"ABSTRACTAn experimental community trial study was conducted to observe the influence of communication program on weekly iron supplementation in Tanzanian adolescent school girls. A sample of 237 school-going adolescent girls aged 14 -17 years was randomly recruited from 5 schools in Darus-Salaam and placed into 3 groups. One group received 65 mg elementary iron with 0.25 mg folic acid on a weekly dose along with communication sessions. The second group received the same dose of iron tablets and no communication sessions. No intervention was made to the control group. A VENN Diagram to assess the most closer person whom the girls would listen to was drawn prior to study. Three Focus Group Discussions at different stages with the adolescents and teachers were conducted. Anthropometrics in-dices were done once at baseline. Supplementation and communication strategies lasted for 8 weeks. Measurements of Hemoglobin levels to obtain a general picture about the nutritional status of the participants were carried out before and after the intervention. Hemoglobin increased in school 1&2, (iron supplementation plus communication schools), (p<0.001); and anemia dropped significantly (p<0.001). School 3 (iron without communication) had zero anemia decrease; while school 4 (control); had anemia rates unchanged. To the contrary; anemia levels increased significantly in control school 5; (p>0.05). Knowledge test was carried out before and after intervention; and an in-crease in test scores of school 1&2 was observed (p<0.001). Compliance was checked through stool examination (observed compliance) and iron pill distribution record (reported compliance). The results as indicated by two positive stool tests, were 94% and 75% in school 1 and 2 respectively; in school 3 (iron supplementation only) it was 50%. Reported compliance was 89% for school I&2 each, and 48% for school 3.It was concluded that, carefully planned communication strategies can influence ingestion of iron supplementation; and, as anemia in adolescents in Tanzania is high, therefore a National Iron Supplementation Program was recommended."

"The drug abuse which done by adolescence in the progress of the drugs it self has been increase and brings more anxiety for the family, society, nation and country. The adolescence abuser of drugs are constitute of the next generation who will continue the nation and the country development. They don't just come out of the high-class economical society, but they also come from the middle class to the lower economical society. In addition of the drugs abuse by adolescence doesn't go around among the city civilian only, but it is also there in the village civilian. That's way, it is so important to do some prevention and rescuing effort to the adolescence to keep them a way from the danger of drugs abuse, so there will be no lost generation because of the drugs abuse. Till the time for the adolescence are ready to be the next generation of the nation and the country development of theirs. Because the nation and the country need to have the adolescence with quality, creativity, sound of body and their sound of mind.The examination about drugs abuse by adolescence use the qualitative examination method, which is an examination procedure that is produce descriptive data, words, writer, and behavior which can be observed from the subject. Meanwhile the kind of examination which use is the descriptive examination, it's and examination that has purpose to give a picture about a society or a particular group or a picture of a syndrome or the bonds between two symptoms or ever more. The method and the type of examination that is use to examine and to reveal the case of drugs that is marijuana and was done by a male young adolescence who was charged in guilty by the judge because of broke the law regulation number 22 of 1997 about narcotic and doing is time in the prison class II A at East Jakarta.One of the social control theories that were spoken by Travis Hirschi that is social bonds theory, which based of four elements. Those attachment, commitment, involvement and belief are the form of tool or analysis knife which is use to analyze the case of drugs abuse by adolescence. Social bonds theories explain the stronger social bonds of some body with their social norms of society; can be avoided from the behavior deviation or delinquency. And the opposite, if the bond of society of some body is weak, than it can cause the delinquency."

"Pada masa remaja perkembagan psikososial semakin meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan biologis. Akibat dari perkembangan tersebut remaja mulai tertarik dengan lawan jenis yang pada akhirnya berpacaran (Santrock,1990). Konflik merupakan hal yang sulit dihindari ketika berpacaran. Terdapat tiga cara dalam menyelesaikan konflik yaitu menghindar (avoidance), menyerang (attacking) dan menyelesaikan masaalah (problem solving) (Weber dan Haring, 1998).Dengan demikian, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kecenderungan remaja dalam memilih cara penyelesaian konflik tersebut dan untuk melihat apakah ada perbedaan perempuan dan laki-laki dalam menyelesaikan konflik.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat ukur. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah kuesioner cara penyelesaian konflik.Partisipan penelitian ini adalah remaja tengah (15-18 tahun) dan remaja akhir (19-21 tahun) dengan jumlah 84 orang berimbang antara laki-laki dan perempuan.Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa remaja di Indonesia cenderung memilih cara problem solving dibandingkan dengan attacking dan avoidance. Selain itu tidak ada perbedaan diantara perempuan dan laki-laki dalam memilih cara penyelesaian konflik tersebut.

The psychosocial development increases alongside the biological development. This development can be seen from their interested in the opposite sex and because of it they start to make an intimate relationship with the opposite sex that we usually called romantic relationship (Santrock, 1990). In romantic relationship conflict can not be avoided. There are three methods of conflict resolution which are avoidance, problem solving and attacking (Weber and Haring, 1998). The objective of this study is knowing what kind of conflict resolution styles adolescences tend to use and see the differences between male and female in choosing the conflict resolution styles.This is a quantitative study that use questionnaire as a measuring tool. The measuring tool which is used in this study is the conflict resolution styles questionnaire. The participants of this study are middle adolescences (15-18 years) and late adolescences (19-21 years). The total numbers of participants are 84. This number is equal between male and female.The result shows that adolescences in Indonesia tend to choose the problem solving style than attacking. or avoidance. However there is no difference between male and female in choosing the conflict resolution styles."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang faktor ekternal dan internal yang berhubungan dengan kecenderungan penyimpangan perilaku makan pada atlet wanita di SMP/SMA Negeri Ragunan (Khusus Olahragawan). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan disain cross sectional. Hasil penelitian yaitu 50% atlet wanita mengalami kecenderungan penyimpangan perilaku makan terdiri dari 1,2% anoreksia nervosa, 4,9% bulimia nervosa, dan 43,9% EDNOS. Lalu, hanya faktor internal seperti perilaku diet, citra tubuh, dan kepercayaan diri yang mempunyai hubungan signifikan dengan kecenderungan penyimpangan perilaku makan. Peneliti menyarankan kepada pihak sekolah untuk menyebarluaskan informasi mengenai penyimpangan perilaku makan melalui kurikulum pendidikan, penyuluhan, seminar, dan bekerjasama dengan tenaga kesehatan, psikolog, dan pelatih.

The focus of this study is external and internal factor relating to eating disorder of the female athletes in SMP/SMA Negeri, Ragunan (High School Athlete). The research in quantitative with cross-sectional design. The result is 50% female athletes have eating disorder such as 1,2% anoreksia nervosa, 4,9% bulimia nervosa, and 43,9% EDNOS. And than internal factor as diit behaviour, body image, confidence related to significant with eating disorder. The researcher suggests that school should give infomation about eating disorder by education curriculum, workshop and cooperate to team medic, psychologist, and coach/trainer athletic."

"ABSTRAKPerilaku manusia dapat dibedakan melalui tiap tahap perkembangannya, yaitu masa anak -anak, remaja, dewasa, dan masa tua. Pada masa remaja, pola pikir manusia mengalami sebuah perkembangan, sehingga Ia akan lebih mandiri dari orang tuanya dan ingin mengeksplorasi hal-hal baru yang ada di sekitarnya. Hal itu dapat bersifat negatif maupun positif. Dan tidak seperti stereotype yang ada bahwa anak remaja hanya dapat melakukan hal-hal yang melanggar norma, mereka juga dapat menjadi pahlawan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan membawa pengaruh positif bagi masyarakat. Semua ini terangkum dalam cerpen berjudul Das Geheimnis der Statue dari penerbit Hueber yang merupakan sebuah jenis Netzliteratur dan terlihat menonjol pada unsur intrinsiknya. Dengan menggunakan metode pembacaan kritis dan teori Adolescence pada cerpen, terlihat jelas proses bagaimana anak remaja yang pada awalnya dianggap remeh oleh orang dewasa kemudian dapat menjadi pahlawan yang berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif untuk permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat.

ABSTRACTHuman behavior can be distinguished through each stage of its development, namely childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age. In adolescence, the human mindset experiences a development, so that they will be more independent of their parents and wanting to explore new things around them. The outcome can be negative or positive. Unlike the stereotype that teenagers can only do things that violate the norms, they can also be heroes in our everyday life and bring positive influence to the society. All this is summarized in a short story called Das Geheimnis der Statue from Hueber publisher and is defined as Netzliteratur and stand out on its intrinsic elements. With using the critical reading method and the Adolescence theory, it clearly shows the process of how adolescents that are initially underestimated by adults could then become the hero who succeeded in contributing positive actions to problems faced by society."
