This research studies the influence of social and the economic factors (education, field of business, and economic status), demographic and residence, cultural (the autonomy of wife and preferences sex of the child), and the family planning program (discussion about family planning, acquiring lighting , and media exposure) on the fertility preference of the childbearing age women (wanita usia subur/WUS) that married / living together ages 15-49. The data used is WUS data resulted of Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey 2012 by applying the method of descriptive analysis and multinomial logistic regression. In terms of comparing the preferences of two children was not enough against the two children are enough (two children are enough as a reference), the results of the analysis concluded that the age at first marriage has a negative correlation with the preference of two children is not enough. WUS highly educated precisely prefers two children are not enough so well WUS with the husband / partner educated. WUS who does not work tends to prefer two children are enough, while those who work in agriculture tends to prefer two children is not enough. Meanwhile, WUS whose husband / spouse does not work and who work in the agricultural sector are equally likely to prefer two children is not enough. Economic status has a negative correlation with the preference of two children is not enough. There is no difference between those who lives in urban and in rural areas to the preferences of children. The autonomy of wife has a negative correlation with the preference of two children is not enough. Those who have a gender preference of children tends to prefer two children are enough. WUS who ever heard family planning progran (keluarga berencana/KB), KB obtained information, and discussion of family planning during the last 6 months tends to prefer two children are enough.

......The prevalence of modern contraceptive use is an indicator of the success of the family planning program, which functions as a strategy to control the population and support the accelerated reduction in maternal mortality, unwanted pregnancies, and abortion, however the achievements are still relatively low. The aim of this research is to analyze the determinants of modern contraceptive use among women of childbearing age on the island of Sumatera. This type of research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional research design, using secondary data from the 2017 Indonesian Health Demographic Survey (IDHS). The study sample consisted of 5276 respondents. Data analysis used logistic regression statistical test. The results of the analysis showed that the percentage of use of modern contraceptive methods among WUS on the island of Sumatra was 85%. However, the types of long-term contraception are still low, namely IUDs (4.1%) and implants (10.1%), the most common being the use of 3-month injections (36.7%). The results of the multivariate analysis show that the factors that influence the use of modern contraceptive methods are education, work status, knowledge about family planning, place of residence, husband's support and support from health workers. With the dominant factor, namely husband's support, there is a 3.35 times chance of using modern contraceptive methods. To increase coverage of modern contraceptive use the government needs to improve services and develop effective IEC strategies for WUS and their partners.

Abstrak :
This article presents findings of survey on Quality of Care in Family Planning co//colon' as a port of the indonesia Family LUE2 Study in i993 (IFLS I 993). The results support perceptions reflected in tire literature that indicators and measures of quality of care in family planning are not simple and difficult to obtain. Information collected from this survey fail to explain the quality of care expected. However, some information such as communication between client and provider is found to be significantly related to the duration of contraceptive use.
