ABSTRAKProfesionalisme perawat di masyarakat dapat mempengaruhi persepsi pelajarkelas XII dan minat melanjutkan pendidikan di bidang keperawatan. Tujuanpenelitian adalah mencari hubungan persepsi pelajar kelas XII tentang profesiperawat dengan minat melanjutkan pendidikan keperawatan. Metode penelitianini survey analitik asosiasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sebanyak 138siswa kelas XII berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisa univariatmenunjukan responden terbanyak berusia 17 tahun (62%), jenis kelaminterbanyak perempuan (70%), namun responden laki-laki (55%) memiliki persepsilebih positif dibandingkan perempuan (48%). Uji statistik yang digunakan Chisquare.Hasil analisa bivariat menunjukan tidak ada hubungan antara persepsipelajar kelas XII di SMAN 1 Cibinong terhadap profesi perawat dengan minatmelanjutkan pendidikan di keperawatan (p=0.489, p>0.05). Penelitimerekomendasikan dilakukannya penelitian lanjutan mengenai faktor yangmempengaruhi persepsi pelajar tentang profesi perawat.

ABSTRACTThe professional nurses in the community can influence the perception of studentsespecially the class XII and the interests in continuing education in nursing. Thepurpose of this research was to ain the relationship between perceptions ofstudents in the class XII about the nursing profession and their interest incontinuing education in nursing. The method is using an analityc survey ofassociate with cross sectional approach. 138 high school students class XIIparticipated in this research. Research results are mostly students 17 years old(62%), 70% girls, 48% girls comparate to 55% boys has positive perceptionsabout nurse.
