......The adolescent population is prone to experiencing mental health problems (Gadagnoto et al., 2022) and an increase in the prevalence of mental health disorders has been found in the adolescent population in Indonesia (Riskesdas, 2018). Research shows that the intention to seek help from professionals is still low (Moen et al., 2018; Barus, 2022). One of the protective factors for adolescents against mental health problems is social support and their perception of the availability of this source of support from the surrounding environment is considered essential. This research examined the relationship between perceived social support and mental health professional help-seeking intention among high school adolescents in Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative method with a correlational research design. Measuring perceived social support using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) and mental health professional help-seeking intention using the Mental Help Seeking Intention Scale (MHSIS) was conducted on 144 high school adolescent participants in Bandung. The study found a positive and significant relationship between perceived social support and mental health professional help-seeking intention (r = 0.410, p < 0.01).

......Changes experienced by freshmen when transitioning to college influence both their positive and negative affects of SWB, but the existence of perceived social support may act as a protector (stress-buffer). PSS has three sources, namely friends, family, and significant other. Thus, this study aims to determine the joint effect of each dimension or source of PSS towards positive and negative affects of SWB and which sources have a greater influence towards positive and negative affects of SWB. Participants consisted of 361 freshmen college students aged 18-21 years and attended lectures by an online learning system so they currently live with their families. Data analysis is done using multiple linear regression statistical techniques with stepwise method. The results showed that family and significant other PSS are sources that have a positive and significant effect toward positive affect. Family PSS has a greater role than the significant other PSS toward positive affect (R2 = 0.215, p <0.001). Furthermore, family PSS is the only source that has a negative and significant effect toward negative affect (R2 = 0.066, p <0.001). The research results can be used by student counselors in universities

We all know that networking is important, and that forming relationships with others is a vital part of success. But sometimes it seems like networking removes all emotions from the equation and focuses only on immediate goals...whereas the kind of relationships that have true staying power, give us joy, and support us in the long run are founded on simply liking each other. This book, featuring activities, self-assessment quizzes, and real-life anecdotes from professional and social settings, shows readers how to identify what's likable in themselves and create honest, authentic interactions that become "wins" for all parties involved. Readers will discover how to: start conversations and keep them going with ease; convert acquaintances into friends; uncover people's preferences and tweak their own personal style to enable engaging, reciprocal interactions; and, create follow-up and stay in others' minds long after the initial meeting. The worst thing we can do when trying to establish a personal bond with someone is to come across as manipulative or self-serving. Authentic connections go much deeper-and feel much easier-than trying to hit self-imposed business card collection quotas. This book presents a new paradigm that shows how even the most networking-averse can network...and like it.
