Berbagai studi menunjukkan adanya inkonsistensi mengenai dampak cyberloafing terhadap performa kerja, sementara terdapat 83,1% karyawan di Indonesia yang melakukan cyberloafing (Hartijasti & Fathonah, 2015). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti kembali hubungan antara cyberloafing dan performa kerja pada dimensi performa tugas, performa kontekstual, dan perilaku kerja kontraproduktif melalui mekanisme tertentu, yaitu psychological detachment. Sampel penelitian adalah karyawan dari berbagai industri berusia 20-64 tahun (N = 614) yang menggunakan internet dalam bekerja. Analisis mediasi menunjukkan bahwa psychological detachment memediasi hubungan antara cyberloafing dan performa tugas (ab = -0,03, BootSE = -0,012, 95% CI [-0,06, -0,02]) serta performa kontekstual (ab = -0,03, BootSE = 0,011, 95% CI [-0,053, -0,011]) tanpa adanya hubungan langsung, sementara psychological detachment memediasi hubungan antara cyberloafing dan perilaku kerja kontraproduktif secara sebagian (ab = 0,02, BootSE = 0,01, 95% CI [0,000, 0,035]) karena ada hubungan langsung di antara keduanya (c’ = 0,21, t(614) = 5,4, SE = 0,04, 95% CI [0,14, 0,29]). Organisasi dapat menggunakan hasil penelitian sebagai pertimbangan dalam merumuskan kebijakan penggunaan internet oleh karyawan ......Previous studies showed that there is inconsistency in the consequences of cyberloafing on job performance, whereas 83,1% employees in Indonesia did cyberloafing (Hartijasti & Fathonah, 2015). Therefore, the current research was conducted to reinvestigate the relationship between cyberloafing and job performance, specifically task performance, contextual performance, and counterproductive behavior, through a certain mechanism, namely psychological detachment. The sample was employees from various industries aged 20-64 years old (N = 614) who use internet to work. Mediation analysis showed that psychological detachment fully mediates the relationships between cyberloafing and task performance (ab = -0,03, BootSE = -0,012, 95% CI [-0,06, -0,02]), also contextual performance (ab = -0,03, BootSE = 0,011, 95% CI [-0,053, -0,011]) without direct effect between them. Meanwhile, psychological detachment partially mediates the relationship between cyberloafing and counterproductive work behavior (ab = 0,02, BootSE = 0,01, 95% CI [0,000, 0,035]) because there is direct effect between the two (c’ = 0,21, t(614) = 5,4, SE = 0,04, 95% CI [0,14, 0,29]). Organizations can utilize the results to be put into consideration when creating employees’ internet use policy.

Skripsi ini membahas Kemampuan Komunikasi Interpersonal Kepala Cabang sebagai pemimpin dan hubungannya dengan Kinerja Karyawan yang ada di lingkungan Bank Rakyat Indonesia Kantor Cabang Kramat Jati Jakarta. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Teori yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel kemampuan komunikasi pemimpin adalah teori Devito (2011) mengenai kemampuan yang harus dikembangkan seorang pemimpin antara lain Openness, Empathy, Supportiveness, Positiveness, dan Equality. Sementara teori yang digunakan untuk mengukur Kinerja Karyawan adalah teori Contextual Performance dari Aguinis (2007) yang terdiri dari Trait Approach, dan Behavior Approach. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan Total Sampling dimana Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan di lingkungan Bank Rakyat Indonesia Kantor Cabang Kramat Jati Jakarta berstatus Karyawan Kontrak dan Tetap (Organik) berjumlah 79 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal pemimpin dengan kinerja karyawan di Bank BRI Kantor Cabang Kramat Jati Jakarta memiliki hubungan yang positif. Nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar .499 menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang sedang dari kedua variabel tersebut.
This study discusses about interpersonal communication skills of the leader and their relation with the performance of employees in the BRI of Branch Office Kramat Jati Jakarta. This study used the Devito (2011) theory which states that the abilities leader to be developed are include openness, empathy, supportiveness, positiveness, and equality. Where as the theory of contextual performance bu Aguinis (2007) is used to measure the performance of employees. According to Aguinis it consists of the trait and behavior approach. The sampling technique of this study is total sampling which is the samples in this study were employees of the BRI of Branch Office Kramat Jati Jakarta. The status oh this employee are the contract and permanent (organic), around to 79 people. Data collection technique is the questionnaire as a research instrument. The results of this study showed that the communication skills of the leadder with the employee performance in the BRI of Branch Office Kramat Jati Jakarta had a positive relationship. The correlation coefficient is .499, it showed that moderate correlation of the two variables.

Karyawan lini depan menghadapi tuntutan tampilan ekspresi emosi spesifik yang telah ditentukan oleh perusahaan selama berinteraksi dengan pelanggan secara langsung. Emosi yang sebenarnya dirasakan tidak selalu sejalan dengan emosi yang harus ditampilkan sehingga karyawan perlu menerapkan strategi emotional labor yaitu surface acting maupun deep acting. Penggunaan strategi emotional labor dapat menimbulkan dampak positif maupun negatif terhadap performa kerja individu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara strategi emotional labor berupa surface acting dan deep acting dengan performa kerja yang terbagi atas task performance, contextual performance, dan counterproductive work behavior. Sebanyak 90 karyawan sales retail Jabodetabek mengisi kuesioner yang berisi alat ukur emotional labor dari Diefendorff, Croyle, dan Gosserand (2005) dan Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ). Hasil analisis korelasi menemukan bahwa strategi surface acting secara signifikan berhubungan positif dengan counterproductive work behavior (r=0.314, p<0.01) dan strategi deep acting berhubungan signifikan positif dengan contextual performannce (r=0.114, p<0.05) pada karyawan sales retail. ...... Frontline employees face the display rules when interacting with customers as to meet organizationally desired outcomes. They have to regulate their emotions in a situation where felt emotions are incongruent with the display rules through emotional labor strategy by using surface or deep acting. The use of emotional labor strategy impacts employee’s job performance positively and negatively. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between surface acting and deep acting with task performance, contextual performance, and counterproductive work behavior in retail sales workers. A total of 90 Jabodetabek retail sales workers completed a questionnaire that includes emotional labor scale from Diefendorff, Croyle, dan Gosserand (2005) and Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ). The result found that surface acting was significantly correlated with counterproductive work behavior ((r=0.314, p<0.01) while deep acting was significantly correlated with contextual performance (r=0.114, p<0.05).
