Obesitas merupakan masalah yang umum terjadi di dunia. Sebanyak 12,8 persen penduduk berusia 18 tahun ke atas di Indoensia menyandang berat badan berlebih. Dari angka tersebut, 20,7 persen penyandang obesitas. Obesitas dapat meningkatkan risiko penyakit kronis seperti penyakit hipertensi, kardiovaskular, dan penyakit tidak menular lainnya. Untuk mengatasi obesitas, dilakukan penurunan berat badan dengan berbagai cara. Namun, penurunan berat badan pada penyandang obesitas sering naik kembali dan tidak bisa dipertahankan pada hasil penurunan tersebut. Hal ini disebut sebagai weight cycling. Pada keadaan weight cycling, massa lemak lebih rendah dari massa bebas lemak yang ada di dalam tubuh. Hal ini meningkatkan risiko penyakit kardiovaskular dan diabetes mellitus tipe 2. Untuk mengatasi weight cycling, dianjurkan diet yang teratur. Diet kalori rendah protein tinggi sering dianggap dapat menurunkan berat badan dengan hasil yang memuaskan. Pada subjek obesitas, terjadi hipoksia pada jaringan lemak. Keadaan ini meningkatkan kemungkinan terjadinya stres oksidatif. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan aktivitas antioksidan SOD total plasma yang diukur pada subjek penyandang obesitas dengan weight cycling pada kelompok yang diberi edukasi diet kalori rendah protein tinggi dengan diet kalori rendah protein standar. Metode: Subjek adalah karyawan Pusat Pelayanan Kesehatan di Balai Kota DKI Jakarta yang berumur 20-50 tahun penyandang obesitas dengan weight cycling. Subjek dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol yang mendapatkan edukasi diet kalori rendah protein standar dan kelompok perlakuan yang mendapatkan edukasi diet kalori rendah protein tinggi. Aktivitas SOD diukur setelah subjek mendapat perlakuan selama 8 minggu. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan aktivitas SOD total plasma yang bermakna antara kelompok subjek yang diedukasi diet kalori rendah protein tinggi dengan diet kalori rendah protein standar. Kesimpulan: pemberian edukasi diet protein tinggi dan standar tidak mempengaruhi aktivitas SOD total plasma pada subjek obesitas dengan weight cycling. ...... Obesity is a common problem around the globe. In Indonesia, 12.8 percent of above 18 years old population has excess body weight. From the mentioned number, 20.7 percent counts as obesity. Obesity can increase the risk of chronic diseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular, and other non-communicable diseases. To treat obesity, several ways have been done to lose body weight. However, weight loss in obesity is difficult to retain and often comes back to the starting point. This fluctuation on body weight is called weight cycling. In weight cycling, lipid mass level is lower than free lipid mass level, which can lead to increased risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Well-managed diet has been prescribed to treat weight cycling, in which low calorie high protein diet is often recommended for best result. In obesity, oxidative stress occurred in the fat tissue because of hypoxia. This study aims to observe the difference in total plasma SOD activity between the subject groups with low calorie high protein diet and low calorie standard protein diet. Methods : Subjects are 20-50 years old workers at Pusat Pelayanan Kesehatan in Balai Kota DKI Jakarta and are obese with weight cycling. Subjects are divided into the control group, which receives low calorie standard protein diet education, and the treatment group, which reveives low calorie high protein diet education. Results : The result showed no significant difference in total plasma SOD activity between the low calorie high protein diet group and low calorie standard protein group. Interpretation & conclusion : high protein and standard protein diet educations do not impact total plasma SOD activity in obese subjects with weight cycling.

Weight cycling merupakan suatu siklus berulang dari penurunan berat badan yang disengaja melalui diet yang diikuti oleh peningkatan berat badan kembali yang tidak disengaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan proporsi weight cycling berdasarkan keseimbangan asupan makro saat diet, frekuensi makan, dukungan sosial, aktivitas olahraga, dan tingkat stres pada model di tiga agency model terpilih di Denpasar, Bali tahun 2016. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Penelitian ini melibatkan 78 orang model wanita dari tiga agnecy model terpilih di Denpasar dengan rentang usia 19-25 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner dan wawancara semiquantitative food frequency questionnaire. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan 62,8% model mengalami weight cycling dan sebesar 79,6% model tergolong dalam weight cycler tingkat ringan. Uji chi-square menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan proporsi weight cycling yang bermakna berdasarkan keseimbangan asupan makro saat diet (OR=10,000), frekuensi makan (OR=19,556), dukungan sosial (OR=9,738), aktivitas olahraga (OR=3,143 dan OR=13,750), dan tingkat stress (OR=1,600 dan OR=9,120) pada model di tiga agency model di Denpasar, Bali tahun 2016.
ABSTRACT
Weight cycling is a repetitive cycle of intentionally losing weight through diet followed by unintentionally weight regain. This study aims to determine the differences proportion of weight cycling based on macronutrient intake balance when dieting, eating frequency, social supports, exercise activities, and stress levels among models in three selected Model Agencies in Denpasar, Bali in 2016. The study design that used in this research is cross sectional study. This research involved 78 female models from three different selected agency in Denpasar, with an age range between 19-25 years old. The data was collected through questionnaire and interview of semiquantitative food frequency questionnaire. The study result showed 62,8% models experience weight cycling and 79,6% models are categorized to mild weight cyclers. Chi-square test show that there are significant differences in the proportion of weight cycling based on macronutrient intake balance when dieting (OR=10,000), eating frequency (OR=19,556), social supports (OR=9,738), exercise activities, (OR=3,143 dan OR=13,750) and stress levels (OR=1,600 dan OR=9,120) among models in three selected Model Agencies in Denpasar, Bali in 2016.

Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk meneliti peranan komponen sikap, norma subyektif dan perceived behavioral control (PBC) dalam memprediksi intensi mahasiswa bersepeda di dalam kampus. Teori yang digunakan untuk menganalisis adalah teori planned behavior (TPB). Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain ex post facto field study. Sampel penelitian adalah 134 mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia dari 10 fakultas yang diambil melalui metode quota sampling. Partisipan diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner yang mengukur komponen TPB, yaitu sikap, norma subyektif, PBC, dan intensi. Hasil analisis korelasi berganda menunjukkan bahwa: (a) intensi diprediksi oleh sikap, norma subyektif dan PBC.;(b) Hanya sikap yang berperan signifikan menjelaskan intensi, sementara norma subyektif dan PBC tidak. Implikasi dari penemuan ini terkait isu teoritis dan praktis, dan implikasi untuk desain intervensi didiskusikan kemudian.
This thesis is aimed to examine role of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control (PBC) to predict students cycling intention in campus route. Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) is used to analyze this problem. This research is excluded on quantitative research, which use ex post facto field study as the design research. The study sample was composed of 134 college students of University of Indonesia, come from ten faculty, which is taken through quota sampling methods. They were administered a questionnaire designed to measure the components of the TPB, consist of attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control (PBC) and intention. Multiple regression analyses demonstrated that: (a) Behavioral intention was significantly predictable from attitudes, subjective norm and PBC; (b) Only attitude have a fairly accurate explanation of intention to cycling in campus route, neither have subjective norm and PBC. The implications of this finding in relation to theoretical and practical issues, also implication for designing interventions were discussed later.

Understanding the role of the built environment in decisions to bicycle may lead to positive infrastructure policy. Several studies support the notion that providing bicycle infrastructure, particularly lanes and paths, can increase bicycle use. Many of these studies, however, rely on aggregate data, making it difficult to examine the direct relationship between infrastructure and behavior. The aim of this paper is to identify the arrangements of bicycle infrastructure at Universitas Indonesia (UI) Campus Depok, and to provide recommendations to fulfill the needs of cyclists so as to encourage cycling on campus. Bicycle infrastructure at the Universitas Indonesia Campus receives good ratings. The findings indicate that the quality of facilities strongly influences respondents' assessment, followed by perceptions of reliability, convenience, accessibility, and security. The willingness to use a bicycle as a mode of transport on campus is influenced by reliability and accessibility. This paper concludes that UI has the opportunity to become a more bicycle-friendly campus, and that greater cycle ability can be achieved by planning, investment of funds for infrastructure development, and programs aimed at improving safety and enhancing convenience.

Bersepeda merupakan transportasi hemat energi, bebas emisi karbon, dan merupakan active transportation sebagai perwujudan dari healthy lifestyle. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memahami proses terjadinya place attachment pada destinasi tertentu dalam jalur bersepeda. Sasaran dari penelitian ini adalah panduan perancangan jalur sepeda baru yang atraktif, meningkatkan minat bersepeda warga kota, dan menuju penurunan emisi karbon di ruang kota. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan teori place attachment dan analisis naratif deskriptif. Penemuan faktor-faktor pembentuk place attachment pada ruang dan destinasi bersepeda diharapkan mampu berkontribusi dalam studi mengenai kemampuan ruang dalam mengakomodir pesepeda atau bikeability di perkotaan. Penerapan konsep tersebut juga diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat dari sektor ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan. ......Cycling is energy-efficient transportation, free of carbon emissions, and is an active transportation embodiment of a healthy lifestyle. This study aims to understand the process of place attachment in cycling spaces. The objective of this research is to guide the design of attractive new bicycle point destinations and paths, increase the interest in cycling among city residents, and contribute to reducing carbon emissions in urban spaces. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with a place attachment theory approach and descriptive narrative analysis. Primary data collection was carried out by observing cyclists, cyclists' destinations, and interviews with cyclists & other actors. In addition, we do active participation as cyclists to get hands-on experience. This study reveals aspects of interaction, activity, memory, and experience as elements that play a role in place attachment at destination points and cycling routes in Yogyakarta.

Indoor cycling merupakan salah satu variasi olahraga hasil dari inovasi manusia untuk meningkatkan kesehatan dan kebugaran. Indoor cycling merupakan kelas olah fisik dengan menggunakan alat sepeda stasioner dalam ruang tertutup (indoor). Indoor cycling merupakan hasil inovasi dan perkembangan dari aktifitas bersepeda outdoor (luar ruang) konvensional. Oleh karena indoor cycling merupakan inovasi olahraga yang dilaksanakan di dalam ruangan, maka dalam perkembangannya, indoor cycling dilengkapi dengan suasana kualitas ruang yang sengaja dirancang untuk memicu semangat dan gairah para penggunanya melalui indera penglihatan dan pendengaran. Elemen kualitas ruang yang diperhatikan pada penulisan skripsi ini adalah warna, cahaya, dan musik (audio).
Indoor cycling is one of sport varieties of human?s innovations to increase health and fitness. Indoor cycling is a form of physical exercise held indoors, using stationary bikes. It is a result of the innovation and development from the conventional outdoor cycling. Since indoor cycling is an innovation of workout held indoors, in its development, it is completed with the atmosphere of spatial interior which is deliberately designed to trigger its users to feel vigorous and excited through visual and auditory senses. Elements of spatial qualities studied in writing this thesis are color, lighting, and music (audio).

Salah satu pengembangan metode terbaru terkait alat uji siklus termal PCM adalah dengan menggunakan modul termoelektrik sebagai elemen pemanas dan pendingin. Kekurangan dari metode sebelumnya yaitu perubahan polaritas termoelektrik yang berdasarkan waktu, volume sampel yang besar dalam cartridge, kesulitan dalam mengeluarkan sampel PCM, dan membersihkan cartridge setelah digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode pengujian siklus berbasis termoelekrik dengan perubahan polaritasnya berdasarkan temperatur sampel PCM, membuat cartridge dengan volume yang lebih sedikit, dan juga dapat dibongkar-pasang. Metode yang baru ini diuji dengan menggunakan sampel PCM berupa beeswax dan RT44HC. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan metode terbaru ini dapat mencapai titik leleh dan titik beku dari sampel secara bergantian dan otomatis. Pengujian karakteristik termal menunjukkan beeswax dan RT44HC yang dapat mempertahankan temperatur leleh dan bekunya setelah pengujian 1000 siklus. ...... One of the most recent developments of PCM thermal cycling test method is by applying thermoelectric module as a heating and cooling element. The disadvantages of previous method were the alteration in thermoelectric polarity was based on time, large volume of sample in a cartridge, difficulty in taking out PCM samples, and cleaning the cartridge after use. This research aims to develop a method of cycling test using thermoelectric polarity was changed according to PCMs sample temperature, to build cartridge with less volume, and make a cartridge that can be disassembled. The new modified apparatus was operated over beeswax and RT44HC as PCM samples. The results of this research showed that the modified test apparatus had alternately and automatically reached melting and cooling temperature. From thermal characterization, beeswax and RT44HC is able to maintain its melting and freezing temperature after 1000 cycles, while its heat of fusion had undergone degradation.

Skripsi ini membahas tentang kejadian weight cycling pada mahasiswi FIB UI Depok tahun 2012. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran kejadian weight cycling dan hubungannya terhadap perilaku diet (frekuensi diet, keseimbangan asupan, frekuensi makan, kedisiplinan, dan aktifitas olahraga). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan alat ukur kuisioner dan menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 43,9% dari responden mengalami weight cycling. Faktor keseimbangan asupan dan frekuensi makan menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang bermakna dengan kejadian weight cycling. Saran dari peneliti adalah mahasiswi perlu memiliki pengetahuan diet yang baik dan benar sehingga dapat diterapkan pada perilaku berdiet.
ABSTRACT
This study discussed the occurrence of weight cycling on students of FIB UI Depok 2012. The aim of this study was to understand the occurrence of weight cycling and its relation to dieting behaviour (dieting frequencies, balance of intake, eating frequencies, dicipline, and sports activities). This study used quantitative questionnaires measuring devices and with crosssectional design. This study was showed that 43,9% of the respondents experienced weight cycling. The intake balance and eating frecuencies were significantly related to weight cycling. The author suggests the students needs to have the right education of dieting so they can apply it to their dieting behavior.
