Abstrak :
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara resiliensi dan coping pada pasien kanker. Sebanyak 70 pasien kanker menjadi partisipan dalam studi ini dengan mengisi kuisioner resiliensi dan coping. Resiliensi diukur dengan menggunakan The 14-Item Resilience Scale (RS-14) yang disusun oleh Wagnild dan Young (2009). Skor terendah dalam pengukuran resiliensi adalah sebesar 36 dan yang tertinggi adalah 53, sementara itu rata-rata skor menunjukkan skor 43,38. Selanjutnya, coping diukur dengan menggunakan alat ukur Brief COPE yang dibuat oleh Carver (1997) berdasarkan teori Lazarus dan Folkman (1984). Skor terendah dalam pengukuran coping adalah sebesar 57 dan yang tertinggi adalah 87, sementara itu rata-rata skor menunjukkan skor 72,14. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi yang positif dan signifikan antara coping dan resiliensi. Selain itu ditemukan bahwa resiliensi berhubungan lebih erat dengan jenis emotion-focused coping. ......This research was done to see the relationship between coping & resilience toward cancer patient. 70 cancer patients participated in this study by completing the questionnaires on resilience and coping. Resilience was measured by The 14- Item Resilience Scale (RS-14) measurement created by Wagnild and Young (2009). The lowest score is 36, while the highest score is 53. Beside that, the sample mean in Resilience Scale measurement is 43,38. Coping was measured by the Brief COPE measurement created by Carver (1997) based on Lazarus and Folkman's theories. The lowest score is 57, while the highest score is 87. Beside that, the sample mean in Brief COPE measurement is 72,14. The result of this research shows the existence of positive & significant correlation between resilience and coping. Other than that, the result of the research also show a higher correlation between resilience and emotion focused coping.

Kanker dan pengobatan dapat menyebabkan berbagai dampak pada kehidupan sehari-hari pasien. Self-efficacy yang rendah pada pasien kanker menyebabkan penurunan kualitas hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan kualitas hidup pasien kanker di Rumah Singgah Kanker Jakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-efficacy dengan kualitas hidup pasien kanker di Rumah Singgah Kanker Jakarta. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional dengan melibatkan 82 pasien kanker yang didapatkan melalui total sampling. Self-efficacy dinilai dengan menggunakan instrumen Cancer Behavior Inventory (CBI), sedangkan kualitas hidup dinilai dengan menggunakan instrumen Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy ? General (FACT-G). Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Chi-square menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara self-efficacy dengan kualitas hidup dengan nilai p value =0,000 (α=0,05). Edukasi dan konseling mengenai self-efficacy dibutuhkan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien kanker di Rumah Singgah Kanker Jakarta.

ABSTRACT
Cancer and treatment can cause various effects on the patients? daily life. Low self-efficacy in cancer patients led to decrease in their quality of life. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life in cancer patients in Rumah Singgah Kanker Jakarta. The study design was crosssectional involved 82 cancer patients, who were obtained through total sampling. Self-efficacy was assessed by using Cancer Behavior Inventory (CBI) instrument, while quality of life was assessed by using Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy - General (FACT-G) instrument. The results of analysis using Chi-square test indicates that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and quality of life with p value =0,000 (α=0,05). Education and counseling in selfefficacy are needed in order to improve the quality of life of cancer patients in Rumah Singgah Kanker Jakarta. ;;
