Profesionalisme perawat di masyarakat dapat mempengaruhi persepsi pelajar kelas XII dan minat melanjutkan pendidikan di bidang keperawatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah mencari hubungan persepsi pelajar kelas XII tentang profesi perawat dengan minat melanjutkan pendidikan keperawatan. Metode penelitian ini survey analitik asosiasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sebanyak 138 siswa kelas XII berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisa univariat menunjukan responden terbanyak berusia 17 tahun (62%), jenis kelamin terbanyak perempuan (70%), namun responden laki-laki (55%) memiliki persepsi lebih positif dibandingkan perempuan (48%). Uji statistik yang digunakan Chisquare. Hasil analisa bivariat menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara persepsi pelajar kelas XII di SMAN 1 Cibinong terhadap profesi perawat dengan minat melanjutkan pendidikan di keperawatan (p=0.489, p>0.05). Peneliti merekomendasikan dilakukannya penelitian lanjutan mengenai faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi pelajar tentang profesi perawat.

ABSTRACT
The professional nurses in the community can influence the perception of students especially the class XII and the interests in continuing education in nursing. The purpose of this research was to ain the relationship between perceptions of students in the class XII about the nursing profession and their interest in continuing education in nursing. The method is using an analityc survey of associate with cross sectional approach. 138 high school students class XII participated in this research. Research results are mostly students 17 years old (62%), 70% girls, 48% girls comparate to 55% boys has positive perceptions about nurse. Using Chi-square test, indicate that there relationship between student perceptions of class XII at SMAN 1 Cibinong about the nursing profession and their interest continuing education in nursing (p=0.489, p > 0.05). This research recommends further research about factors that influance student perceptions about nursing profession.
