"STEMI yaitu infark miokard akut dengan elevasi segmen ST, umumnya terjadi jika aliran darah koroner menurun secara mendadak setelah oklusi trombus pada plak aterosklerotik yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Model Adaptasi Roy merupakan proses kompensasi dan adaptasi terhadap diri sendiri, lingkungan, kesehatan, dan perawatan yang diperlukan untuk kelangsungan hidup pasien sebagai upaya mempertahankan fungsinya. Untuk merubah prilaku tidak efektif menjadi prilaku adaptif telah disusun dan dilaksanakan berbagai intervensi keperawatan yang bersifat regulator dan kognator. Itulah peran perawat sebagai pemberi pelayanan keperawatan. Selanjutnya residen sebagai peran peneliti telah melakukan pelaksanaan prediktor luka tekan dengan metode Braden dan program intervensi perawatan risiko luka tekan pada pasien bedah jantung. Residen sebagai peran pendidik telah menerapkan pendidikan kesehatan kepada mahasiswa, perawat, dan pasien serta keluarga, dan telah menerapkan penatalaksanaan monitoring komplikasi pasien post percutaneus coronary intervention sebagai peran inovator. Kesimpulannya bahwa perawat memiliki beberapa peran yaitu peran sebagai pemberi palayanan keperawatan, peran peneliti, peran pendidik, dan peran inovator. Residen memberikan saran kepada semua elemen yang berkaitan dengan keperawatan agar memberikan stimulasi untuk berkembangnya peran-peran perawat tersebut.
