[Jatuh merupakan salah satu masalah yang serius pada lansia. Gangguan keseimbangan tubuh merupakan salah satu penyebab jatuh yang cukup penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh latihan keseimbangan lansia selama 8 minggu terhadap keseimbangan tubuh, risiko jatuh, status kesehatan dan kualitas hidup lansia. Penelitian quasi experimental ini terdiri dari dua kelompok; 30 lansia sebagai kelompok kontrol dan 30 perlakuan. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah multistage random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan latihan keseimbangan lansia berpengaruh signifikan meningkatkan keseimbangan tubuh (p=0,0005), status kesehatan (p=0,0005), kualitas hidup (p=0,0001) dan menurunkan risiko jatuh (p=0,0005). Hasil uji mancova menunjukkan pengaruh LKS lansia diperkuat oleh usia (p=0,0005). Latihan keseimbangan lansia dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan gangguan keseimbangan tubuh, risiko jatuh dan upaya meningkatkan status kesehatan dan kualitas hidup pada lansia di komunitas. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat melakukan penelitian pada kelompok usia yang berbeda untuk mengetahui keefektifan latihan keseimbangan lansia;Falls are the one of serious problem among elderly. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of elderly balance exercise on postural balance, risk of fall, health status and quality of life among elderly. There were significant improvements in postural balance (p=0,0005), health status (p=0,0005) and quality of life (p=0,0001). However, there was a significant reducing in risk of fall (p=0,0005). Balance exercise can be utilized as one of the preventive effort to maintain postural balance, reduce risk of fall, increase health status and quality of life among elderly in the community. Peningkatan populasi lansia di perkotaan berkaitan erat dengan munculnya berbagai masalah kesehatan termasuk risiko jatuh. Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha PSTW Budi Mulia 03 Ciracas merupakan salah satu instansi pelayanan bagi lansia yang berada di area perkotaan dan mempunyai peran dalam memberikan kesejahteraan bagi kehidupan lansia. Karya ilmiah akhir Ners ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis asuhan keperawatan lansia dengan risiko jatuh menggunakan intervensi unggulan terapi latihan keseimbangan yaitu simple balance exercise untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan, mengurangi perasaan takut jatuh dan menurunkan risiko jatuh. Intervensi ini dilakukan minimal 3 kali dalam seminggu selama 30 menit setiap sesi latihan. Hasilnya adalah skor Berg Balance Test mengalami peningkatan 8 skor dari skor awal 26 menjadi 34, skor Falls Efficacy Scale-International menurun 7 skor dari skor awal 33 menjadi 26, sedangkan skor Morse Falls Scale tidak mengalami penurunan.
ABSTRACT
The increasing number of elderly in urban areas is closely related to the emergence of various health problem including risk of falling. Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha PSTW Budi Mulia 03 Ciracas is one of the elderly service institutions located in urban areas with the role of providing welfare for the elderly. The final case study aims to analyze the nursing care in elderly with the risk of falling through exercise therapy that is simple balance exercise to improve balance, reduce fear of falling and reduce the risk of falling. This intervention was done at least three times a week for thirty minutes of each training session. The result was that The Berg Balance Test increase 8 initial scores from 26 to 34, Falls Efficacy Scale International score decreased 7 initial scores from 33 to 26, while Morse Falls Scale score did not significant.

Perubahan pada sistem muskuloskeletal lansia dapat menyebabkan masalah risiko jatuh yang cukup tinggi pada lansia. Kejadian jatuh pada lansia akan berdampak pada kondisi fisik dan fisiologi dari lansia. Penulisan karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan asuhan keperawatan pada lansia yang memiliki risiko jatuh. Risiko jatuh pada lansia dapat diukur melalui beberapa tes, meliputi Modified Falls Efficacy Scale MFES , Performance Oriented Mobility Assessment POMA dan One Leg Stance Test OLTS . Salah satu intervensi keperawatan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi risiko jatuh pada lansia adalah program latihan berdiri dan keseimbangan. Hasil yang didapat yaitu adanya peningkatan yang cukup signifikan yang ditunjukkan dengan hasil pemeriksaan MFES dari skor 5,71 menjadi 10, pemeriksaan POMA dari skor 21 menjadi 24 dan OLTS dari 1,99 detik menjadi 7,55 detik. Program latihan berdiri dan keseimbangan ini dapat dilakukan oleh perawat untuk melatih keseimbangan lansia agar dapat meminimalisir risiko jatuh yang terjadi pada lansia.
Change in the musculoskeletal system on older people can causes quite high risk of falls problem. The incident of falls on older people will have an impact on the physical and phychological condition of older people. The purpose of this scientific article is to explain nursing care of older people with risk of falls. Risk of falls in older people can be measurred by using some tests, which are Modified Falls Efficacy Scale MFES , Performance Oriented Mobility Assessment POMA and One Leg Stance Test OLTS . One of the nursing cares that can be implemented to reduce risk of falls on older people is standing and balance training program. The obtained result shows quite significant increase in MFES score, which enhanced from 5,71 to 10. Moreover, there is also an increasing result in POMA and OLTS score. POMA score increases from 21 to 24 and OLTS score increases from 1,99 seconds to 7,55 seconds. Standing and balance exercise program can be implemented by nurse to train balance on older people in order to minimize risk of falls on older people.Keywords musculoskeletal change older people risk of falls standing and balance exercise.

Perubahan pada sistem muskuloskeletal lansia dapat menyebabkan masalah hambatan mobilitas fisik yang cukup tinggi pada lansia. Penulisan karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada lansia yang memiliki hambatan mobilitas fisik. Intervensi keperawatan yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi hambatan mobilitas fisik pada lansia adalah program latihan keseimbangan Ba Duan Jin Exercise. Ba Duan Jin Exercise merupakan intervensi keperawatan berupa latihan keseimbangan yang mudah, santai, dan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan tubuh. Hasil intervensi yang dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali seminggu selama 5 minggu dengan Ba Duan Jin Exercise didapatkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan ditunjukkan dengan hasil pemeriksaan MFES (Modified Falls Efficacy Scale) dari skor 5,71 menjadi 10, pemeriksaan BBT (Berg Balance Test) dari skor 26 menjadi 33, pemeriksaan TUGT (Time Up and Go Test) dari 13,7 detik menjadi 10,5 detik dan OLST (One Leg Stance Test) dari 0,6 detik menjadi 2,2 detik. Program latihan keseimbangan ini dapat dilakukan oleh perawat untuk melatih keseimbangan lansia agar dapat meminimalisasi hambatan mobilitas fisik yang terjadi pada lansia.
Change in the musculoskeletal system on older people can causes quite high impaired physical mobility problem. The purpose of this scientific article is to explain nursing care of older people with impaired physical mobility. One of the nursing cares that can be implemented to reduce risk of falls on older people is balance training program called Ba Duan Jin Exercise. Ba Duan Jin Exercise is nursing intervention that has a low-intensity aaerobic exercise which is suitable for practice among older people and can improving the balance ability of older people. After the interventions twice a week during 5 weeks, the obtained result shows quite significant increase in Modified Falls Efficacy Scale (MFES) score, which enhanced from 5,71 to 10. Berg Balance Test (BBT) score increases from 26 to 33, Time Up and Go Test (TUGT) score increases from 13,7 seconds to 10,5 seconds, and One Leg Stance Test (OLST) score increases from 0,6 seconds to 2,2 seconds. This balance exercise program can be implemented by nurse to train balance on older people in order to minimize impaired physical mobility among older people.
