"Penelitian ini berjudul “Pesan Ideologi dalam Novel Hikayat Kadiroen Karya Semaoen”. Pembahasan dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana pengarang menyampaikan ideologinya lewat karya yang diciptakannya, yaitu Hikayat Kadiroen. Sejalan dengan itu, rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Hikayat Kadiroen dimanfaatkan pengarang untuk menyampaikan pesan ideologi yang dianutnya. Untuk menjawab permasalahan itu, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan struktural, terutama yang terkait dengan penokohan, dan sosiologi sastra yang menekankan hubungan antara karya sastra dan pengarang. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskripsi analisis yang menggabungkan pembacaan secara cermat dan kritis untuk mengungkapkan ideologi yang ditampilkan dalam novel Hikayat Kadiroen. Dari kajian terhadap novel tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa ideologi komunisme yang dianut Semaoen disampaikan melalui tokoh Kadiroen. Ideologi itu disampaikan sebagai pesan perlawanan untuk memerangi segala bentuk penindasan pemerintah kolonial yang mengakibatkan kesengsaraan masyarakat.

This research is entitled "Message of Ideology in the Novel Hikayat Kadiroen by Semaoen". The discussion in this study focuses on how the author conveys his ideology through the work he creates, namely Hikayat Kadiroen. In line with that, the formulation of the problem in this reseach is how the author uses Hikayat Kadiroen to convey his ideological message. To answer this problem, this research uses a structural approach, especially those related to characterizations, and a sociology of literature that emphasizes the relationship between literary works and authors. The method used is a descriptive analysis method that combines careful and critical reading to reveal the ideology presented in the novel Hikayat Kadiroen. From the study of the novel, it can be concluded that Semaoen's ideology of communism was conveyed through the character of Kadiroen. The ideology was conveyed as a message of resistance to combat all forms of oppression by the colonial government that resulted in people's misery."

"Topik penelitian ini adalah ideologi komunisme dalam film ceburaska karya Eduard Uspenskij. Tulisan ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi ideologi komunisme dalam film ceburaska. Teori yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah teori semiotik Roland Barthes. Untuk melihat ideologi yang terkandung dalam film ceburaska penulis menggunakan dua tahapan teori semiotik Roland Barthes berupa denotasi dan konotasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode descriptive dan criticsm. Dalam Analisis ideologi komunisme dalam film ceburaska penulis juga menggunakan konsep-konsep sebagai berikut: konsep tokoh dan penokohan, ideologi, dan film sebagai ideologi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah film ceburaska mengandung unsur-unsur ideologi komunisme yang dapat dilihat dari tanda-tanda yang ada dalam setiap adegan. Latar belakang Eduard Uspenskij juga mempengaruhi keberadaan ideologi komunisme dalam film ceburaska.

The topic of this research is communist ideology in the film ceburaska by Eduard Uspenskij. This paper aims to identify the ideology of communism in ceburaska. The theory used in this analysis is Roland Barthess semiotics theory. In order to see the ideology contained in ceburaska, the writer use two stages of Roland Barthes's semiotic theory of denotation and connotation. The method used in this research is descriptive and criticsm method. In the analysis of communist ideology in ceburaska, the writer also use the following concepts: the concept of character and characterization, ideology, and film as an ideology. The outcome from this research is ceburaska film containing elements of communist ideology that can be seen from the signs that exist in every scene. The background of Eduard Uspenskij also the influence the existence of communist ideology in ceburaska."
