"Semakin berkembangnya sebuah industri, maka peran Public Relations (PR) semakin penting terutama bagi industri kelapa sawit yang sering menjadi sasaran kampanye negatif dengan berbagai isu lingkungan dan sosial. Munculnya laporan Associated Press pada 18 November 2020 terkait eksploitasi perempuan di industri kelapa sawit mendorong Public Relations PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk untuk melakukan manajemen isu dalam rangka mempertahankan citra perusahaan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi manajemen isu PR di PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk dalam menghadapi isu perempuan melalui program Agrovaria Lovepink. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan strategi penelitian studi kasus. Untuk mengumpulkan data, teknik yang dilakukan adalah in-depth interview dengan berfokus pada langkah-langkah manajemen isu yang dilakukan mulai dari penyusunan rencana hingga evaluasi oleh Public Relations PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan PR PT astra Agro Lestari tbk melakukan proses manajemen isu ketika isu tersebut berada di ¬fase emerging issue dan melakukan program pengendalian melalui implementasi strategi event, publikasi, kolaborasi/kerjasama, dan social responsibility yang dibalut dalam sebuah program bernama Agrovaria Lovepink.

As an industry develops, the role of Public Relations (PR) becomes increasingly important, especially for the palm oil industry, which is often the target of negative campaigns on various environmental and social issues. The emergence of an Associated Press report on the exploitation of women in the palm oil industry on 18 November 2020 prompted the public relations department of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk to implement issue management in order to maintain the company's image. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implementation of PR issue management at PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk in dealing with women's issues through the Agrovaria Lovepink programme. This study uses a constructivism paradigm with a qualitative approach and a case study research strategy. To collect data, the technique used was in-depth interviews, focusing on the issues management steps that were carried out from the preparation of the plan to the evaluation by the public relations department of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. The results of this study show that PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. PR carries out an issue management process when the issue is in the emerging issue phase and carries out a control programme through the implementation of event strategies, publications, cooperation/collaboration and social responsibility wrapped in a programme called Agrovaria Lovepink."

"Dalam rangka meningkatkan nilai perseroan, pada tahun 2008, PT Ancora Resources (dahulu PT TD Resources) membeli 40% saham PT MNK yang dimiliki oleh PT Ancora Mining Services. Untuk memperkuat struktur permodalan dalam pembiayaan pembelian 40% saham PT MNK tersebut dan untuk menambah modal kerja, maka pada bulan Oktober 2008, perseroan menawarkan right issue kepada para pemegang saham. Akan tetapi ternyata right issue tersebut menyisakan masalah. PT TD Resources Tbk dinilai telah melanggar Peraturan Bapepam No IX.E.1 tentang Benturan Kepentingan Transaksi Tertentu..Hal ini dikarenakan ada tujuh pihak terafiliasi dengan PT Ancora Resources, yang bukan pemegang saham independen, memberikan suaranya dalam RUPS PT TD Resources Tbk yang diadakan pada bulan September 2008. RUPS tersebut diselenggarakan untuk menyetujui right issue dan akuisisi yang dilakukan oleh PT TD Resources Tbk. Akibat adanya pelanggaran ini,penulis ingin mengetahui mekanisme right issue I yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh PT TD Resources Tbk.

In order to increase company's value, in 2008 PT TD Resources (formerly PT TD Resources Tbk.) bought 40% share of PT MNK which was previously owned by PT Ancora Mining Services. To strengthen the capital structure for buying 40% share of PT MNK and to increase working capital, in October 2008 the company offered a rights issue to shareholders. However, the right issue left problem. PT TD Resources Tbk. was founded violated Bapepam Rule No. IX.E.1. about Conflict of Interest on Certain Transactions. This was because there were seven affiliates of PT Ancora Resources, which was not independent shareholders, voted at PT TD Resources Tbk's General Meeting in September 2008. That general meeting was held to approve right issue and acquisition held by PT TD Resources Tbk. Because of this violation, the writer want to conduct research on right issue I mechanism that should be implemented by PT TD Resources Tbk."

"Penelitian ini meneliti strategi public relations dalam menangani isu perusahaan pada PT XYZ. Peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan oleh public relations dalam menangani isu perusahaan. Berlatar belakang penelitian ini keingintahuan peneliti dalam penanganan manajemen isu pada suatu perusahaan production house. Peneliti ingin memperoleh gambaran tentang penanganan isu yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan XYZ ini.Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep-konsep yang digunakan oleh James Grunig dan Todd Hunt tentang the system concept of management dan open dan closed system management yang digabungkan dengan konsep-konsep dari komunikasi organisasi, vertikal dan horizontal structure.Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan sifat penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian ini ingin menyajikan gambaran lengkap mengenai langkah-langkah public relations dalam menangani isu perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan indepth interview dengan dua informan yaitu produser pelaksana production house dan penonton dari sinetron tersebut. Subyek kajian dari sinetron ini adalah sinetron Mutiara hati yang ditayangkan di stasiun TV SCTV pada hari minggu pukul 18.00-19.00 WIB dan sinetron "Aku Hamil" di stasiun TPI setiap hari Rabu pukul 19.00-20.00 WIB. Dan waktu observasi adalah episode tiga dan episode lima. Karena menurut peneliti adegan dalam sinetron ini pada episode tersebut sangat menarik perhatian peneliti.Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa dalam penanganan isu yang begitu rapi dan terstuktur dengan baik yang dilakukan manajemen production house XYZ Pembinaan hubungan yang baik dengan para jurnalis cetak maupun elektronik membuat hubungan yang kuat antara perusahaan dengan jurnalis terjalin dengan baik. Sementara stuktur yang digunakan perusahaan ini adalah horizontal dan system manajemen yang diterapkan dalam perusahaan ini adalah manajemen dengan closed system. Penggunaan manajemen ini mengingat ketatnya persaingan dengan para competitor dalam bidang usaha ini dikhawatirnkan jika menggunakan system terbuka akan mengakibatkan terbongkarnya rahasia strategi perusahaan. Sebagai implikasi teoritis, model yang dikemukanan oleh James Grunig dan Todd Hunt tidak dapat diterapkan dalam perusahaan Walaupun demikian penerapan hubungan yang sangat baik dengan media sudah dilakukan sejak perusahaan ini berdiri.Kelemahan penelitian adalah media elektronik televisi adalah bahwa pesan yang disampaikan oleh program televisi tidak dapat diulang kembali. Sehingga peneliti harus terus menerus mengulang tayangan sinetron tersebut.

This research concern of strategic of public relations in handling issue of company PT XYZ. Researcher want to know how strategic which is handling by public relations in handling issue of company. Background of this research is knowing of researcher in management of public relations in handling issue of company production house. Researcher want to get description about handling issue by company XYZ.

This Research use concept which is by James Grunig and Todd Hunt about the system concept of management and open and closed system management which is combined with concept from communication of organization, vertical and horizontal structure.

This study use qualitative approach with description research. This research wanted full description about steps of public relations handling issue of company. This research use in depth interview with two informan are operational producer and audience from these sinetron. Subject of study from these sinetron are Mutiara Hati and Aku Hamil on station television SCTV in Sunday at 18.00-19.00 WIB and sinetron "Alai Hamil" in Wednesday at 19.00-20.00 WIB_ And life span of observation are the third and fifth episode. Because of researcher thought that the action in these sinetron very interested attraction of researcher.

This result of research is in handling issue very neat and good structured which is did by management of production house XYZ. The best maintenance with printed journalist and electronic journalist make good relationship. Meanwhile the structure used of company is horizontal and management system is applied in company are closed system. Use of management by strictly competition with competitor in this items are worried if use open system would effected open up the secret of company strategic.

Theory implication, model of James Grunig and Todd Hunt could not applied in this company. Otherwise applied of the best relations with media had done since this company exist.

The weakness of this research is electronic media of television is message would delivered by program of television can not reverse again. Until researcher must sustainable review these sinetron."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh right issue terhadap respon pasar yang terjadi pada emiten (perusahaan yang telah go public) pada tahun 1997-2002. Faktor-faktor yang diperkirakan mempengaruhi respon pasar adalah perbandingan saham, ukuran perusahaan_ ukuran likuiditas saham, fraksi harga, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), umur perusahaan. dan persentase saham publik.Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian, peneliti mengelompokkan sampel ke dalam dua kelompok yaitu untuk emiten jasa keuangan dan emiten di luar jasa keuangan yang melakukan right issue tahun 1997-2002. Total sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 126 emiten yang terdiri dari 54 emiten jasa keuangan dan 72 emiten di luar jasa keuangan.Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji t-test, multiple regresion, dan F.test. Regresi dilakukan dengan menetapkan Cumulative Average Abnormal Return (CAAR) pada periode long event window (pengamatan jangka panjang) yaitu pada pengamatan t = -40 sampai dengan t = +5, di mans t = 0 merupakan tanggal efektif sebagai variabel terikat dengan beberapa variabel bebas. Untuk variabel bebas terdiri dari perbandingan saham, ukuran perusahaan, ukuran likuiditas saham, fraksi harga, DER, umur perusahaan, dan persentase saham publik.Berdasarkan penelitian ini, pengumuman right issue yang dilakukan oleh emiten di Bursa Efek Jakarta tahun 1997-2002 berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan untuk periode long event window (pengamatan jangka panjang) dan short event window (pengamatan jangka pendek). Untuk pengamatan jangka panjang pada t = -40 sampai dengan t = +5, sedangkan pengamatan jangka pendek pada t = -3 sampai dengan t = +3.

This research has been performed to analyze the impact of right issue to the market response during the period 1997-2002. Some factors predicted to be influence to market response are stock comparison, the size of the company, stock liquidity, price fraction, debt to equity ratio, age of the company, and the percentage of public share holder.

This research takes samples of 124 public companies listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) with have clone right issue during 1997-2002. The samples separate into the two groups are total company and non-financial services public company. Hypothetical test to the samples have been performed with the t-test analysis, multiple regression, as well as F-test. Regression analysis performed with period t = -40 until t = +5 with t = 0 is effective date is stated CAAR (Cumulative Average Abnormal Return) as dependent. Variable and several variables are independent variable. The independent variables are stock comparison, the size of the company, stock liquidity, price fraction, debt to equity ratio, age of the company, and the percentage of public share holder.

According to the final research, right issues tend to give negative reaction to the market in the short event window period as well as in the long event window. Short event window period with period t = -40 until t = +5. Long event window period with period t=-3 until t=+3."

"This research examines the behavior of stock returns and trading volumes around the ex-dates of rights issue offerings by firms listed in Jakarta Stock Exchange (now is known as Indonesia Stock Exchange, after the merger with Surabaya Stock Exchange) in the period of 2002-2007. This research describes the effect of warrants issue which is combined with some rights issue. The methods of research used are event study, to examine the behavior of abnormal returns and trading volumes around the ex-dates of rights issue; and regression, to help discriminate among various hypotheses and identify factors that explain the abnormal stock returns associated with rights issue. The results are categorized in three sample groups: (1) a group of firms issuing rights with warrant, (2) a group of firms issuing rights without warrants, and (3) a group of firms issuing rights in between 2001-2006. Abnormal returns in this research are associated negatively with the amount of capital raise relative to existing capital, and positively with the stock returns variance and the offer price as a fraction of firm’s stock price"
