"ABSTRAKPenulisan karya akhir ini merupakan business coaching terhadap PT Isra, UKM manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang otomotif dan merupakan binaan Yayasan Darma Bakti Astra YDBA . PT Isra menghasilkan produk berupa cetakan dan komponen suku cadang kendaraan bermotor. Saat ini, PT Isra merupakan UKM Pra Mandiri YDBA dan target PT Isra adalah menjadi UKM Mandiri serta memperluas bisnis dengan produk stamping mass production. Dari analisis gap diketahui masalah PT Isra terkait SDM adalah kurangnya kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh karyawan sehingga dapat menghambat proses produksi. Rekomendasi yang diberikan adalah pengembangan SDM yang terarah melalui perancangan Individual Development Plan IDP . Melalui menerapkan IDP, perusahaan dapat mengetahui gap kompetensi karyawan, minat karier karyawan dan merencanakan pengembangan yang dibutuhkan oleh karyawan untuk menyiapkan SDM unggul yang dapat mendukung target dan bisnis perusahaan ke depan.

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this thesis is to formulate the implementation research of business coaching upon PT Isra Presisi Indonesia, a manufacturing SME that runs in the automotive industry and is member of Yayasan Darma Bakti Astra YDBA . PT Isra manufactures dies, mold and precision parts for vehicular spare parts. Presently, PT Isra is classified as Pre Independent SME and is striving to be classified as Independent SME through business expansion by developing mass production stamping products. It is discovered by means of gap analysis that PT Isra is lacking in its human resource competency, prevents it from attaining smooth and flawless production process. The recommended strategy to resolve the issue is directed human resource growth through Individual Development Plan IDP . Through IDP implementation, the company can ascertain employees rsquo potential competence gap, carrier growth interest, and prepare development plan that is required to produce superior human resource in order to achieve future business plan and targets."

"ABSTRAKTujuan dari penulisan karya akhir ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas dari penerapan IDP dalam mendukung proses pengembangan karyawan di Divisi Produksi PT Isra Presisi Indonesia, serta menyusun program pengembangan karyawan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan kompetensi karyawan yang telah dipetakan dalam IDP. Metode business coaching, melalui wawancara terstruktur, observasi, dan perancangan IDP, dilakukan di PT Isra untuk membantu mengurangi gap yang dimiliki perusahaan dalam proses pengembangan karyawannya. Hasil dari wawancara digunakan untuk mengetahui gap antara kondisi ideal dan aktual yang dimiliki perusahaan, juga untuk memperbaiki rancangan IDP agar lebih sesuai dengan kondisi perusahaan. Ditemukan bahwa IDP dapat secara efektif membantu perusahaan dalam mengembangkan kompetensi karyawan di Divisi Produksi melalui pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil penerapan IDP, kemudian disusun rekomendasi program pelatihan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan karyawan. Batasan dari karya akhir ini adalah IDP hanya diterapkan pada Divisi Produksi saja, yang didorong oleh fakta bahwa mayoritas karyawan perusahaan bekerja di Divisi Produksi hampir 50 .

The purpose of this thesis is to know the effectiveness of the IDP on supporting employee development processes for the company rsquo s department of production employees, and to build a suitable training program based on the competencies needed by the employees that can be found from the IDP rsquo s results. Business coaching methods, through structured interviews, observation, and the IDP application, was conducted in PT Isra in Cikarang, to help solve the company rsquo s deficiency gap in the employee development processes. The results from the structured interviews were analyzed to know the gap between the ideal and real condition of the company. The results were also used to improve the IDP form to suit the company better. The findings show that the application of IDP in PT Isra is effective to help the company to develop the Production Department employees rsquo competency and performance in the field through training. The results of IDP implementation are then used to build the recommendation for employees rsquo training. Limitation of this paper is that the IDP was only applied for PT Isra rsquo s Department of Production employees only. This is due to the fact that majority of the employees in the company almost 50 are working in that particular department."

"Peran dan kehadiran pengasuh sangat dibutuhkan anak-anak imigran karena kelekatannya dapat membantu mereka untuk beradaptasi dengan kondisi kehidupan dan lingkungan yang baru. Kelekatan anak dengan lingkungan fisik tempat tinggal mereka juga dapat mempengaruhi proses adaptasi mereka. Dua novel bertema migrasi, Journey of the Sparrows (1991) dan Esperanza Rising (2000), mendukung teori kelekatan (attachment theory) yang dikemukakan oleh Bowlby (1969, 1973, 1980) dan dapat digunakan sebagai contoh bagaimana teori ini dapat diaplikasikan oleh imigran yang tinggal di lingkungan baru. Studi berbasis literatur ini menggunakan perspektif attachment theory untuk menganalisis bagaimana dua bentuk kelekatan, antar manusia dan tempat, mendukung perkembangan individu kedua karakter utama serta mengatasi situasi yang sulit dan mengancam. Studi ini juga membahas bagaimana kesedihan dan kehilangan dapat meningkatkan kebutuhan akan bentuk-bentuk kelekatan dan berperan sebagai pendorong pada perkembangan individu. Studi ini menemukan bahwa keterikatan pada figur dewasa dan tempat dapat mendorong adaptasi dan perkembangan seseorang di lingkungan baru. Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh karakter utama di dalam novel tersebut dapat memberikan wawasan dalam masalah sosial dan emosional yang dihadapi oleh anak-anak imigran diseluruh dunia dan bagaimana kita, sebagai masyarakat, harus mengatasi masalah tersebut.

Among migrant children moving to a new country, the role of the caregiver is important because attachment to parental or familiar figures can help children to adapt to the new living conditions in another country. The attachment of the children to their home and hometown can also be powerful drivers of adaptation among migrant children in a new environment. Journey of the Sparrows (1991) and Esperanza Rising (2000) are two novels about young adults emigrating from their home country to the United States to look for a better life outside their troubled homeland. These two stories are in accordance with Bowlby’s theory of attachment (1969, 1973, 1980) and can be used as examples of how the theory might work for real-life migrants in a new environment. This literary-based study adopts psychological perspectives to analyze how the two forms of attachment, attachment to people and place, supported the main characters’ individual development in the new country, i.e., how they were able to overcome and recover from difficult and threatening situations in pursuit of better lives for them and their family. In addition, this paper also explores how grief and loss can foster the need for those forms of attachment and act as boosters for individual development. The study finds that attachment to parental or adult figures and places can encourage individual’s adaptation and development in the new environment. The challenges faced by the main characters in the novels may provide valuable insights to the social and emotional problems faced by migrant children worldwide and how we, as global citizens, should approach the problems."
