Characteristic of Working Time Allocation of in Patient Room of Graha Medika General Hospital Nurses According to Their Activities and Nursing ProcessHospital is a health organization delivering service as its product. Nursing as a part of hospital manpower working for 24 hour need specific attention for either their quality or their quantity. Nursing with a professional ability can do prevention care previously done by doctor with lower cost. The aim of this study is to know how nurses allocate their time in Graha Medika Hospital according their activities and nursing process. This cross Study sectional is done to analyze nurse?s activities, with the mean of Work Sampling Method. This study showed nurses spent their time with one patient for 79,3 minutes in the morning, 54 minutes in the afternoon and 41 minutes in the evening. Indirect Care showed 37,4 minutes in the morning, 40,3 minutes in the afternoon and 40,3 minutes in the night for one patient. The activity of nurses according to nursing process showed most of their time or about 80% is devoted to Implementation Activities. Assessment on Evaluation Activities showed only 8% of their time is this study also showed that they have no Nursing Care Plan for their patient.

Instrumen penilaian kinerja perawat merupakan suatu perangkat manajerial untuk mengetahui tingkat pencapaian kinerja perawat dalam melayani pasien. Kebutuhan terhadap instrumen penilaian kinerja perawat sangat panting, mengingat besarnya jumlah dan peran mereka dalam pelayanan rumah sakit. Instrumen penilaian kinerja perawat dirumah sakit Qadr belum spesifik untuk menilai kinerja perawat berdasarkan uraian tugasnya, sehingga perlu dlakukan pengembangan instrumen penilaian kinerja perawat ruang rawat inap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rancangan instrumen penilaian kinerja perawat ruang rawat inap yang memiliki kriteria : berhubungan dengan pekerjaan, praktis, memilki ukuran kinerja, memiliki standar kinerja yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan perawat. Dilakukan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian operasionai, data diperoleh melalui kegiatan wawancara mendalam, studi dokumen dan pengamatan. Kerangka pikir dikembangkan dari kerangka teori Handoko(1999) yang telah dimodifikasi. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan instrumen penilaian kinerja perawat ruang rawat inap yang terdiri dari 16 komponen pekerjaan, 45 ukuran kinerja beserta standar kinerja untuk setiap ukuran. Hubungan instrumen penilaian dengan pekerjaan diperoleh dengan memasukkan komponen pekerjaan yang ada diuraian tugas menjadi materi penilaian. Keparaktisan instrumen terlihat dari kejelasan komponen penilaian dan kejelasan penentuan skor, mudah dimengerti dan dilaksanakan serta hasil penilaian dapat dirasakan manfaatnya oleh perawat, peningkatan kinerja, dan dapat membantu tercapainya tujuan profesi perawat dan rumah sakit. Ukuran kinerja yang jelas dan standar kinerja yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas menghasilkan 12 jenis indikator yang tidak memenuhi syarat valid dan telah dilakukan usulan koreksi. Dengan adanya instrumen penilaian kinerja ini diharapkan dapat membantu manajemen dalam melakukan penilaian kinerja perawat ruang rawat inap dirumah sakit Qadr setelah mengalami penyesuaian. Nursing performance appraisal instrument is one of the management tools to assess nurse performance achievement in providing patient care. This instrument is very important because of the great number of nurses and their roles in hospital. The existing nursing performance appraisal instrument at Qadr hospital was not specifically to measure nursing performance, so that there is a need to develop better nursing performance appraisal instrument. The objective of this study to develop nursing performance instrument design for in- patient room Qadr Hospital that have four criteria: job-related, practicality, performance measured and performance standard. The qualitative method used with operations research approach. Data were collected through in-depth interview, documentation, observation and questionnaires. The conceptual framework is modified based on Handoko theory (1999). Result of this study is nursing performance instrument design for in patient room; consist of 16 job components and 45 performance indicators. Relation between measurement instrument and job are obtained through organizing assessment component from job description of bedside nurse, mission, and hospital regulation. Instrument is practical if understandable and straightforward, clear assessment criteria, useful in achieving professional and hospital objectives, having appropriate performance measured with job, and performance standard which have job achievement criteria. Based on validity and reliability test of instrument, there are 12 items performance not valid and had been corrected. This nursing performance appraisal instrument is recommended to use in assessing nurse for in-patient room after several adjustment. References: 26 (1989-2001)

ABSTRAK
Kualitas udara di ruang rawat inap perlu diperhatikan karena kerentanan pasien akan penyakit dan menghindari terjadinya kontaminasi silang. Salah satu indikator pencemar udara dalam ruang adalah jamur. Pengambilan sampel jamur di udara dengan menggunakan alat EMS E6 serta media kultur MEA. Sampel kemudian diinkubasi pada suhu 27oC selama ±72 jam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan konsentrasi jamur antara jam berkunjung dengan bukan jam berkunjung dan konsentrasi jamur pada ruangan dengan kapasitas bed yang berbeda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ruangan dengan kapasitas 5-6 bed per kamar lebih terkontaminasi oleh jamur dibandingkan dengan kapasitas 1-4 bed per kamar (p=0,000 Kolmogorov-Smirnov) dengan tingkat signifikansi (α) 0,05. Selain itu, tidak ada pengaruh antara jam berkunjung dan bukan jam berkunjung terhadap konsentrasi jamur di udara (p=0,400 Mann-Whitney U). Suhu, kelembaban dan jumlah orang di dalam ruangan memiliki hubungan dengan konsentrasi jamur dengan nilai koefisien korelasi Spearman sebesar 0,179; 0,346; 0,287. Kelembaban ruangan memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar terhadap konsentrasi jamur, diikuti jumlah orang dan suhu. Sehingga untuk menjaga paparan jamur di udara pada ruang rawat inap adalah disarankan dengan menjaga kelembaban pada 45-60% dan memperhatikan kepadatan orang di dalam ruangan.

Air quality in the patient room need to be considered as susceptibility to disease and avoid cross-contamination. One indicator of indoor air pollutants is fungi. Using a EMS E6 and MEA as a media culture fungi, air samples were taken from Gedung A RSCM then incubated for three days. In this study, the concentrations of fungi were analyzed based on time of visit and also based on the number of beds in the room. The results showed that the room with the capacity of 5-6 beds per room is more contaminated by fungi compared to the capacity of 1-4 beds per room (p=0.000 Kolmogorov-Smirnov) with level of significant (α) 0,05. There is no diference between time of visit with not the time to visit with the concentration of fungi in the air (p=0.400 Mann-Whitney U). Temperature, humidity and number of people in the room have a relationship with the concentration of fungi with the Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.179; 0.346; and 0.287. Humidity of the room has a higher influence to the concentration of fungi, followed by the number of people and temperature.
