"Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu ditemukan bahwa mentorship quality memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan terhadap subjective well-being individu. Akan tetapi, penelitian mengenai mentorship quality dan flourishing dalam konteks mahasiswa magang masih terbatas. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat hubungan mentorship quality dan flourishing pada mahasiswa magang menggunakan analisis korelasi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah The PERMA-profiler untuk flourishing dan Mentoring Functions Questionnaire (MFQ) untuk mentorship quality. Penelitian ini melibatkan partisipan yang berjumlah 195 mahasiswa magang dengan rentan usia 19 - 24 tahun (M= 21,5, SD = 0,741) yang berasal dari berbagai macam kota/kabupaten di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa hipotesis diterima, yang mana mentorship quality berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan flourishing pada mahasiswa magang. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat memberikan manfaat untuk penyusunan langkah konkrit untuk meningkatkan flourishing pada mahasiswa magang.

Based on previous research, it was found that the mentorship quality has a positive and significant relationship with the subjective well-being of individuals. However, research on the mentorship quality and flourishing in the context of student interns is still limited. This study aims to see the relationship between the mentorship quality and the flourishing in student interns using correlation analysis. The research instruments used in this study were PERMA-profiler for thrives and Mentoring Functions Questionnaire (MFQ) for the quality of mentorship. This study involved 195 student interns aged 19-24 years (M = 21.5, SD = 0.741) from various cities/regencies in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the hypothesis is accepted, where mentorship quality is positively and significantly related to the flourishing of student interns. The results of this study can provide benefits for the preparation of concrete steps to improve the flourishing of student interns."

"Subjective well-being merupakan salah satu topik psikologi positif yang penting untuk dikaji dalam tahapan usia emerging adult. Berbagai tantangan dan permasalahan yang dilalui dapat menjadi faktor risiko bagi well-being mereka. Di antara berbagai aspek yang dapat berhubungan dengan subjective well-being, solitude diasumsikan berperan sebagai faktor protektif bagi well-being. Solitude merupakan kondisi objektif dari kesendirian yang umumnya digunakan secara konstruktif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini hendak melihat hubungan solitude dan subjective well-being pada emerging adulthood. Terdapat 317 partisipan berusia 18-25 tahun (M = 21.51, SD = 1.78) yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menggunakan alat ukur Perth A-Loneness Scale (PALs) (Houghton dkk., 2014) dan The PERMA-Profiler adaptasi Indonesia (Elfida dkk., 2021) menunjukkan bahwa solitude berhubungan positif signifikan dengan subjective well-being. Temuan ini dapat diartikan bahwa semakin tinggi kecenderungan dewasa muda menerapkan solitude maka semakin tinggi tingkat subjective well-being.

One of the important areas of positive psychology to research in emerging adult period is subjective well-being. The various challenges and problems they go through can be a risk factor for their well-being. Among the various aspects that can be related to subjective well-being, solitude is assumed to act as a protective factor for well-being. Solitude is an objective condition of solitude that is generally used constructively. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relationship between solitude and subjective well-being in emerging adulthood. There were 317 participants between the ages of 18-25 (M = 21.51, SD = 1.78) who participated in this study. The results of the study using the Perth A-Loneness Scale (Houghton et al., 2014) and The PERMA-Profiler (Elfida et al., 2021) measurement tools showed that solitude was significantly positively related to subjective well-being. This finding can be interpreted that the higher the tendency of young adults to practice solitude, the higher the level of subjective well-being."

"Kebijakan pembatasan dalam melakukan interaksi sosial, menyebabkan penggunaan media sosial meningkat selama pandemi COVID-19. Mahasiswa merupakan pengguna media sosial terbanyak di Indonesia, dimana media sosial Instagram dan TikTok populer di kalangan mahasiswa. Adanya beragam fitur yang ada pada Instagram dan TikTok dapat menyebabkan mahasiswa melakukan social comparison, dimana hal tersebut dapat menimbulkan emosi negatif yang mengarah pada penurunan subjective well-being mahasiswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara social comparison dan subjective well-being pada mahasiswa pengguna Instagram dan TikTok. Terdapat dua alat ukur yang digunakan, yaitu The Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Scale untuk mengukur social comparison dan The Perma-Profiler untuk mengukur subjective well-being. Partisipan di dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 191 mahasiswa pengguna media sosial Instagram dan TikTok, yang terdiri dari laki-laki dan perempuan, dengan rentang usia 19-25 tahun (M = 21,37, SD = 1,028) dari berbagai wilayah di Indonesia. Berdasarkan uji korelasi yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis Pearson Correlation, ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif dan signifikan antara social comparison dan subjective well-being pada mahasiswa pengguna Instagram dan TikTok (r (191) = -0,130, p < 0,05). Oleh karena itu, semakin tinggi social comparison yang dilakukan mahasiswa, semakin rendah pula subjective well-being mahasiswa, demikian pula dengan sebaliknya.

The policy of limiting social interactions caused the use of social media increases during the COVID-19 pandemic. College students are amongst the most active users on social media, also Instagram and TikTok are popular among them. The various features on Instagram and Tiktok can cause college students to do social comparison, which can elevate negative emotions that lead to decreased student’s subjective well-being. Thus, this study aims to find out whether social comparison has an effect on college student’s subjective well-being. There are two measurement instruments used, The Iowa-Netherlands Comparison Orientation Scale to measure social comparison and The Perma-Profiler to measure subjective well-being. Participants in this study were 191 college students using Instagram and TikTok, consisting of male and female, with an age range of 19-25 years (M = 21,37, SD = 1,028) from various areas in Indonesia. According to the correlation test that conducted using Pearson Correlation, there is a negative and significant correlation between social comparison and subjective well-being of college students using Instagram and TikTok (r (191) = -0,130, p < 0,05). Thus, the higher level of social comparison that students did, the lower the subjective well-being of college students using Instagram and TikTok as well, and vice versa."

"Untuk membantu proses pembelajaran, memperoleh informasi, dan berkomunikasi, mahasiswa membutuhkan sarana yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut, salah satunya adalah media sosial. Namun, penggunaan media sosial memiliki dampak negatif, salah satunya yaitu munculnya ujaran kebencian. Ujaran kebencian dapat berdampak negatif bagi kondisi psikologis mahasiswa dan menurunkan kesejahteraan subjektif. Maka, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara ujaran kebencian di media sosial dengan kesejahteraan subjektif dari dua sudut pandang, yaitu sudut pandang pelaku ujaran kebencian dan sudut pandang yang mengungkap ujaran kebencian. Sebanyak 200 mahasiswa (M=21.39, SD=1.021) berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian korelasional untuk melihat hubungan kedua variabel. Alat ukur The PERMA-Profiler untuk mengukur kesejahteraan subjektif dan alat ukur kecenderungan melakukan ujaran kebencian untuk mengukur perilaku ujaran kebencian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan uji korelasi yang dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis Pearson Correlation, ditemukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara ujaran kebencian dengan kesejahteraan subjektif dari sudut pandang pelaku (r = -0.078, p > 0.05) dan tidak ada hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kebencian berbicara dengan kesejahteraan subjektif dari sudut pandang yang terpapar (r = 0.073, p > 0.05). Artinya, ditemukan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara ujaran kebencian dengan kesejahteraan subjektif pada mahasiswa.

To help the learning process, obtain information, and communicate, students need tools that can meet these needs, one of which is social media. However, the use of social media has a negative impact, one of which is the emergence of hate speech. Hate speech can negatively affect a student's psychological condition and degrade subjective well-being. Thus, this study aims to see the relationship between hate speech on social media and subjective welfare from two points of view, namely the point of view of the perpetrator of hate speech and the point of view that reveals hate speech. A total of 200 students (M= 21.39, SD= 1,021) participated in this study. This study used a correlational research method to see the relationship between the two variables. The PERMA-Profiler measuring instrument for measuring subjective well-being and the tendency to measure hate speech to measure hate speech behavior were used in this study. Based on the correlation test conducted using the Pearson Correlation analysis technique, it was found that there was no positive and significant relationship between hate speech and subjective well-being from the perpetrator's point of view (r = -0.078, p > 0.05) and there was no positive and significant relationship between hate speech and subjective well-being from the exposed point of view (r = 0.073, p > 0.05). Which means, it was found that there is no relationship between hate speech and subjective well-being in students."

"Data perceraian orang tua nampaknya mengalami kenaikan dari tahun ketahun. Penelitian terdahulu telah menemukan bagaimana perceraian orang tua dapat memberikan berbagai dampak negatif pada emerging adults. Penelitian ini menyoroti peran self-acceptance terhadap tingkat flourishing pada emerging adults yang orang tuanya bercerai serta bagaimana self-acceptance berhubungan dengan setiap dimensi dari flourishing. Penelitian ini menduga self-acceptance pada emerging adults yang orang tuanya bercerai dapat membantu untuk berperan sebagai faktor protektif yang mempromosikan pemaknaan positif terhadap peristiwa perceraian orang tua mereka, yang pada akhirnya membantu tingkat flourishing mereka untuk berkembang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adaptasi bahasa Indonesia Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ) dan adaptasi bahasa Indonesia The PERMA-Profiler. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi dan analisis regresi linear dua variabel. Penelitian ini melibatkan 323 partisipan emerging adults dengan rentang usia 18 – 25 tahun (M = 21.1, SD = 2.24). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat self-acceptance mampu memprediksi tingkat flourishing pada emerging adults yang orang tuanya bercerai sebesar 23% (R² = 0.232, F(1, 321) = 96.9, p < .001, b = .936). Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa self-acceptance memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan dengan setiap dimensi dari flourishing.

Parental divorce rates appear to be increasing year by year. Previous research has found that parental divorce can have various negative impacts on emerging adults. This study highlights the role of self-acceptance on flourishing among emerging adults with divorced parents and examines the relationship between self-acceptance and each dimension of flourishing. The study hypothesizes that self-acceptance in young adults can help to serve as a protective factor, promoting positive meaning making regarding their parents' divorce, thereby contribute to enhancing their flourishing. The instruments used in this study include the Indonesian adaptation of the Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire (USAQ) and the Indonesian adaptation of The PERMA-Profiler. Analysis is done using correlation analysis and linear regression of two variables. This study involved 323 emerging adults participants aged 18 – 25 years (M = 21.1, SD = 2.24). The results show that self-acceptance accounts for 23% (R² = 0.232, F(1, 321) = 96.9, p < .001, b = .936) of the variance in flourishing among emerging adults whose parents have divorced. The study also found that self-acceptance has a positive and significant relationship with each dimension of flourishing."

"Flourishing merupakan kondisi well-being yang penting bagi pasangan dual income karena mereka menghadapi berbagai tantangan, termasuk dalam menjaga keharmonisan pernikahan, yang merupakan aspek penting dari kepuasan pernikahan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kontribusi kepuasan pernikahan terhadap flourishing pada pasangan dual income. Partisipan penelitian ini berjumlah 183 orang berusia antara 40–65 tahun, berstatus menikah, bekerja, dan memiliki pasangan yang juga bekerja. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur flourishing adalah The PERMA-Profiler, sedangkan untuk mengukur kepuasan pernikahan menggunakan Couple Satisfaction Index-16 Item. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi kepuasan pernikahan terhadap flourishing pada pasangan dual income, termasuk pada semua dimensinya. Temuan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi para pasangan dual income yang ingin meningkatkan flourishing dengan menjaga kualitas hubungan pernikahan mereka.

Flourishing is an essential state of well-being for dual-income couples because they face various challenges, including maintaining marital harmony, which is a crucial aspect of their marital satisfaction. This study aims to examine the contribution of marital satisfaction to flourishing among dual income couples. The participants consisted of 183 individuals aged 40–65 years who were married, employed, and had a partner who also worked. Flourishing was measured using The PERMA-Profiler, while marital satisfaction was assessed using the Couple Satisfaction Index-16 Item. The analysis revealed that marital satisfaction contributed to flourishing in dual income couples, included in every dimension. These findings can be valuable for dual income couples seeking to improve the quality of their marital relationship and overall flourishing. "

"Penelitian ini mengkaji hubungan antara self-compassion dan flourishing pada mahasiswa tahun pertama di Jabodetabek dengan 168 partisipan. Hasil menunjukkan hubungan positif signifikan antara self-compassion dan flourishing (r = .214, p < .01), namun tidak ada perbedaan signifikan dalam self-compassion (U = 3215.000, Z = -0,002, p = 0,999) dan flourishing (U = 2808.500, Z = -1,358, p = 0,175) antara laki-laki dan perempuan. Self-compassion diukur menggunakan Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) yang terdiri dari 26 item dengan skala tipe Likert 5 poin, sementara flourishing diukur menggunakan Flourishing Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Mulyono (2022) yang terdiri dari 14 item. Validitas dan reliabilitas kedua instrumen ini telah diuji dan menunjukkan hasil yang tinggi. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya self-compassion dan flourishing dalam kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa tanpa perbedaan gender yang signifikan.

This study examined the relationship between self-compassion and flourishing in first-year university students in Jabodetabek with 168 participants. Results showed a significant positive relationship between self-compassion and flourishing (r = .214, p < .01), however there were no significant differences in self-compassion (U = 3215.000, Z = -0.002, p = 0.999) and flourishing (U = 2808.500, Z = -1.358, p = 0.175) between males and females. Self-compassion was measured using the Self-Compassion Scale (SCS) consisting of 26 items with a 5-point Likert-type scale, while flourishing was measured using the Flourishing Scale developed by Mulyono (2022) consisting of 14 items. The validity and reliability of these two instruments have been tested and showed high results. The findings confirm the importance of self-compassion and flourishing in college students' well-being without significant gender differences."

"Beberapa tahun terakhir, kesejahteraan Generasi Z menjadi fokus di tengah dinamika dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh adaptabilitas karier terhadap kesejahteraan optimal pada Generasi Z di Indonesia. Sebanyak 163 partisipan berusia 18–30 tahun, berkewarganegaraan Indonesia, dilibatkan melalui kuesioner daring. Adaptabilitas karier diukur dengan Career Adapt-Abilities Scale-Short Form (CAAS-SF), sedangkan kesejahteraan optimal diukur dengan The PERMA-Profiler. Hasil menunjukkan adaptabilitas karier dan dimensinya secara bersama-sama memengaruhi kesejahteraan optimal. Dimensi curiosity dan concern berperan secara signifikan, tetapi dimensi control dan confidence tidak berperan secara signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan optimal pekerja Generasi Z. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan adaptabilitas karier berkontribusi terhadap kesejahteraan optimal pekerja Generasi Z. Temuan dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memaksimalkan kesejahteraan optimal pada Generasi Z di Indonesia.

In recent years, the well-being of Generation Z has gained attention amid workplace dynamics. This study investigates the influence of career adaptability on flourishing among Generation Z in Indonesia. A total of 163 Indonesian participants aged 18–30 years were involved through an online questionnaire. Career adaptability was measured using the Career Adapt-Abilities Scale-Short Form (CAAS-SF), while flourishing was assessed with The PERMA-Profiler. Results indicate that career adaptability and its dimensions collectively predict flourishing. The dimensions of curiosity and concern significantly contribute, whereas control and confidence do not significantly predict flourishing of Generation Z workers. The findings suggest that career adaptability enhances flourishing among Generation Z workers. These results can be utilized to optimize flourishing for Generation Z in Indonesia."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran komitmen organisasi terhadap kesejahteraan optimal (flourishing) pada karyawan Generasi Z di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif non-eksperimental, data dikumpulkan dari 279 karyawan Generasi Z dengan rentang usia 20-30 tahun melalui kuesioner daring. Komitmen organisasi diukur menggunakan Organizational Commitment Scale dan kesejahteraan optimal diukur dengan The PERMA-Profiler. Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa ketiga komponen komitmen organisasi ditemukan berperan secara simultan dalam memprediksi kesejahteraan optimal. Jika dilihat peran dari setiap dimensi, ditemukan bahwa komponen komitmen afektif merupakan prediktor terkuat berperan secara positif dan signifikan, komitmen berkelanjutan berperan secara negatif dan signifikan, sedangkan komitmen normatif berperan positif signifikan lemah. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya komitmen afektif terhadap organisasi dalam memprediksi kesejahteraan optimal. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengelolaan SDM yang responsif terhadap kebutuhan psikologis Generasi Z yang mulai mendominasi angkatan kerja di Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational commitment on flourishing among Generation Z employees in Indonesia. Using a non-experimental quantitative approach, data were collected from 279 Generation Z employees aged 20 to 30 through an online questionnaire. Organizational commitment was measured using the Organizational Commitment Scale, and flourishing being measured using the PERMA-Profiler. The results of the study using multiple regression analysis, indicate that the three components of organizational commitment were found to have a simultaneous effect on predicting flourishing. In examining the role of each dimension, affective commitment component is the strongest predictor with a significant positive role, continuance commitment has a significant negative role, while normative commitment has a weak but significant positive role. These findings emphasize the importance of emotional attachment to the organization in predicting flourishing. The results have important implications for human resource management practices that are responsive to the psychological needs of Generation Z, who are starting to dominate the Indonesian workforce. "
