"ABSTRAKCar Free Day CFD merupakan salah satu cara untuk membentuk kebiasaan hidup sehat masyarakat ibukota Jakarta. Antusiasme masyarakat yang begitu besar menjadikan jalur CFD bertambah fungsi dan semakin banyak variasi penggunaan ruang yang terjadi. Penerapan ruang informal olahraga pada CFD tidak memiliki pengaturan khusus sebagai fasilitas joging. Oleh karena itu skripsi ini membahas pemaparan terkait kualitas ruang kota yang dapat mendukung dalam memperoleh aspek kenyamanan dan memberi pengalaman menyenangkan dalam berjoging. Dengan studi kasus yang secara tidak sengaja sudah teraplikasikan kualitas tersebut pada elemen arsitektural di ruang kota dalam hal ini CFD Sudirman-Thamrin, Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan secara deskriptif diawali dengan mengkaji teori dari literatur yang terkait dengan berjoging, dalam hal ini pejoging sebagai pengguna ruang dan kualitas lingkungan di ruang kota yang memberi kenyamanan saat berjoging. Kemudian dilakukan analisis berdasarkan literatur dan pengamatan secara visual dari kumpulan foto. Kesimpulannya adalah terdapat dua faktor kualitas lingkungan di CFD Sudirman-Thamrin yaitu, faktor yang menentukan kenyamanan determinan seperti: kualitas permukaan pengalas, batas vertikal ruang, serta keramaian, dan faktor yang mendukung kenyamanan modifier seperti: variasi, dan kekayaan stimulus indera. Kedua faktor tersebut saling mempengaruhi satu sama lain guna menciptakan kualitas ruang kota yang dapat mengakomodasi pengguna ruang tepatnya pejoging.

ABSTRACTCar Free Day CFD is one of the ways to establish healthy living habits of Jakarta rsquo s capital community. The enormous enthusiasm of the community makes the CFD path increased functionality and the more varied use of space. The informal sport spaces on CFD does not provide a special setting as a jogging facility. Therefore this study is explane the quality of urban space that can support in provide the comfort aspect and joyful experience in jogging. With case study that have inadvertently applied these qualities to architectural elements in urban space, CFD Sudirman Thamrin, Jakarta. Research done descriptively begins by studying the literature reviews related to jogging, especially the environmental quality in the urban space that gives comfort when jogging, then continued with observations from the field and documented through series of photos. The conclusion of this study is that there are two factors of environmental quality in CFD Sudirman Thamrin, that determine comfort such as the quality of horizontal surface, and vertical boundary including human crowd, and factors that support the comfort modifier such as variations of space and the wealth of sensory stimuli.
