"Produk kosmetik, herbal maupun sintetik, telah banyak dikembangkan untuk mengatasi kerontokan rambut, namun produk sintetik berpotensi memberikan efek samping seperti gatal-gatal, sementara produk herbal umumnya lebih aman. Salah satu bahan aktif dari tanaman pangan yang berpotensi sebagai sediaan topikal penumbuh rambut adalah teh hijau.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sediaan hair tonic yang stabil, memiliki khasiat penumbuh rambut, dan aman. Ekstrak etanol teh hijau diformulasikan dalam konsentrasi 2,5%, 5%, dan 7,5%, kemudian dilakukan berbagai evaluasi. Uji kestabilan fisik meliputi cycling test, penyimpanan pada suhu tinggi (40°C ± 2°C), suhu kamar (25°C ± 2°C), dan suhu rendah (4°C ± 2°C). Uji aktivitas pertumbuhan rambut dilakukan pada tikus putih jantan dengan pengamatan dan pengukuran panjang rambut pada hari ke-7, 14, dan 21, penimbangan bobot dan pengukuran diameter rambut pada hari ke-21. Uji keamanan dilakukan pada 9 sukarelawan dengan mengoleskan hair tonic pada lengan atas bagian dalam.
Hasil pengujian menunjukkan hair tonic stabil dalam penyimpanan, kecuali pada penyimpanan suhu rendah (4°C ± 2°C). Ketiga formula hair tonic memberikan aktivitas pertumbuhan rambut, bahkan lebih baik dibandingkan minoksidil 2,5%. Ketiga formulasi ini aman digunakan serta tidak mengiritasi kulit. Formula hair tonic ekstrak teh hijau yang paling optimal adalah formula dengan konsentrasi ekstrak teh hijau 2,5%.

Herbal and synthetic cosmetic products have been developed to unravel problem of hair loss, yet synthetics are potential to give side effects (e.g. itching), whilst herbal products are generally safer. Green tea is one of food derived active ingredient potential as topical hair grower.
The purpose of this study is to formulate hair tonic which is stable, effective towards hair growth, and safe. Ethanolic extract of green tea was formulated into varied concentrations i.e. 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5%. Physical stability test performed such as cycling test, storage in high temperature (40°C ± 2°C), room temperature (25°C ± 2°C), and low temperature (4°C ± 2°C). Activity of hair growth test was by hair length measurements on day 7, 14, and 21, plus diameter measurements and total weights of hair on day 21. Safety test was carried out on 9 volunteers? upper hands.
Results showed the hair tonic was stable in storage, except in low temperature (4°C ± 2°C). In addition to giving hair growth activity, all of the formulas had greater activity than synthetic drug i.e. minoxidil 2.5%. These hair tonics were safe and did not irritate skin. The most optimal formulation was formula 1 with green tea extract concentration 2.5%.

"Pemakaian teknologi Augmented Reality kepada Revisit Intention melalui E-Customer Satisfaction pada pengguna website kosmetik halal Wardah di DKI Jakarta. Augmented Reality dipilih selaku variabel bebas karena kemampuannya untuk mengembangkan pengalaman belanja interaktif dan kepuasan pelanggan. Revisit Intention dipakai selaku variabel terikat untuk memahami niat pelanggan mengunjungi kembali situs web, sementara E-Customer Satisfaction berperan selaku variabel mediasi. Pendekatan penelitian memakai metode kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 180 responden yang pernah memakai fitur Augmented Reality pada website Wardah. Analisis data dilaksanakan memakai Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa Augmented Reality berdampak positif kepada Revisit Intention dan E-Customer Satisfaction. Selain itu, E-Customer Satisfaction terbukti secara signifikan memediasi relasi antara Augmented Reality dan Revisit Intention. Temuan ini menyediakan kontribusi praktis bagi pengembangan strategi pemasaran digital melalui teknologi inovatif seperti Augmented Reality, khususnya di industri kosmetik halal.

The use of Augmented Reality technology on Revisit Intention through E-Customer Satisfaction among users of the halal cosmetic website Wardah in DKI Jakarta is analyzed. Augmented Reality was selected as the independent variable due to its ability to enhance interactive shopping experiences and e-customer satisfaction. Revisit Intention was used as the dependent variable to understand customers' intention to revisit the website, while E-Customer Satisfaction acted as the mediating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 180 respondents who had used the Augmented Reality feature on the Wardah website. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that Augmented Reality positively influences Revisit Intention and E-Customer Satisfaction. Moreover, E-Customer Satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between Augmented Reality and Revisit Intention. These findings provide practical contributions to developing digital marketing strategies through innovative technologies such as Augmented Reality, particularly in the halal cosmetic industry"

Asam azelat merupakan salah satu zat yang memiliki efek anti jerawat dan pencerah kulit akan tetapi dilarang terdapat pada produk kosmetik berdasarkan Peraturan Kepala Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan nomor 18 tentang Persyaratan Teknis Bahan Kosmetika tahun 2015 lampiran V. Asam azelat sebagai obat jerawat dalam penggunaannya harus dengan resep dokter dan umumnya digunakan pada konsentrasi 20 di dalam formulasi krim dan 15 di dalam gel. Penggunaan asam azelat pada konsentrasi rendah di dalam produk kosmetik tidak direkomendasikan karena asam azelat tidak menunjukkan efektifitas jika konsentrasinya di bawah 10 dan penggunaan antibiotik dosis rendah dapat menimbulkan resistensi. Aplikasi konsentrasi yang lebih tinggi dari 10 dianggap sebagai penggunaan pada medis. Metode standar penentuan asam azelat baik dalam kadar tinggi maupun kadar rendah belum ada, tapi umumnya digunakan metode KCKT untuk penentuan asam azelat dalam kadar besar. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan modifikasi metode analisis asam lemak standar AOAC Internasional serta validasi metode analisa agar metode tersebut dapat diaplikasikan di laboratorium. Metode analisis melibatkan pemanasan sediaan krim yang telah dilarutkan dengan metanol dan ditambahkan katalis BF3-metanol 10 , dilanjutkan dengan ekstraksi dan analisis dengan GCMS. Berdasarkan hasil validasi metode diperoleh kurva kalibrasi yang cukup linier dengan nilai korelatif 0,9997. Metode ini juga cukup sensitif dengan batas deteksi 1,02 g/mL, presisi yang cukup baik dengan simpangan baku relatif RSD antara 0,63 ndash; 0,96 serta hasil yang cukup akurat yang mana persentase perolehan kembali sebesar 99,85 pada rentang 98,27 ndash; 100,72 . Hasil yang baik ini menunjukkan bahwa metode dapat digunakan sebagai metode analisis untuk pengujian di laboratorium.
ABSTRACT
Azelaic acid is one of the substances that has anti acne and skin lightening effects but prohibited on cosmetics products based on the Regulation of the Head of the National Agency of Drug and Food Control BPOM No. 18 of 2015 on the Technical Requirements of Cosmetics Ingredients Annex V. Azelaic acid as an acne medicine in use should be by prescription and is generally used at a concentration of 20 in a cream formulation and 15 in the gel. The use of azelaic acid at low concentrations in cosmetic products is not recommended because azelaic acid is not shown to be effective if the concentration is below 10 and the use of low dose antibiotics can lead to resistance. While the use of above 10 is categorized as a medical treatment. The standard method of determining of azelaic acid both in high and low levels does not yet exist, but used the HPLC method to determine a large amount of azelaic acid. In this research, the fatty acid standard analysis method of AOAC International was modified and validated to be used in the laboratory. The method of analysis involves heating the cream preparations dissolved with methanol and then added BF3 methanol catalyst, followed by extraction and analysis using GCMS. The validation of method shows that the calibration curve is linear with correlative value of 0.9997. The method is fairly sensitive with 1.02 g mL detection limit, and fairly precision with relative standard deviation RSD of between 0.63 0.96 and fairly accurate which the recovery percentage is 99.85 at range 98.27 100.72 . In sum the results demonstrate that the method can be used as a routine analysis method for laboratory testing."

"Saat ini tren penggunaan kosmetik di Indonesia tidak untuk wanita saja, namun telah berinovasi pada produk kosmetik bagi pria maupun anak-anak. Hingga tahun 2019, pemerintah Indonesia mencatat terdapat sebanyak 797 perusahaan kosmetik dalam negeri baik dari skala kecil, menengah maupun besar dimana angka tersebut meningkat dari jumlah pada tahun sebelumnya yaitu sebesar 760 perusahaan. Kinerja industri kosmetik juga mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 5.59% pada tahun 2020 dan berhasil menyumbang devisa negara dengan nilai ekspor mencapai USD 317 juta atau mengalami kenaikan sebesar 15.2% dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Aliran supply chain dalam akivitas bisnis tentunya merupakan hal yang rumit untuk dibicarakan karena aktivitas, koneksi dan keterkaitan antar elemen dari hulu ke hilir penuh dengan risiko dan ketidakpastian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model penilaian kinerja supply chain padaperusahaan kosmetik di Indonesia, sehingga pengelolaan risiko dan ketidakpastian dalam jaringan supply chain dapat dieksplor lebih lanjut sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi dalam melakukan mitigasi risiko yang tepat. Terdapat 3 metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, pertama adalah literature review untuk mengumpulkan indikator SCOR lalu memvalidassi dengan expert, adalah ANP untuk mengetahui bobot dan pengaruh antar dimensi. Ketiga adalah melakukan evaluasi dengan methode traffic light. 27 indikator dalam 5 parameter telah berhasil tervalidasi dari 41 indikator oleh 3 expert di bidang industri kosmetik dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 7,9.untuk evaluasi nya dari dari 5 parameter 3 harus segera di evaluasi performancenya dikarenakan lebih rendah dari target. Untuk parameter plan harus segera menyediakan buffer stock Ketika terjadi keterlambatan raw material dan memfasilitasi data historical sales untuk proses perhitungan forecast lalu untuk delivery adalah memastikan barang yang dikirim dalam kondisi bagus serta melakukan perjanjian dengan distributor untuk proses return dilakukan sebulan sekali dan untuk parameter source menambahkan buffer time jika terjadi delay pengiriman.

Currently, the trend of using cosmetics in Indonesia is not only for women, but has made innovations in cosmetic products for men and children. Until 2019, the Indonesian government recorded that there were 797 domestic cosmetic companies, both small, medium and large scale, where this number increased from the previous year's number of 760 companies. The performance of the cosmetics industry also grew by 5.59% in 2020 and succeeded in contributing to foreign exchange with an export value reaching USD 317 million, an increase of 15.2% compared to the previous year. The supply chain flow in business activities is certainly a complicated matter to discuss because activities, connections and linkages between elements from upstream to downstream are full of risks and uncertainties. This study aims to design a supply chain performance assessment model for cosmetic companies in Indonesia, so that the management of risk and uncertainty in the supply chain network can be further explored so that it can be used as a reference in carrying out appropriate risk mitigation. There are 3 methods used in this study, the first is a literature review to collect SCOR indikators and then validated by experts, namely ANP to determine the weight and influence between dimensions. The third is to evaluate the traffic light method. 27 indicators in 5 parameters have been successfully validated from 41 indicators by 3 experts in the cosmetics industry with an average value of 7.9. for the evaluation of the 5 parameters 3, the performance must be evaluated immediately because it is lower than the target. For plan parameters, you must immediately provide a buffer stock when there is a delay in raw material and facilitate historical sales data for the forecast calculation process. For delivery, ensure that the goods sent are in good condition and make agreements with distributors for the return process to be carried out once a month and for the source parameter, add a buffer. time in the event of a delivery delay."

"Sebagai negara yang didominasi oleh penganut agama Islam, kesadaran untuk menggunakan produk halal di Indonesia semakin meningkat. Hal ini memengaruhi adanya peningkatan perkembangan pada industri halal, salah satunya adanya industru kosmetik halal. Seiring dengan pergeseran perilaku konsumen dalam berbelanja secara tradisional menjadi online, Wardah sebagai pioner kosmetik halal melakukan upaya untuk mengembangkan situs Wardahbeauty.com. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi intensi pembelian online pada kosmetik halal, menggunakan studi kasus merek Wardah. Penelitian ini mengadopsi teori Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) untuk memahami perilaku konsumen dalam membeli kosmetik halal secara online. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan judgemental sampling yang melibatkan 274 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metode Structural Equation Model (SEM) untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel-variabel yang diteliti dengan aplikasi IBM AMOS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teori S-O-R dapat menjelaskan kegiatan belanja online, dimana stimulus yang diteliti adalah religiosity, hedonic shopping value, utilitarian shopping value, dan environmental stimuli. Stimuli ini berhasil memengaruhi organisme yang terdiri dari cognitive attitude, affective attitude, dan emotional purchase yang akhirnya menghasilkan respons berupa intensi pembelian kosmetik halal secara online. Meski begitu, tidak ditemukan pengaruh yang signifikan pada hedonic shopping value terhadap cognitive attitude, utilitarian shopping value terhadap cognitive attitude dan affective attitude, environmental stimuli terhadap emotional purchase, dan emotional purchase terhadap online purchase intention.

As a country Muslim-majority country, awareness to use halal products in Indonesia is increasing. This affects the development of the halal industry, one of which is the halal cosmetics industry. Along with the shift in consumer behavior from traditional to online shopping, Wardah as a pioneer of halal cosmetics made efforts to develop Wardahbeauty.com site. Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the factors that influence online purchase intentions for halal cosmetics, using a case study of the Wardah brand. This study adopts the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory to understand consumer behavior in buying halal cosmetics online. The research sample was selected using judgmental sampling involving 274 respondents. This study uses a quantitative approach and the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method to see the relationship between the variables studied using the IBM AMOS 26 application. The results show that S-O-R theory can help explaining online shopping activities, where the stimulus studied is religiosity, hedonic shopping value, utilitarian shopping value, and environmental stimuli. These stimuli succeeded in influencing the organism, consisting of cognitive attitude, affective attitude, and emotional purchase which ultimately resulted in a response in the form of intention to purchase halal cosmetics online. Even so, no significant effect was found on hedonic shopping value on cognitive attitude, utilitarian shopping value on cognitive attitude and affective attitude, environmental stimuli on emotional purchase, and emotional purchase on online purchase intention."
