"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh diversitas gender pada dewan direksi dan dewan komisaris terhadap pengungkapan sukarela dalam laporan tahunan perusahaan manufaktur. Diversitas gender yang diukur menggunakan presentase keberadaan wanita dalam dewan direksi dan dewan komisaris diharapkan dapat meningkatkan luas pengungkapan sukarela yang dapat membantu para pengguna laporan tahunan. Untuk menguji pengaruh tersebut digunakan model pengujian ekonometri Ordinary Least Square (OLS) dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 114 perusahaan manufaktur tahun 2012. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa diversitas gender pada dewan komisaris dan dewan direksi serta profitabilitas ditemukan tidak berpengaruh terhadap luas pengungkapan sukarela. Variabel ukuran perusahaan, likuiditas, struktur modal dan ukuran dewan secara bersama-sama memengaruhi luas pengungkapan sukarela.

This study examines the influence of gender diversity on board of directors and board of commissioners on voluntary disclosure in annual reports manufacturing companies. Gender diversity which is measured using the percentage of the female representation on the board of directors and commissioners is expected to increase the extent of voluntary disclosure which can help users of annual reports. To examine the influence, this study uses Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method with 114 samples of manufacturing companies in 2012. This research concludes that the female representation in the board of commissioners and board of directors, profitability do not affect the extent of voluntary disclosure. Meanwhile, the size of company, liquidity, leverage and size of the board jointly affect the extent of voluntary disclosure."

"Dirayakan Hari Perempuan Internasional berpengaruh terhadap kemajuan hak-hak perempuan untuk mencapai kesetaraan gender, salah satunya adalah stereotip. Stereotip tersebut memberikan dampak negatif bagi perempuan, seperti terbatasnya pandangan dan citra terhadap perempuan. Artikel ini membahas isu perempuan dalam video kampanye Netflix Du bist Du (2019). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan kekuatan dan diversitas perempuan bahwa seharusnya perempuan tidak dibatasi dan dilabelkan dalam kategori tertentu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teori representasi Stuart Hall untuk menggambarkan nilai-nilai kekuatan dan diversitas perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perempuan adalah sosok yang kuat, mandiri dan memiliki kebebasan dalam dirinya sendiri.

International Women's Day affects the progress of women's right to achieving gender equality, one of which is stereotypes. These stereotypes giving negative impact on women, such as narrow towards images of women. This articel discusses the issue of women in Du bist Du (2019) Netflix's campaign video. The purpose of this study is to show the strength and diversity of women that they are should not be narrowed and labeled in certain categories. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with Stuart Hall's representation theory to describe the values ùof women's strength and diversity. The results of this study indicate that women are strong, independent, and have freedom in themselves."

"Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh diversitas Direksi dan Dewan Komisaris terhadap kinerja perusahaan yang dilihat berdasarkan kebangsaan, gender, dan proporsi komisaris independen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 274 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia BEI pada tahun 2015. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proporsi Direksi perempuan dan proporsi Komisaris Independen berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan yang diukur dengan Tobin's Q. Selain itu penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa proporsi Direksi asing pada perusahaan dengan 100 pemegang saham domestik memberikan dampak positif yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan perusahaan dengan kepemilikan asing. Sedangkan diversitas Direksi dan Dewan Komisaris tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perusahaan yang diukur dengan ROE.

This study examined the effect of Directors and Board of Commissioners diversity on firm performance views based on nationality, gender, and proportion of Independent Commissioner. This study using a sample of 274 listed firm in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015. The result of this study indicates that the proportion of woman Directors and the proportion of Independent Commissioners have positive impact on firm performance measured by Tobin's Q. In addition, this study also indicates that the proportion of foreign Directors in a firm with 100 domestic ownership has greater positive impact than in a firm with foreign ownership. On the other hand, Directors and Board of Commissioners diversity does not have any impact on firm performance measured by ROE."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh diversitas dan koneksi politik Direksi terhadap strategi perusahaan. Strategi perusahaan diukur menggunakan diversifikasi unrelated. Diversitas Direksi diukur berdasarkan kewarganegaraan, usia, gender, masa jabatan, latar belakang pendidikan, pengalaman, tingkat pendidikan, dan koneksi politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan 408 observasi emiten yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan Direktur berkewarganegaraan asing berpengaruh positif terhadap strategi perusahaan. Hal ini diduga disebabkan karena Direktur berkewarganegaraan asing akan memberikan perspektif dan ide-ide baru serta memiliki pengetahuan mendalam terkait pasar internasional maupun domestik yang bermanfaat bagi strategi perusahaan. Kemudian, diversitas usia dalam susunan Direksi juga berpengaruh positif terhadap strategi perusahaan karena menyediakan berbagai pola pengambilan risiko yang dapat mengurangi bias dalam pengolahan-pengolahan informasi dalam penentuan strategi. Terakhir, diversitas tingkat pendidikan juga berpengaruh positif terhadap strategi perusahaan karena diversitas tingkat pendidikan akan menyediakan berbagai macam pengetahuan, keterampilan serta ide-ide inovatif yang diperlukan dalam penentuan strategi. Untuk variabel diversitas seperti gender, masa jabatan, latar belakang pendidikan, pengalaman serta koneksi politik tidak berpengaruh terhadap strategi perusahaan. Hal ini mungkin disebabkan oleh karena ada faktor-faktor lain yang membuatnya tidak berpengaruh terhadap strategi perusahaan, yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi di Indonesia. Secara keseluruhan, studi ini dapat memberikan pertimbangan bagi pemegang saham akan kriteria calon Direksi yang dapat menunjang keberlangsungan perusahaan dalam jangka panjang. "

""ABSTRACT"This study aims to analyze the effect of Board of Directors 39 diversity and political connections on firm strategy. Firm strategy is measured using unrelated diversification. Board of Directors rsquo diversity is measured by nationality, age, gender, board tenure, educational background, experience, education level, and political connections. The result indicates that the presence of foreign Director positively affects firm strategy. It is because the presence of foreign Director will provide some perspectives, thoughts, new ways for problem solving and deep knowledge about international and domestic market that are beneficial to firm strategy. Then, the age diversity also positively affects firm strategy as it provides various ideas and risk taking patterns that can reduce bias in information processing in strategy determination. Last, educational level diversity positively affects firm strategy because educational level diversity will provide a wide range of knowledge, skills and innovative ideas needed in strategy determination. For other diversity variables such as gender, tenure, educational background, experience and political connections have no effect on firm strategy. This may be due to other factors that make it unaffected to the firm 39 s strategy, adapted to the conditions in Indonesia. Overall, this study gives consideration to shareholders on the minimum criterias to candidates for Board of Directors in order to support firm sustainability in the long term. "

"Keseimbangan berbagai jenis bakteri pada kulit sangat penting dalam menjaga kesehatan kulit. Permasalahan pada kulit wajah yang muncul salah satunya disebabkan oleh disbiosis mikroba. Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis keberagaman mikrobiom bakteri yang terdapat pada kulit wajah dengan kondisi pH dan kelembaban beragam. Metode analisis diversitas dengan Next Generation Sequencing 16s rRNA. Jumlah responden yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 144 sampel. Hasil analisis pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa kelas filum bakteri tertinggi Actinobacterium (49,72%), Proteobacterium (29,86%) dan Firmicutes (18,64%). Pada genus Cutibacterium (41,48%), Neisseriaceae (20,29), Staphylococcus (10,16%) ditemukan terbanyak pada kulit wajah dengan nilai kondisi pH dan kelembaban berbeda. Analisis diversitas alfa dengan indeks Chao1 (p=0,05) dan Faith PD(p=0.004) menunjukan kelimpahan mikrobiom signifikan lebih tinggi ditemukan pada pH tinggi dibandingkan pH normal. Analisis diversitas Alfa pada kelembaban tidak ditemukan signifikan terhadap kelimpahan bakteri mikrobiom wajah. Hasil diversitas beta ditemukan perbedaan kelimpahan mikrobiom bakteri pada sepuluh genus tertinggi yang ditemukan pada pH normal dan pH tinggi serta kelompok kelembaban dengan sangat lembab, lembab dan kering. Kesimpulan penelitian profil genus Cutibacterium, Neisseriaceae, Staphylococcus bakteri paling banyak ditemukan pada pH tinggi dan pH normal seta kelembaban sangat lembab, lembab dan kering. Cutibacterium, Neisseriaceae dan Staphylococcus menunjukan adanya peningkatan pH kulit maka kelimpahan bakteri tersebut semakin meningkat. Pada kelembaban kulit, kelimpahan Cutibacterium dan Staphylococcus menurun seiring penurunan nilai kelembaban kulit.

Balancing various types of bacteria on the skin is crucial for maintaining skin health. One of the issues that arise with facial skin is caused by microbial dysbiosis. Research was conducted to analyze the diversity of bacterial microbiomes on the facial skin with varying pH and moisture conditions. The diversity analysis method used Next Generation Sequencing 16s rRNA, and the study included 144 samples. The results of this research revealed that the highest bacterial phylum classes were Actinobacterium (49.72%), Proteobacterium (29.86%), and Firmicutes (18.64%). The genera Cutibacterium (41.48%), Neisseriaceae (20.29%), and Staphylococcus (10.16%) were the most abundant on the facial skin with different pH and moisture conditions. Alpha diversity analysis using Chao1 index (p=0.05) and Faith PD (p=0.004) indicated significantly higher microbial abundance found in high pH compared to normal pH. However, there was no significant difference in alpha diversity concerning the moisture level and facial bacterial microbiome abundance. Beta diversity analysis showed differences in bacterial microbiome abundance in the top ten genera found between normal pH and high pH, as well as between moisture groups categorized as very moist, moist, and dry. In conclusion, the research profiled the genera Cutibacterium, Neisseriaceae, and Staphylococcus as the most found bacteria in high pH and normal pH conditions, as well as very moist, moist, and dry moisture levels. Cutibacterium, Neisseriaceae, and Staphylococcus showed an increase in skin pH resulting in an increase in the abundance of these bacteria. On the other hand, the abundance of Cutibacterium and Staphylococcus decreased with decreasing skin moisture levels."

"Riset ini bertujuan untuk melihat representasi diversitas pada mainan anak sebagai bagian dari budaya populer yaitu boneka Barbie People of Color Inspiring Women Series dalam membentuk citra keberagaman akan budaya, etnis, dan rasial, serta pekerjaan seorang perempuan. Barbie hingga kini masih menjadi ikon pop culture Amerika yang dijuluki perempuan berambut pirang bermata biru. Dalam melihat fokus tersebut, analisis ini akan menggunakan konsep representasi media, diversitas, dan mainan sebagai bagian dari budaya populer. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam riset ini yaitu studi literatur dan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes kepada tiga boneka Barbie yang diproduksi mengikuti tokoh perempuan berkulit berwarna (People of Color), yaitu Ibtihaj Muhammad, Frida Kahlo, dan Maya Angelou. Semiotika Roland Barthes akan membahas seputar signified (petanda) dan signifier (penanda) yang dikembangkan menjadi makna konotasi dan denotasi (Fiske, 2012). Berdasarkan temuan dari hasil riset ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Mattel sebagai produsen perusahaan mainan Barbie telah mengupayakan fokus mereka kepada seri Barbie Inspiring Women Series terutama pada tokoh People of Color yang mengandung pesan untuk mematahkan stereotip standar kecantikan Barbie menjadi lebih inklusif akan keragaman budaya dan lebih representatif untuk anak – anak di seluruh dunia.

This research aims to look at the representation of diversity in children's toys as part of popular culture, namely the Barbie People of Color Inspiring Women Series, which shaping the image of diversity in culture, ethnicity, and race, as well as woman’s occupation. Barbie is still an icon of American pop culture, represented as a blondehaired, blue-eyed woman. By looking through this focus, this analysis will use the concepts of media representation, diversity, and toys as part of popular culture. The research method used in this research is a literature study and semiotic analysis of Roland Barthes on three Barbie dolls produced following the People of Color female characters, namely Ibtihaj Muhammad, Frida Kahlo, and Maya Angelou. Roland Barthes' semiotics will discuss about signified and signifier which are developed into connotative and denotative meanings (Fiske, 2012). Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that Mattel as a producer of Barbie toy company has made efforts to focus their objectives on the Barbie Inspiring Women Series, especially on the People of Color character that contains a message to break the stereotype of Barbie's beauty standards to be more inclusive of cultural diversity and be more representative for children around the world."

"Situ Rawa Kalong dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sekitar untuk budidaya ikan, kegiatan memancing dan tempat rekreasi. Situ tersebut dikelilingi oleh empat buah pabrik (kap lampu, minuman kemasan, kosmetik, plastik) dan pemukiman penduduk sehingga rentan terkena cemaran organik dan anorganik yang berdampak pada organisme perairan, khususnya fitoplankton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui diversitas fitoplankton serta mengetahui status mutu dan kualitas perairan di Situ Rawa Kalong melalui metode Storet dan perhitungan indeks diversitas fitoplankton dari Shannon-Wiener. Pengamatan dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2020. Pengambilan sampel fitoplankton dilakukan secara horizontal. Fitoplankton yang ditemukan selama pengamatan yakni divisi dari Bacillariophyta, Chlorophyta, Cyanophyta dan Euglenophyta. Berdasarkan hasil metode Storet, perairan Situ Rawa Kalong memiliki status mutu air kelas D dengan skor (-46) – (-48). Nilai tersebut tergolong buruk dan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas perairan di Situ Rawa Kalong mengalami pencemaran berat dengan nilai indeks diversitas berkisar antara 0,46 – 0,48 yang menunjukan komunitas tidak stabil dan terdapat jenis yang mendominasi. Jenis fitoplankton yang mendominasi adalah Chlorella sp. dan Microcystis sp.

Situ Rawa Kalong is used by the local community for fish farming, fishing activities and recreation areas. The Situ is surrounded by four factories (lampshade, drinking water, cosmetic, plastic) and residential areas, making it susceptible to organic and inorganic contamination which affects aquatic organisms, especially phytoplankton. This study aims to find out the diversity of phytoplankton related to the status and water quality in Situ Rawa Kalong using Storet method and calculation of Shannon-Wiener phytoplankton diversity index. Observations were made in October 2020. Phytoplankton sampling was carried out horizontally. The phytoplankton found during the observation were divisions of Bacillariophyta, Chlorophyta, Cyanophyta and Euglenophyta. Based on the results of the Storet method, water quality in Situ Rawa Kalong has been classified as D water quality status with a score of (-46) – (-48). These value is poor and indicates that the water quality in Situ Rawa Kalong is heavily polluted with a diversity index value ranging from 0,46 to 0,48 showing an unstable community and existence of dominant species. The dominant species of phytoplankton are Chlorella sp. and Microcystis sp.

"Penggambaran visual dan modifikasi tokoh merupakan fitur-fitur yang dihadirkan dalam game di masa kini, termasuk game berbentuk novel visual Choices: Stories You Play. Kedua fitur ini memberikan kemungkinan bagi pembuat maupun pemain game untuk mengakomodasi identitas-identitas dunia nyata ke dalam dunia virtual lewat tokoh-tokohnya. Tesis ini menganalisis bagaimana keragaman identitas direpresentasikan oleh Choices. Melalui penelitian etnografis, riset ini mencari tahu bagaimana pemain memaknai fitur ini serta mengonstruksi identitas diri mereka sendiri di dalam game melalui dua modifikasi tokoh: tokoh utama (Main Character) dan pasangan tokoh utama (Love Interest). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Choices masih memperlihatkan kecenderungan untuk lebih menyukai tokoh dengan ras, etnis, fitur wajah, bentuk tubuh, gender, dan orientasi seksual tertentu. Di sisi lain, pemain yang ruang geraknya terbatasi oleh kecenderungan ini membagi bentuk konstruksi identitias diri mereka dalam game menjadi tiga: sebagai cerminan diri di kehidupan nyata, sebagai wadah eksplorasi dan eksperimentasi identitas, serta sebagai ruang membentuk kehidupan ideal. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pada akhirnya representasi diversitas dalam media game tidak terlepas dari budaya produksi dan konsumsinya, yang mana kedua praktik tersebut masing-masing memberikan pemaknaan tersendiri terhadap berjalannya game.

Visual depictions and character modifications are features that are presented in today’s games, including games in the form of a visual novel called Choices: Stories You Play. These two features provide the possibility for gamers to accommodate their real-world identities into the virtual world through their characters. This research analyzes how the diversity of identities is represented by the characters in Choices. Through ethnographic method, this research discusses how players establish their own meaning and construct their own identity in the game through the modification of two characters: the Main Character (MC) and the Love Interest (LI). The results of the research conclude that Choices still shows the tendency to favor characters with a certain race, ethnicity, body shape, facial feature, gender, and sexual orientation. As a result of this limitation, the players construct their identity in the game in three ways: as a reflection of their real-life identity, as a media for exploration and experimentation of identity, and as a space to form an ideal life. In the end, the representation of diversity in game media is attached to the culture of production and consumption, in which each of the two practices gives their own meaning to the interpretation of the game."
