuous improvement, which can be implemented in any organization.
The book begins with an introduction to and an overview of CWMSs, and reviews the existing literature on various management systems. It then discusses the integration and implementation of lean-six sigma in supply chain management. The integration approach presented highlights the link between the existing management systems and shows how continuous improvement methodologies are incorporated. The book then examines the components of CWMS, comparing them to other systems. It also explores Kano-based six sigma and concludes with further recommendations for reading.
This book covers five management systems integrated into one novel approach that can be followed by organizations wishing to achieve quality and business excellence. Covering lean-six sigma – an essential element of management systems – it is a valuable resource for practitioners and academics alike."
