Abstrak :
This paper reports the local-innovation perspective for the Indonesian mobile cellular market. Under the local perspective, the innovation opportunity appears when it suit characteristics of the country and the behavior nature of its people such concept is built into realization by making an applications of mobile-herbal (m-herbal) services applications. The service is designed by following the proposed framework, starting from scanning the market demand, defining specific applications, defining the actors, exploration of tacit knowledge of the actors, engineering development, implantation innovation and concurrent innovative development. We used the results of previous market survey emphasizing a need of health-related service for Indonesian market. Herbal remedy was chosen as the focal point of health-related service development since it is well-known indigenous method of treatment by using Indonesian natural ingredients. The service is developed to run on the Android-based smartphone, connects to the database called Indonesian HerbalDB. It consists two main features, i.e. query of herbal remedies and self evaluation assessment. Users of the services may search the names of Indonesian traditional plantation, its local names, and the kind of disease which can be cured. Through the features of self evaluation assessment, users are encouraged to give their personal perception of the herbal remedies, and being the recommendation to other users afterward. Finally, our proposed framework signifies the importance of communications channel among the actors in the mobile cellular facilitating mutual interaction between the multiple actors involved in the mobile herbal development.

Understanding 5G from a perspective of innovation is to explore both technical research and development (R&D) and non-technical issues. While 4G has been considered as an incremental innovation from its predecessors (3G and 2G), design features and key technologies have indicated 5G as a disruptive innovation. Consequently, 5G will create new market values, in which new services and applications will emerge in unexpected ways. Hence, it is predicted that policy makers will face significant challenges concerning 5G implementation in their respective countries. This paper aims to investigate the challenges to standards and regulations at a country level. The discussion begins with the challenges because of the emergence of non-human markets as well as the complexity of multi-device technological platforms. Due to anticipated massive cloud-based applications, security issues of cloud-based applications will be a subsequent challenge for national policy makers. Finally, as 5G may require various supporting technologies, the challenge for the policy maker is also to trigger national development of local standards.

Mobile technology is continuously evolving towards the development of fourth generation (4G) cellular telephony. Many countries are anticipating such a new technological deployment while developing countries may also see it as the opportunity for catching up. Within the orientation of innovation building, 4G may act as the medium for triggering country’s innovation policies. This paper aims to identify the windows of opportunity from the upcoming implementation of 4G mobile technology. The methodology is constructed based on the perspective of an innovation system in which mobile cellular is regarded as a series of technological innovations. By utilizing the relevant data of 3G and 4G standard development, we predicted the 4G implementation profile. They consist of a set of technologies which can be the main area of science and technology (S&T) as well as research and development (R&D) activities in a developing country. Policymakers may utilize such opportunities to foster the acquisition and generation of the relevant knowledge in both manufacturing and service industries.

Mobile marketing merupakan salah satu media yang efektif untuk memasarkan barang atau jasa dalam mempengaruhi konsumen mengambil keputusan untuk memilih dan membeli produk atau jasa tersebut. Pastinya, hal ini dapat terwujud apabila para marketers memahami dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi masyarakat atau konsumen dalam penerimaan mobile marketing. Hal ini juga dapat terwujud apabila masyarakat dapat dengan mudah memahami dan menggunakan teknologi mobile phone (mobile device). Dalam penelitian ini akan dijelaskan bagaimana pengaruh risk acceptance dan personal attachment serta aktivitas-aktivitas mobile seperti providing information, sharing content, dan accessing content mempengaruhi dan memiliki hubungan positif dalam mobile marketing acceptance. Penelitian ini didesain untuk menguji dan membuktikan pengaruh faktor-faktor tersebut dalam penerimaan mobile marketing pada produk politik terhadap kaum muda masyarakat di Jabodetabek. Model ini diuji dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa mobile marketing acceptance dipengaruhi oleh faktor faktor antecedent dan juga aktivitas dari kegiatan mobile. ...... The research is designed to test the effect of those factors in mobile marketing acceptance on political products on youth voters in Jabodetabek. The model of research is tested using structural equation modeling (SEM). The result showed that mobile marketing acceptance is influenced by antecedent factors and mobile activities.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi preferensi konsumen saat menggunakan QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) pada sistem pembayaran seluler di Indonesia. Dengan munculnya pembayaran seluler QRIS, transaksi di banyak area bisnis, terutama di toko, telah terganggu. Dari pembayaran tunai dan EDC (Electronic Data Capture), sudah menjadi hal umum di Indonesia menggunakan pembayaran QR dengan QRIS. Sebuah tinjauan komprehensif dari literatur ilmiah menunjukkan pengembangan model perilaku yang menjelaskan preferensi untuk menggunakan QRIS. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel berusia 17-30 tahun yang tergolong pengguna mobile payment aktif yang rutin menggunakan QRIS dalam bisnisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan antara dua variabel dengan menganalisis tipe kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian konklusif dan deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penerimaan teknologi (TAM) untuk membentuk perilaku yang berbeda tergantung pada penggunaan pengguna dari setiap metode pembayaran yang ditawarkan. Wawasan dan dampak pada manajemen memberikan alternatif untuk menjalankan bisnis. Penelitian ini menggunakan SmartPLS karena fokus penelitian adalah menganalisis hubungan antara konstruk, bukan menganalisis model. Hasil empiris menunjukkan bahwa kenyamanan dan kecepatan yang diakui merupakan hambatan penting dalam proses pembayaran, seiring dengan niat perilaku pengguna terhadap pembayaran QRIS. Hambatan potensial lainnya termasuk pemilihan pembayaran seluler di dalam toko, ketidaktahuan konsumen terhadap QRIS, kebiasaan lama, citra, dan inovasi pribadi dari layanan dan kebutuhan pengguna yang dapat diterima secara sosial. ......The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence consumer preference when using QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) in Indonesian mobile payment systems in-store. With the advent of QRIS mobile payments, transactions in many areas of the business scene, especially in stores, have been disrupted. From cash and EDC (Electronic Data Capture) payments, it has become common in Indonesia to use QR payments with QRIS. A comprehensive review of the scientific literature shows the development of a behavioral model that explains the preference for using QRIS. This study uses a sample of 17-30 years old classified as active mobile payment users who regularly use QRIS in their business. This research aims to seek relationships between two variables by analyzing a quantitative type with conclusive and descriptive research design. This study uses technology acceptance model (TAM) to form different behaviors depending on the user's usage of each payment method offered. Insights and impacts on management provide an alternative to operating a business.This research uses SmartPLS since the focus of the research is to analyze the relationship between construct, not analyzing a model. Empirical results show that the recognized convenience and speed constitutes an important barrier to the payment process, along with the behavioral intention of users towards the QRIS payment. Other potential obstacles include in-store selection of mobile payments, consumer ignorance of QRIS, old habits, image, and personal innovativeness of users' socially acceptable services and needs.

Penelitian ini meneliti dua dimensi dari sikap yang dapat mempengaruhi tanggapan terhadap iklan mobile, yaitu evaluasi berbasis teknologi dan evaluasi berbasis emosi. Penelitian ini juga meneliti kredibilitas yang dianggap memiliki pengaruh dalam menentukan sikap terhadap iklan mobile. Data hasil penelitian diolah menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa sikap terhadap iklan mobile memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap tanggapan pada iklan mobile, kemudian kredibilitas terbukti dapat memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan pada sikap terhadap iklan mobile. Namun, penerimaan teknologi mobile tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tanggapan pada iklan mobile. ...... This research examines the two dimensions of attitudes that may affect responses to mobile advertising, namely the technology-based evaluations and emotion-based evaluations. This research also examines credibility which considered to have an influence in determining attitudes toward mobile ads. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results stated that attitudes toward mobile ads have a positive and significant effect on the response to mobile ads, then credibility proven to have a positive and significant effect on attitudes toward mobile ads. However, the acceptance of mobile technology don’t have a significant influence on response to mobile ads.
